Everything and Anything Exists Only Because I Believe it Does.

Think about that for minute.

Think about that for minute.

Everything and anything exists only because I believe they do.

I feel it’s an interesting concept, and actually very true…, if you really think about it.

What exists, what is real, is unique to each of us.

My “reality” is distinctly my own, formed by what my senses have accumulated and experienced.

You have accumulated knowledge and experiences that I never will, and vice versa.

Your “reality” is distinctly your own, formed by what your senses have accumulated and experienced.

Our senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste, are only sensors of data, which are sent to our brains for interpretation.

The reality around us is created by our brains and those interpretations.

That’s it.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one was there to hear it, did it really fall?

If I didn’t hear it, it didn’t fall as far as I’m concerned.

And why would I even care?

Why do I?

Do I?

Apparently.

Our lives are enigmas (a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand) wrapped in conundrums (confusing and difficult problems or questions).

And then we die.

What reality is left then?

I’m not sure…, but I think I’m getting a headache.

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” – Albert Einstein

“Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.” – John Lennon
