For all of those people wondering, President Trump and the majority of Americans who don’t appreciate people disrespecting our anthem or our flag, are not embarrassments to our country in the eyes of the world, the kneelers and sitters are the embarrassments. Even if some of us view your protest as a valid one, the method of your protest does not further your cause, it actually hurts your cause.  Kneelers and sitters absolutely have the right to sit or kneel during the anthem, but other people absolutely have the right to not like it.

Think about this: We’ve got American football players disrespecting the flag and the country in protest of the mistreatment of African-Americans by law enforcement, some while playing for a team named the “Redskins.”

Today, September 26, 2017, “Mr. Erickson Rules!” officially becomes a blog!
