The Coronavirus, Mexico and illegal immigration.

Right now, the coronavirus is not a problem in Mexico.

There have been some suspected cases, but nothing confirmed.

But what if the virus spreads to Mexico?

Better said, what about WHEN the virus spreads to Mexico…, because you know it will.

Then how will democrats spin their love of illegal immigration?

Even though President Trump has managed to greatly reduce illegal immigration from Mexico, there is still an average of over 30,000 illegal immigrants crossing over into our country on a monthly basis.

That’s over 30,000 people, A MONTH, just walking into our country, unscreened for the coronavirus, or any other virus or disease for that matter.

When the virus starts showing up in Mexico, that’s when we’ll really see the effects of not being able to control our borders.

I’m sure President Trump will ask for the means to exert additional control over the border (which would be a completely reasonable and appropriate request), and I’m sure the democrats will fight him every step of the way on this.

We already understand that democrats have NO concern for the safety of American citizens when it comes to illegal immigrants…, so I’m sure passing the coronavirus onto us all (but not them of course) won’t bother them at all.

I can hear all of the democrats now…

“Donald Trump is to blame!”

Donald Trump is just using the coronavirus as an excuse to expand his racist border practices.”

“Immigrants (referring to illegal immigrants) have a right to the best treatment for the virus, just like American citizens.”

“It isn’t right to discriminate against individuals who are sick by no fault of their own.

“We are a caring nation and we shouldn’t turn anyone away for any reason.”

Keep your ears open and see how long it takes to start hearing comments like these from the democrats and their co-conspirators in the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

The Statue of Liberty says, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”

It doesn’t say anything about sending your sick people here!

Especially your sick people who have the potential of spreading an epidemic across our country and killing thousands, perhaps millions of Americans.

Well, well, well…, look at what liberal “pot” is calling a liberal “kettle” black!

Joseph A. Wulfsohn of Fox News says, “MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd is facing backlash on Monday night for suggesting that supporters for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., are part of a ‘digital brown shirt brigade.’”

According to urbandictionay .com, “brown shirts” are, “Soldiers in Hitler’s storm trooper army during the Nazi regime. They were called this because of the colored shirts they wore. To call someone a ‘brown shirt’ is to call them a Nazi soldier, usually hinting that they oppose human rights or freedom.”

“During a panel discussion on Sanders’ surge ahead of the New Hampshire primary, Todd cited a column critical of Sanders’ online support,” Wulfsohn added.

‘“I want to bring up something that Jonathan Last put in The Bulwark today,’ Todd began. ‘Here’s what he says, “No other candidate has anything like this digital brown shirt brigade. I mean, except for Donald Trump. The question that no one is asking is this; what if you can’t win the presidency without an online mob? What if we now live in a world having a bullying, agro-social media running around, hobbling everyone who sticks their head up is either an important ingredient for or a critical marker of success?”’”

Ya.., the other democrats only wish they had “on-line mobs” like Bernie does, or even more so, like President Trump has!

“He continued, ‘I know that everybody’s freaking out about this, but you saw the MAGA rally that’s preparing around here. There are people coming from three or four states on that. That’s real — and this is like Bernie.’”

Uh…, not quite. You would be more correct that Bernie is like President Trump…, only on a much smaller scale.

“That sparked major backlash on social media, with the hashtag #firechucktodd trending on Twitter.”

Why, they’re not claiming he’s “fake news” are they?!

In Chuck Todd’s defense, I’m sure he was just following marching orders…, sticking with the “brown shirts,” military type theme.

What we have here is a case of the democrat establishment “throwing some shade” Bernie’s way.

They have to incrementally attack Bernie, because Bernie will not be allowed to win…, let’s make that clear.

I mean Bernie isn’t even a democrat after all…, he’s an “independent.”

He’s allowed to get into the mix, and to bring voters to the table…, but he’s not allowed to actually win.

“Sanders’ national press secretary, Briahna Gray, blasted the Nazi-inspired comparison.”

‘“Digital brown shirt brigade.’ That’s how our Jewish candidate’s supporters are being described on the MSM [Main Stream Media]. The contempt shown for ordinary people is really something,’ Gray tweeted.”

Unless, of course, that “contempt” is directed at Trump supporters! Then it’s acceptable.

I’m sure “The Squad” members, led by AOC, would not have any problem with the anti-Semitic and idiotic Nazi undertones here.

“Todd faced similar blowback in December insulting Trump voters by suggesting they ‘want to be lied to since they believe in fairy tales — like Noah’s Ark.’”

Excuse me…, but what in the hell are you talking about, Chuck?!

You’re insulting every Christian out here by calling The Bible a “fairy tale,” and then questioning their intelligence.

“On a special installment of ‘Meet the Press,’ Todd spent much of the show focused on the spread of ‘misinformation’ in the media landscape.”

Oh really? Conveniently leaving MSNBC, CNN, and all the rest of the liberal media out of that “landscape,” no doubt.

“But, during a panel discussion, he pointed to a letter to the editor of the Lexington Herald Leader from January 2019, something Todd thought was a ‘fascinating attempt’ to explain why so many Americans support President Trump.”

“The letter read, ‘[W]hy do people support Trump? It’s because people have been trained from childhood to believe in fairy tales. … This set their minds up to accept things that make them feel good. … The more fairy tales and lies he tells the better they feel. … Show me a person who believes in Noah’s ark and I will show you a Trump voter.’”

Aha.

Ok…, show me someone who believes money grows on trees…, that Socialism will solve all of our problems…, and that the earth is going to end in 10 years…, and I’ll show you a liberal democrat.

‘“This gets at something, Dean, that my executive producer likes to say, “Hey, voters want to be lied to sometimes.” They don’t always love being told hard truths,’ Todd told New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet.”

Lies, lies, lies…, all we get are lies from the democrats!

Politics and lying go hand-in-hand…, but the democrats have taken their lying to a whole new level!

They all seem to just lie at the drop of a hat now, and without any fear of reprisal.

They actually seem to be living in an alternative reality.

It’s really quite insane.

You want some examples?

Ok…, here you go.

Regarding her tearing up President Trump’s State of the Union Address, Nancy Pelosi recently said, “I tore up a manifesto of mistruths,” at her weekly press briefing.

Her statement, of course, was not questioned at all by the fake news media there.

Had I been in the audience, I would have attempted to ask, “A manifesto of mistruths? What exactly in The President’s speech would you classify as a “mistruth,” Speaker Pelosi?

Wouldn’t that seem to be reasonable and appropriate question?

And I never even went to journalism school!

The fact is there were NO mistruths in his speech (please feel free to point anything you feel is a “mistruth” to me, although multiple instances should be required since she is referring to “mistruths” with an “s”)…, but Mrs. Pelosi is allowed to recklessly characterize his speech this way without any attempt to force her to justify or back-up her claim.

Then we have Representative Adam Schiff.

Mr. Schiff has lied continually, over the last three years, regarding “Russian collusion” and the Mueller Report, and then during the impeachment hoax “hearings.”

Adam Schiff repeatedly claimed he had in his possession, “ample evidence of collusion in plain sight,” of President Trump’s collusion with Russia.

“The obstruction of justice, in particular in this case, is far worse than anything that Richard Nixon did,” Schiff said, adding, “I would say in every way this is more significant than Watergate.”

I guess Robert Mueller did not quite agree with you, Mr. Schiff.

I’m sure Robert Mueller and his team of “witch hunters” would have been more than happy to charge The President with ANY wrong doing IF they could have found ANY…, after over two years of investigation and spending thirty plus million dollars.

Then during the sham Congressional impeachment “hearings,” Adam Schiff totally misrepresented President Trump by reading supposed excerpts from The President’s call with the president of Ukraine.

The only problem was President Trump then released the actual transcript of the call, showing Adam Schiff to be completely lying about what The President said.

Schiff routinely accused The President of treason, bribery and extortion, as if they were common knowledge…, but these allegations quickly evaporated and were replaced with innocuous claims of “abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress.”

And during the trial in the Senate, Adam Schiff continuously misrepresented matters of opinion as matters of fact without blinking an eye.

Again, as in the case with Nancy Pelosi, none of Schiff’s claims are questioned at all by the fake news media.

These are just a couple examples from the parade of liberal liars.

Let’s not forget about Chuck Schumer, Jerry Nadler, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, the Clintons, Obama, Biden, Lynch, Rice, and on and on and on.

Liar, liars and more liars. And this is only a short list. A very short list!

With political “watchdogs” like the fake news media, it’s like hiring a fox to guard the hen house or a wolf to protect the sheep!

It’s a good thing that most Americans don’t consider themselves to be “sheep,” and don’t depend on the fake news media for their news or even expect a fair shake from the liberal propaganda fake news.

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, “Ivanka Trump rips ‘disgusting’ CNN panel that mocked her father’s supporters.”

“Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter and senior White House adviser, had some uncharacteristically strong criticism on Tuesday after a CNN panel slid into suggesting President Trump’s supporters were dumb.”

‘“You consistently make fun of half the country and then complain that it is divided,’ the first daughter said. ‘The arrogance, mocking accents and smug ridicule of this nation’s “Real Elites” is disgusting,’ Ivanka said.”

Bravo Ivanka!

Bravisimo!

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

These people do just absolutely make you sick.

“During a panel on Monday night, [anti-Trump Republican strategist Rick] Wilson joked that Trump couldn’t ‘find Ukraine on a map if you had the letter U and a picture of an actual, physical crane next to it,’ Wilson said.”

I would offer Wilson the same challenge!

I bet Wilson could where Dumfukistan…, I mean where New York City was on a map, though.

“That prompted CNN anchor Don Lemon to keel over in laughter. Wilson added that Trump’s support came from ‘the credulous boomer rube demo [demographic].’ In a mocking Southern accent, he added that those people want to think that ‘Donald Trump’s the smart one and y’all elitists are dumb.’”

Please recall that Rick Wilson is dubbed an “anti-Trump Republican strategist” by CNN.

He may be a strategist used by Mitt Romney, but that would be about it…, at least now that John McCain is gone.

“Lemon kept laughing hysterically before another guest, columnist Wajahat Ali, continued mocking Trump supporters. ‘You elitists with your geography and your maps and your spelling,’ Ali said with a similarly derogatory imitation.”

‘“Your math, your reading … all those lines on the map,’ Wilson added in a mocking accent. ‘Only them elitists know where Ukraine is,’ Ali said before apologizing and blaming Wilson for the stunt. Throughout all their exchange, Lemon was laughing so much that he had to tell his panelists to ‘hold on’ before they continued talking.”

‘“Rick, that was a good one. I needed that,’ Lemon told Wilson. CNN did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.”

Lemon, Ali and Wilson obviously don’t even realize how racist and culturally insensitive and demeaning they are.

Like Ivanka said, “disgusting.”

“The President himself responded early Tuesday morning, blasting Lemon as ‘the dumbest man on television.’ Both Ali and Wilson seemed unrepentant on social media. By Tuesday afternoon, Lemon had not tweeted about the exchange.”

“Ivanka Trump has tended to stay away from controversy, even refusing to fire back at comedian Samantha Bee when she hurled a crude expletive at her.”

Hey Lemon, Ali and Wilson…, don’t forget to bring your Kleenex to work election night! I and all the rest of the deplorables will be looking forward to seeing you whimper after President Trump takes the democrats out to the woodshed…, again!

Please…, don’t be an “American Idiot.”

Like the band Green Day says, “Don’t wanna be an American Idiot.”

Based on most of the polling I see, a solid 35%-45% of Americans could be considered “American Idiots.”

The funniest poll response I see show that only 55%, or so, of Americans approve of President Trump’s handling of the economy!

Really?!

So 45% of Americans, according to these polls, don’t approve of the way President Trump is handling the economy?!

Seriously?!

He has only set every possible, positive, measurable, record regarding the economy in the history of our country!

So what does this tell us?

About 45% of Americans either:

Have no clue what’s really going on, thanks mostly to the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media” and the ever disingenuous democrats.

Don’t really care what’s going on…, and they just hate President Trump.

Are just plain ignorant and/or stupid.

Promote the phony liberal narrative to remain socially acceptable within their liberal dominated environment.

Don’t care about the American people, and are only concerned with maintaining and attaining power and control.

Are anti-American, and want to see America do poorly and ultimately fail.

I also talk to my share of “American Idiots” all of the time.

When they discover I like President Trump, they immediately start verbally throwing erroneous charges they’ve “heard from somewhere” in my face.

The first one is always, “He’s a racist!”

Then, “He’s a sexist!”

I respond, “Why do you say that?”

Their answer usually is, “Because he is.”

They obviously aren’t aware that Donald Trump has a great record of promoting and empowering women at his companies.

The GOP website points out, “The Washington Post Headline: ‘Donald Trump, A Champion Of Women? His Female Employees Think So.’”

“Women who have worked with Trump say he was ‘Ahead of his time in providing career advancement for women,’ and he ‘Promoted women in a male-dominated industry.’”

“Louise Sunshine, former Trump Executive Vice President: ‘From the standpoint of being a woman, I just thought he was phenomenal, so supportive and encouraging.’”

“There are more women than men holding executive positions in the Trump Organization, heading such departments as human resources, golf and hotel management, and global licensing, even though women make up just 43 percent of the overall workforce.”

My over-riding response to all of the “American Idiots” would be, “Actions speak louder than words.”

Check out what President Trump has actually done versus the words of his detractors.

In only his first three years in office, President Trump has these tangible accomplishments to point to:

Created 7 million new jobs.

Set an all-time record of more than 158.5 million Americans employed.

Overseen the reopening/opening of 10,000 more factories in America today than on Election Day in 2016.

The unemployment rate for Americans without a high school diploma is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

The unemployment rate for disabled Americans is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

The youth unemployment rate has reached the lowest rate in nearly 50 years.

Hispanic-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

African-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

The jobless rate for African-American youth, ages 16 to 19 fell to 19.3 percent last month, the lowest rate on record. Black teenage unemployment peaked at 48.9 percent in 2010, in the heart of the Obama years!

Asian-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

Women’s unemployment is at the lowest rate in over 65 years.

Income per household has increased $5,205 since 2017 and is still growing.

Average wages have been on the rise for the first time in over 20 years and are still on the rise.

The U.S. is now the largest producer of oil and natural gas, surpassing Saudi Arabia and Russia. We are a net exporter of energy for the first time since 1957.

Established 8,764 “Opportunity Zones” to promote new jobs in low-income communities.

Poverty rates for African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans have reached new all-time lows.

In addition to all of these historical accomplishments, the President has:

Donated all of his quarterly salaries to different departments within our government,

Seen all-time highs in the stock markets on his watch,

Lowered personal and corporate tax rates, which brought trillions of investment dollars back to America, and put more money back in the pockets of working Americans,

Seen over 7 million people come off the food stamp program,

Signed the “Right to Fire” VA bill, which has seen 500 incompetent employees fired, 200 suspended, and 33 demoted,

Signed the VA “Choice” law, which allows veterans access to private medical care if their VA care is unresponsive or inadequate,

Renegotiated unfair trade deals with China, Canada, Mexico, Japan and South Korea,

Rebuilt our military,

Established the creation of the U.S. Space force, a new sixth military branch of the armed forces,

Signed the Criminal Justice reform Bill, which reforms the system by reforming sentencing for a wide range of first-time misdemeanors or by eliminating incarceration time. It also got rid of mandatory minimum sentences for felony drug offenses.

Signed the “Right to Try” law giving critically ill patients access to potentially life-saving cures,

Been the first U.S. President to meet with a leader of North Korea, and the first President to actually step foot in North Korea.

Removed thousands upon thousands of business and progress strangling federal regulations.

And many more I’m not taking the time to mention.

Pretty amazing, isn’t it?

Well, isn’t it?!

My point is…, there has been no other president in our nation’s history who can produce a list of accomplishments (in only his first three years no less) that even comes close to that of President Trump.

Promises made…, promises kept…, PLUS!

Like I said…, don’t be an “American Idiot.”

Be an informed American.

Be an American who thinks independently and thinks critically.

Be an American who can identify the true enemies of our country and our way of life and an American who will hold these enemies accountable.

Be an American who realizes that President Trump is one of the few people in Washington without an ulterior motive.

Be an American who realizes the President Trump’s only desire is to do what is best for the American people and to do what is best for America.

President Trump is toooo funny, and right on point…, again!

Ronn Blitzer of Fox News reported that, “President Trump retweeted a ‘photo-shopped’ image depicting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in Muslim headwear with a backdrop of the Iranian flag, in the midst of a Monday morning Twitter spree where he shared a number of posts accusing Democratic leadership of supporting the Iranian government.”

I don’t really think President Trump’s tweets should be characterized as “accusations,” but rather as restatements of actual events.

“The president’s political opponents have blasted him for ordering the drone strike against Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, who has been linked to numerous attacks on American forces and more. Meanwhile, they largely have remained silent as the Iranian people have staged massive protests against their leaders, in the wake of the government shooting down a passenger plane and initially denying it.”

‘“The corrupted Dems trying their best to come to the Ayatollah’s rescue,’ said the original tweet from user @D0wn_Under.”

“Trump later summed up his views on the matter, stating, ‘The Democrats and the Fake News are trying to make terrorist Soleimani into a wonderful guy, only because I did what should have been done for 20 years.’”

“You don’t see anyone standing up for Iran. You’re not hearing any of the Gulf members. You’re not hearing China. You’re not hearing Russia,” Former US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley said.

“The only ones that are mourning the loss of Soleimani are our Democrat leadership, and our Democrat presidential candidates.”

EXACTLY!

Well…, you could add the fake news media and your usual collection of Hollywood elites to the mourning mix as well.

But, we, of course, are forced to endure our dose of propagandistic mis-information administered to counter the truth. “This kind of statement is ridiculous, inflammatory and dangerous. Rather than inform viewers, Ambassador Haley wants to divide Americans,’ said former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile.

On the contrary, Ms. Brazile…, it is your statement which is “ridiculous” and divisive…, not ambassador Haley’s.

Tony Shaffer for the RealClear Politics website added, “As someone who went toe-to-toe with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Afghanistan, I can assure you that Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani got exactly what he deserved when he perished in a U.S. drone strike. What he certainly doesn’t deserve is praise from Democrat lawmakers who would rather mourn a war criminal than credit President Trump for making the world safer.”

“As the leader of the IRGC’s Quds Force, [“Quds Force” is Iran’s unconventional arm that operates outside of the Iran’s borders] which has been designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government, Soleimani was among America’s most vociferous and aggressive foes. He was personally responsible for the deaths of thousands, including the killing and maiming of hundreds of American soldiers. He was an evil, remorseless man, and his death is a positive development for the entire world — including his own country.”

“Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, however, is currently considering a resolution that labels the strike that killed Soleimani ‘provocative and disproportionate.’”

How many more American soldiers would have to die to make this a proportionate action in your eyes, Nancy?

Another hundred?

“Predictably, the Democrats have been stoking fears about Iran’s potential response ever since they’ve learned about Soleimani’s death, pretending that the strike jeopardized U.S. security rather than enhanced it. We’re not supposed to send a drone strike…, we’re supposed to send pallets of cash to those that regularly chant “death to America,” ala Obama and Biden, and hope for the best. That’s the preferred democrat strategy for dealing with Iran.

“But while the Democrats join our enemies in mourning Soleimani’s demise, those with knowledge of Soleimani’s terror campaigns are celebrating the death of a genuine war criminal.”

“The Democrats are politicizing this issue the way they’ve politicized every other issue since President Trump took office. They don’t even seem to care that they have to take the side of America’s enemies in order to criticize Donald Trump.”

Don’t worry, be happy!

That doesn’t mean be blissfully ignorant, however.

We need to keep the faith, and we need to use our brains.

There are a lot of people out there intentionally trying to get others to worry.

There are a lot of people out there intentionally and knowingly pushing false narratives and pushing fake news in an effort to cause worry and anxiety in our lives.

Jesus talked about worry and anxiety more than a few times, and he reminds us of how much God loves us, and how He can give us peace.

Whether you’re a Christian or not, Jesus’ words are worth our consideration.

Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?”

Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. “

Luke 21:14-15, 18-19 “But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict…. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Others have had some wise words regarding worry and anxiety as well.

So Jesus is saying He’ll help us with the worrying part…, but it’s up to us to be smart…, think for ourselves…, find the truth…, and see things for what they are and not what we’re told they are by people that may not have our best interests at heart.

The other day I ran across Bishop T.D. Jakes addressing this exact topic while I was flipping through the channels.

I was impressed by his message, and it was the inspiration for this blog actually.

“I came to tell you this mornin’ the devil is after your mind. He’s after your mind, brother. He’s after your mind, and let me tell ya somethin’: That’s why the car broke down. That’s why the roof started leakin’. That’s why they threatened your job. Let me tell ya somethin’: The devil don’t drive, and he don’t wanna go to work, so he doesn’t need your car, and he’s not after your job. He’s just usin’ that stuff to go after your mind ‘cause your mind is your power.”

If you acknowledge that evil exists…, that “”he” the Devil, the enemy, Satan, exists…, then you have to ask yourself, “Who and what is Satan using on the earth to help him deceive us?

Think about it.

Who is propagating lies and deception on Satan’s behalf?

“He don’t want your kids. Sometime, you don’t want ‘em! You know the devil don’t want your kids. He’s just usin’ what you care about to drive you crazy because he’s after your mind so that you will lose your power. Your mind is your power. Your power is your mind.”

“So Jesus says, ‘Take no thought.’ I’m goin’ to go deeper. Can I go deeper? So when he said, ‘Take no thought,’ I was uncomfortable with it because I didn’t really wanna preach it, and I thought, you know, because I’m really tryin’ to get us to think, and he says, ‘Take no thought,’ and I had to really look into it to understand that he’s not telling us to be mindless. You know what I think? He’s actually tellin’ us not to be distracted. Do you not know, you can be so into the possibilities of what could happen tomorrow, that you miss the pleasures of today? You could be so engrossed trying fend off what could happen that you don’t embrace what is happenin’?

Where’s the “quid pro quo?” Look at “quid pro Joe!”

Now that the impeachment attempt (the coup attempt) against President Trump has failed miserably for the democrats…, what are we left with?

I’m sure we’ll have a pathetic vote in Congress to still impeach the president, even though their witch hunt (part two) failed to uncover ANYTHING President Trump actually did wrong.

The Senate will then dispatch the fraudulent impeachment fairy tale in short order, and the democrats will be left to concoct yet another anti-Trump fairy tale.

The democrats and their co-conspirators, the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media,” will not be getting the impeachment of The President for Christmas!

They have not been very nice, but rather quite naughty!

Quite a few democrats and fake news journalists” will be finding coal (“beautiful clean burning coal”) in their Christmas stockings this year!

I also have a feeling that the upcoming Senate hearings and the newly announced investigations by the Ukrainian government will combine to make 2020 a bad year for Joe and Hunter Biden, the democrats, and the deep state in general.

What are we left with if we ban anything that bothers anyone?

The answer is a paralyzed hot mess.

A “free” society is not a society that is worried about an individual’s feelings above all else.

A “free” society is a society which allows and tolerates everybody’s beliefs and feelings.

That being said, according to Brian Flood of Fox News, “The New York Times says airing the national anthem on TV could trigger viewers who hear ‘political overtones.’”

“Trigger?”

“Political overtones?”

Are we getting “political overtones” confused with patriotic overtones?

What is “political” about hearing and/or seeing the national anthem unless you’re anti-American?

“The New York Times ‘poo-pooed’ the long-standing tradition of television stations airing The Star-Spangled Banner because some night owl viewers could be offended by the ‘politically charged’ national anthem.”

Wait…, what?

The New York Times “poo-pooed?”

Well, like I said, they are creating a “hot mess” after all.

Again…, if you’re “offended” by the national anthem and consider it “politically charged,” then you’re probably either a very confused liberal…, someone here illegally in the first place…, or you are an enemy of our country…, and in any case I’m glad you’re offended.

“The piece, written by culture reporter Julia Jacobs, is headlined ‘Local TV Revives a Bygone Tradition: Airing the National Anthem,’ and declares that the song can ‘be a dividing line’ for some Americans.”

“Culture reporter?” Why, how snooty and pretentious of you!

“The Times [Ms. Jacobs] noted that ‘one of popular culture’s generational divides’ is whether or not you are old enough to remember the days when ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ aired on television stations. The national anthem was historically played late at night, going back to the advent of television, typically amid visuals of patriotic imagery before the station signed off until the next morning.”

Oh really?

THIS is a generational divide of our culture?

I hardly think so, seeing that most of the people under 30 don’t even watch what us older folk would consider TV per se. They watch things on their TV, but they don’t watch typical TV channel broadcasts, or even satellite or cable for that matter.

‘“Now, the early morning hours are filled with rebroadcasts and infomercials, eliminating any practical reason for a formal sign off,’ the Times [Ms. Jacobs] wrote.”

What kind of imbecile has nothing better to worry about than whether they’re playing the national anthem on TV at 4:00 AM in the morning or not?

That’s really digging deep to promote your anti-American ways!

“Some stations have revived the tradition but the Times wrote that some viewers ‘might hear political overtones’ as a result. Gray Television, CBS and Nexstar Media Group have led the way, with the National Anthem now played on more than 350 stations across America, according to the Times.”

‘“The decision to revive the anthem tradition comes at a time when overt allegiance to The Star-Spangled Banner has become one of the lines that separate blue and red America,’ the Times reporter wrote.”

Why say “blue and red?” Why not say liberals and conservatives, or democrats and republicans?

Let’s not be afraid to name those who are overtly anti-America and those who are overtly pro-America.

Let’s draw a clear line and let people choose what side they’re on.

“Author, Tim Young asks, ‘Should it shock anyone at this point that the New York Times is trying to get people to be outraged at the airing of the National Anthem?’”

‘“It’s inspiring that local news is returning our National Anthem to an important place in our culture. It’s astonishing that The Times would see that as a bad thing,’ Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. ‘But if you pay close attention to the story, the paper admits that the left, including journalists, doesn’t like the national anthem. That shows exactly who and what they really are.’”

Yes it does, Mr. Gainor…, yes it does.

“The paper admits that television executives haven’t heard many complaints and feedback has been ‘overwhelmingly positive,’ but that tidbit is buried roughly 1,400 words into the story.”

“Political satirist and author Tim Young told Fox News that this story “truly reveals the mindset” of the Gray Lady [“the Gray Lady” is a nickname for The New York Times newspaper].”

‘“Should it shock anyone at this point that the New York Times is trying to get people to be outraged at the airing of the national anthem? Their piece is written as if viewers should be skeptical of every element of the song and accompanying video,’ Young said. ‘They don’t like America and its anthem and they want you to dislike it as well.’”

“In the span of a week, the Washington Post calls a terrorist psychopath a ‘religious scholar’ and the Times is upset about the national anthem being played. These are supposed to be America’s top two news publications, and they seemingly hate America.”

What if I said I find The New York Times and The Washington Post offensive?

Would they maintain their integrity and shut down the publication of their newspapers?

Of course not.

People who find liberal speech or actions offensive are dismissed out of hand and ignored by the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media.”

In this fascist, liberal socialist world, they are promoting, the arbiters of what is deemed offensive are the ones who wield the power.

And “they…,” “the ones…,” would be the anti-Americans…, the liberals…, the democrats.
