Looting…, it’s not just for criminals anymore…, radical liberals, Marxists, and opportunists in general like it too!

Natalie Escobar for National Public Radio (NPR), reports on “One author’s argument in defense of looting.”

Hmmm…, someone who feels they can defend looting?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKYpS_Ro13U

I’m not sure why anyone would want to defend that, but be that as it may…

“In the past months of demonstrations for Black lives, there has been a lot of hand-wringing about looting. And just this week, rioters have burned buildings and looted stores in Kenosha, Wis., following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, to which Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson has said: ‘Peaceful protesting is a constitutionally protected form of free speech. Rioting is not.’”

I would say the rioting and the looting have been downplayed and, even ignored, to a great extent by the complicit, liberal propaganda, news media, who have followed the lead of their democrat friends and democrat co-conspirators.

I you recall, the democrats made no mention of the civil unrest happening across our country at their convention.

Propaganda by omission.

If we (the democrats) don’t acknowledge it, or talk about it, it didn’t happen.

“Writer Vicky Osterweil’s book, ‘In Defense of Looting,’ came out on Tuesday. When she finished it, back in April, she wrote (rather presciently [with foresight]) that ‘a new energy of resistance is building across the country.’”

aloot 16

aloot 14

Please note that Vicky Osterweil used to be Willie Osterweil, just in case Vicky looked familiar.

aloot 12

aloot 13

“Now, as protests and riots continue to grip cities, she argues that looting is a powerful tool to bring about real, lasting change in society.”

aloot 20

Oh…, it’s going to bring about change alright…, but not the kind of change that any of the looters are going to like.

They are not doing themselves or any associated “movement” they may have any favors.

“The rioters who smash windows and take items from stores, she says, are engaging in a powerful tactic that questions the justice of ‘law and order,’ and the distribution of property and wealth in an unequal society.”

Otherwise known as “stealing.”

aloot 1

Vicky apparently doesn’t know it, or doesn’t care, but these are the same principles that were promoted by the Nazi’s prior to World War II.

Natalie Escobar continues, “I spoke with Osterweil about this summer’s riots, the common narratives surrounding looting, and why ‘nonviolence’ can be a misleading term.”

No…, I would say that “nonviolence” is a pretty understandable word that means something not involving violence.

“For people who haven’t read your book [and that would be 99.999999% of America], how do you define looting?”

“’When I use the word looting, I mean the mass expropriation of property, mass shoplifting during a moment of upheaval or riot.’”

Ha!

“Mass shoplifting!”

That would be “stealing,” in other words.

‘“That’s the thing I’m defending. I’m not defending any situation in which property is stolen by force. It’s not a home invasion, either. It’s about a certain kind of action that’s taken during protests and riots.”

So, breaking windows and breaking down doors isn’t considered “stolen by force” in Osterweil’s opinion?

Escobar continued by asking, “Is Looting a Loaded Word?”

Vicky Osterweil responded, ‘“Looting is a highly racialized word from its very inception in the English language. It’s taken from Hindi, lút, which means ‘goods’ or ‘spoils,’ and it appears in an English colonial officer’s handbook [on ‘Indian Vocabulary’] in the 19th century.”

Excuse me, Vicky…, but, so what?

What does the word being taken from a Hindi word have to do with your claim that the word is highly racialized?

I don’t view the word “looting,” or “looter” to be racial at all, and I don’t think most people do either.

I view the word “looter” negatively…, but that’s about it.

aloot 15

“Can you talk about rioting as a tactic? What are the reasons people deploy it as a strategy?”

‘“It does a number of important things. It gets people what they need for free immediately, which means that they are capable of living and reproducing their lives without having to rely on jobs or a wage—which, during COVID times, is widely unreliable or, particularly in these communities is often not available, or it comes at great risk. That’s looting’s most basic tactical power as a political mode of action.’”

Ha, ya!

aloot 21

How are these people supposed to live without 15 pairs of Air Jordan’s?

How are these people supposed to live without 25 Rolexes?

How are these people supposed to survive without a couple big screen TVs?

I mean, c’mon…, let’s be reasonable!

‘“It also attacks the very way in which food and things are distributed. It attacks the idea of property, and it attacks the idea that in order for someone to have a roof over their head or have a meal ticket, they have to work for a boss, in order to buy things that people just like them somewhere else in the world had to make under the same conditions. It points to the way in which that’s unjust.’”

Excuse me, Vicky…, but it’s called MAKING A LIVING!

It’s what most people have to do, unless you spend all of your time “protesting,” rioting, looting, or playing video games during your downtime, while living with mommy, mommy and daddy, grandma, grandpa, or grandma and grandpa.

‘“And the reason that the world is organized that way, obviously, is for the profit of the people who own the stores and the factories. So, you get to the heart of that property relation, and demonstrate that without police and without state oppression, we can have things for free.’”

aloot 22

Huh!  Ya…, we could all have these things for free.  If it wasn’t for the evil people who own the stores and factories, we could all just pick the big screen TVs off of the big screen TV trees!

aloot 25

‘“Importantly, I think especially when it’s in the context of a Black uprising like the one we’re living through now, it also attacks the history of whiteness and white supremacy. The very basis of property in the U.S. is derived through whiteness and through Black oppression, through the history of slavery and settler domination of the country.”’

Ya…, I don’t know of ANY black people who actually own anything, or ANY black people who aren’t oppressed!

Please, give us all a break from your idiotic, racial, stupidness.

aloot 24

‘“Looting strikes at the heart of property, of whiteness and of the police. It gets to the very root of the way those three things are interconnected. And, also it provides people with an imaginative sense of freedom and pleasure and helps them imagine a world that could be. And I think that’s a part of it that doesn’t really get talked about—that riots and looting are experienced as sort of joyous and liberatory.’”

aloot 9

aloot 3

Wow…, where do I begin here?

aloot 23

First, YOU, Vicky, racialize the situation by negatively stereotyping both Blacks and Whites.

Secondly, when you say, “And, also it [looting] provides people with an imaginative sense of freedom and pleasure,” I honestly want to throw-up.

And then you go on to say, “And I think that’s a part of it that doesn’t really get talked about—that riots and looting are experienced as sort of joyous and liberatory.’”

I can tell you, Vicky, that riots and looting are not a “joyous” occasion for those who get assaulted, or even killed, while attempting to protect their livelihood and their property.

I can tell you, Vicky, that riots and looting are not a “joyous” occasion for people to see their community burn to the ground, taking jobs and places to shop and do business with it.

“What are some of the most common myths and tropes that you hear about looting?”

aloot 6

aloot 4aloot 5

‘“One of the ones that’s been very powerful, that’s both been used by Donald Trump and Democrats, has been the outside agitator myth, that the people doing the riots are coming from the outside.’”

This is not a myth, and it has been demonstrated and documented to be absolutely true on numerous occasions during many of these riots.

‘“Another one is that looters are just acting as consumers. Why are they taking flat screen TVs instead of rice and beans? Like, if they were just surviving, it’d be one thing, but they’re taking liquor. All these tropes [a figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression] come down to claiming that the rioters and the looters don’t know what they’re doing. They’re acting, you know, in a disorganized way, maybe an ‘animalistic’ way [definitely in an “animalistic” way]. But the history of the movement for liberation in America is full of looters and rioters. They’ve always been a part of our movement.’”

And “The history of the movement for liberation in America” IS NOT “full of looters and rioters, and they [rioting and looting] have NOT “always been a part of our movement.”

I would challenge you, Vicky, to actually document these fraudulent and libelous claims against our American heritage.

‘“There’s also another factor, which is anti-Blackness and contempt for poor people who want to live a better life…’”

What in thee hell are you talking about?!

I don’t know anyone who has “contempt for poor people who want to live a better life.”

In fact, most people admire people who want to make a better life for themselves, as long as it’s legal and through being resourceful and/or through hard work.

‘“One thing about looting is it freaks people out.’”

Uh…, ya…, and pisses them off in most cases as well.

‘“But in terms of potential crimes that people can commit against the state, it’s basically nonviolent. You’re mass shoplifting. Most stores are insured; it’s just hurting insurance companies on some level. It’s just money. It’s just property. It’s not actually hurting any people.’”

aloot 7

Well, Miss Vicky, I must say your level of confusion is quite impressive!

I guess if you have never created something through hard work and sacrifice, you can’t appreciate its value.

And, “It’s not actually hurting any people,” except the owners, like I just mentioned, the people who worked at these places who are now out of jobs, and the people who may have liked patronizing these businesses, which may or may not ever reopen.

No…, it’s not actually “hurting” any people.

Idiot.

Oh, Howard, you’re such a tool…, and such a fool!

Yes, Howard, you’re such a confused, racist, ignorant, liberal tool.

At least that’s what my anonymous sources tell me!

Hey…, if it works for The Washington Post, CNN, etc….

Yes, I’ve heard Howard Stern, and the cast of aging turds on his show, return to berating people who choose to not wear masks.

amask 4

They label these people as “irresponsible,” “dangerous,” and even as potential murderers!

amask 9

Just because they balk against the foolishness of wearing a mask 24/7.

amask 10

It’s mind-numbing how Howard and his sidekicks can say nothing about how dangerous rioters and looters are, and have been, in the City of New York and around the country, but God forbid some poor person chooses to not wear a stupid mask!

amask 12

The shame!

People can riot, loot, burn, vandalize, attack police officers and others without being arrested…, but don’t you dare refuse to wear a mask…, unless you’re a protester that is!

But it’s not just being a protester…, you have to be the right kind of protester, in their eyes.

Hey, I know!

Maybe what these people who don’t want to wear masks should do is, get some of their friends together, show up and protest the store, loot it, take what they want, and then burn it down!

That would be acceptable behavior in the eyes of these liberal zealots.

Anyway…, let’s get back to Howard.

I know Howard has been hiding in his home, deathly afraid of the coronavirus, for over three months.

And now, he finally has a valid reason to go into hiding!

According to Mike Fleming Jr. for “Deadline.com,” “The war of words between Howard Stern and his former friend (I believe using the word ‘friend’ is stretching it a bit), President Donald Trump, and the president’s son Donald Jr. escalated last weekend when Junior retweeted a conservative missive that the SiriusXM broadcaster appeared in blackface and used the N-word multiple times in a pay-per-view New Year’s Eve special — in 1993.”

amask 1

“Trump Jr. has been jabbing at Stern since the radio host has spoken critically of his father’s slow response to the pandemic [that’s Howard’s opinion], and his polarizing comments in the wake of the George Floyd murder and subsequent protests [that’s also in Howard’s opinion]. Stern in turn has jabbed back.  Then, Trump Jr. retweeted the clip of the performance.”

amask 6

What “polarizing comments?”

All of the comments I’ve heard from The President have been completely appropriate.  President Trump called the Floyd video “hard to watch” and “a disgrace.”  He has called for equal justice under the law and fair treatment by the police.  He also said, “We can’t let what happened to George Floyd happen again.”

amask 13

“Polarizing?”

I guess what Mr. Fleming must be referring to as “polarizing” would be President Trump’s desire to avoid these cities from being vandalized, looted and burned.

“Polarizing,” only, I guess, in the sense that you have Pro-America people on one side and Anti-America people on the other.

“The clip [of Howard Stern using the “N” word] was first posted by filmmaker Tariq Nasheed, and it was interspersed with Stern’s recent appearance on ‘The View,’ where he claimed during the appearance that he’d never used the racial slur.”

amask 2

amask 3

You have obviously intentionally “misremembered” this , Howard.

“In the clip, Stern was reportedly playing the part of Ted Danson, with Sherman Hemsley playing Whoopi Goldberg, Danson’s girlfriend at the time. It was picked up by the unabashedly pro-Trump newspaper New York Post.”

Now, honestly…, do we ever hear the New York Times or The Washington Post defined as “unabashedly” anti-Trump newspapers?

No.

Just sayin’.

“Stern addressed the retroactive controversy this morning on his show. He expressed some regret for lampooning Goldberg and Danson’s decision to dress in blackface for a Friar’s Club roast, but said that he has evolved. He charged that the Trumps have not.”

amask 5

Oh, so, Howard has “evolved,” and along with his evolution he has gained the wisdom to pass judgement on others as to their level of racial evolution.

Does anybody else the level of this pompous ass’ hypocrisy?

Howard goes on to say, ‘“Over the years, I did change the show. A lot of people who did like that humor, where I was completely pulling my pants off, those people are pissed off at me now. They think I’m a sellout and I’m not doing a good show anymore.’”

And those people would be right.

You have become a liberal “sellout,” and your show really isn’t very good anymore…, at least the shows you bother to actually be there a couple times a week.

amask 7

‘“Attacking me during the coronavirus and Black Lives Matter is absolutely f***ing crazy, concentrating on me.’”

I’m sure you think it is, Howard.

You know what they say about people who live in glass houses, don’t you?

‘“You want to concentrate on me and bully me, and expose me, with all the TV shows I’ve done?”

Oh, so, just because you’ve done a lot of shows, that somehow makes any criticism of you unjustified?

I’ve heard you freely throw around words like “racist and “liar” where The President is concerned.

Well…, right back at ya big guy!

How fast do you think all of your “Hollywood friends” are running away from you at the moment?

We should probably use the term “ran away” at this point, because it’s already a done deal.

‘“I paid a fortune to fix me, it ain’t easy,’ Stern continued.”

Some would even suggest that you may need to spend a little more money in this area.

amask 8

“Said longtime radio partner Robin Quivers: ‘I have long been a proponent of free speech…’”

“Free” meaning speech that you agree with, obviously.

Yes…, we all wish we could be as enlightened as you and Howard, Ms. Quivers.

Please let me remind you that your idea of “entertainment” includes watching one of your staff Neanderthals sip wine through his a$$hole!

You and your crew also likes listening to “Fartman” expel gas on your show, while you joke about the Columbine students after their nightmare, and refer to one of your usual contacts as Gary “the retard.”

And you perceive yourselves as being enlightened and the rest of us as clueless hillbillies?

Just sayin’.

Our “big city” police forces have been liberally neutered!

apolice 3

The days of Harry Callahan (Dirty Harry), Riggs and Murtaugh, and Elliot Ness and The Untouchables are over!

apolice 1

apolice 4

apolice 5

Hollywood is definitely going to have to update how they produce these cop movies from now on.

Nowadays, all cops do is stand around and act as human road blocks or barricades, while they get pelted with all kinds of debris and all kinds of verbal obscenities.

apolice 10

Their hands have literally been tied behind their backs by their liberal democrat mayors.

People can shoot them, shoot at them, run them down with cars, throw deadly objects at them, torch their vehicles, and assault them physically, without having to worry about any type of response…, other than maybe getting arrested, only to be released in less than 24 hours.

apolice 6

apolice 8

These terrorists have destroyed whole police stations without a single shot being fired by the police.

apolice 7

Yes…, rest in peace Dirty Harry…, your days are looooong gone.

I really can’t imagine who would want to be a police officer these days in any big city.

I heard President Trump react to the whole rioting situation last night. He called for more National Guard troops to be deployed as well as regular military troops.

I’m sorry Mr. President, but unless these troops are allowed to use some sort of force to protect themselves and deter criminal behavior, we’re just putting more human road blocks and human barricades out there, and putting their lives at risk as well.

According to Chris Irvine of Fox News, “Rioters target police across US; 4 shot in St. Louis, 1 in Vegas, Bronx hit-and-run caught on video.”

“Police officers across the U.S. were targeted in shootings and vehicular attacks Monday night as protests continued in major cities for the seventh night despite President Trump’s vow to clamp down on violence.”

“The demonstrations on Monday marked a week of unrest since unarmed black man George Floyd died when a white Minneapolis officer jammed his knee into the back his neck in a shocking incident caught on video. Despite tens of thousands marching peacefully in demonstrations against police brutality and systemic racism, protests over Floyd’s death have been nonetheless overshadowed by violence, looting and vandalism that has engulfed U.S. cities.”

“In St. Louis, Mo., Monday night, four police officers were shot during protests in the city’s downtown area, two in the leg, one in the foot and one in the arm.”

“In Las Vegas, Nevada, an officer was shot in the head at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino on the Strip. A source told ‘8News Now’ that the officer was in a fight with another suspect when someone walked up behind and shot the officer, who is now on life support.”

“Meanwhile, in Richmond, Va., two police officers and a suspect were injured after a shooting, according to NBC12.”

“RPD officers were called to investigate a report of an armed person on Semmes Avenue early Tuesday morning. When they arrived, gunfire erupted. The two cops and the suspect were taken to local hospitals.”

“In Buffalo, N.Y., an SUV plowed through a group of law enforcement during a Floyd demonstration, injuring at least two officers.”

“Video posted by a witness showed a line of officers, backed up by an armored personnel carrier, rushing and tackling a man who was being interviewed by a man with a TV camera about 9:30 p.m.”

apolice 11

“Moments later, officers ran as the SUV barreled through a cluster, with at least one appeared to go under the vehicle’s wheels. The SUV was then able to drive round an armored vehicle and speed off.”

“In a similar incident in the Bronx in New York City, an NYPD officer investigating reports of break-ins was struck by a vehicle early Tuesday in a hit-and-run. The officer is in a stable condition.”

“And in another incident in the Bronx, an NYPD officer was attacked by several men as witnesses recorded the incident.”

The incident was well recorded, of course, but no one managed to come to the defense of the officer.

“The latest wave of protests came hours after President Trump vowed in a Rose Garden speech to restore law and order, and police under federal command forced back peaceful demonstrators with tear gas so he could walk to a church near the White House known as ‘The Church of the President’ that was set on fire during Sunday night’s rioting.”

A World War II memorial was desecrated by these terrorists as well. What does a World War II memorial, honoring soldiers who gave their lives for this country and the free world, have to do with protesting police brutality?

apolice 12

The answer is it has nothing to do with it…, but then again, these terrorists are actually carrying out their destruction because they hate America, and want to inflict as much pain on America and her people as possible…, all under the guise of some political protest.

apolice 17

apolice 13

Steve Keeley of FOX 29 News, Philadelphia, reports that, “A looter was shot and killed by the owner of a gun shop in South Philadelphia, police say.”

“Officials say the owner of the gun store, Firing Line Inc, was inside his business guarding it because they had experienced a break-in attempt on Sunday evening.”

“When a crew of looters reportedly attempted to break in, the store’s owner saw them on surveillance video and then heard them coming up the steps of the store.”

‘“One of the individuals that broke into the property, pointed a handgun at him,’ Chief Inspector Scott Smalls told FOX 29’s Steve Keeley. ‘And that’s when the store owner fired his own weapon — striking the one perpetrator at least one time in the head and he collapsed, dropping his gun between his legs.’”

“Medics pronounced that man dead at the scene. At least two or three other individuals involved in the attempted looting fled the scene.”

“The investigation remains underway.”

Yes…, “the investigation remains underway,” and if he’s lucky, the shop owner won’t be charged with murder for defending himself or his property.

These days, we all see that only law-abiding people are held to the letter of the law.

The rest of these scumbags, at the bottom, and the top, of the liberal food chain, seem to get a pass.

Maybe the cops should go back to harassing Christians because they’re trying to attend church during this whole virus thing.  That seems to be more their speed these days.

To top it all off, I have seen where Sleepy Joe Biden’s staff, as well as other democrat politicians, and the liberal Hollywood elites are donating literally millions of dollars to help these terrorists post bail.

Like I have asked before…, whose side are these people on?

I think it’s pretty obvious whose side they’re on…, and it ain’t ours.
