Let’s review the “COVID-19 stupidness.”

“Stupid is as stupid does,” they say.

And there’s a whole lot of stupidness floating around these days.

Let’s take a look at the “COVID-19 stupidness” we are still forced to put up with.

Number one revolves around getting vaccinated.

Getting vaccinated was hailed as the cure all by the powers that be…, but now they say we still have to wear masks and social distance, anyway, even after receiving the vaccine.

Dr. Fuaci has been quoted as saying he sees us having to continue to wear masks through 2022!

C’mon, Fauci! Isn’t there any common sense associated with your “science” at all?

And how many masks do we have to wear?

One mask was fine for close a year!

Now you say two masks, or even three masks would be better?!

Hello, hello, “science” calling…, and “science” is wondering why you’re not answering?

Next would have to be the airline industry.

They require passengers to social distance at every step prior to boarding the plane, then they cram us in there like sardines.

So much for the social distancing.

Does that make any sense?

Some states continue to keep their public schools closed, even though schools in other countries, and private schools here in America, have demonstrated schools can operate normally without any negative effects.  Not to mention CDC recommendations allow for schools to reopen, with proper safety considerations.

What happened to “following the science?”

Some states have still not allowed small businesses to open, but the big corporate stores, like Walmart, Home Depot, etc. are allowed to operate normally.

Is there some secret these big chain stores need to share with the small businesses so they can open too?

Then we have the situation at our southern border.

Many of these illegal immigrants are being released into our country even though they have tested positive for the virus, and many more are being released into the country without even being tested.

Additionally, untested immigrants and immigrant children are being jammed into holding facilities, without any concern for social distancing.

But Joe says our schools can’t open and that we’ll be lucky to be able to celebrate Independence Day with our families?

Give us a break with your hypocritic polices, Illegimate Joe!

The latest stupidness has the great and powerful “scientist,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, saying the CDC may be updating its social distancing recommendations to 3 foot spacing, since recent tests show there isn’t really much difference between distancing of 3 or 6 feet.

What?!!!

You’re kidding us, right?!

It’s been a year now, and 6 feet distancing has been the standard.

And now, after a whole year, you’re saying 3 feet is OK?!

So, where did the whole 6 feet thing come from in the first place?

Either it’s proven science or it’s not.

Fool us once, shame on you, Fauci…, fool us twice, three times, four time, five times…, shame on the fools who keep listening to you!

Perhaps the most egregious practice, and most cruel practice, in my opinion, is disallowing visitors into hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

If masks really work, why can’t visitors just wear a mask?

If masks don’t really work (I’m going with this option), why can’t they come up with some other breathing apparatus, or some kind of suit, a visitor could wear to make their visit safe?

Forcing people to recover alone, and in many cases die alone, without having the chance to see their loved ones, should not have even been an option. This practice is just plain evil.  There’s no other word for it.

If the person is dying already, what difference does it make if they get the virus?

I can’t believe that this policy has been allowed to stand this long.

Overall, it seems many people in this country (democrats mostly) have lost any semblance of common sense.

The cure cannot be worse than the problem.

Wake up America!

Covid craziness!

I’ve got a real problem with all of the hypocrisy and double standards being thrust upon us by “the experts,” and various dictatorial governors in our country, regarding their response to the China virus.

For instance…, why is it okay to pack people onto a plane, or into an airport during “the pandemic,” but not okay to responsibly attend church, responsibly attend a funeral, attend a wedding, or even just visit someone in a hospital?

amasks2 1

If you’ve been on a plane, you know you can’t even sit in your seat without physically coming in contact with the people sitting next to you in many cases, unless you’re in first class.

amasks2 2

And wearing a mask is not even mandated on planes by the CDC!

What?!

amasks2 16

amasks2 13

amasks2 17

How is this okay?

Is this what you call “following the science?”

Why is it okay to pack people onto a plane during “the pandemic,” gather in groups of thousands to “protest,” or pack into a Walmart, but it’s not okay to responsibly go to a gym, attend a sporting event, or go to school, in most places?

amasks2 7

The two owners of the Atilis gym, in Bellmawr, New Jersey, have been ordered to pay $130,000 for defying Governor Murphy’s executive closure order there, and they are being fined an additional $15,000 each day that it remains open in violation of the governor’s order.

amasks2 9

amasks2 10

This after their gym doors were boarded-up by the state and their water and electric were shut off.

amasks2 11

Is this gym really that much of a China virus deathtrap?

amasks2 15

And this is happening in America?

amasks2 8

It seems like this is becoming more an issue of governmental control rather than an issue of public health.

amasks2 14

Now we hear, according to Amy McGorry of Fox news, “The odds of catching novel coronavirus on an airplane with infected passengers appear to be relatively small, though still possible, according to a new report.”

“The report is consistent with other research findings, one expert told Fox News.”

Ahhh, the anonymous “expert.”

But what is this “novel” coronavirus term?  This is the first time I’ve heard the word “novel” used in conjunction with the China virus.

According to Baton Rouge General, a part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, “Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. A ‘novel’ coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.”

“Dr. Aaron Glatt, chief of Infectious Diseases of Mount Sinai in New York, told Fox News that, “Airplane trips, especially if they are of a longer duration, have the potential to transmit infection from an infected person to the people sitting in their immediate vicinity.”

Reeeeally?!

amasks2 12

Well, thank you for that bit of expert analysis, professor!

‘“If one chooses to fly during the pandemic, I recommend that people mask and social distance as possible in the airport and on the plane. Certainly, someone ill or recently exposed to COVID should not be traveling on a plane,’ Glatt said.”

Now, there is some reasonable and common sense advice.

Why can’t we apply this advice to any of our activities involving social gathering?

What if we take the Dr.’s advice and apply it to going to the gym?

It would sound like this:

If one chooses to go to a gym during the pandemic, I recommend that people mask and social distance as possible in the gym. Certainly, someone ill or recently exposed to COVID should not be going to the gym.

Now, doesn’t that sound reasonable?

Like I said…, we can apply this advice to any social scenario, and life could go on like it always has.

I hate to say “I told you so,” but…

… I told you so!

abs 6

abs 5

“You have to follow the science!” they all cried.

abs 3

abs 1

“This virus can survive on surfaces for up to 6 hours the scientists declared!”

abs 12

Then, later, they said, “Well, the virus really doesn’t live long on surfaces or gets transferred that way as a rule.”

Then we have the whole mask thing.  For months, scientists said wearing a mask was required…, then they said the benefits from wearing a mask were debatable.

abs 20

But now we hear Science’s piece de resistance.

Now we get Science’s great big “oooops.”

Drumroll, please…

“The asymptomatic spread of coronavirus is ‘very rare,’ The World Health Organization (WHO) says.”

WAIT…, WHAT?!

amasks 6

OH, NO, those words just didn’t come out of some WHO doctor/expert/scientist’s filthy mouth!

abs 19

William Feuer and Noah Higgins-Dunn of CNBC report that, “Preliminary evidence from the earliest outbreaks indicated the virus could spread even if people didn’t have symptoms.”

“But the WHO says that while asymptomatic spread can occur, it is ‘very rare.’”

abs 24

So, let me get this straight.

We shut down our economy, we lost 40 million jobs, we spent trillions and trillions of dollars, we imprisoned ourselves for months, we were kept from contact with loved ones in the hospital, we were kept from contact with our loved ones when they died, we were not allowed to gather for weddings, funerals, graduations…, because of something that occurs “very rarely?”

abs 16

abs 2

I mean, people were viewed as potential murderers for daring to walk around without a mask…, all because people were misled by the “scientists/doctors/experts.”

abs 25

Like I said…, I hate to say “I told you so,” but I told you so.

abs 15

If you refer to my prior blogs about the virus, you’ll see I was skeptical about the Armageddon-like media hype and propaganda from the very beginning.

abs 16

Following common sense is always preferred to following “science.”

We see proof of this again, and again, and again.

I hate to blow my own horn, but I knew this day would come and that I would be able to call out the liberals and their scientists/doctors/experts for what they really are…, SCAM ARTISTS and LIBERAL TOOLS.

Please note that global warming/climate change crowd has their own collection of scientists/doctors/experts who really are SCAM ARTISTS and LIBERAL TOOLS, as well.  Just thought I’d throw that in there.

abs 21

OK…, back to the virus!

‘“Coronavirus patients without symptoms aren’t driving the spread of the virus,’ World Health Organization officials said Monday, casting doubt on concerns by some researchers that the disease could be difficult to contain due to asymptomatic infections.”

‘“From the data we have, it still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual,’ Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said at a news briefing from the United Nations agency’s Geneva headquarters. ‘It’s very rare.’”

abs 8

Well, thank you Dr. Van Kerkhove…, thank you very much.

And what the hell is “zoonosis,” anyway?

I’ve never heard of this before, so I looked it up.  It turns out “zoonosis” deals with “diseases which can be transmitted between humans and animals.”

Anyway…, ‘“What we really want to be focused on is following the symptomatic cases,’ Van Kerkhove said. ‘If we actually followed all of the symptomatic cases, isolated those cases, followed the contacts and quarantined those contacts, we would drastically reduce’ the outbreak.”

So, governments and people should be treating this disease just like we treat every other disease, huh?

Hmmm, that’s odd.

abs 11

“More research and data are needed to ‘truly answer’ the question of whether the coronavirus can spread widely through asymptomatic carriers,’ Van Kerkhove added.”

Ah, yes!

The old cry of the scientists/doctors/experts that “more research and data are needed!”

Again…, that’s odd!

Because we all know, there can NEVER be enough research and there can NEVER be enough data.

“If asymptomatic spread proves to not be a main driver of coronavirus transmission, the policy implications could be tremendous.”

REEEEEEEAAAAAALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

abs 18

And like I said before, could these “implications” include:

Shutting down our economy?

Losing 40 million jobs?

Spending trillions and trillions of dollars we don’t have?

Imprisoning ourselves for months?

Being kept from contact with loved ones in the hospital?

Being kept from contact with our loved ones when they died?

Being not allowed to gather for weddings, funerals, and graduations?

All because of something that occurs “very rarely?”

abs 14

Somebody please give William Feuer and Noah Higgins-Dunn the coronavirus booby prize of the month!

“Tell ‘em what they’ve won, Chuck!”

“Well, Mr. Erickson…, William Feuer and Noah Higgins-Dunn have won an all-expenses-paid trip to Wuhan, China…, the birthplace of the virus!

abs 9

abs 10

“That’s exciting, Chuck!  Maybe we could afford to send some of our liberal mayors and blue state governors along with them…, you know, as like a consolation prize?! And we could send a fake news media entourage along as well to cover the whole thing!

Aren’t I just loaded with good ideas?!

Please help me promote myself, Mr. Erickson, as a potential senior advisor in President Trump’s next administration…, so I can help President Trump make America great again!
