According to Brian Flood of Fox News, “CNN raised eyebrows on Tuesday by declaring ‘there is no consensus criteria for assigning sex at birth’ in a straight-news report on issues regarding transgender athletes playing women’s sports.”
Is CNN even capable of filing a “straight-news report” at this point?

“The article by CNN breaking news and politics reporter Devan Cole headlined, ‘South Dakota’s governor issues executive orders banning transgender athletes from women’s sports.’ Noted South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, R., banned transgender girls and women from competing in women’s sports with a pair of executive orders.”

“Cole reported the executive orders ‘do not explicitly mention transgender athletes,’ but instead ‘echo of the transphobic claim, cited in other similar legislative initiatives, that transgender women are not women.’”
Sooo, if the executive orders “do not explicitly mention transgender athletes,” why does Cole’s title read, “South Dakota’s governor issues executive orders banning transgender athletes from women’s sports?”

“The CNN reporter noted the reference to ‘biological sex,’ is disputed by critics before penning the fifth paragraph of the report that shocked some readers.”
Who are these very confused critics who dispute “biological sex?”
‘“It’s not possible to know a person’s gender identity at birth, and there is no consensus criteria for assigning sex at birth,’ CNN’s Cole wrote.”
Oh, really?

I would say a penis with testicles or no penis with testicles is a pretty clear criteria for assigning sex at birth.
“The line caught the attention of many readers, and The Daily Caller’s Mary Margaret Olohan pointed out it was a blanket statement without a source or quotes.”
‘“Remember when the propaganda outlet CNN ran an ad campaign about ‘facts’ called ‘this is an apple, this is a banana?’ Maybe they should work on ‘this is a penis, this is a vagina,’ Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway responded.”

‘“We live in a literal clown world where the elites pretend not to know what it means to be a man or a woman. The only way to maintain your sanity is to reject this absolute nonsense everywhere you see it,’ author Allie Beth Stuckey wrote.”

Now, don’t get me wrong.
There are people born where it is not immediately apparent what sex they are.
There are people born with all sorts of abnormalities, both physical and mental, and we need to be considerate of this fact.
According to WebMD, “About 1 in 1,000 [or 0.1%] of Babies are born ‘Intersex,’ Study Finds.”
The term “intersex” refers to cases in which a newborn’s genitals make it unclear whether the child is a boy or girl.”
People who identify as “transgender” (A person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex) make up about 0.6% of the population, according to a survey from the Williams Institute in 2016.
These ARE the facts.
It is NOT a fact, according to Mx. Cole, that, “It’s not possible to know a person’s gender identity at birth, and there is no consensus criteria for assigning sex at birth.”

Please note that, “Mx.” is a new, gender neutral, title abbreviation.
I don’t want to mistakenly assume any gender for Devan Cole, here.
My position on this is that 0.1%, 0.2%, or 0.3% of the population does not get to dictate how over 99% of the population lives, or in this case, how over 50% of the population (women) are treated.
If transgender women want to compete…, fine…, let them compete against other transgender women. Don’t compromise the rights of biological women for the sake of transgender women.

If transgender women don’t want to go in a men’s restroom anymore…, fine…, give them their own transgender bathroom. Don’t compromise the rights of biological women to have their own restroom for the sake of transgender women.
People have the right to choose to “identify” as whoever or whatever they want…, but they don’t have the right to impede upon others’ rights as a result of their choices.
