I have always admired Teddy Roosevelt, even though we haven’t shared any time on this Earth.
He was the 26th President of our country, 1901-1909, and he was an amazing man and an amazing President. His story is worth learning about. I obviously am not alone in this belief, as he shares room on Mount Rushmore with Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln.
I stumbled across a recording of President Roosevelt (please take a listen at https://mrericksonrules.files.wordpress.com/2017/10/teddy.mp3), and I was able to make a connection between him and our current President, President Trump. The two have a lot in common, but especially they have in common that they were/are both a part of the Republican Party, but really more their own man, and more Independent than anything else. Also, neither of them were/are beholden to special interests, and they had/have the best interests of America and the American people at heart.
Please check out Teddy’s inaugural address as well Inaugural Address of Teddy Roosevelt. If you aren’t already an admirer of his, hopefully you will be. I have a feeling that when it’s all said and done, most of us will be admirers of President Trump as well.
