What you talkin’ ’bout Nancy!?

Here are some choice quotes by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who is a Democrat from California. Yes, she actually said these things, and no, you can’t make this stuff up.

“Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program.” (If that is actually true, that’s very sad.)

“Employers cutting hours is a good thing. It then gives that person time to pursue their dreams and passions.” (Referring to the “Un”affordable Care Act) (What if your dream is being able to afford an apartment and eat?)

“Hamas is a humanitarian organization.” (Ya, and so is ISIS!)

“We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it.” (Referring to the “Un”affordable Care Act) (Seems logical!)

“Civilization as we know it today would be in jeopardy if the Republicans win the Senate.” (Maybe that’s a good thing.)

“You cannot cut your way to deficit reduction.” (I have no words.)

“It is the worst bill in the history of the United States Congress.” (Referring to Trump’s tax cut bill)  (There are a lot to choose from.  This one is definitely not one of them.)

“No, it is the end of the world. The debate over health care is life and death. This is Armageddon.” (Again, referring to Trump’s tax cut bill) (So dramatic! Have you ever considered acting, Nancy?  I mean have you considered acting as an actual profession?)

“Those $1,000 bonuses are pathetic, insignificant, and crumbs.” (Ya, to someone who has turned earning $170,000 a year into a net worth of over $25 million.  How does that work exactly?)

“We should only deport illegal aliens if they do something illegal.” (This easier said than done!)
