Why hasn’t Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed a new special prosecutor? What is he waiting for?

Due to Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusing himself from any involvement in the Russia investigation, because of his role as a prominent campaign adviser for Donald Trump, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including potential collusion between President Trump’s campaign associates and Russian officials.

This appointment was more politically driven as opposed to there being any real evidence to justify the appointment. Suspicion seems to have been reason enough, along with a sufficient disdain for President Trump.

Today, we are faced with a growing list of potentially illegal activity by the FBI, The Obama Justice Department, Hillary Clinton, the Democrat National Committee (DNC), the Obama administration, and possibly President Obama himself.

We are faced with a growing pile of actual evidence, regarding this potentially illegal activity, and it is getting so big that it can’t be overlooked any longer.

Here we are faced with questionable behavior by the same individual, Rod Rosenstein, who appointed the current special counsel.

After declassifying the Nunes memo on Feb. 2, President Trump said that “A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves and much worse than that.” (The Washington Post)

We are faced with “a troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American people from abuses related to the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) process. More specifically, we’re faced with Obama Justice Department and FBI officials who approved the surveillance (spying on) the Trump campaign, that includes Rod Rosenstein; then-FBI Director James B. Comey; his deputy, Andrew McCabe; and then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.

It is believed that these court surveillance requests omitted key facts about the political motivations of the people supplying some of the information as well as the validity of the information. Even though they did volunteer that “the research and information was paid for by a political entity,” they failed to further disclose that they knew the “entity” was the Clinton campaign and the DNC. I guess they felt there was no need to get into too many details.  Although this was a pretty significant one.

It appears that “the swamp” has based most, if not all, of its questionable illegal activity, not to mention the appointment of Mueller, on this “dossier” (a collection of documents) that was paid for by Hillary Clinton, pumped full of false information by “Clintonistas,” and then paraded around as valid evidence by the FBI as well as by the Obama administration.

Trump has called the FBI investigation into Russia a “hoax,” a “witch hunt,” and a “taxpayer funded charade.”

Democrats have warned against any dismissals at the Justice Department in the meantime, saying such moves would trigger a constitutional crisis. I hate to tell you, but you Democrats don’t seem to need any help triggering a constitutional crisis!

I think it’s time to get a REAL investigation rolling here.

“I think it’s a disgrace what’s happening in our country,” President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “A lot of people should be ashamed of themselves, and much worse than that.”

Amen, Mr. President. Amen.
