Without question, transgender individuals should not be denied their rights…, but not at the expense of the rights of natural biological women and girls.
Is plain old common sense a thing of the past?

According to Kansas Senator Roger Marshall, M.D., for Fox News, “Biden’s gender discrimination executive order will destroy women’s sports.”
“On the very first day of his presidency, Joe Biden took one giant leap backward for women’s rights when he issued an executive order forcing schools to allow student athletes to compete in sports based on their [chosen] gender identity instead of their biological sex.”

So, you’re telling me that one feeble, and cognitively challenged old man can wipe away women’s rights with one stroke of a pen?
How can that be possible?
Are we living in America, or are we living under some “bizarro world” dictator?
“This year we will celebrate the 49th anniversary of Title IX, which expanded civil rights for women and created opportunities for female athletes to compete. We should be focused on defending women’s rights – specifically women’s athletics – and not halting progress on historical efforts over the past half-century that made it possible for girls to have equal opportunities as boys when it comes to sports.”
“For these reasons, I have joined my colleagues to introduce The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, legislation to protect athletic opportunities for female athletes. Our bill would remove the Title IX funding for schools that allow genetic boys to compete against girls.”
“Regardless of sex, everyone should have access to opportunity and the ability to find their happiness. While those who are transgender are entitled to their rights, so too are girls who are just looking for an opportunity to compete against their peers, the genetically female ones.”
Agreed.
I mean, there are transgender females…,

… and then there are transgender females.

Adam Schrader, for DailyMail.com and the Associated Press reports that, ‘“This [Biden’s executive order] is clearly a politically motivated decision to side with radical activists over female athletes like Alanna [Smith],’ [attorney, Christiana] Holcomb said.”

How did everything get turned over to radical leftist activists all of a sudden?
We’ve got radical leftists activists dictating immigration policies, environmental policies, energy (gas/oil/coal) policies, election policies, education policies, freedom of speech policies, gun ownership policies, and sexual discrimination policies, as in this case.
“The lawyer also ripped the Biden administration for ‘pushing this so-called Equality Act’ which she said will ‘gut legal protections for women.’”
‘“[It] ignores the real physical differences between men and women – and threatens women’s privacy, women’s homeless shelters and yes, even women’s sports on a national level for female athletes like Alanna,’ Holcomb said.”
Connecticut Attorney General William Tong [who is fighting against biologically female athletes, like Alanna] said, “’Transgender girls are girls and every woman and girl deserves protection against discrimination. Period.”
“Connecticut is one of 17 states that allows high school athletes to compete in sports according to their gender identity without regulation.”
‘“Having separate boys’ and girls’ sports has always been based on biological differences, not what people believe about their gender, because those differences matter for fair competition,’ Holcomb said.”
“Trans girls should have the right to compete in sports. But cisgender girls should have the right to compete and succeed, too. How do you balance that? That’s the question.’”
Well, for starters, the answer is not to take away the rights of biologically female women and girls…, that’s for sure.
I guess we just need to create another whole separate category under which transgender athletes compete against each other.
“Biden’s Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation expanded on last year’s Supreme Court Bostock v. Clayton County ruling. which protected LGBTQ people in the workplace.”
And I don’t think any fair-minded has an issue with LGBTQ protection in the workplace…, but those protections don’t cause other people to be threatened or treated unfairly as a result.
“Biden’s order called on the head of each agency to consult with the Attorney General to review ‘all existing orders, regulations, guidance documents, policies, programs’ that relate to compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.”
“The order also called on officials to ‘consider whether to revise, suspend, or rescind’ agency actions or enact new agency actions ‘as necessary to fully implement statutes that prohibit sex discrimination.’”
‘“Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports,’ Biden wrote in the order.”
I understand where this is coming from, but again, it should not be at the expense of other individuals.
“He added: ‘It is the policy of my Administration to prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation, and to fully enforce Title VII and other laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.’”
Biden’s executive order states their goal is, “prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity in school sports and elsewhere.”
The “sports” is one thing, but it’s the “elsewhere” part that should really worry everyone as well.
“Elsewhere” covers a lot of ground.
And that ground includes fitting rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, and any other type of room that would suggest some kind of privacy based on sexual orientation.
Maybe it’s time to dispense with the labels of men/boys, women/girls, and identity choices, and just differentiate by saying “people with penises” go here and “people with vaginas” go there, regardless of how you “identify” yourself.”
I hope all of you “soccer moms” who voted for democrats are happy now.
