Where’s the justice for Ashli Babbitt?!

This is my third blog concerning this matter, and my latest update.

I’m sure you’re all aware now of the status of this case, right?

No?

Well, don’t feel bad, I wasn’t either.

In fact, I had to go hunting down a lone article from NBC News, of all places, to find out what was currently going on.  There were a couple of other articles out there, but they weren’t very well publicized or easy to find.

It seems there aren’t too many “journalists” out there interested in pursuing this story very far.

Compare this to the frenzy of never-ending coverage for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Jacob Blake.

I guess Ashli is the wrong color and of the wrong political persuasion to deserve justice in the eyes of the mainstream media.

That being said…, according to Elisha Fieldstadt and Pete Williams, in an article for NBC News, “Investigators have determined the Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the U.S. Capitol riot should not be charged with any crimes, a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation told NBC News.”

So, they investigated themselves and determined they weren’t guilty?

“The Wall Street Journal first reported that police investigators have recommended the officer not be charged, although the U.S. Attorney’s Office will make the final decision on the matter.”

Translation: The officer responsibly for killing Ashli Babbitt won’t be charged.

“Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump, was shot during the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol.”

“Videos show rioters who made it into the building breaking glass on doors near the House Chamber, which were blocked haphazardly from the inside with chairs in an attempt to prevent the mob from entering. As Babbitt tried to climb through the shattered glass, she was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer who fired at her once.”

“The officer, who has not been identified by Capitol Police or investigators, ‘used clear appropriate use of force. It’s not even a close call,’ said the officer’s lawyer, Mark E. Schamel.”

Oh, this “use of force” was deemed “appropriate,” huh?

Since when is shooting an UNARMED individual appropriate for a police officer?

In fact, none of the protesters in the capitol that day were armed with any weapons.

But they were Trump supporters, so…

Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane.

How many unarmed protesters and rioters, although many were armed with weapons and explosives, were shot and killed by police over the course of months and months in many of our big cities across the country?

And why does this person get to benefit from anonymity?

Just sayin’.

‘“The broken doors and a few officers were the only things separating the mob from members of Congress, Schamel stressed. ‘I think it’s his heroism and his restraint that saved lives,’ Schamel told NBC News.”

Heroism?!!!

Restraint?!!!

I’m sorry Mr. Schamel, but your client is no hero, and you are a disgrace.

“The Department of Justice announced last month that the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia would investigate the shooting, and the officer was placed on leave.”

‘“This is routine, standard procedure whenever an officer deploys lethal force. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia is overseeing the investigation,’ a Justice Department spokesperson said at the time.”

This standard procedure doesn’t seem to apply to the officers in Minneapolis, Louisville, or Kenosha, does it?

“A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police Department said the investigation was not complete, and ‘it would be irresponsible to make an investigatory assumption or to jump to any conclusion.’”

It would appear it is already too late for that!

They have already “jumped,” and it is “irresponsible,” to say the very least.

“Babbitt was a decorated security forces controller in the Air Force and served multiple Middle East tours from 2004 to 2016.”

So, she survived “multiple Middle East Tours,” protecting our democracy, and then gets gunned down in her own country, by a Capitol police officer.

Sad.

Very sad.

“Babbitt was a loyal Fox News watcher, according to thousands of tweets to Fox News hosts, but she also engaged on social media with the conspiracy site InfoWars. In 2020, Babbitt began to tweet with QAnon accounts and use QAnon hashtags.”

So, what?!

Are you saying this information is, somehow, some kind of validation for her murder?

If not, why even go there?

Again, sad.

Very sad.

It’s been over two and a half months now, and there still has been no justice for Ashli Babbitt.

Her family does have a lawyer, however, and we’ll just have to wait and see if he is able to make any headway against the powers that be.

Don’t hold your breath.

I’m sure the democrats want to stretch this cover-up out, much like the Jeffrey Epstein matter, hoping it will just fade away.

But some of us will not allow this to just “fade away.”

I’ll continue to keep you posted.

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

Let me tell you what’s up with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

According to Edmund DeMarche of Fox News, “Former President Trump told Fox News that he expressed concern over the crowd size near the Capitol days before last month’s deadly riots and personally requested 10,000 National Guard troops be deployed in response.”

Didi you get that?

“FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP TOLD FOX NEWS THAT HE EXPRESSED CONCERN OVER THE CROWD SIZE NEAR THE CAPITOL DAYS BEFORE LAST MONTHS (deadly?) RIOTS AND PERSONALLY REQUESTED 10,000 NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS BE DEPLOYED IN RESPONSE!”

“[President] Trump told ‘The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton’ that his team alerted the Department of Defense days before the rally that crowds might be larger than anticipated and 10,000 national guardsmen should be ready to deploy. He said that — from what he understands — the warning was passed along to leaders at the Capitol, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — and he heard that the request was rejected because these leaders did not like the optics of 10,000 troops at the Capitol.’”

‘“So, you know, that was a big mistake,’ he said.”

I think that’s being generous, Mr. President.

“Pelosi’s office and the Defense Department did not immediately respond to an email inquiry from Fox News.”

Hmmm, that’s odd.

Not!

“Trump told Steve Hilton, the show’s host, that he ‘hated to see what unfolded on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol.’”

“Much of what led to the riot at the Capitol remains a mystery.”

And that’s just the way the democrats like it.

“Last week, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told a bipartisan Senate panel that he didn’t know then that his officers had received a report from the FBI’s field office in Norfolk, Virginia, that forecast, in detail, the chances that extremists could bring ‘war’ to Washington the following day.”

“His officers received a report?”

Which officers, exactly?

From who…, exactly?

I mean what was their name?

And the Capitol Police Chief was not informed about this?

Who failed to inform him…, exactly?

I mean what was their name?

The FBI’s field office is saying that “extremists could bring ‘war’ to Washington the following day,” and the Capitol Police do nothing with that information?

Really?

“The head of the FBI’s office in Washington has said that once he received the Jan. 5 warning, the information was quickly shared with other law enforcement agencies through a joint terrorism task force.”

And, again, apparently there are no actual, real, accountable people working in these “law enforcement agencies” and this “joint terrorism task force.” They just, apparently, generically communicate with computer systems, or robots, or something.

But, based on his own recent senate testimony, this information wasn’t shared with FBI Director, Christopher Wray, however, or maybe he just “forgot.” It must be a condition that comes with the job.

Again, who failed to inform him…, exactly?

I mean what was their name?

Is no one held accountable for anything anymore?

It seems to me this whole thing could have been avoided if these people would have just done their job.

But, maybe, not doing their job was their job in this case?

“Sund and House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving also could not agree on when National Guard assistance was requested.”

“Sund said he submitted the request at 1:09 p.m. on Jan. 6. But Irving insisted he did not receive the request for National Guard support until after 2 p.m. while in former Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger’s office. When pressed, Irving said he took a call from Sund before while on the Congress floor.”

What does “after 2 p.m. mean?”

2:01 p.m.?

2:15 p.m.?

3:00 p.m.?

5:00 p.m.?

8:00 p.m.?

George Petras, Janet Loehrke, Ramon Padilla, Javier Zarracina and Jennifer Borresen, of USA TODAY, report that, “Here is how events unfolded [on Jan. 6]. Times are estimates.

“6 a.m. – Crowds of Trump supporters, estimated in the thousands, prepare for a pro-Trump rally near the Ellipse. Many began gathering the night before.”

“11 a.m. – [President] Trump’s “Save America Rally” begins first with the President’s sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr., then his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. Trump starts speaking at about 11:50 a.m. and speaks for more than an hour.

12:15 – Some of the huge crowd heads over towards the Capitol.

“1 p.m. – Lawmakers gather for a joint session in the House of Representatives chamber to count Electoral College votes.”

Again, remember, “Sund said he submitted the request at 1:09 p.m. on Jan. 6. But Irving insisted he did not receive the request for National Guard support until after 2 p.m. while in former Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger’s office. When pressed, Irving said he took a call from Sund while on the Congress floor.”

Don’t you think, even at the earlier time, this was a little late to be requesting troops?

Well, not if you wanted to appear as if you called in help, but not before the protesters did enough to satisfy the “insurrection” narrative.

“1:10 p.m. – Rioters begin grappling with police on the Capitol steps.”

“1:26 p.m. – Capitol police order evacuation of Library of Congress, Madison Building and Cannon House Office Building on Independence Avenue across from the Capitol.”

“1:40 p.m. – D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser orders citywide curfew starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday and ending at 6 a.m. Thursday. CNN reports District police are asking for more law enforcement.”

Gee, thanks for your support, Mayor.

“2:11 p.m. – Rioters breach police lines on the west side of the Capitol.”

“2:22 p.m. – Reports say Vice President Mike Pence has been escorted out of the Senate chamber.”

“2:33 p.m. – C-SPAN reports rioters have crossed Statuary Hall, the chamber that separates the House and Senate, heading for the House and Senate.”

“2:38 p.m. – [President] Trump tweets, ‘Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!’”

Sounds like something someone inciting a riot would say.

“2:44 p.m. – Shots are reported fired in the House chamber.”

“2:47 p.m. – Huffington Post reporter tweets image of rioters at the dais. ‘They’re in the chamber.’”

We did see some members of the Capitol Police opening barricades for some protesters (just the ones they wanted), waving them through, and other capitol police doing nothing as protesters walked down hallways, and meandered leisurely through the Congressional chambers.

“3:03 p.m. – Rioters are photographed on the Senate floor.”

In most cases, there were more people taking pictures of the rioters in the Capitol building than there were rioters! You could make the case that this was the most well documented “insurrection” in history.

That would jive with my take on the whole event.

“3:13 p.m. – Trump tweets: ‘I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!’”

Again, sounds like something someone inciting a riot would say.

“3:34 p.m. – CBS reports a woman is in critical condition after being shot in the neck inside the Capitol. Police later report the woman died. She was identified as Ashli Babbitt, 35, an Air Force veteran.”

“3:51 p.m. – The District of Columbia National Guard, about 1,100 troops, is mobilized to support local law enforcement.”

This is only about three hours after they would have helpful.

“4:17 p.m. – In a tweeted video lasting just over a minute, Trump says, in part: ‘I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. …  So, go home. We love you, you’re very special. … I know how you feel. But go home and go home in peace.’”

“8 p.m. – Congress reconvenes to resume counting Electoral College votes.”

Oh, yes…, above all else we must get those Electoral College votes counted, certifying Illegitimate Joe as the next president.

“Aftermath: Five believed dead, at least 68 arrested.”

Around 200 would eventually be arrested.

None with weapons charges, that were in the Capitol.

Soooo, our Capitol was breached and occupied by an unarmed group of people?

Quite a brutal “insurrection!”

“D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said that, in addition to the woman shot by Capitol police, two men and one woman died in ‘separate medical emergencies.’ At least 14 of Contee’s officers were injured during the demonstrations, he said.”

“Police identified the woman shot and killed [by a U.S. Capitol Police officer] during the riot as Ashli Babbitt, 35, of San Diego, who was a military veteran.”

“A U.S. Capitol Police officer died Thursday after being injured when supporters of President Donald Trump raided the Capitol building on Wednesday, bringing the total number of fatalities to five.”

“Brian D. Sicknick ‘was injured while physically engaging with protesters’ on Wednesday, USCP said in a statement. He returned to his division office and collapsed, then was taken to a local hospital where he died Thursday evening.”

“The other three who perished that day were Benjamin Phillips, 50, from Ringtown, Pennsylvania; Kevin Greeson, 55, from Athens, Alabama; and Rosanne Boyland, 34, from Kennesaw, Georgia. Contee said Thursday all three died on Capitol grounds, but he didn’t specify how.”

“Howard Charles Liebengood, a US Capitol Police officer, died while off-duty on Saturday, according to a statement released Sunday by the Capitol Police and the White House. The department did not disclose the cause of the officer’s death, but The Washington Post and other news sources citing a family spokesperson said he died by suicide.”

Sooo, the ONLY person who died in the Capitol building was an unarmed protester, who was shot by the Capitol Police. This murder is still “under investigation,” by the way.

This officer obviously didn’t get the memo and thought this was a real “insurrection.”

DeMarche, of Fox News, continues by saying, “Sund and Irving disagreed on when the National Guard was called and on requests for the guard beforehand. Sund said he spoke to both Stenger and Irving about requesting the National Guard in the days before the riot, and that Irving said he was concerned about the ‘optics’ of having them present. Irving denied that, saying Sund’s account was ‘categorically false.’”

Ohhh, Irving was “concerned about the optics” of having the National Guard present.

Excuse me, but WHO THE HELL IS THIS IRVING TO BE MAKING THIS TYPE OF DECISION?!

Do you really thing that Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving has this kind of authority?

It’s very obvious that either Sund or Irving are lying…, and my money is on Irving.

Do you really think that Nancy Pelosi would allow any of these Capitol security decisions to be made without her blessing or direction?

Do you really think that Nancy Pelosi was unaware of any of the possible security threat intel or President Trump’s request for National Guard troops?

Do you really think that?

I don’t think you can possibly think that.

“Republicans have signaled that evidence could show that Democrat leaders were aware of the threat and did little to prevent the Jan. 6 attack.”

Okay…, now we’re getting somewhere!

THE REAL QUESTION IS, WHY WOULD DEMOCRAT LEADERS, WHO WERE AWARE OF THE THREAT, DO LITTLE TO PREVENT THE EVENTS OF JAN.6?

I believe the answer is very simple.

THE DEMOCRATS WANTED THE CAPITOL TO BE BREACHED!

And why would they want that you might ask?

Well, there are multiple reasons, in my opinion.

One…, this would enable another impeachment of President Trump via their fabricated incitement claims.

Two…, this would justify establishing a police state around the Capitol.

And, three…, this would lay the foundation for their demonization of Trump supporters, allowing them to classify Trump supporters as “domestic terrorists.”

“Pelosi said the commission will ‘investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex … and relating to the interference with the peaceful transfer of power.’”

I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict this commission will do little more than muddy the waters and cover-up what really occurred.

But really, which scenario is more plausible?

The most powerful country in the world having it’s capitol overrun and occupied by a bunch of unarmed protesters in a matter of minutes, or the scenario I’m suggesting?

“[President] Trump said he hated to see the riot but compared it to unrest that occurred in cities like Portland and Seattle.”

‘“I hate to see any of that, but it is a double standard,’ he said.”

It is definitely a double standard, Mr. President, and I would tend to agree with your comparison…, except the riots in Portland and Seattle, and elsewhere, lasted for months, not a couple of hours…, and the Capitol riot was not supported, and encouraged, by democrats, like the Portland and Seattle riots were.

So, how’s that “investigation” going?

I’m sorry.

That question could be applied to many, supposed, “on-going investigations.”

The “investigation” I am specifically referring to here is the “investigation” of the UNARMED, 14-year Air Force veteran who was gunned down in cold blood by the Capitol police force.

Please refer to my initial blog from January 12, 2021, on this subject.

It’s been three weeks now and I haven’t heard another word about it.

That’s odd.

Well, not really.

Who was responsible for the shooting?

Have they been suspended?

Have they been fired?

How come we don’t know anything about the killer?

How many other Capitol police officers were there and involved in the shooting?

In the cases of other cops shooting unarmed individuals, or killing/harming them in some other manner (George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Jacob Blake), we knew the identities of all of the cops involved the next day.

So, what’s up in this case?

I guess the Capitol police and the DC Police get special treatment for some reason.

Maybe it’s because they protect our elite and privileged politicians?

They’re not like the police who are supposed to protect all of us everyday citizen peons out here.

Just to recap what happened, in case your memory is beginning to fade:

According to Jaclyn Peiser and Justin Jouvenal for The Washington Post, “When a group of pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol and smashed windows on Wednesday, a woman jumped onto a pane and started through.”

“Seconds later, a gunshot rang out and the woman, who had a Trump flag tied around her waist, tipped back and fell onto the marble floor as blood spilled from her shoulder.”

‘“They shot a girl!’ someone yelled as the crowd ran out of the southeast entrance.”

“She died later that day, police said.”

“The woman was 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt, a California native and Air Force veteran, her former husband told The Washington Post.”

“Police have not yet confirmed Babbitt’s identity or confirmed details about how she was shot. The woman was shot by U.S. Capitol Police, D.C. Police Chief Robert J. Contee III told reporters.”

“Babbitt, a native of San Diego, served in Afghanistan and Iraq in the Air Force before other deployments with the National Guard to Kuwait and Qatar, ex-husband Timothy McEntee told The Post.”

So, when do the protests for Ashli start?

Are players in the upcoming Super Bowl going to have her name on the back of their helmets?

I want some answers…, and I’m sure many of the 74 million people who voted for President Trump do as well.

I’ll keep you posted.

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

The “storm” is here.

So, how’s that investigation of the capitol protest murder going?

You know…, the one where an UNARMED, 14-year Air Force veteran was gunned down in cold blood by the Capitol police force.

Wait…, where did her gun go?

Where did her knife go?

Where did any kind of weapon she had go?

She did have a weapon on her didn’t she?

They are not saying they shot and killed an unarmed protester are they?

I can’t wait to hear how they spin this murder…, if they even bother to spin it at all.

Good thing for the Capitol police she wasn’t black!

Can anyone say “Breonna Taylor?”

How many athletes are going to have the name “Ashli Babbitt” on their helmets or uniforms?

Don’t hold your breath.

‘“They shot a girl!’ someone yelled as the crowd ran out of the southeast entrance.”

“She died later that day, police said.”

“The woman was 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt, a California native and Air Force veteran, her former husband told The Washington Post. Before her death in the Capitol, she had used her social media to express fervent support for President Trump and echo many of the president’s conspiracy theories and false claims of mass voter fraud.”

So, your attempting to somehow justify her death?

Excuse me, Ms. Peiser and Mr. Jouvenal, but many of The President’s “conspiracy theories” have turned out to be very true…, like when he said he was being bugged, or that the whole Russian collusion investigation was a hoax, or when he claimed his impeachment proceedings were just a witch hunt.  Remember those ”conspiracies?”

And “false claims of mass voter fraud?” There are hundreds and hundreds of sworn affidavits, by election workers, documenting “mass voter fraud…, so I would hardly dismiss them so easily as “false.”

We do have to remember that this article is from the liberal propaganda, fake news, Washington post, however.

“Police have not yet confirmed Babbitt’s identity or confirmed details about how she was shot. The woman was shot by U.S. Capitol Police, D.C. Police Chief Robert J. Contee III told reporters on Wednesday.”

“Babbitt, a native of San Diego, served in Afghanistan and Iraq in the Air Force before other deployments with the National Guard to Kuwait and Qatar, ex-husband Timothy McEntee told The Post.”

And she ends up getting shot and killed in her own country, in her own country’s Capitol building, by the police there.

Sad.

“McEntee and Babbitt met in the Air Force and were married for 14 years, before splitting in May 2019.”

“In an interview with San Diego station KUSI, Babbitt’s husband said she was a passionate Trump supporter [an inexcusable crime]. McEntee echoed those sentiments, adding that she was ‘very loud and opinionated, but caring, sweet, thoughtful, loving.’”’

“You would never forget meeting her,’ he wrote.”

“On social media, Babbitt recorded combative videos [“combative” only if you’re for open borders] about immigration policy, while expressing her support for a border wall. In early September, she tweeted a picture from a Trump boat parade in San Diego wearing a shirt that said, ‘We are Q,’ referring to QAnon, the far-right conspiracy theory. The tweet also included the hashtag ‘#WWG1WGA,’ an acronym used by supporters who believe in the claims that Trump was battling a group of ‘deep state’ child abusers.”

Please recall Jeffrey Epstein, Pedophile Island, and how the names of all of those child abusers are being covered up.  This is far, very far, from a wild conspiracy theory.

“In one of her final posts, she responded to a tweet saying many flights to D.C. were canceled because of weather. ‘The entire world is corrupt,’ the person said.

“In response, Babbitt wrote: ‘Nothing will stop us … they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours … dark to light!’”

Yes, Ashli, I think you were right…, “the storm is here.”
