You can add crude oil to the list of things some “scientists” would have you believe they have figured out.

“Oil that is…, black gold…, Texas tea.”

When you get right down to it, there isn’t a heck of a lot that “scientists” really “know.”

There’s a lot they’d like you to think they know, but in the end it’s mostly educated guesses…, and uneducated guesses.

aoil 3

We see these educated and uneducated theories and guesses passed off as facts most of the time.

When reading textbooks or listening to the news, we never hear these “scientists” say, “We believe that …” or “It’s our theory that…”

I’m talking about global warming (now called “climate change” since the warming part is a hard sell), the creation of the universe, the evolution of life on Earth, and what’s inside the Earth.

aoil 5

Now don’t get me wrong…, I’m not anti-science…, I love science.  I just don’t like it when wishful thinking is passed off as science, and this wishful thinking is then used as propaganda to support liberal fairy tale narratives.

Regarding oil, one of the “fossil fuels,” “scientists” have spun a pretty wild tale, it seems.

aoil 2

In an article titled, “The Mysterious Origin and Supply of Oil,” by Ker Than, for the LiveScience website, Than says, “… some experts [are]  predicting that the end of oil is near, scientists still don’t know for sure where oil comes from, how long it took to make, or how much there is.”

Wait…, what?

What was that?

“Scientists still don’t know for sure where oil comes from, how long it took to make, or how much there is?”

Really?

But they feel safe “predicting that the end of oil is near.”

Again…, “Scientists still don’t know for sure where oil comes from, how long it took to make, or how much there is?”

Well, you could’ve fooled me!

I was under the impression that “scientists” knew all there was to know about oil in the Earth.

Hmmm.

aoil 1

Soooo, it’s called a “fossil fuel” even though “fossils” may have nothing to do with it?

See what I mean?

Ker Than continues by saying, “A so-called ‘fossil fuel,’ petroleum [oil] is believed by most scientists to be the transformed remains of long dead organisms. The majority of petroleum is thought to come from the fossils of plants and tiny marine organisms. Larger animals might contribute to the mix as well.”

“Nature has been transmuting dead life into black gold [or natural gas] for millions of years using little more than heat, pressure and time, scientists tell us.”

That sounds like a statement of fact without any caveats to me.

Again…, see what I mean?

aoil 4

“The idea that petroleum is formed from dead organic matter is known as the ‘biogenic theory’ of petroleum formation and was first proposed by a Russian scientist almost 250 years ago.”

“In the 1950’s, however, a few Russian scientists began questioning this traditional view and proposed instead that petroleum could form naturally deep inside the Earth [the abiogenic theory].”

They say, “Both processes for making petroleum likely require thousands of years,” although, here again, they really have no clue how long it takes, or if either of these theoretical processes are even responsible for the creation of oil at all.

According to an article on the ScienceDaily website, “Estimates of how much crude oil we have extracted from the planet vary wildly. Now, researchers have published a new estimate in the International Journal of Oil, Gas and Coal Technology that suggests we may have used more than we think.”

“Now, John Jones in the School of Engineering, at the University of Aberdeen, UK, says that we have used at least 135 billion barrels of oil since 1870, the period during which J.D. Rockefeller established The Standard Oil Company and began drilling in earnest.”

“However, in 2005, The Oil Depletion Analysis Centre (ODAC) [Is that really a thing?] in London provided a total figure of almost 1 trillion barrels of crude oil (944 billion barrels) since commercial drilling began.”

There are 42 gallons in a barrel, and I’m pretty good at math, so that would equate to around 42 trillion gallons.

That’s a lot of “fossils of plants and tiny marine organisms.”

And that’s only what we have used so far.

From the World Ocean Review website, “Gas and oil form in the sea over a period of millions of years [Oh, now it’s millions of years?], as the remains of animals and plants sink to the ocean floor. Combined with particles flushed from the land, they are buried and compressed into layers of sediment several kilometers thick on the ocean floor.”

Excuse me, but when does this stuff stop sinking to the ocean floor so it can become buried?  Isn’t this happening continually?  Just sayin’.

“Aided by the Earth’s pressure and temperature conditions, bacteria convert the biomass into precursor substances from which hydrocarbons are ultimately formed. These hydrocarbons can permeate certain layers of rock and sediment as they move up towards the surface, in a process called migration. In some cases they become trapped in impermeable layers of rock, which is where the actual deposits are ultimately formed. Depending on the ambient conditions, oil or natural gas develops. Today’s sources of fossil fuels are between 15 and 600 million years old.”

“Between 15 and 600 million years old,” huh? Well, that’s really narrowing it down!

“During this period the continental plates shifted, transforming oceans into landmasses, with the result that mineral deposits can be found both on land and at sea. Oil and gas are usually found where vast layers of sediment cover the ocean floor.”

So there you have it.  Perfectly explained as if it were proven fact…, which it is not.  This whole previous paragraph should have begun with the words, “Once upon a time” for all it is worth.

Again…, I’m not anti-science…, I love science.  I just don’t like it when these “scientists” pretend to know more than they do, then throw their science fiction stories out there as “the truth.”

If these scientists are so smart they should know better.

“SOME HAVE ARGUED THAT A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE,” Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said.

SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM HERE???!!!

Marie Yovanovich can cry all she wants about losing her job…, a job she apparently feels entitled to, but the bottom line is…,

“SOME HAVE ARGUED THAT A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE,” Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said.

ayovan 4

In other words, President Trump doesn’t have to have any particular reason for replacing Ms. Yovanovich.  Maybe he didn’t like her looks.  Maybe he didn’t like her attitude.  Maybe whatever.

ayovan 8

Again…,

“SOME HAVE ARGUED THAT A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE,” Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said.

SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE???!!!

WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE IMPEACHMENT OF THE PRESIDENT, WHEN “SHIFTY” SCHIFF HIMSELF ACKNOWLEDGES THAT, “A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE.”

Alex Pappas of Fox News reported that, “Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, pointed her finger at Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani while detailing her sudden removal from her diplomatic post during Friday’s nationally-televised impeachment testimony, as President Trump fired back at the diplomat and said every place she worked ‘turned bad.’”

ayovan 3

“During her appearance, Yovanovitch, a career diplomat who served both Republican and Democratic presidents, relayed her story of being suddenly recalled by Trump in May, saying she believes Giuliani played a key role in telling people she was not sufficiently supportive of the president.”

ayovan 2

“SOME HAVE ARGUED THAT A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE,” Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said.

ayovan 6

‘“I do not understand Mr. Giuliani’s motives for attacking me, nor can I offer an opinion on whether he believed the allegations he spread about me,’ Yovanovitch said.”

Where is it written that Ms. Yovanovich must be able to understand the motives for anyone attacking her?

Perception is reality, Ms. Yovanovich.

“She argued the efforts against her by the president’s allies hindered her work.”

Again…, so what?  What’s your point?

‘“If our chief representative is kneecapped, it limits our effectiveness to safeguard the vital national security interests of the United States,’ Yovanovitch said.”

BINGO!

You couldn’t handle your duties effectively, for whatever reason.

Perhaps this is why you were removed?

“After the hearing started, Trump began attacking her, tweeting, ‘Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad.’ He added, ‘It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.’”

Again…, “Shifty” Schiff agrees with you Mr. President…,

“At the same time the hearing began Friday, the White House released a new transcript of the president’s first call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which showed Trump agreeing to meet with Ukraine’s president-elect — without preconditions — in the first official phone call between the two leaders.”

“Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., read the entire letter in his opening statement. A separate call between the two leaders ignited the impeachment inquiry, and Republicans suggested the new transcript is helpful to the president’s argument he did nothing wrong in his conversations with Zelensky.”

“Yovanovitch’s removal is one of several events at the center of the impeachment effort.”

SO AGAIN, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE???!!!

‘“These events should concern everyone in this room,’ Yovanovitch said in her opening remarks. ‘Shady interests the world over have learned how little it takes to remove an American ambassador who does not give them what they want.’”

ayovan 5

Again…,

“SOME HAVE ARGUED THAT A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT.  AND THAT IS TRUE,” Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said.

SO AGAIN, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE???!!!

“Democrats have worked to connect the circumstances of Yovanovitch’s ouster to Trump’s alleged pressure campaign to enlist Zelensky in the effort to damage 2020 rival Joe Biden.”

“The question before us is not whether Donald Trump could recall an American ambassador with a stellar reputation for fighting corruption in Ukraine, but why would he want to?”

Does it matter?

If you believe that, “A PRESIDENT HAS THE ABILITY TO NOMINATE OR REMOVE ANY AMBASSADOR HE WANTS, AND THAT THEY SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE PRESIDENT,” the “why” is irrelevant.

“It’s unfortunate that today, and for most of next week, we will continue engaging in the Democrats’ day-long TV spectacles instead of solving the problems we were all sent to Washington to address,” Nunes said.

In particular, Yovanovitch and others have described Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, as leading what one called an “irregular channel” outside the diplomatic mainstream of U.S.-Ukraine relations.

Giuliani and others had claimed Yovanovitch was not supportive of the president and that she had criticized him to others. Trump, in a conversation with Zelensky, referred to her as “bad news.”

Asked on Friday what she thought of those comments from Trump, she said, “I couldn’t believe it. Shocked appalled. Devastated.”

“Schiff claimed Friday she was ‘too tough on corruption for some, and her principled stance made her enemies’ and it became clear Trump ‘wanted her gone.’”

Like they would say in a real court, “Objection, your honor, that’s an opinion,” and the judge would say, “Sustained,” meaning it isn’t admissible.

Yovanovich is just another liberal tool who is confused about where her loyalty should lay.

“Lawmakers, as they have in previous meetings, on Friday clashed with each other over procedure. Before the testimony began Friday, Schiff shut down New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik after Stefanik asked if he would “continue to prohibit witnesses from answering Republican questions.” Schiff said it wasn’t a ‘proper’ point of order, and then declined to recognize Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan who also tried to raise a parliamentary question.”

ayovan 10

Such is life in the “People’s Republic of The Liberal Swamp!”

“Please step away from those flats ma’am, and put the high heels back on!”

This is something you may hear the police say at a work place in Japan!

Many Americans kind of assume that most countries around the world have the same general laws that we do here in America.

You really can’t get much further from the truth.

The laws in countries around the world can be quite different than our own.

And some of them would really surprise you!

In some countries, women aren’t treated much better than cattle.

In other countries, women are basically treated like slaves.

And in most countries, women are expected to, at least, be subservient to men.

In general, women are treated quite differently from men around the world, and not in a good way.

Let’s take a look at one country for example.

Let’s take a look at Japan.

I’m sure most Americans would consider Japan quite similar to The United States.  We’re both highly developed capitalist countries, with very high standards of living.

However, Thairy Lantigua of Fox News reports that, “A purported ban of glasses worn by female employees in Japan has sparked widespread backlash.”

ajwomen 6

“Local media reported that some companies have prohibited eye wear, with some saying that they make female employees seem ‘cold.’”

“Cold?”  I’m sure female employees in the U.S. would be understanding and sympathetic of their company’s desires!

“However, other companies like airlines claim the ban is for security reasons, while others in the beauty and fashion industries said it does not let the workers’ makeup be seen properly, the BBC reported.”

Oh, well, in that case…, we wouldn’t want to disappoint the beauty and fashion industry!

“This is not the first time Japan has caused controversy for demanding women to wear–or not wear–something specific in the workplace.”

“In March, women railed against a requirement to wear makeup, while this summer, an online petition went viral demanding a ban on mandatory dress codes for women.”

“Actress and freelance writer Yumi Ishikawa launched the petition, saying that women face health issues for [continually] wearing high-heeled shoes at work. She said she was required to wear heels at her part-time job in a funeral parlor.”

ajwomen 8

“Japan’s health minister, Takumi Nemoto, said in June that heels were ‘necessary and appropriate’ in the workplace.”

‘“It is socially accepted as something that falls within the realm of being occupationally necessary and appropriate,’ he said at the time.”

ajwomen 4

Mr. Nemoto would not be very popular in America, to say the least.

“Ms. Kumiko Nemoto, [no relation to the health minister] professor of sociology at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, told BBC News that Japan was reacting to ‘outdated’ policies and that companies are valuing women’s appearance instead of their work.’”

Oh, really…, ya think?

‘“The reasons why women are not supposed to wear glasses really don’t make sense,’ she said. ‘It’s all about gender. It’s pretty discriminatory.’”

Again…, ya think?

How about a couple more strange Japanese laws concerning women?

Like, for instance, women are legally obliged to wear bras in buildings with air conditioning.

And…, if your older brother asks to marry your girlfriend, by law, you and your girlfriend, must agree.

Weird, huh?

To my friends reading in Japan…, I apologize for putting some of your laws and culture in a negative light, but it appears that many of your own are questioning some of these laws as well.

As well they probably should.

Although I’m sure that some of our laws, here in the states, may cause people in other countries to cringe as well.

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

What do you call government employees who are working against our president?

Un-American?

Anti-American?

Treasonous?

How about traitors?

During this whole impeachment “inquiry” process, I find it amazing to see how brazenly political and unapologetic these unelected government workers are in their opposition to our president, President Donald J. Trump.

aemps 4

Disagreeing with the policies of our president is one thing, but disregarding his wishes, plotting resistance to him behind his back and generally trying to impede his progress is treasonous in my mind.

aemps 3

These government employees are quite mistaken if they think they are acting in the best interests of our country.

aemps 10

They were not elected by anyone.

President Trump was elected by the people to represent us and do what he thinks is in the best interests of our country.

If anyone is working against him, they are working against us and the country.

They are by definition committing treason and should be charged as such.

Merely losing their jobs should go without saying.

According to Charles Creitz of Fox News, “White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham slammed the House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry Wednesday, suggesting that Foreign Service officials should resign if unprepared to carry out orders based on President Trump’s constitutionally recognized powers.”

“Grisham told ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ host Tucker Carlson he was correct when he claimed a number of State Department officials did not seem on board with Trump’s brand of foreign policy.”

‘“There is no reason that anybody in our government across our administration should be actively working against the president, especially a president that is doing so well for the country,’ Grisham said.”

“In response, Carlson said his interpretation of the Constitution tells him that ‘legitimacy comes from votes’ in a democracy, so the president, as elected head-of-state, has the power to determine foreign policy.”

‘“Aren’t they constitutionally bound to carry out the foreign policy of the president?’ he asked of Foreign Service officials.”

‘“Absolutely,’ Grisham replied. ‘If they aren’t ready to do that then they need to resign.  It’s as simple as that.’”

Like I said before, it’s not “as simple as that.”  These people need to be held accountable for their treasonous actions.

“In addition, Grisham ripped a Chicago Democratic lawmaker who interrogated witnesses at Wednesday’s impeachment hearing.”

“Rep. Mike Quigley, D-Ill., claimed ‘hearsay’ evidence is sometimes more important than direct evidence.”

‘“A primer on hearsay: I think the American public needs to be reminded that countless people have been convicted on hearsay, because the courts have routinely allowed and created, needed exceptions to hearsay,’ he said, in an apparent reference to Republicans’ comments that witnesses George Kent and William Taylor Jr. did not have first-hand knowledge of Trump’s Ukraine phone call.”

aemps 1

I would argue they didn’t have much “knowledge” in general.

“Quigley continued: ‘Hearsay can be much better evidence than direct as we have learned in painful instances.’”

aemps 11

“Grisham dismissed the claim, telling Carlson, ‘I don’t know how that’s even possible.’”

In response, all I can say is, “Mr. Quigley…, a friend of one my friends claims to have heard one of your staffers admit that you confessed to being an idiot.”

Now there’s some hearsay I may be inclined to believe!

‘“Today was a joke [referring to the impeachment inquiry hearing],’ she [Grisham] added. ‘It was all a sham.’”

I would tend to agree Ms. Grisham.

aemps 5

What we had was a political circus, with a main event, complete with liberal clowns, however, the “stars of the show” were a real flop and not as good as they were billed to be.

aemps 8

aemps 7

The next “star” appearing in the center ring is Marie Yovanovich, who was ousted from her post (former US Ambassador to Ukraine) back in April, so she wasn’t around for many of the key events of this “impeachment fairy tale,.” but she is apparently willing to bash the president and bombard us with more opinion and hearsay.

aemps 2

WINNING!

What are we left with if we ban anything that bothers anyone?

The answer is a paralyzed hot mess.

A “free” society is not a society that is worried about an individual’s feelings above all else.

A “free” society is a society which allows and tolerates everybody’s beliefs and feelings.

anyt 14

That being said, according to Brian Flood of Fox News, “The New York Times says airing the national anthem on TV could trigger viewers who hear ‘political overtones.’”

“Trigger?”

“Political overtones?”

anyt 5

Are we getting “political overtones” confused with patriotic overtones?

What is “political” about hearing and/or seeing the national anthem unless you’re anti-American?

anyt 13

“The New York Times ‘poo-pooed’ the long-standing tradition of television stations airing The Star-Spangled Banner because some night owl viewers could be offended by the ‘politically charged’ national anthem.”

Wait…, what?

The New York Times “poo-pooed?”

Well, like I said, they are creating a “hot mess” after all.

Again…, if you’re “offended” by the national anthem and consider it “politically charged,” then you’re probably either a very confused liberal…, someone here illegally in the first place…, or you are an enemy of our country…, and in any case I’m glad you’re offended.

anyt 4

“The piece, written by culture reporter Julia Jacobs, is headlined ‘Local TV Revives a Bygone Tradition: Airing the National Anthem,’ and declares that the song can ‘be a dividing line’ for some Americans.”

anyt 1

“Culture reporter?”  Why, how snooty and pretentious of you!

“The Times [Ms. Jacobs] noted that ‘one of popular culture’s generational divides’ is whether or not you are old enough to remember the days when ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ aired on television stations. The national anthem was historically played late at night, going back to the advent of television, typically amid visuals of patriotic imagery before the station signed off until the next morning.”

Oh really?

THIS is a generational divide of our culture?

I hardly think so, seeing that most of the people under 30 don’t even watch what us older folk would consider TV per se.  They watch things on their TV, but they don’t watch typical TV channel broadcasts, or even satellite or cable for that matter.

‘“Now, the early morning hours are filled with rebroadcasts and infomercials, eliminating any practical reason for a formal sign off,’ the Times [Ms. Jacobs] wrote.”

What kind of imbecile has nothing better to worry about than whether they’re playing the national anthem on TV at 4:00 AM in the morning or not?

That’s really digging deep to promote your anti-American ways!

anyt 2

“Some stations have revived the tradition but the Times wrote that some viewers ‘might hear political overtones’ as a result. Gray Television, CBS and Nexstar Media Group have led the way, with the National Anthem now played on more than 350 stations across America, according to the Times.”

‘“The decision to revive the anthem tradition comes at a time when overt allegiance to The Star-Spangled Banner has become one of the lines that separate blue and red America,’ the Times reporter wrote.”

Why say “blue and red?”  Why not say liberals and conservatives, or democrats and republicans?

Let’s not be afraid to name those who are overtly anti-America and those who are overtly pro-America.

Let’s draw a clear line and let people choose what side they’re on.

anyt 6

“Author, Tim Young asks, ‘Should it shock anyone at this point that the New York Times is trying to get people to be outraged at the airing of the National Anthem?’”

anyt 12

‘“It’s inspiring that local news is returning our National Anthem to an important place in our culture.  It’s astonishing that The Times would see that as a bad thing,’ Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. ‘But if you pay close attention to the story, the paper admits that the left, including journalists, doesn’t like the national anthem.  That shows exactly who and what they really are.’”

Yes it does, Mr. Gainor…, yes it does.

“The paper admits that television executives haven’t heard many complaints and feedback has been ‘overwhelmingly positive,’ but that tidbit is buried roughly 1,400 words into the story.”

anyt 9

“Political satirist and author Tim Young told Fox News that this story “truly reveals the mindset” of the Gray Lady [“the Gray Lady” is a nickname for The New York Times newspaper].”

‘“Should it shock anyone at this point that the New York Times is trying to get people to be outraged at the airing of the national anthem? Their piece is written as if viewers should be skeptical of every element of the song and accompanying video,’ Young said. ‘They don’t like America and its anthem and they want you to dislike it as well.’”

anyt 11

“In the span of a week, the Washington Post calls a terrorist psychopath a ‘religious scholar’ and the Times is upset about the national anthem being played. These are supposed to be America’s top two news publications, and they seemingly hate America.”

anyt 10

What if I said I find The New York Times and The Washington Post offensive?

Would they maintain their integrity and shut down the publication of their newspapers?

Of course not.

People who find liberal speech or actions offensive are dismissed out of hand and ignored by the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media.”

In this fascist, liberal socialist world, they are promoting, the arbiters of what is deemed offensive are the ones who wield the power.

And “they…,” “the ones…,” would be the anti-Americans…, the liberals…, the democrats.

California sounds like a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

On second thought, it doesn’t really sound like a place I’d care to visit anymore either!

Don’t get me wrong, I lived in northern California for close to a year, and I loved it…, but that was over 40 years ago.

Things there sure appear to have changed.

aca 5

Besides the earthquakes, forest fires, oppressive taxes, expensive gas, poop and homeless people laying around everywhere, an out of control drug problem, and over 5 million undocumented immigrants, we now see a steep rise in shoplifting, thefts, and criminal activity across state.

Just to put some of this into perspective, there are 26 states with smaller populations than California’s illegal immigrant population!

And California is nicknamed “the golden state?”

It sounds more like a living hell to me now…, unless you’re an illegal immigrant, a welfare warrior, a drug addict, a criminal, or an elite liberal who can afford to insulate themselves from the mess they’ve helped to create.

Barnini Chakraborty of Fox News reports that, “In 2014, Prop[osition] 47 was passed to reduce certain non-violent felonies to misdemeanors in order to free up resources for cops and prosecutors to go after serious, violent offenders. Data shows that after Prop 47 passed, shoplifting and thefts increased.”

Gee…, who could have predicted that?  Apparently not any of the democrats out there in California.

aca 11

“Fox News spoke with San Francisco and Oakland shop owners about the recent rise in crime.”

“In a lighted garage on one of San Francisco’s busiest streets, a young man in baggy trousers and messy brown hair pulled down his pants. He had been hiding two pairs of stolen jeans with the tags still on them. He handed them to another man waiting nearby, took some money, pulled up his pants and headed back into another store on Market Street — home to the city’s high-end designers and big-chain retail shops.”

“These brazen acts of petty theft and shoplifting are a dangerous and all-too-common consequence of Proposition 47, a referendum passed five years ago that critics say effectively gives shoplifters and addicts the green light to commit crimes as long as the merchandise they steal or the drugs they take are less than $950 in value. The decision to downgrade theft of property valued below the arbitrary figure from felony to misdemeanor, together with selective enforcement that focuses on more ‘serious’ crimes, has resulted in thieves knowing they can brazenly shoplift and merchants knowing the police will not respond to their complaints, say critics.”

“Over in the City by the Bay’s famous Tenderloin district, Cassie, a 21-year-old mother of two and a former heroin junkie, told Fox News that when times were tough, she too has stolen from stores.”

‘“If my babies need diapers or formula, who is going to get that for me? No one. I have to do it,’ she said. ‘They ain’t out here arresting people for (shoplifting) and everyone knows it.’”

“Proposition 47 is seen by critics as one of California’s biggest blunders. Supported by the state Democratic Party and championed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the referendum was passed by a wide margin in 2014. The idea behind it was to reduce certain non-violent felonies to misdemeanors in order to free up resources for cops and prosecutors to focus on violent offenders.”

“Since Proposition 47 was passed, there has been an increase in theft across the state. Cities like San Francisco have seen organized crime rings turn shoplifting into a well-organized racket involving desperate thieves and unscrupulous black-market re-sellers.”

“Among the nation’s 20 largest cities, San Francisco now has the highest rate of property crime, which includes theft, shoplifting and vandalism.”

Wow!  You would have to say that San Francisco is a liberal policy over-achiever!

You should be in line to win some kind of award from your fearless leader, and representative, Nancy Pelosi.

“Del Seymour, founder of the non-profit Code Tenderloin, told Fox News that fencers – often from Mexico and Guatemala – set up shop in the middle of the day and night around the city’s United Nations Plaza area. He said he’s also noticed that the stealers and dealers have gotten bolder by the day. The retail heists taking place, he said, aren’t some small-time operation but instead a sophisticated network of international dealers who cross the border to buy stolen goods.”

“Seymour believes San Francisco is stuck in a cycle and, until it’s able to pull itself out, the problem will continue. Drug addicts, who are often homeless, need money for a fix so they walk into a store, steal merchandise, sell it for half the value and use the money they made to buy more drugs. Seymour added that the mayor and elected city officials have been spending too much time and money trying to coddle addicts and have done nothing to eliminate San Francisco’s drug problem.”

“The problem isn’t just San Francisco-based. Across the state, retailers say they have been hit hard by shoplifters since Prop 47 went into effect.”

“In San Diego County, 7-Eleven franchise owner Jassi Dhillon told NBC 7 that he has to deal with shoplifters at all six of his store locations.

‘“It’s happening every day, hour by hour,’ he said.”

“Dhillon said shoplifting isn’t a priority to law enforcement and said when cops do show up, the shoplifter has left the store or isn’t concerned about the citation they are issued.”

‘“It’s becoming a lifestyle for us now because we can’t do anything much except take the loss,’ he said.”

“Rachel Michelin, president of the California Retailers Association, said shoplifting is not only hurting retailers but is also ‘becoming a public safety issue for consumers.’”

“She said black-market dealers frequently cross state lines because they know California will go easy on them if caught.”

‘“They know what they’re doing. They will bring in calculators and get all the way up to the $950 limit,’ Michelin told Fox News, adding that ‘one person will go into a store, fill up their backpack, come out, dump it out and go right back in and do it all over again.’”

“Michelin said she’s seen footage from member retailers that she described as ‘completely insane.’”

‘“They will go into a grocery store, steal alcohol and walk out the front door with it. They know no one is going to prosecute them.’ — Rachel Michelin, president of California Retailers Association.”

‘“They will go into a grocery store, steal alcohol and walk out the front door with it,’ she said. ‘They know no one is going to prosecute them. The district attorneys aren’t.’”

“She added that there are even more sinister acts afoot. Many out-of-state crime rings use children to do their dirty work because they know they’re low on the totem pole of prosecutions.”

‘“There are folks that are using and exploiting children,’ she said. ‘But I also think that teenagers know that there are no consequences anymore. It’s part of a game. If you get caught, all you have to do is get out of the store.’”

‘“Law enforcement [officials] are trying to protect the streets and then they might do a sting and arrest a bunch of people but then the district attorney will drop it or downgrade the charges,’ she said.”

“It’s a frustrating dynamic for sure, but until the state finds a fix, retailers have been reaching into their own pockets to hire private security guards but even then there are no guarantees that the stealing will stop. In fact, all that private guards can do is observe and report thefts.”

“Frustrated business owners say they feel their needs are being ignored by elected officials.”

“Fox News asked Democratic Mayor London Breed’s office six separate times for an interview or to comment on this story. Her office did not respond to a single request about the growing crisis. Fox News also reached out to the district attorney’s office multiple times but did not get a response.”

Ha!  No kidding!

How dare anyone try and hold these democrats accountable for their actions?!

aca 8

They don’t feel obligated to explain themselves to me, you, or anyone else.

We are all below their level of social understanding and “enlightedness.”

aca 9

aca 6

‘“Big and small businesses are hit hard financially by these thefts, which often endanger employees and discourage law-abiding customers. SFPD is collaborating closely with local businesses and our partner agencies to deter and investigate these crimes to make our city even safer and enable businesses to prosper,’ San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said in the press release forwarded to Fox News.”

Okay, Chief.  You just keep on collaborating there while you keep on kissing the backsides of all of the “all talk and no do (at least no doing of anything positive or effective) politicians there.

As with most liberal policies, law abiding, productive citizens, receive little or no consideration.

They are just left to pay the bills and contend with the fallout of all of these great liberal ideas!

Politics will never be the same, thanks to President Trump.

President Donald Trump has shattered the mold as to how conservatives interact with the American people, the opposition, and the media.

abt 10

You may argue that “the opposition” and “the media” are one in the same thing, and I would have to grant you that…, but for the sake of this article, and its intentions, I am choosing to address them as separate entities.

I contend that due to President Trump’s complete overhauling of the way politicians, especially the president, communicate with the American people, the opposition, and the media, we should properly identify the year based on the event of President Trump’s presidential campaign and election.

President Trump showed all of the conservatives that it was OK to take a conservative stand, and not apologize for it.

aspring 9

President Trump showed all of the conservatives that it was OK to stand up to the fake news media and call them out for what they are.

averitas 2

Therefore, I am proposing that the year President Trump was elected (2016) be designated as “Year Zero.”

“Year Zero” will stand out as a miraculous year.  This is the year that Donald Trump won the presidency of the United States, despite the democrats, of course, being against him, most republicans being against him, most of the media being against him, and many countries around the world contributing millions and millions of dollars to defeat him on Hillary Clinton’s behalf.

abt 7

abt 8

abt 6

abt 5

abt 1

abt 2

abt 3

“Year Zero” was the year that average Americans stood up and said, “We’re taking a stand for ourselves and our country, and we’re not taking this same old political crap anymore!”

“Year Zero” was the first year in a long, long, time, that our president worked solely on behalf of the American people.

“Year Zero” was the first year in a long, long, time, that our president wasn’t beholden to anybody or any special interest groups, other than the American people.

“Year Zero” was the first year in a long, long, time, that our president wasn’t put our country’s concerns and the American peoples’ concerns first.

“Year Zero” was the first year in a long, long, time, that our president began to take our government back from the unelected and unaccountable, treasonous, deep state…, otherwise known as “the swamp.”

“Year Zero” should be remembered just like we remember 1776!

The years before President Trump was elected should be designated as “BT,” or “Before Trump.”

The years after President Trump was elected should be designated as “AT,” or “After Trump.”

“BT” would act as “BC” does now and “AT” would act as “AD” does now.

Soooo, 2015 would now be 1 BT, 2014 would 2 BT, etc.

2017 would be 1 AT and 2018 would be 2 AT, etc.

Using the Trump year designators would allow to put things in the proper political perspective.

For example:

The ObamaCare law went into effect 6 BT.

9/11 occurred in the year 15 BT.

We are currently in the year 3 AT.

President Trump will be re-elected in the year 4 AT.

Either Mike Pence or Ivanka Trump will be elected our 46th president in the year 8 AT.

And so on.

Let me know what you think about the idea!

Perhaps we can promote some grassroots support and make the Trump year designators a reality!

Well, well, well.  The “liberal chickens” are certainly coming home to roost, regarding the democrats’ whistleblower.

According to Victor Morton of The Washington Times, “The attorney representing the Ukraine whistleblower tweeted about starting a “coup” against President Trump that would end with his impeachment almost as soon as he took the oath of office.”

Hmmm, you don’t say?

Only 10 days after President Trump’s inauguration ceremony, “Mark S. Zaid wrote on his certified Twitter account on Jan. 30, 2017, Mr. Trump’s 11th day in power, “#coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers https://t.co/FiNBQo6v0S — Mark S. Zaid (@MarkSZaidEsq) January 31, 2017’”

azaid 16

I notice Zaid uses “Esq” in his twitter “handle,” or user name.  The usage of “Esq” seems pretty haughty.  “Esq.” is an abbreviation for esquire, which is a title used by attorneys in the United States. The term esquire has a different meaning in English Law.  It is a title used to signify dignity, which ranks above gentleman and directly below knight.            It is a title of respect accorded to men of higher social rank.

I only mention this because this is a common liberal trait…, thinking they are better than or above the rest of us…, of a “higher social rank.”

It just helps understand where Mr. Zaid Esq. is coming from.

“Mr. Zaid’s tweet was in response to the firing of Sally Yates as acting attorney general for refusing to follow Mr. Trump’s orders on immigration policy.”

It was at this point that the treasonous members of the deep state realized they weren’t running the show, and they didn’t like it!

“Mr. [President] Trump referred to the story at a campaign rally in Louisiana on Wednesday night, calling the attorney a ‘sleaze ball.’”

Nicely put, Mr. President!

‘“It’s all a hoax, it’s a scam,’ the president said.”

“According to a report on Fox News, Mr. Zaid also repeatedly crowed about how ‘we’ and the media will force Mr. Trump from office.”

‘“I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president,’ he wrote in one tweet and ‘we will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters’ in another.”

“Both tweets were posted in July 2017, almost two years before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was even in office to speak with Mr. Trump on the phone.”

“The Trump reelection campaign said the tweets prove that Democrats’ complaints about impeachable offenses have always been about bad-faith searches for a pretext.”

They also add additional proof that there actually was, and is, a treasonous deep state community that needs to be dealt with…, with extreme prejudice.

“Added Donald Trump Jr.: ‘Of course he did. Everyone knows the coup started on November 9, 2016. Quit your fake sanctimony! Everybody who’s been watching this [b.s.] for three years sees what a farce it has been all along.’”

Gregg Re of Fox News reported, “Trump hits whistleblower attorney’s 2017 plan for a ‘coup’ against his administration.”

“President Trump, at a [Keep America Great] campaign rally in Louisiana Wednesday night, unloaded on whistleblower attorney Mark Zaid, after a Fox News article from earlier in the day revealed that Zaid had tweeted about the beginning of a ‘coup’ against the president back in 2017.”

“The president extensively quoted from the article, which reported that Zaid has long called for Trump’s impeachment — even promising two years ago, ‘We will get rid of him.’”

“Zaid now represents the intelligence community whistleblower who is at the center of Democrats’ impeachment inquiry against the president. The whistleblower has alleged that, earlier this year, Trump improperly threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine for political reasons.”

‘“Democrats must be accountable for their hoaxes and their crimes,’ Trump said, holding a printout of the Fox News piece.”

‘“I don’t know if you saw, I’m just coming off the plane, and they hand me — look at this character. They just hand me this story, “’Coup has started,” whistleblower attorney said in 2017.’”

azaid 1

“Trump added: ‘That was a long time ago.  It’s all a hoax.  They say, January 2017 — a “coup has started,” and the “impeachment will follow ultimately.”  It’s all a hoax. It’s a scam. And, you know who helps them? These people back here — the media.’”

“And, amid a slew of impeachment-related posts, Zaid assured his Twitter followers that ‘as one falls, two more will take their place,’ apparently referring to Trump administration employees defying the White House.”

‘“Can you believe this?” Trump asked. ‘Just came out. It’s a disgrace. These people are bad people. They rip the guts out of our country.’”

“Trump also hammered The Washington Post, saying, ‘19 minutes after I took the oath of office, the horrible, disgusting Washington Post — which is a terrible paper — an article comes out, ‘The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.’”

‘“Is there any place you would rather be than a Trump rally, on a beautiful evening in Louisiana?’ Trump asked, as the crowd chanted, ‘lock her up,’ and cheered.”

My answer is ‘no.”  I know I enjoy your rallies, Mr. President, and I wish I could have been there.

“Over a thousand people were gathered outside the Monroe Civic Center early Wednesday morning, and over 40,000 people obtained tickets for the event!”

Now…, regarding our pathetic, “hearsay” whistleblower…, Dr. Sebastian Gorka tweeted that the alleged “whistleblower” is believed to be, one, Eric Ciaramella.

azaid 9

Parts of Mr. Ciaramella’s “illustrious resume” include:

Protégé of former CIA Director, John “the treasonous turd” Brennan.  Brennan was also the one who sent him to work in The White House during Obama’s reign.

Ciaramella also worked for Susan “the puppet” Rice.

He travelled with and advised then Vice President “sleepy, creepy” Joe Biden on The Ukraine.

Well…, you get the picture.

azaid 10

“Ciaramella.”  That sounds like some kind of sickness or disease, like salmonella!

Maybe we should adopt that name as the disease of the liberal mind?!

azaid 15

Is it just me, or do these tweezer necked, sissy boy, liberal turds all look the same?

azaid 11

The question is was there a whistleblower looking for an attorney or was there a congressman (“Shifty” Adam Schiff) and an attorney looking for a willing accomplice and a whistleblower?

I would tend to believe it was the latter.

azaid 4

azaid 8

In either case…, it appears the democrats are becoming less and less interested in allowing their whistleblower to testify or be cross examined.  I wonder why that is?

WINNING!

ABC News and the Jeffrey Epstein case…, just another example of “the fake news media” tailoring what “news” they want you to hear…, or to not hear!

In this recent case, we have learned that ABC News quashed a story about Jeffrey “Mr. Pedophile” Epstein and his perverted partners in crime, Bill “Slick Willie” Clinton and “Britain’s finest,” Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.

aep 4

Appearing in supporting roles were George Stephanopoulos (former White House Communications Director and Senior advisor to the president under Bill Clinton, and now chief anchor and political correspondent on ABC) and Alan Dershowitz (a prominent lawyer who was on the defense teams for O.J. Simpson, Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein).

aep 8

aep 9

You obviously lean towards those with quite a high “sleaze factor” when selecting your clients, don’t you, Mr. Dershowitz?!

According to Brian Flood of Fox News, “ABC News anchor Amy Robach was caught on a hot mic claiming ‘network honchos’ killed a story that would have exposed claims that now-deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein forced an alleged victim to have sex with Prince Andrew.”

aep 6

“Network honchos,” huh?

More like “network puppets/tools.”

Don’t these “people” and their enablers just make you sick?

I know they make me sick.

On a side note…, whatever happened to that #METOO movement?

I guess women’s rights only go so far.

Anyway…, “Robach filmed an interview with Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre in 2015 that never aired, and she vented about ABC killing the story during a ‘moment of frustration’ that was published Tuesday by Project Veritas.”

aep 7

Note: For more information on “Project Veritas,” please refer to my blog from October 31, 2019, “CNN exposed as propaganda arm for the democrats!”

“ABC News president James Goldston recently dined with members of the royal family, including Prince Charles, according to Page Six. In the leaked footage, Robach complained that ABC would not air her sit down with Giuffre – who has claimed Epstein paid her to have sex with Prince Andrew, although the prince denies the allegations.”

‘“The Palace [Buckingham Palace] found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us a million different ways,’ said ABC News anchor Amy Robach.”

“Giuffre told NPR in August that she ‘viewed the ABC interview as a potential game-changer’ and said the network never explained why it didn’t air.  ABC News has said it didn’t meet its standards.”

“Didn’t meet its standards?!”

Oh…, now all of a sudden they have “standards?!”

Where were these journalistic “standards” when they reported on wild and unsubstantiated Russian collusion nonsense on a nightly basis?

Where were these journalistic “standards” when they reported on wild unsubstantiated claims regarding Judge Brett Kavanaugh?

The list could go on.

The point is, in the world of the fake news media, “journalistic standards” means the proper application of the liberal propaganda of the day.

aep 10

And what about the rest of the fake news media and this story?

“Fox News found no coverage on CNN, MSNBC, CBS News, or NBC News from noon through midnight ET on Tuesday while the story was lighting up social media. During that same time frame, Fox News covered the scandal on five different programs, including its entire primetime lineup.”

‘“That there has been so little coverage about ABC avoiding the Epstein story demonstrates again that mainstream media too often make news judgment based on sociocultural or political implications rather than journalistic values,’” DePauw University professor and media critic Jeffrey McCall told Fox News.”

adebate 9

Like I said…, “Just another example of ‘the fake news media’ tailoring what ‘news’ they want you to hear…, or to not hear!

“During the NBC interview, Giuffre repeated accusations she has made in court papers that when she was 17 in 2001 she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew. A photo released by a New York appeals court in August showed Andrew with his arm around Giuffre’s bare waist.”

aep 3

“Giuffre said it was taken in the apartment of Epstein’s longtime girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2001.”

Please note that if Ghislaine Maxwell isn’t already dead, she will be experiencing an accidental suicide very soon.

Just sayin’.

“Ghislaine woke me up in the morning and said, ‘You’re going to meet a prince today.’ I didn’t know at that point I was going to be trafficked to that prince,’ Giuffre told NBC News three years after her interview with ABC that never aired.”

‘“Ghislaine said [Prince Andrew’s] coming back to the house and I want you do to for him what you do for Epstein,’ Giuffre said in the interview. ‘I couldn’t believe it.’”

“Giuffre said she and Andrew had sex two more times. The encounters happened in Epstein’s New York apartment and at his Virgin Islands estate, she alleges.”

“A Buckingham Palace spokesperson has emphatically denied Giuffre’s allegations against Andrew.”

Of course they did.

Good show!  Bloody good show!
