COVID-19 and The Great Barrington Declaration?

“The Great Barrington Declaration?”

What the heck is “The Great Barrington Declaration?”

First of all, I have to give my wife credit for bring it to my attention.

That being said, if you’re not already aware of what “The Declaration” is, and I’m guessing most people aren’t familiar with it, once you do learn what it is, you’ll see why the fake news, liberal propaganda media has not been eager to say much about it.

Propaganda by omission.

According to Joe Allen for TheFederalist.com, “The Great Barrington Declaration is a spark of sanity in a mad world.”

I would agree.

“The Great Barrington Declaration offers a way forward, but do most Americans have the courage to risk their sense of security to maintain enduring liberty?”

And that’s the $64,000 question.

Oh boy…, that really dated myself!

Irregardless, I believe the answer to this question has been “yes” way more often than not.

“In an era in which every dubious decision is ‘due to COVID-19,’ we hear policymakers repeating the same mantra: ‘If just one life is saved,’ it’s worth relinquishing our freedoms, our sanity, and possibly our future. More often than not, this ethical dilemma is presented without mentioning the obvious trade-offs or long-term consequences.”

“Imagine you’re an administrative dictator. If you could ‘save just one life’ — or even thousands — by crippling the youth, vaporizing a million careers, wiping out small businesses, crushing your nation’s civic culture, severing the ancient continuity of religious rites, forcing healthy people into paranoid isolation, traumatizing an entire generation with viral terror, ending hugs and handshakes, depriving the elderly of intimate care in their final days, wrecking the national economy, unleashing a dystopian surveillance state, and turning your neighbors into neurotic germaphobes, would it be worth it?”

Not to mention the biggest benefit to liberals…, the ability to attack President Trump on his record.  This single benefit makes all of that collateral damage overwhelmingly acceptable.

Anyway, “It’s a serious question. What if that ‘one life’ was your grandpa?”

“If my own grandfather had lived to see the destructive madness surrounding the Wuhan virus crisis, he’d no doubt light-up a Doral 100 and say, ‘Good Lord, just let me die!’”

In my Grandpa’s case, it would have been a Lucky Strike!

Joe Allen continues, “As it happens, I was in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, when this germ hysteria got started. As things progressed, the sleepy ski town was suddenly overrun by panicked New Yorkers who escaped to their summer cottages and never went back. Being typical urban scolds, they’d show up at the local shops and shriek about other customers not wearing masks or small children standing too close to them. The locals accused these uptight yuppies of carrying the city’s plague to the countryside.”

“In this idyllic setting of cultural neurosis and mutual disdain, the now-infamous Great Barrington Declaration was drafted by three leading experts in the fields of biostatistics, immunology, and public health policy. These doctors advocate for a return to traditional wisdom: Quarantine the sick, isolate the vulnerable, and allow the young and healthy to proceed with caution. Alongside Sweden’s courageous example, the document will go down in history as a bold assertion of vitality in a withering world.”

“The declaration was authored and signed on Oct. 4 by Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard; Dr. Sunetra Gupta, a distinguished Oxford epidemiologist; and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University Medical School. To date, more than 13,000 medical professionals have added their signatures, along with more than 176,000 members of the public, with thousands more every hour. This concise manifesto is strong medicine for a sick society.”

Even The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently issued a statement that basically echoes the feelings of the Barrington Declaration.

And as I stated, it’s obvious why the fake news, liberal propaganda media has chosen to ignore The Declaration.

The Great Barrington Declaration states, “As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.”

“Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.”

“The authors call for an end to blanket, one-size-fits-all restrictions.”

The Declaration goes on to say, “Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health … leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.”

“Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.”

Like I said…, “collateral damage.”

“Let’s pause to consider all the white-collar office jockeys, tenured college professors, and coddled trust fund babies who snuggled up on cushy sofas, glued themselves to laptops, and dismissed the protests of those who were laid off, locked down, and muzzled against their will. ‘What’s so hard about wearing a mask?’ they’d scoff, despite the evidence that, all factors considered, healthy people have little reason to do so. ‘Stay home and stay safe!’ they yelped, before moving on to the next Amazon 1-Click order.”

“The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.”

“Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. … Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. … Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. … People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.”

“That sounds far more reasonable than California Gov. Gavin Newsom urging diners to pull down their masks to take bites and pull them back up to chew, but of course, no plan is foolproof.”

“Microbiologist Simon Clarke voiced one of the stronger arguments against the declaration, warning that the quest for herd immunity is plagued with uncertainty. He rightly noted that we don’t know how long immunity to the coronavirus actually lasts. We also don’t know what the long-term damage might be, even to healthy people, and it’s questionable whether it’s ethical to segregate those deemed ‘vulnerable’ from germ-ridden public spaces.”

“Fair enough, but how is it more ethical to straitjacket the entire culture, indefinitely, for the sake of a vulnerable minority’s already-limited freedom?”

“If fear of the unknown drives the skepticism toward herd immunity, explain to me how it’s acceptable for our leaders to implement six months of bizarre social experimentation fraught with unintended consequences. So far, they’ve employed forced isolation, mask mandates, vicious social shaming, and media-induced germaphobia. This approach has no Western precedent, except perhaps medieval superstition, and its proponents offer no feasible projections of holistic outcomes beyond hypothetical ‘saved lives.’”

“If one principle has remained constant during this crisis, it’s that the numbers frequently follow the politics, rather than the reverse. For instance, back in August, Biden began pushing for a nationwide mask mandate, insisting it would save 40,000 lives. Come September, Biden’s scientific sources had upped that number to a whopping 100,000 lives.”

“At this rate, by Election Day, a draconian mask mandate will save more than a million lives. Who knows? Maybe if we cover with burkas made out of personal protective equipment until the inauguration, God will withhold his eternal wrath, and no one will ever die again.”

“Our newly minted social engineers are absolutely obsessed with ‘the numbers.’ These insidious numbers are always rising, or about to rise, or once rising and sure to rise again, but how do our esteemed experts quantify a loss of dignity? How do they calculate the degradation of social health? How do they weigh hypothetical saved lives against the observable lost souls?”

Ah yes…, “the numbers.”

When we look at “the numbers,” we see that over 210,000 people have died from the virus in the US.

But this is a bit misleading.  In fact, more than a bit misleading.

It has been estimated that the actual number of deaths that can be solely attributed to the China virus is more like 10,000-20,000…, not the over 200,000 number which is continually thrown at us.

In fact, many of these “COVID deaths” are not even validated by actual testing, but are included based on assumptions.  Not very scientific, for people who are constantly demanding we “should follow the science.”

Allen finishes by saying, “Perhaps these people have nothing to lose. For those of us who do, a cautious but deliberate path toward herd immunity offers a sane alternative to perpetual neurotic terror. The question is whether most Americans have the will and the courage to risk their sense of security to maintain enduring liberty.”

Tell me again how “climate change” is the world’s greatest concern?

If “global climate change” is such a global concern, (the world is going to end in 10 years we’re told) then why are the vast majority of countries doing nothing about it currently, except demanding that The United States address this perceived threat by reducing their omissions, their use of fossil fuels, sacrificing their economy and paying for any and all perceived corrective actions?

Why?

Because it’s not really about “climate change,” it’s about using and abusing The United States, as usual, and governmental control.

It’s real easy to get on-board with a cause when nothing is required from you, and someone else is going to do all the work while you reap the rewards.

Yes, the members of the Paris Climate Accord are sooooo noble and soooooo “woke.”

All they contribute is their hot air, while paying lip service to each other and the media.

If you are really “all in” with this “man-made climate change” theory, then put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is!

The bottom line is humans are incapable of affecting the global climate, unless we’re talking about all-out global nuclear war…, and that goes both ways, positively and negatively.

There, I said it.

I’m not a “climate change” denier, however…, I’m a “man-made climate change” denier.

There’s a difference.

A big difference.

The Earth’s climate has been changing since its existence…, and without any help from humans.

No one denies an ice age occurred on Earth roughly 10,000 years ago, scientists say…, and humans had nothing to do with that, so how could it have happened?

The truth is the Earth’s climate changes from time to time, and not just since the relative speck of time that humans have been around and burning fossil fuel.

There are many natural factors and natural events that affect the Earth’s climate thousands of times as much as people ever could.

Now I’m not a “scientist,” but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!

But seriously, I’m not a “scientist,” but I can recognize obvious truths and obvious facts and make intelligent determinations, and I’ve heard the “scientists” cry wolf before.

Here endeth the lesson.

Bias in the mainstream media?

If there was ever any question about bias in the mainstream media, the USA Today newspaper erased all doubt.

According to Fox News, “USA Today apparently forgot about Vice President Mike Pence Wednesday night, when the newspaper tweeted a poll asking who won the vice presidential debate and listed only ‘Kamala Harris,’ ‘Joe Biden,’ ‘the pesky fly’ and ‘I didn’t watch’ as options.”

How you omit one of the two only participants in the debate is inexcusable, and demonstrates either USA Today’s complete incompetence, or their complete bias.

I’m going with “their complete bias,” although I feel we should not sell their incompetence short.

“The mistaken tweet was posted shortly after the end of the debate, which was moderated by USA Today’s Washington bureau chief Susan Page.”

This is the same Susan Page who repeatedly tried to cut Vice President Pence’s response times short, but then finding out that Kamala Harris ended up with over four and a half minutes more speaking time than Vice President Pence.

Funny who that works out, isn’t it?

“Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, tweeted a image of the now-deleted poll and asked, ‘Think the media has an agenda? Mike Pence isn’t even listed as an option on their “poll.”’”

“The paper then replaced the initial poll with another version that listed Pence as an option instead of Biden.”

“USA Today then made light of the gaffe by tweeting a third poll asking, ‘Is this a corrected poll because USA TODAY messed up the first one?’”

Oh yeah, just a completely understandable “gaffe” on their part.

“USA Today did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”

Oh really?!

That’s odd!

“The ‘pesky fly’ option refers to the now-viral insect that landed on [Vice President] Pence’s head and stayed there for more than two minutes late in the proceedings.”

The choice is really quite simple.

Our presidential election is only a few weeks away.

We have the choice between the democrat/liberal, Joe Biden, and the republican/conservative, Donald Trump.

Yes, we have to vote for one of these two men, but we also need to consider what these two men represent.

Let’s review what you apparently support by voting for either the democrat/liberal, Joe Biden, or the republican/conservative, Donald Trump.

Democrats/liberals believe it is a woman’s right to abort a baby right up to the moment before birth.

Republicans/conservatives believe all babies have a right to be born and live.

Democrats/liberals support defunding police departments.  All criminals are fans of this!

Republicans/conservatives believe if anything, police department support needs to be increased.

Democrats/liberals support taking guns away from law abiding citizens. Again, all criminals are fans of this!

Republicans/conservatives believe law abiding citizens have the right to protect themselves and bear arms, as guaranteed in The Constitution.

Democrats/liberals believe anyone from anywhere should be able to freely walk right into our country whenever they feel like it.  The drug cartels and human traffickers love this.

Republicans/conservatives believe our borders should be secure, limiting who can and who can’t come in at any given time, while affording us an orderly and managed legal immigration process.

Democrats/liberals believe in tearing down monuments to our history as a country.

Republicans/conservatives believe in honoring and learning from our history, not trying to erase it.

Democrats/liberals support “sanctuary” cities and states, where illegal immigrants can live without fear of being taken into Federal custody and charged with crimes or be deported.

Republicans/conservatives believe illegal immigrants are “illegal” and are here illegally, and should be treated as such. Republicans/conservatives also believe that the concerns of legal citizens should come before those of illegal immigrants.

Democrats/liberals support raising taxes across the board.  They claim working class people won’t be affected, but we all know higher tax rates for companies and corporations are just passed down to us.

Republicans/conservatives support the continued reduction of taxes across the board.

Democrats/liberals immediately take money from the military at their earliest opportunity, weakening our nation’s defense.

Republicans/conservatives believe a strong military is an absolute necessity in today’s global environment.  The defense of our country is also the federal government’s primary responsibility per The Constitution.

…

Democrats/liberals love implementing a seemingly never-ending list of federal regulations designed to suffocate construction, business operations, and whatever else they can think of to stifle our civil liberties.

Republicans/conservatives believe some regulations are necessary, but that less regulation is preferable in order promote businesses and maintain a strong economy.

…

Democrats/liberals feel it is a good idea to allow anyone living in our country to vote, regardless of whether they are here legally or not, and regardless of whether the voter has any proper ID to prove who they are.

Republicans/conservatives believe only legal citizens should be allowed to vote, and that an ID should be required.

Democrats/liberals believe that government should be the “end all be all” for anyone living in America.

Republicans/conservatives believe that government is a “necessary evil,” and that most things are done more efficiently and cheaper by the private sector.

Democrats/liberals believe in a person’s dependence on government, and that having some form of a socialist government is more desirable that our capitalist system, even though no socialist government in the past can be pointed to as a successful government.

Republicans/conservatives believe in our capitalist way of doing things, providing for ourselves as a rule, and system which allows individuals to rise to any level of success, dependent on the individuals’ desire to attain it.

 …

Democrats/liberals believe in free speech as long as your speech agrees with their beliefs, if not, they have no problem with censoring or silencing you.

Republicans/conservatives believe in the 1st Amendment, and that everyone has a right to their own opinions and that they have a right to voice those opinions.

Democrats/liberals believe rioting, burning, and looting are acceptable forms of “peaceful protesting.”  They believe in deferring to the desires of “the mob” as opposed to following the law.

Republicans/conservatives believe in law and order, and that no one has the right to harm other people or their property as part of their “protest.”

Democrats/liberals prefer to operate in a way that highlights a person’s racial identity, gender identity, or sexual preference above all else…, except their political leaning.

Republicans/conservatives prefer to identify people by the quality of their character and by their actions and beliefs, without concern for race, color, or creed.

Democrats/liberals believe the United States’ industry, people and economy need to be punished and restricted due to “climate change,” while the rest of the world is allowed to keep right on polluting and taking advantage of us.

Republicans/conservatives believe if “climate change” is real, it wasn’t caused by us and we have no real way of affecting “climate change” one way or the other.

Democrats/liberals believe fossil fuels are evil and need to be done away with.

Republicans/conservatives believe fossil fuels are still the energy souce of choice right now, at least until other options become viable. Republicans/consrvatives like the US having energy independence, not having to rely on the Middle East for anything, contolling our own energy pricing.

Democrats/liberals believe it’s okay for the “media” to operate as an arm of the democrat party, reporting only things that support their narrative, while attacking republicans/conservatives, and especially President Trump on a daily basis.

Republicans/conservatives believe the “media” should report from an unbiased point of view, acting as a watchdog against all government improprieties, regardless of which party it is.

And what about the economy?

Democrats/liberals point to the economy after China, and the democrats I believe, dropped the coronavirus bomb on us.

Republicans/conservatives point the hottest economy in history, prior to the China virus, and believe President Trump can get our econmy humming again. Without the release of “The virus,” the democrats would not have stood a chance in this election.

So, like I said in the beginning, “The choice is really quite simple.”

The differences between democrats/liberals and republicans/conservatives have never been more obvious.

The question is which side are you on?

If you’re having a hard time deciding who to vote for, you are obviously one confused individual!

There should be no undecided voters at this point.

If you really are undecided, then maybe you shouldn’t even bother voting.

Just sayin’.

“Stupid is as stupid does!”

Maybe, “do as I command, but not as I do” would be more appropriate.

According to Adam Shaw of Fox News, “The office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom has told residents in the Golden State that if they go out to eat, they should be wearing a mask ‘in between bites’ to protect themselves from COVID-19.”

Seriously?!

Are you kidding me right now?!

Do you think it would be a good idea to pat your head and rub your tummy while chewing as well?

It has literally gotten to the point that I am embarrassed to concede that California is a part of The United States.

None of this stuff has anything to do with effective ways of controlling the China virus.

It’s all about government seeing how much dictating and controlling of our lives it can get away with in the name of “public safety.”

‘“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?’ an Oct. 3 tweet from the governor’s office says. ‘Don’t forget to keep your mask on in between bites.’”

“For emphasis, the tweet shows an image of someone at a dining seat wearing a mask, then not wearing a mask while taking a bite, and then putting the mask on again.”

“However, the image then advises people to ‘minimize the number of times you take your mask off.’”

So, I guess you’re either not supposed to finish your meal, or take really big bites.

C’mon!!!

Please tell me you can see through this insanity.

Because if enough people can’t or refuse to, “The Socialist People’s Republic of The United States” is just around the corner.

My favorite “climate change” memes!

Here is my first collection of my favorite “climate change” memes!

“Meme” is pronounced [MEEM], and rhymes with “seem,” if you’re not familiar with the term.

A “meme” is a humorous image that is copied and enhanced (often with the addition of a message, joke, or saying) and spread rapidly by Internet users.

So, without any further adieu…, here are the memes!

Enjoy.

I hope you enjoyed my inaugural collection of climate change memes!

Dinosaurs explained!?

Did you ever wonder why so many prehistoric animals and plants were so big?

Traditional science and scientists really don’t offer a credible explanation in my mind.

Karen Kirkpatrick, for the “Howstuffworks” website, admits that the reason why so many of these prehistoric creatures were so big, “is something of a mystery [to Science].”

I think what she really means is, “Science” is having a hard time coming up with a reason to explain the prehistoric organisms while not being viewed as agreeing with The Bible.

Additionally, if you believe in The Bible, did you ever wonder why people lived so long prior to Noah’s flood?

Well, here is my belief, which I have come to after considering many sources.

The basis of my belief comes from The Bible.

The Bible says, in the book of Genesis (from The King James Version):

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Verses 6-8 specifically describe an environment that would be conducive to organisms being able to grow much bigger and live much longer, than within the environment in which we exist now (after the flood).

It seems pretty clear to me that verses 6-8 describe an Earth with water on the surface of the planet, a layer of water surrounding the planet, and an atmosphere, or sky, in-between them.

This configuration would create a type of greenhouse, and an air pressure, which could be compared to the environment in a bariatric chamber.

From https://www.british-israel.us/index.php:

“A 50-inch-wingspan dragonfly fossil was found in Italy. Today they are limited in size by the amount of oxygen and the air pressure. They breathe through their skin. Bugs growing in oxygen-rich environments grow up to 1,000 times heavier than those living today! If an animal increases in size, it has less surface area compared to its volume. This is why huge insects couldn’t breathe in today’s atmosphere.”

“But fossil insects are huge!”

“Cockroaches over 18 inches long have been found in the fossil record.”

“A fossil centipede 8.5 feet long was found.”

“Fossil grasshoppers have been found over two feet long. A giant tarantula fossil was found with a three-foot leg span.”

“Fossil cattails have been found 60 feet tall.”

“Fossil buffalo horns have been found with a 12-foot span. Giant elk with 12-foot antlers. A giant pre-historic goose stood as tall as an elephant and weighed up to half a ton. Salamanders grew 6 feet long. Sharks before the Flood were 80 feet long. Turtles bigger than men. Oyster shells have been found on the tops of mountains of Peru two miles above sea level 11.5 feet wide. Reptiles never stop growing. They grow throughout their entire lives (Holt Earth Science, 1991, p.293).”

A key to understanding the Pre-Flood Earth is the existence of a canopy of water in the stratosphere.

“After Noah’s Flood this water canopy in the stratosphere was removed, and the water became part of the waters of the Flood of Noah, approximately 4,400 years ago. The water canopy in the stratosphere is therefore no longer present.”

“The water canopy originally provided protection against cosmic radiation from outer space.”

“The Water layer in the Stratosphere had several other very important functions.”

“The temperature was probably much warmer, with no variation of temperature over the entire planet because of the greenhouse effect of the vapor canopy in the stratosphere. This perhaps explains why Mammoths preserved in the permafrost in Siberia have tropical vegetation in their stomachs.”

“One of the very important functions of the upper atmosphere today is that much of the dangerous radiation from the sun is filtered out. However, some dangerous radiation still gets through to the surface of the Earth. This is why, for example, overexposure to sunlight can cause skin cancer.”

“The blocking of dangerous X-rays and gamma rays would probably have been much greater before the Flood. This probably accounts for the much longer life spans of the patriarchs recorded in the Bible (some over 900 years).”

“Genesis 2:5-6 indicates that at least prior to the creation of Adam, rain did not fall but that the plants were nourished by springs coming up out of the ground. The Bible does not actually mention rain until the Flood, and a canopy providing a greenhouse effect could have lessened the need for the water cycle. If Noah was the first person to see a rainbow, that would add further strength to the canopy theory.”

“Genesis 7:11-12 tells us it rained for forty days and nights. Such a lengthy deluge would be impossible today because there isn’t nearly enough moisture in the present atmosphere; therefore, there had to be much more water in the heavens of Noah’s time.”

“A canopy would have provided an increased atmospheric pressure, heavier air in other words, that would have allowed the prehistoric flying reptiles such as the pteranodon to have taken flight. It is doubtful that these creatures would be able to fly in today’s thinner atmosphere.”

“The water canopy in the stratosphere would have dramatically increased the partial pressure of gases on Planet Earth, causing 50% higher concentrations of Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide. This is proved in experiments on Pre-Flood air trapped in fossilized tree sap, now known as the semi-precious stone, Amber.”

“According to Time Magazine, November 9, 1987, p. 82, bubbles of air in Amber have an oxygen content that is 50% higher than the present atmospheric air.”

“According to this article in Time Magazine, Geochemists Gary Landis of the US Geological Survey and Robert Berner of Yale analyzed tiny air bubbles trapped in specimens of Amber.”

“They placed the Amber specimens inside a vacuum chamber, and then opened the Amber, allowing the ancient trapped gases to escape. They found that the air contained 32% oxygen, which is much higher than our current 21% oxygen content in the atmosphere.”

“This finding is confirmed in The New Scientist Magazine published on March 11, 2000. According to this article the air trapped in Amber has 35% oxygen.”

“These findings confirm that Planet Earth had much higher Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide levels at an earlier date, and would seem to confirm the theory about higher Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide levels in the atmosphere, caused by the water canopy before Noah’s Flood.”

“Because of the higher oxygen levels, the high blood oxygen levels would have contributed to extreme longevity, resistance to bacterial and viral diseases, and greater metabolic efficiency, with consequent greatly enhanced athletic ability.”

“The average recorded life span in The Bible of the early patriarchs is 912 years. This is in stark contrast to today’s much shorter life spans, with 70-80 years being typical.”

“In the Pre-Flood atmosphere the Carbon Dioxide content was much higher because of the canopy of water. This high Carbon Dioxide content caused the vegetation, to grow much larger, and also more abundantly.

Now I’m no scientist, but I’m not stupid either.

Doesn’t this sound like a theory that makes sense, while offering an explanation for dinosaurs and the other fossils we find today?

Until I learn something that would make me think otherwise, this is my story and I’m sticking to it!

Yes…, we can all learn from the Cuban exiles who fled to America, and more specifically to Hialeah, Florida.

Who would know better about the dangers of socialism and communism?

Some of our liberal friends might purport to know better…, but they don’t.

I probably really shouldn’t say that.

Because the liberals do know.

It’s just a sacrifice they are willing to have US all make in order for THEM to wield power.

Elina Shirazi of Fox News reports, “Florida’s top city for Cuban exiles goes to bat for GOP in 2020.”

“Everyone that flees communism comes to Hialeah,[Florida]” which is known as “Trump Town.”

“The city of Hialeah, outside Miami, is known for its Cuban American community of working families, tight incomes and friendships among neighbors — and as the election nears, many say they’re leaning strongly toward voting for President Trump.”

Vaya Presidente Trump! (Go President Trump!)

‘“Hard-working people, blue-collar workers, Cubans from different generations… come to live here. The grandmas, the fathers, the sons and daughters,’ said Lucy Pereda, who has made Hialeah her longtime home.”

“Many in Hialeah say they’re leaning strongly toward voting for President Trump.”

“Hialeah is home to a greater percentage of Cubans than any other city in the country, according to census data. People like Pereda made Hialeah their home after escaping communist regimes and dictatorships. They shaped what has become a reliably Republican city of over 230,000 that is over 96% Hispanic.”

‘“Everyone that flees communism comes to Hialeah. Hialeah is totally Republican as far as voting, and we are… one of the strongest Trump cities in the whole United States,’ Julio Martinez said.”

I’ve gotta visit this place!

“Current Democrat nominee Joe Biden’s campaign has sought to court Hispanic voters by beefing up Latino staff and launching more Spanish-language ads in Florida. He also has visited several cities in the state, including Kissimmee and Tampa. Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., have both visited Miami.”

Yes, he’s “courting” them, but they’ve all heard his BS before, and they know how that story ends.

“[President] Trump has leaned on a message that the Democratic Party was running on a socialist platform. University of Miami professor Michael Touchton acknowledged that socialism has been a turnoff for many Hispanic voters and a label the Democratic Party can’t shake within the community.”

‘“Republicans have successfully labeled Democrats as leaning towards socialism,’ Touchton said. ‘This reminds Cuban Americans and Venezuelan Americans of their exile and of their need to stand up to communist regimes in Latin America, which they don’t think a Biden administration will do because he’s a Democrat.’”

Excuse me, but republicans don’t have to label democrats as anything.  The democrats freely admit they want to see socialism implemented in the United States. They have defined and labeled themselves.

‘“I came from Cuba about 14 years ago and I have lived in Hialeah for the last seven years. Hialeah is “Trump Town,’” said Fernando Godo. ‘It’s not Trump versus Biden. It is socialism versus capitalism, government control versus liberty. These are the kinds of things we are looking at.’”

Now there’s the line of the day, Mr. Godo!

“IT’S NOT TRUMP VERSUS BIDEN.  IT IS SOCIALISM VERSUS CAPITALISM, GOVERNMENT CONTROL VERSUS LIBERTY!”

Amen!

That’s what I’m sayin’!

‘“I am an ex-political prisoner. I’m a Cuban exile,’ said independent voter Emilio Izquierdo Jr. He said he came to America in 1980 on the Mariel boatlift, which brought thousands of Cubans to the U.S. ‘Democrats are going more to the left, and every time, the Republican was going more to the right.’”

Independent voter Emilio Izquierdo Jr. said Democrats and Republicans have been moving in opposite directions. (Elina Shirazi/Fox News)

“He said that while he viewed both parties as too partisan, he would rather wear the Trump 2020 hat. ‘Specifically, in this area. The Cuban Americans [who support] Democrats, they are confused, they like socialists. They were people recycled from Cuban communists. I don’t want socialist and communist. I got a bad, bad experience.’”

“Joe Biden, in my area, doesn’t have too many votes. He’s done even before the elections.”

Thank God for people like the people in Hialeah.

The lessons these Cubans have learned, and the lessons the Venezuelan people have learned, are lessons you don’t want to have to learn…, ever.

Treasonous James Comey…, otherwise known as “Notorious TJC.”

Former FBI [Federal Bureau of Incompetence] Director James Comey testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday as part of the committee’s probe into the origins of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

James Comey isn’t “incompetent,” however…, he knew exactly what he was doing.

According to CBS News, “Comey, who was fired by President Trump in 2017, oversaw the investigation, called ‘Crossfire Hurricane,’ which was eventually taken over by special counsel Robert Mueller.”

Yes…, Mr. Mueller is very, very “special,” if you know what I mean.

In my opinion, “Crossfire Hurricane” would have been more aptly named “Excrement Storm.”

“A report by the inspector general for the Justice Department [Sometimes known as The Department of Injustice.] published in December found 17 ‘significant inaccuracies and omissions’ in the FBI’s handling of FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) applications to surveil Carter Page, a former Trump campaign aide.”

Oh…, only 17 “significant inaccuracies and omissions?”

Well, just let me know if we get to 20 “significant inaccuracies and omissions,” because that’s my limit.

“The report also found, however, the FBI was justified in launching the investigation and showed no political bias.”

FOUND NO POLITICAL BIAS???!!!

Unbelievable.

“Comey repeatedly told the committee he had been unaware of major problems with each of four applications the FBI submitted in 2016 to 2017 to eavesdrop on Page.”

I just have a quick question for you Mr. Comey.

WHAT ELSE DID YOU HAVE GOING ON THAT WAS SOOO IMPORTANT THAT AN INVESTIGATION INVOLVING SPYING ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES DIDN’T DESERVE YOUR COMPLETE AND UNDIVIDED ATTENTION??????!!!!!!

“He said he had been overly confident that the surveillance process was working as it should. He noted that Page accounted for just ‘a slice’ of the investigation but that he wouldn’t have signed off on the surveillance had he known of the problems.”

AGAIN…, WHAT ELSE DID YOU HAVE GOING ON THAT WAS SOOO IMPORTANT THAT AN INVESTIGATION INVOLVING SPYING ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES DIDN’T DESERVE YOUR COMPLETE AND UNDIVIDED ATTENTION??????!!!!!!

I’m just saying…, wouldn’t you think everything you did in this case would be double checked, then triple checked, with every “i” dotted and every “t” crossed?

“Comey also acknowledged ‘concerning’ and ‘embarrassing’ problems in the handling of surveillance applications.”

HELL YES THESE WERE “CONCERNING AND EMBARRASSING PROBLEMS!”

And that’s putting it mildly.

‘“In the main, it was done by the book, it was appropriate and it was essential that it be done,’ Comey said.”

“Done by the book?”

Can we see this “book,” Mr. Comey?

And what “book” exactly are you referring to…, “A traitor’s guide to undermining a president?”

The “debate” that wasn’t a debate.

During the first presidential debate of 2020, nothing was actually debated.

Questions were asked.

Questions were sidestepped.

Questions were ignored.

Statements were made.

Statements were questioned.

Accusations were made.

Accusations were denied.

Accusations were responded to.

Lies were uttered as attacks and defenses.

But it seemed that nothing was actually “debated.”

According to Tyler Olson of Fox News, “The first debate of the 2020 presidential election on Tuesday night was fiery from beginning to end.”

“President Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden attacked each other in starkly personal terms for more than 90 minutes as moderator Chris Wallace worked to get both candidates, but especially [President] Trump, to follow the debate rules the candidates had agreed to.”

President Trump was obviously quite aggressive, but I think I have to give him a bit of a pass on that.

It is not often that The President gets the opportunity to face his accusers.

Since day one on the job, The President has been spied on, attacked on a daily basis, was forced to deal with the fake Russian collusion Mueller investigation, then endure an impeachment hoax, and then he was forced to deal with the Chinese virus, which was unleashed on our country by China and adopted as a political strategy by the democrats and the fake news media.

Now here, President Trump had the man right in front of him, who has called him a racist and a xenophobe.

Here he had the man right in front of him, who is a card-carrying member of the political establishment which has sought to discredit and attack him at every turn.

President Trump had a boat load of pent up frustration that was just primed to be unloaded on Joe Biden.

There was no way these time constraints or a moderator were going to get in his way.

“The ‘conversation’ ranged from the coronavirus crisis to the Supreme Court vacancy to health care. It’s not clear how much substance voters could get out of the debate, however, as it largely consisted of lines aimed to appeal to partisans.”

I feel that President Trump’s supporters could relate to exactly what he was talking about at times, while Biden supporters, who have relied on the fake news for their information, may have been hearing about many of these issues for the first time and may have needed a little more groundwork or background in order for The President to make his point effectively.

The limited time format just didn’t allow for this to happen in many instances, however.

In a nutshell, we had President Trump insisting the radical left was in control of the democrat party, while Joe Biden proclaimed, “I am the Democratic Party right now.”

“It was one of the strongest statements from Biden to date distancing himself from the farthest-left wings of the party. [President] Trump would continue to hammer this point throughout the ‘debate.’”

Biden constantly distanced himself from the radical left regarding healthcare, and global warming, while still managing to remain pretty far out there.  He seemed to be in “no man’s land” on a lot of these issues.

“During a discussion about global warming later in the debate, Biden said ‘the Green New Deal is not my plan.’”

I’m sure Joe will be receiving calls today from his running mate, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez regarding many of his statements.

President Trump clearly established himself as “the law and order candidate.”

And Joe Biden blatantly lied about all of the money his son, Hunter, had received from Russian, Chinese, and Ukrainian interests.

Joe lied about President Trump not acting quickly enough regarding the China virus, when in fact it was he and his democrat friends that ridiculed the President for taking steps to protect the country at the time.

And lastly, President Trump attempted to show a clear difference between the two of them, by emphasizing that Biden would close the country again and that the shutdowns are “hurting people both financially and in their mental health.”

Biden said keeping the country shut down would help the economy long term.

Well, there you have my take and analysis on the first presidential “debate.”

It may be the last presidential “debate” as well.

The liberals just can’t afford for any of these nagging facts to get out there anymore!
