When will we get back to normal?

This is a question on a lot of people’s minds, and a question that a lot of people are asking.

My simple answer is, WE WILL NEVER GET BACK TO “NORMAL,” especially if you or your fellow citizens were foolish enough to elect a democrat governor or a democrat mayor.

Things will never be like they were pre-2020 and pre-COVID.

It’s not that we can’t get back to “normal.”

The truth of the matter is there are groups of people, people with a lot of power and influence, who don’t want our country to get back to “normal.”

Our “normal” way of life had way too much freedom and way too much capitalism in it, according to these people.

We could go where we wanted, do what we wanted, live like we wanted, and work like we wanted.

That, my friends, is all over now, and it ain’t coming back…, at least back to “normal.”

A precedent has now been set, regarding our response to the China virus.

A precedent that will now be retriggered every year, or every other year.

I’m sorry to say it, but masks are never going away now.

We will only continue to experience “new normals” from now on…, and they won’t be good.

According to Cornelius Phanthanh, the publisher of the article, Why Japanese wear masks: a look behind health, etiquette, and culture, “Not only relegated to flu season or fears of catching colds, masks have long been a regular part of Japanese society. They’ve evolved to carry a wider definition, some not having anything to do with health reasons at all.”

Ralph Jennings, of VOANEWS.com, says, “Not Just Coronavirus: Asians Have Worn Face Masks for Decades.”

“Asians, especially in Japan, China and Taiwan, have worn masks for a host of cultural and environmental reasons, including non-medical ones, since at least the 1950s.”

“Masks became a regular part of the street scene in parts of Asia after the deadly severe outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) that started in China in 2002 before spreading to Singapore and Taiwan over the following year. Today manufacturers in East Asia are pumping out 10 to 20 million units per month.”

“The SARS outbreak was a ‘turning point,’ for Asia, said Chen Yih-chun, director of the National Taiwan University Hospital Center for Infection Control in Taipei.”

‘“Why we always mention the SARS matter is because during SARS and before that to wear a mask was impossible and patients didn’t want to cooperate,’ Chen said.”

“But Japanese had worn them even in the 1950s as a safeguard against rising air pollution, a byproduct of industrialization. Now people who feel just ‘under the weather’ in Japan wear them to be polite, Sutton said.”

“The website credits masks further with hiding people’s identities. To that end, the black face mask became a symbol of last year’s Hong Kong protests attended by citizens hoping to avoid detection by police or their employers.”

“In Taiwan, older people add sunglasses and sun hats to masks to obscure their entire faces. The full blockade wards off sunburns and, some users say, stops common air pollution. High-tech pollution barrier masks are a norm in China’s major cities.”

“The common use of masks in Asia now goes beyond official health guidance as panic spreads about catching the coronavirus and people already find masks acceptable. In Taiwan, as well as South Korea, the rage in mask buying has prompted rationing.”

“Governments in Singapore and Taiwan recommend masks primarily for people who are already sick. The World Health Organization says healthy people need not wear masks unless caring for someone with the new coronavirus.”

“Common surgical masks stop only droplets from the mouth and nose, not airborne germs.”

DID YOU GET THAT EVERYONE?

MASKS DO NOT PROTECT US FROM THE VIRUS, OR ANY VIRUS FOR THAT MATTER!

“Taiwan Health and Welfare Minister Chen Shih-chung advises against masks for healthy people unless they’re in crowds, where someone might cough or sneeze.”

‘“We’re still saying that healthy people basically don’t need to wear face mask, but we still want to advise that once you reach a crowded place for a long time, to wear a mask can protect yourself and protect other people,’ Chen said.”

DID YOU GET THAT, EVERYONE?

HEALTHY PEOPLE DON’T NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK.

AND WHY IS THAT?

BECAUSE IT IS UNHEALTHY FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK ALL OF THE TIME!

SAY WHAT?!

IT IS UNHEALTHY FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK ALL OF THE TIME!

The truth of the matter is, if we would take extra precautions for older people and people with pre-existing conditions, the China virus is no more dangerous than the annual flu for the rest of us.

The truth of the matter is THESE EGGHEADS AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS SHUT DOWN THE ECONOMY AND OUR LIVES FOR NO GOOD REASON!

Well, I shouldn’t say for no good reason, especially for them.

Their “good reason” was to tank our unbelievable economy.

Because without doing that, the democrats had no chance of defeating President Trump in the 2020 election.

And the way it turned out, they still couldn’t beat him…, at least fair and square.

COVID-19 was a win-win for the democrats and the Communist Chinese Party.

For the rest of us, it was a lose-lose.

Now we’re supposed to wear two masks?!

According to Alexander Tin, for CBS News, “CDC [Center for Disease Control] recommends double masks to help protect against COVID-19.”

So, does that mean for the last year we’ve not been properly protected with just one mask?

That would explain why the infection numbers have been so high for so long.

Thanks CDC, for your flawed recommendations once again.

Remember…, we have to “follow the science,” even if “the science” doesn’t know where it’s going!

“After months of demands for federal health officials to update mask recommendations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new guidelines Wednesday that include wearing well-fitting face masks or two masks at a time to help curb the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Who, exactly, has been demanding “federal health officials to update mask recommendations,” by the way?

The only thing most people are demanding, as far I know, is for the CDC to come out and admit that masks are not really effective in stopping the virus, which obviously now, they’re admitting they’re not.

They admit that even two masks will not stop the transfer of the China virus.

Don’t believe me?

Hospitals didn’t let visitors in even if you were wearing a mask.

Now try visiting someone in the hospital wearing two masks…, they still won’t let you in.

If masks really worked, why would hospitals not let family members visit their loved ones if they were wearing one…, or two?

BECAUSE MASKS DON’T WORK!!!

“The updated guidance follows the release of new research from the CDC which tested various masks in a lab setting and found evidence that combining a cloth mask over a surgical mask could dramatically reduce both the spread of the virus to others and exposure to the virus oneself.”

“Reduces,” not eliminates.

We’ve been dealing with the China virus for like a year now, and just now they’re coming up with this two-mask thing?!

“The CDC’s new recommendations advise Americans to select masks with a nose wire that can be adjusted for a snug fit, and to use a mask fitter or brace to better seal their masks. The CDC also recommends wearing a mask with multiple layers for greater protection, or layering a cloth mask over a disposable medical mask.”

“For a better fit, it advises knotting the ear loops of the disposable mask and then tucking and flattening the extra material on the sides.”

Whatever.

‘“I want to be clear that these new scientific data released today do not change the specific recommendations about who should wear a mask or when they should wear one. But they do provide new information on why wearing a well-fitting mask is so important,’ CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said at a White House COVID-19 briefing.”

You want to be “clear,” Ms. Walensky?

Then you should try harder.

“For the new study, CDC researchers tested combinations of multi-layered cloth and common surgical or medical procedure masks in a laboratory, simulating breathing and coughing between pairs of dummies.”

“Between pairs of dummies?”

C’mon…, these CDC researchers deserve a little more respect than that, don’t they?

Well…, maybe not!

No…, definitely, not.

“Dummies” it is!

“When only a disposable mask was worn, just 42% of cough droplets were blocked in the experiment. Combining the disposable mask with a cloth mask on top blocked 92.5% of particles expelled from the cough.”

Okay…, we get the “droplets” thing…, but how much of virus sized particles are blocked?

I’ve heard a good analogy for how much “virus” a typical mask blocks is, envision throwing sand at a chain-link fence.

Ha, ya…, that’s about it.

“The new research comes after months of pleas by advocates for the CDC to update its guidance to include recommending wearing two masks, after other studies and anecdotal evidence suggested the move could curb the spread of the virus.”

If two is better than one, then three must be better than two!

How about four?!

No, wait, I’ve got it!

How about wearing just one mask that actually works?!

“The agency’s top officials had declined to change their official recommendations until this new research had been completed, though many — from President Biden to Dr. Anthony Fauci — had already been spotted wearing two masks.”

Bloody hell?! The UK becomes the first country to roll out Covid-19 vaccine!

And the hapless FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the United States, has only said it has “scheduled a meeting” of its “outside advisory panel” to discuss Pfizer and BioNTech’s application for emergency use authorization for a coronavirus vaccine for December 10.

No rush here…, just go on ahead and takes your sweet time!

The FDA in the United States obviously sees no sense of urgency regarding this matter.

And what the hell is an “outside advisory panel?”

The FDA has an annual budget of $6 billion, and they don’t have the resources within their own administration to handle this?

Anyway, according to Emma Reynolds, Stephanie Halasz, Frederik Pleitgen and Lindsay Isaac for CNN, “The United Kingdom has become the first Western nation to approve a Covid-19 vaccine, a landmark moment in the coronavirus pandemic that paves the way for the first doses to be rolled out across the country next week.”

Congratulations to the United Kingdom for moving quickly on this.

Long live the Queen!

‘“Help is on the way,’ Health Secretary Matt Hancock announced Wednesday morning, after UK regulators granted emergency authorization for a vaccine made by US pharma giant Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech.”

“A final analysis of the Phase 3 trial of Pfizer’s vaccine shows it was 95% effective in preventing infections, even in older adults, and caused no serious safety concerns, the company said last month.”

“The announcement means the UK has vaulted past the United States and European Union in the race to approve a vaccine, months into a pandemic that has killed almost 1.5 million people worldwide.”

And I just have to say again, thanks China!

And thanks for nothing FDA!

The American people all realize you have other more important things to do, but…

‘“We believe it is really the start of the end of the pandemic,’ BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin told CNN in an exclusive interview on Wednesday. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla hailed the emergency authorization as ‘a historic moment in the fight against Covid-19.’”

“The UK has ordered 40 million doses of the vaccine — enough to vaccinate 20 million people. Hancock told the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) that an initial 800,000 doses would be delivered from Pfizer’s facilities in Belgium to the UK next week, and ‘many millions’ more before the end of the year.”

In the meantime, the FDA in the United States has “scheduled a meeting” of its “outside advisory panel” to discuss Pfizer and BioNTech’s application for emergency use authorization for a coronavirus vaccine for December 10.

“Prime Minister Boris Johnson called the news ‘fantastic’ in a tweet, adding that ‘it’s the protection of vaccines that will ultimately allow us to reclaim our lives and get the economy moving again.’”

“The UK health department said the approval ‘follows months of rigorous clinical trials and a thorough analysis of the data’ by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), which had ‘concluded that the vaccine has met its strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.’”

The same data that has been available to our own FDA.

MHRA 1, FDA 0.

“MHRA chief Dr. June Raine insisted that ‘no corners have been cut’ during a news conference Wednesday. Raine said the clinical trials were ‘overlapping’ to progress the process faster. ‘Separate teams have been working in parallel to deliver this review,’ she added.”

What a novel concept!

Do you see what they’re doing over there in the UK, FDA?

“The news of the UK authorization could also cause a bit of a stir in the United States. Earlier this week, President Donald Trump privately demanded to know why the Food and Drug Administration hadn’t granted emergency use for Pfizer’s vaccine yet?”

Good question, Mr. President?

A question that our fake news, liberal propaganda, mainstream media, I’m sure, has not been too eager to pick-up.

“BioNTech and Pfizer submitted their vaccine candidate to the FDA in mid-November.”

And again, in the good old USA, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) continues to drag their feet while the China virus pandemic continues to take its toll of American lives on a daily basis.

The FDA sees the China virus as such an urgent threat that they all took four days off around the Thanksgiving holiday!

C’mon, really?!

Kaitlan Collins, for CNN, reports that, “White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is scheduled to meet with Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn in the West Wing Tuesday, as President Donald Trump has privately demanded to know why the agency hasn’t granted emergency use for Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine yet, according to two sources.”

“Two sources?!” That may be a new record for CNN!  Usually one anonymous source, or even one fictitious anonymous source, is plenty to run with a story!

Can I really help but be cynical of CNN’s reporting?

The correct answer to that is “no,” by the way.

“Meadows summed [I believe she means ‘summoned.’] Hahn for a progress update over the weekend. Hahn requested their meeting happen over the phone, one source said, but was told by the White House that the chief of staff preferred to meet in person. That appears to have led to concern within the FDA that the meeting could become tense, leading Hahn to issue a statement to Axios Monday night defending the FDA’s timeline.”

Oh my gosh, a tense meeting!

Whatever shall he do?

‘“Let me be clear — our career scientists have to make the decision and they will take the time that’s needed to make the right call on this important decision,’ Hahn said in the statement.”

Remember…, “it’s all about the science!”

When in doubt or in question, throw a scientist at them!

“A person familiar with the meeting tells CNN that Hahn is prepared to explain to the President’s team that the decision about granting the emergency use authorization is not up to him. The review is conducted by career scientists and not a decision he makes on his own.”

Ha!

So, Mr. Hahn is letting the press (the propaganda wing for the liberals and the ‘deep state’) exactly what he plans on saying to the Chief of Staff, presumably to deflect any level of accountability away from himself.

“Pfizer applied for the emergency use authorization November 20. Emergency use authorization from the FDA is not the same as full approval but allows products to be used under particular circumstances before all the evidence is available for approval, according to previous CNN reporting. The FDA has previously said it has scheduled a meeting of its outside advisory panel to discuss Pfizer and BioNTech’s application for emergency use authorization for a coronavirus vaccine for December 10.”

“But [President] Trump has become privately frustrated over how long the process is taking, sources told CNN. He has proudly and publicly admitted to pressuring the FDA to move faster.”

The only people who shouldn’t be frustrated are the Chinese Communist Party, and their friends, the American democrat leadership.

“Amid complaints from The President that the FDA is working too slowly, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Fox News Tuesday that, ‘We want a safe vaccine, absolutely. We also want a fast one because lives are at stake and a vaccine by the end of the year is key and paramount.’”

Well stated, Ms. McEnany.

“It’s not clear how the meeting between Meadows and Hahn will go until it takes place,” CNN reported.

Really?

You don’t say.

And this what they call “journalism” these days?

“A sense of distrust between Trump’s closest advisers and career scientists [Translation: Career ‘deep state” liberal scientists.] on the FDA already existed before the FDA issued public statements about the meeting Monday night.”

That, I believe, should go without saying.

‘“The FDA has been preparing for the review of EUAs for Covid-19 vaccines for several months and stands ready to do so as soon as an EUA request is submitted,’ Hahn said in a statement shortly after Pfizer applied for emergency use authorization for the vaccine in late November. ‘While we cannot predict how long the FDA’s review will take, the FDA will review the request as expeditiously as possible, while still doing so in a thorough and science-based manner, so that we can help make available a vaccine that the American people deserve as soon as possible.’”

Just shut up and approve the vaccine for the American people already, Hahn.

The time for bureaucratic paper shuffling an establishment political double-speak is over.

Following the Science?

For how long and how many times have we heard the liberals decry, “We have to follow the Science?”

Well, apparently, “following the Science” is only a popular liberal catch phrase which is trotted out when it suits their intentions and their politics.

Democrats (blue state governors in particular) have used the China virus as a means to impose a wide range of impositions on our Constitutional freedoms in the name of safety.

Some based on “following the Science,” and some not so much.

Usually only when it was politically convenient.

Dr. Richard Besser, for Fox News, says that, “Despite coronavirus, science is NOT telling us to close schools.”

But how could that be?!

We MUST “follow the Science,” right?!

“Sound science, like the coronavirus itself, is apolitical. Most everything else this year — including decisions on whether to close schools — is not.”

I think if we’ve learned anything these last four years, it’s that nothing is apolitical anymore.

Nothing.

“As the pandemic enters its deadliest phase to date, government leaders and school districts are having to make extraordinarily difficult decisions about whether to continue in-person learning amid record communitywide surges in cases, hospitalizations and deaths.”

Excuse me, but these aren’t “extraordinarily difficult decisions” at all.

The Teachers’ Union has made those decisions for our illustrious political “leaders.”

“New York City’s decision to close schools indefinitely, and the decision in my home state of New Jersey to allow school districts to keep them open, offers a stark contrast in how the two states with the highest death rates for COVID-19 are managing this crisis.”

“As a pediatrician and a parent, I understand the fear, confusion, and even anger that parents and caregivers face today as policymakers grapple with school decisions.”

Can’t you just envision those policymakers “grappling” with those school decisions into the wee hours of the morning?!

“We know that being in the classroom benefits children socially, emotionally and academically.”

Oh, yeah…, so, what’s the problem?

Isn’t it all about the kids?

Of course it’s not.

Huge numbers of these kids have been thrown out with the trash by these supposed caring liberals.

Many of these kids depend on school for at least one or two decent meals each day.

“On the other hand, virtual learning can be a sound option — and when transmission rates rise to unsafe levels, a necessary one — if a student has a computer, a good Internet connection, a quiet workspace, and no special learning needs. For millions of families without these luxuries, however, it’s an unworkable burden and educational disadvantage that many children could bear for a lifetime.”

Ya…, “It’s an unworkable burden and educational disadvantage that many children could bear for a lifetime,” but it’s a sacrifice the liberals and the Teachers’ unions are willing to bear for them on their behalf.

“From a health perspective, it appears that most children fare well if infected, but they can still spread the coronavirus to higher-risk people in their homes, communities and yes, schools. But when schools have the necessary resources and follow strict protocols, in-person learning has worked remarkably well without accelerating community spread.”

Not according to the teachers, apparently.

“Knowing this, we should do all we can to keep kids in school by providing the funds for proper staffing, equipment, protective gear and ventilation systems. Without these supports, we cannot expect schools to remain open.”

Ok, there we go…, we just need to provide more funding.

We should all know by now that it’s always about the money.

The current CDC Director, Robert R. Redfield, says, “Schools are among the safest places kids can be.”

I guess he isn’t considered to have anything to do with “Science.”

“Achievement gaps could be exacerbated when students are out of school, placing yet another burden on children of color.”

“However, the science and data now tell us a much more nuanced story, and we must adapt as new information arrives. That is the fundamental value of rapid learning during a crisis. With differing approaches, schools have shown that safe in-person learning is possible.”

“That’s why New York City’s decision last week to close schools seems to be a case of following a rigid plan written before we knew schools could remain open safely. The city’s test-positive threshold of 3% — established well before the school year began — has been eclipsed, triggering closures. Yet a mere 0.23% of students in the city’s public schools have tested positive. In fact, New York schools have been a pandemic success story.”

“Governors nationwide are under pressure to follow New York’s lead and close schools, no matter what the data shows. With nearly 200,000 cases a day being reported in the U.S., some of those cases will undoubtedly be teachers, students and staff.”

Why would governors nationwide be under any kind of pressure to follow New York’s lead?

The state of New York, New York City, Governor Cuomo and Mayor DeBlasio have the worst COVID record of any state in the nation.

So, “the Pressure” is on other governors to follow their political lead, not their successful dealing with the virus lead.

Just so we’re clear about that.

“However, decisions on school closures should be driven by data on transmission linked to schools and not on anecdotes or outdated metrics. Public pressure, I fear, is going to make it increasingly difficult in the weeks ahead for governors to stick to the science-based guidance on school closures.”

“Science-based guidance?”

And “public pressure” has no effect on these slimy democrats anymore.

Their friends, the fake news, liberal propaganda, media will just ignore and spin “the pressure” whichever way they want.

“In the spring, New Jersey was among the hardest hit per capita by COVID-19, with the nation’s highest death rate. But this fall, New Jersey schools have not been the problem. The state’s governor, Phil Murphy, issued a joint statement with six other Northeast governors last week that said in part: ‘In-person learning is the best possible scenario for children, especially those with special needs and from low-income families.’”

“That’s the crux of why we need to do all we can to keep children in schools. The pandemic has disproportionately impacted Black, Latino and Native American communities with dramatically higher rates of infections, hospitalizations and deaths.”

Where is Black Lives Matter on this issue?

Where are any of the democrats on this issue?

Oh, I forgot…, the election is over, so the democrats can go back to ignoring any of the issues affecting the Black, Latino and Native American communities.

Just sayin’.

“Because of the inequitable way schools are funded in much of America, (And whose fault is that?) achievement gaps could be exacerbated when students are out of school, placing yet another burden on children of color at the very moment when our nation is forging a new path forward based on racial equity and justice.”

“We know, too, that education is just one facet of what our schools provide. Many families — especially those with parents working full-time, one-parent households, and low-income households — also rely on schools for healthy meals, technology support, and before- and after-hours child care.”

“The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the perversion of our national priorities. We need to treat teachers and school staff like the indispensable front-line workers they are and support them as such.”

I think we are, aren’t we?

The teachers appear to be the ones who aren’t comfortable being front-line workers.

Yes, “The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the perversion of our national priorities,” but the “perversions” are much more far reaching than the good doctor understands, or is willing to acknowledge.

“At the same time, we must reject the false choice that we either sacrifice teachers or do harm to our children. In the next critical months, we must come together and follow the science so that the greatest public health crisis in a century doesn’t also become an educational crisis.”

Uh…, the “educational crisis” is already here, and has been here for quite a while already.

Governor “Fredo” Cuomo…, I mean Governor Andrew Cuomo, of New York, would rather see the body count rise than a COVID vaccine under President Trump.

“The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan,” Cuomo told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America.

According to the New York Post Editorial Board, ‘“We can’t let this vaccine plan go forward the way Trump is planning it,’ Cuomo said. ‘We need to fix it or stop it before it does damage.’”

“Damage?”

What kind of “damage?”

“Cuomo says Trump vaccination plan is ‘flawed,’ and ‘learns nothing from the past.”

Okay, Fredo…, I doubt you have any understanding of The President’s plan, in this regard.

And, what does “learns nothing from the past” mean?

The “past” what?

Your whole perspective and intent is the only thing that’s “flawed” here, Fredo!

“It’s probably the lowest thing Governor Andrew Cuomo has ever done, and that’s saying something.”

Really, it’s not.

It’s not even close…, but go on.

“On Monday morning, when everyone else was celebrating the spectacular news that Pfizer’s vaccine for COVID-19 looks 90 percent effective, Cuomo, as is typical, reverted to politics.”

“First, he let people die in nursing homes because of his ineptitude.”

Excuse me, but it wasn’t “ineptitude.”

It was by design.

It was imperative to get the COVID-19 death numbers elevated at the time to add to their negative narrative regarding The President’s response to the China virus.

We were constantly being reminded how many people had died from the virus, when in reality the real number was only a fraction of the number we were constantly bombarded with.

How many times during the vice-presidential debate did “cackling Kamala” feel it was necessary to remind us that “over 200,000 people have died from the virus?”

Five times?

Ten times?

More?

In any regard, it was obvious that this was a talking point the democrats valued quite highly…, whether it was really accurate or not.

“Now Cuomo wants the body count to keep climbing because God forbid President Trump oversees a vaccine effort.”

Actually, it has to do with governmental control now, and not President Trump any longer.

‘“What on earth is Governor Cuomo talking about?’ Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) rightly said in a statement. ‘This is great news and everyone — Republicans and Democrats and apolitical folks — should all be jointly thrilled about the possibility of an effective vaccine.’”

The first mistake you’re making Senator Sasse is that you’re assuming we’re talking about a normal human being here…, when we’re not.  We’re talking about a deranged, power hungry, psycho.

‘“After this nasty virus has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and put millions out of work, it is beyond disgusting that Governor Cuomo would use a glimmer of hope for another worn-out ‘Trump is bad’ talking point. When we get a vaccine, we’re going to need all hands-on deck distributing it as fast as possible — shamelessly politicizing this is dangerous and stupid.’”

I’d lean more towards evil, but, yes, “stupid” and “dangerous” as well.

“Thank goodness it’s not up to Cuomo about how the nation proceeds. He messed up in New York, he can’t be allowed to fail nationally. Hopefully this puts to rest any idea of Cuomo serving in a Joe Biden cabinet — or even being governor again.”

Au contraire mon ami!

On the contrary my friends!

As far as the democrats are concerned, these comments put him at the front of the list…, on both accounts!

If you’re not already “following” me and you liked my blog(s) today, please choose to “follow” me, which will keep you up to date on all of my latest posts, and/or leave me a comment.   I value your feedback and I’d love to hear from you!

“Stupid is as stupid does!”

Maybe, “do as I command, but not as I do” would be more appropriate.

According to Adam Shaw of Fox News, “The office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom has told residents in the Golden State that if they go out to eat, they should be wearing a mask ‘in between bites’ to protect themselves from COVID-19.”

Seriously?!

Are you kidding me right now?!

Do you think it would be a good idea to pat your head and rub your tummy while chewing as well?

It has literally gotten to the point that I am embarrassed to concede that California is a part of The United States.

None of this stuff has anything to do with effective ways of controlling the China virus.

It’s all about government seeing how much dictating and controlling of our lives it can get away with in the name of “public safety.”

‘“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?’ an Oct. 3 tweet from the governor’s office says. ‘Don’t forget to keep your mask on in between bites.’”

“For emphasis, the tweet shows an image of someone at a dining seat wearing a mask, then not wearing a mask while taking a bite, and then putting the mask on again.”

“However, the image then advises people to ‘minimize the number of times you take your mask off.’”

So, I guess you’re either not supposed to finish your meal, or take really big bites.

C’mon!!!

Please tell me you can see through this insanity.

Because if enough people can’t or refuse to, “The Socialist People’s Republic of The United States” is just around the corner.

The “debate” that wasn’t a debate.

During the first presidential debate of 2020, nothing was actually debated.

Questions were asked.

Questions were sidestepped.

Questions were ignored.

Statements were made.

Statements were questioned.

Accusations were made.

Accusations were denied.

Accusations were responded to.

Lies were uttered as attacks and defenses.

But it seemed that nothing was actually “debated.”

According to Tyler Olson of Fox News, “The first debate of the 2020 presidential election on Tuesday night was fiery from beginning to end.”

“President Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden attacked each other in starkly personal terms for more than 90 minutes as moderator Chris Wallace worked to get both candidates, but especially [President] Trump, to follow the debate rules the candidates had agreed to.”

President Trump was obviously quite aggressive, but I think I have to give him a bit of a pass on that.

It is not often that The President gets the opportunity to face his accusers.

Since day one on the job, The President has been spied on, attacked on a daily basis, was forced to deal with the fake Russian collusion Mueller investigation, then endure an impeachment hoax, and then he was forced to deal with the Chinese virus, which was unleashed on our country by China and adopted as a political strategy by the democrats and the fake news media.

Now here, President Trump had the man right in front of him, who has called him a racist and a xenophobe.

Here he had the man right in front of him, who is a card-carrying member of the political establishment which has sought to discredit and attack him at every turn.

President Trump had a boat load of pent up frustration that was just primed to be unloaded on Joe Biden.

There was no way these time constraints or a moderator were going to get in his way.

“The ‘conversation’ ranged from the coronavirus crisis to the Supreme Court vacancy to health care. It’s not clear how much substance voters could get out of the debate, however, as it largely consisted of lines aimed to appeal to partisans.”

I feel that President Trump’s supporters could relate to exactly what he was talking about at times, while Biden supporters, who have relied on the fake news for their information, may have been hearing about many of these issues for the first time and may have needed a little more groundwork or background in order for The President to make his point effectively.

The limited time format just didn’t allow for this to happen in many instances, however.

In a nutshell, we had President Trump insisting the radical left was in control of the democrat party, while Joe Biden proclaimed, “I am the Democratic Party right now.”

“It was one of the strongest statements from Biden to date distancing himself from the farthest-left wings of the party. [President] Trump would continue to hammer this point throughout the ‘debate.’”

Biden constantly distanced himself from the radical left regarding healthcare, and global warming, while still managing to remain pretty far out there.  He seemed to be in “no man’s land” on a lot of these issues.

“During a discussion about global warming later in the debate, Biden said ‘the Green New Deal is not my plan.’”

I’m sure Joe will be receiving calls today from his running mate, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez regarding many of his statements.

President Trump clearly established himself as “the law and order candidate.”

And Joe Biden blatantly lied about all of the money his son, Hunter, had received from Russian, Chinese, and Ukrainian interests.

Joe lied about President Trump not acting quickly enough regarding the China virus, when in fact it was he and his democrat friends that ridiculed the President for taking steps to protect the country at the time.

And lastly, President Trump attempted to show a clear difference between the two of them, by emphasizing that Biden would close the country again and that the shutdowns are “hurting people both financially and in their mental health.”

Biden said keeping the country shut down would help the economy long term.

Well, there you have my take and analysis on the first presidential “debate.”

It may be the last presidential “debate” as well.

The liberals just can’t afford for any of these nagging facts to get out there anymore!

China’s virus “crisis.”

“The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word ‘crisis.’ One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger–but recognize the opportunity.”  ― John F. Kennedy

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, “The Chinese government intentionally manufactured and released the COVID-19 virus that led to mass shutdowns and deaths across the world, a top virologist and whistleblower told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday.”

Wait, what?!

Let’s hear that again.

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, “THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT INTENTIONALLY MANUFACTURED AND RELEASED THE COVID-19 VIRUS THAT LED TO MASS SHUTDOWNS AND DEATHS ACROSS THE WORLD A TOP VIROLOGIST AND WHISTLEBLOWER told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday.”

Well, if you’re a liberal, you can’t be much more credentialed than that…, a scientist and a whistleblower?!!!

It would appear that China calculated the DANGER of the virus to themselves, while recognizing the OPPORTUNITY to enhance their position on economic playing fields all around the world, and especially with the United States, and deemed this trade-off to be acceptable.

Even though the virus originated in China, China comes in ranked 41st for number of cases with 85,223 and only 4,634 deaths.

How could that be?

The US is ranked first in cases with 6.72 million cases and 200,000 deaths.

India is ranked second with 5.12 million cases and 83,200 deaths.

And Brazil is ranked third with 4.42 million cases and 34,000 deaths.

Is it coincidence that three of the top four democracies in the world ended-up being the hardest hit in the world, by far?

And that’s not to mention the collateral damage worldwide regarding the economic, social, general health and mental health impact to all of the countries around the world.

Just some food for thought.

“Carlson specifically asked Dr. Li-Meng Yan whether she believed the Chinese Communist Party released the virus ‘on purpose.’ ‘Yes, of course, it’s intentionally,’ she responded on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.’”

“Yan said more evidence would be released but pointed to her own high-ranking position at a World Health Organization [WHO] reference lab as a reason to trust her allegation.”

‘“So, together with my experience, I can tell you, this is created in the lab … and also, it is spread to the world to make such damage.’”

“Yan’s comments conflicted with the opinion of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and White House coronavirus adviser, who previously cast doubt on the idea the virus was artificially created. In May, he told National Geographic: ‘If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats, and what’s out there now is very, very strongly leaning toward this [virus] could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated — the way the mutations have naturally evolved.’”

Excuse me Dr. Fauci…, but you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about here.

You have absolutely no idea of what went on in that Wuhan lab.

And, you’re only throwing shade on the idea of the virus being man-made because you and your deep state friends are all a part of problem.

“Other scientists have also panned the idea that COVID-19 served as a sort of bioweapon or was released by a lab.”

On what basis have they “panned” the idea?

These other scientists also have absolutely no idea of what went on in that Wuhan lab, and should just keep their opinions to themselves.

You can always find a gaggle of “other scientists” who will either agree or disagree with whatever narrative you wish to promote.

We are all aware of this now, so citing scientific support really doesn’t add any value to your propaganda anymore.

Just sayin”.

“Fox News previously reported on Yan back in July, when she blew the whistle on China’s alleged attempts to suppress information about its handling of the virus. With a vast network of contacts in Chinese medical facilities, Yan attempted to gather more information about the virus as China blocked overseas experts from conducting research in the country.”

“Her revelations fueled ongoing complaints that the Chinese government failed to tell the world early on about the virus’ threat. Specifically, she believes the Chinese government ignored research that could have saved lives. The State Department did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.”

And the ever-complicit fake news media has, of course, chosen to ignore Dr. Li-Meng Yan, while choosing to support their good friends in the Chinese Communist Party.

“In response, her former employer, the University of Hong Kong, criticized her account. A press release noted ‘that the content of the said news report does not accord with the key facts as we understand them.’”

‘“Specifically, Dr Yan never conducted any research on human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus at [the University of Hong Kong] during December 2019 and January 2020, her central assertion of the said interview.’”

Please remember that the Chinese Communist party’s fake news is even faker than our own fake news…, so what was said there is to be completely expected.

“Yan, who said she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel coronavirus, fled China and currently fears retaliation. She was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the University/WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 to look into the odd cluster of SARS-like cases coming out of mainland China at the end of December 2019.”

Now, let’s dive a little deeper down the rabbit hole.

Why would the US have funded the controversial Wuhan lab?

Wait…, what?

That’s right…, the US funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility.

Wait…, say again.

The US funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility.

I ask you…, why in God’s name would we be funding anything the Chinese Communist Party is doing?!

In case you forgot, we are already in debt to China up to our eyeballs, and here we are funding the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility?!!!

I keep feeling our government is incredibly stupid, but then I have to remember they only want us to think they’re inept, when in reality they are corrupt and calculating.

Justin Fendos, a professor at Dongseo University in South Korea, for The Diplomat, an international online news magazine, reports that “Newsweek recently put out some surprising reports that the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) had funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The WIV is the level four research facility suspected by some of being a possible source for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has already been on record confirming and defending this funding, saying it was ‘to protect American people from labs that aren’t up to standard.’”

Nice try Mike…, but I’m not biting on that one. Please don’t tell me that you are one of “them” too?!

“According to Newsweek, funding for the WIV occurred in two phases. The first took place from 2014 to 2019, through a $3.7 million project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses. This work was largely led by Dr. Zhengli Shi, known to many as ‘batwoman’ for her years investigating caves in search of new bat viruses.”

Okay, this phase I can understand, being started during Obama’s time in office.

“The second phase began shortly after, with another $3.7 million. Unlike the first, this project appears to have included work on ‘gain-of-function’ research that investigates how a virus can gain the ability to infect a new type of animal.”

Now this second phase is the one I don’t understand.  I’m guessing the Trump administration was just unaware of this funding, and now Pompeo is just trying to justify it somehow.

“Anyone with a vague sense of current events would, understandably, be concerned that COVID-19 might have been produced through this research.”

Ya think?!

“The connections to the NIH would also be unsettling, offering the possibility that the U.S. government may be complicit, having unnecessarily ‘outsourced’ dangerous research.”

Again, ya think?!

I’m not only “concerned” and “unsettled,” I’m disgusted and outraged.

“Although strong denials by both Chinese and American officials and several pieces of scientific research have concluded COVID-19 is not man-made, the connection between the NIH and WIV still behooves critical examination.”

Again, the obligatory denials and supportive research by the co-conspirators is to be expected.

“Why would the NIH want to fund the WIV to begin with?” Professor Fendos asks.

Yes…, exactly…, why would they?

Let’s take a look at the possible lame reasons they are prepared to offer!

“The first, and perhaps most important reason, may be just as Pompeo said: to help bring Chinese labs up to higher safety standards.”

Oh, yes!  This is a major concern of ours.  None of our other social programs in this country could use almost $8 million.  No, not at all.

“Another reason the NIH may have decided to provide funding is to help foster international cooperation and better communication.”

Oh, yes!  We can all see China’s increased willingness to cooperate now!

“A third reason could be the fact that the United States has long held a fierce debate about the ethics and risks of gain-of-function (GOF) research. Critics, such as Harvard epidemiologist Marc Lipsitch, have argued that such work ‘entails a unique risk that a laboratory accident could spark a pandemic, killing millions.’”

Would that include an intentional “laboratory accident?”

“Unfortunately, from the public’s perspective, reports about the connection between the NIH and WIV are at risk of feeding conspiracy theory fires. With some Chinese officials already blaming the United States for the pandemic and the Trump administration appearing intent on blaming China in return without divulging any decisive evidence, it is quite difficult, even for experts, to develop a fully-informed opinion about what exactly happened. And therein lies a dangerous problem: unanswered questions can only deepen peoples’ suspicions about science.”

“Feeding conspiracy theory fires?!

“Chinese officials blaming the United States for the pandemic?!

No “decisive evidence?!”

HOW CAN CHINA, WITH A STARIGHT FACE, POSSIBLY BLAME THE UNITED STATES FOR THIS VIRUS THAT ORIGINATED IN CHINA (MAN-MADE OR NOT) AND WAS INTENTIONALLY ALLOWED TO LEAVE CHINA AND INFECT THE REST OF THE WORLD?!!!!!!!!!

HOW?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Put simply, the circumstantial evidence surrounding the WIV and its connections to the NIH are a bad look for science.”

Not to mention the Chinese Communist Party and the liberal “deep state” in the United States.

And do you think using the term “bad look” is appropriate?

I was thinking more of a term like a “politically corrupt look,” or how about an “inexcusably evil look?”

“As the pandemic rages on, the worst possible thing is for the rumor mill to latch onto uncertainties and convince more people that the voice of science is not to be trusted.”

Translation: The worst possible thing would be for the whole ugly truth to come out about this virus.

“COVID-19 may have begun in a lab, or not. Either way, the only thing that remains certain is that science will be the brightest light guiding us out of the pandemic. Since there will be plenty of time to divvy blame later.”

I’m sorry professor, but there won’t be “plenty of time to divvy blame later” for the 941,000 people who have died from the China virus, so far.

Has COVID-19 become an excuse for everything?

It seems that almost every company or governmental entity I have called for assistance the last few months always starts with the disclaimer, “due to the COVID-19 pandemic…”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic…:

…you may experience a longer wait time.

…we will not be able to take your call.

…we are limiting inquiries via email only.

…we are unable to guarantee you will receive a response at all.

…we won’t be able to do this.

…and we won’t be able to do that.

Please tell me why customer service should be affected…, when these people are on the phone and can work safely from their homes?

“He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.” —Benjamin Franklin

David Lazarus, Business Columnist for The Los Angeles Times reports, “Among the various things the COVID-19 pandemic has changed, and not for the better, is customer service. Just ask anyone who has tried to contact California’s Employment Development Department with questions about unemployment benefits.”

That goes for the Unemployment Benefits Departments in any state, as well.

“A study last year in the Harvard Business Review found that the average American consumer spends 13 hours a year stuck on hold trying to resolve problems.”

And that seems like a conservative estimate to me.

“A third of disgruntled customers have to make two or more calls to resolve their issue, the study said. Many just give up.”

“More than three-quarters of consumers come away ‘less than satisfied’ with a company’s customer service.”

“And to no one’s surprise, the study found that in many cases, companies design their customer service departments to prevent irate customers from solving their problems.”

Now wait a minute there, Mr. Lazarus, I am surprised by this.

Why would a company design their customer service to prevent customers from solving their problems?

‘“This structure, we argue, keeps a lid on the amount of redress customers are willing to seek,’ the researchers determined. ‘In other words, by forcing customers to jump through hoops, the organization helps curb its redress payouts.’”

Ohhh, I can see that…, but not all customers seeking help are looking to get money back.

What about these customers?

“The Harvard Business Review study found that the larger a company’s market share, the less it cares what customers think of it, in any case. It cited in particular ‘airlines, internet, cable and telephone service providers.’”

‘“This may help us understand why some of the most hated companies in America are so profitable and why customer service, unfortunately, remains so frustrating,’ the study concluded.”

And the COVID-19 pandemic was just sitting there as an excuse too good to pass up.

The latest China virus propaganda, courtesy of Esquire Magazine.

According to Jack Holmes of Esquire magazine, “The Hot New Conservative Talking Point on COVID-19 Is Extremely Wrong.”

Is it?

Is it really, Jack?

Is it really “extremely wrong?”

“The weekend’s big talking point for people more concerned with propping up the president’s campaign than grappling with reality was that a new CDC report found 94 percent of people who have been recorded as dying from COVID-19 have also had other causes of death listed.”

I’m not sure exactly how this can be viewed as, “propping up the president’s campaign,” unless exposing the truth about the China virus accomplishes this.

And you, Mr. Holmes, and your liberal friends, seem to be the ones “grappling with reality.”

Well, I guess you’re not really “grappling…,” it’s more like intentionally twisting reality.

“The thinking from some exceptionally large brains in the conservative media was that this meant only six percent of the recorded COVID deaths are actually deaths due to COVID, so that a big chunk of the 183,000 recorded deaths in the U.S. somehow shouldn’t count.”

Well, I gotta tell you, Jack…, 100% minus 94% does leave us with 6%, now doesn’t it?

And, these “large brained” people you speak of are not implying that the China virus had nothing to do with the deaths of the 94%…, they’re just correctly pointing out that only 6%, or 10,980 people died solely from the virus, with no underlying conditions, which would be about .0033% of the US population.

Even the entire 183,000 number is only .0555% of the US population.

Remember that .5 would represent one half of 1 percent.

Again, who do you feel is “grappling with reality,” Mr. Holmes?

Comparatively, in 2020, an estimated 606,520 people will die of cancer in the United States.

That’s 3 times the COVID related number, and 55 times the COVID only number.

And, the number of people who die from heart disease are pretty similar to the cancer numbers.

Holmes continues by saying, “This hasn’t yet spread as widely yet as some other right-wing tropes [please note that ‘trope’ is new liberal buzzword, meaning a ‘figurative idea’], but these days, you have to take it all seriously—and nip it in the bud early.”

Yes, we know Jack…, you gotta nip those nasty facts in the bud early, and put the proper liberal spin on them as soon as possible!

“It’s understandable that the president’s partisans would prefer not to confront his actual record on the pandemic.”

Now wait one darn minute there, Jack.

Who says, “The president’s partisans would prefer not to confront his actual record on the pandemic?”

I mean bsides you, of course?

Most people, who support The President, which would include me, feel he has done a good job dealing with the pandemic. It is the democrat governors and democrat mayors who have mishandled the handling of the China virus in my opinion, while Biden condemned President Trump’s early flight restrictions from China, and Pelosi and DeBlasio encouraged their constituents to ignore the virus and go out and have a good time.  You know, your friends, Jack.

Mr. Holmes then goes on to say, “Much like he’d [The President would] rather dwell on—and encourage—the unrest in the nation’s streets.”

I’m not sure where this bit of liberal propaganda BS came from, but it does give us clearer view as to where you’re coming from, Jack, if indeed we needed a clearer view.
