Totalitarianism in America…, today!

Are you totally sure?

Totally.

It could be characterized as a form of neo-leftist fascism, as well.

According to dictionary.com, totalitarianism means, “A system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state.”

Starting to sound familiar?

Yael Halon of Fox News reports that, “Ex-Clinton adviser [and ex-Al Gore advisor] [and renowned liberal author], Naomi Wolf, warns US becoming ‘totalitarian state before our eyes under Biden.’”

We really have to give Dr. Naomi Wolf some credit here.

Her books and her concerns about this issue were really born at the end of the George W. Bush’s second term in office, back in 2006. Her warnings and concerns then intensified during the Trump years, as she loyally parroted the false, democrat, anti-conservative, and anti-Trump propaganda.

Again, to her credit, she could not intellectually accept the democrat narrative any longer as she witnessed what was occurring, leading up to the 2020 election, and what has taken place since.

Dr. Wolf has now correctly come to realize IT IS THE DEMOCRATS WHO ARE ATTEMPTING TO ESTABLISH A TOTALITARIAN STATE…, not President Trump, and not the conservatives.

“The author tells ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ that Americans must wake up before it is ‘too dangerous to fight back.’”

“Naomi Wolf sounds alarm at the growing power of ‘autocratic tyrants.’ America is becoming a ‘totalitarian state before our eyes’ under President Biden’s leadership, feminist author and former Democratic adviser Naomi Wolf told ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.’”

“Wolf, who served as an adviser on Bill Clinton’s reelection campaign in 1996, told host Tucker Carlson that in her view, the United States is swiftly ‘moving into a coup situation, a police state’ as a result of Biden’s ongoing coronavirus-related economic shutdowns. Wolf added that she believes the orders are being improperly extended under the ‘guise of a real medical pandemic.’”

‘“That is not a partisan thing,’ Wolf told Carlson. ‘That transcends everything that you and I might disagree or agree on. That should bring together left and right to protect our Constitution.’”

“Wolf has ramped up her warnings against extended lockdowns on Twitter in recent months. In November, the author wrote on Twitter that Biden’s openness to reinstating additional shutdowns made her question her decision to vote for him.”

I’m sure we’ll be hearing shortly that her Twitter account has been suspended, or cancelled altogether.

‘“The state has now crushed businesses, kept us from gathering in free assembly to worship as the First Amendment provides, is invading our bodies … which is a violation of the Fourth Amendment, restricting movement, fining us in New York state … the violations go on and on,’ she said.”

“The outspoken liberal, who previously authored a book outlining the ten steps that ‘would-be tyrants always take when they want to close down a democracy,’ believes the United States is heading toward what she refers to as ‘step 10.’”

‘“Whether they are on the left or the right, they [totalitarians] do these same ten things,’ Wolf explained, ‘and now we’re at something I never thought I would see in my lifetime … it is step 10 and that is the suspension of the rule of law and that is when you start to be a police state, and we’re here. There is no way around it.’”

“Wolf said she has interviewed U.S. citizens of various backgrounds and political affiliations who are in a state of ‘shock and horror’ as ‘autocratic tyrants at the state and now the national level are creating this kind of merger of corporate power and government power, which is really characteristic of the totalitarian fascism in the ‘20’s,’ she told Carlson.”

‘“They are using that to engage in emergency orders that simply strip us of our rights; rights to property, rights to assembly, rights to worship, all the rights the Constitution guarantees.’”

Dr. wolf also noted during the interview, that nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the rights provided there could be suspended for any reason.

“Wolf called the United States’ overall response to the coronavirus pandemic ‘completely unprecedented,’ arguing that ‘lockdowns have never been done in society and really, we are turning into a of totalitarian state right before everyone’s eyes.’”

‘“I really hope we wake up quickly,’ she said, ‘because history also shows that it’s a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.’”

Wow…, those are strong words, coming from someone who has been a self-proclaimed liberal for the majority of her life.

And I’m sure she still thinks of herself as a liberal, although not a “liberal” with totalitarian ambitions.

In her book “The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot,” published in 2007, Wolf takes a historical look at the rise of fascism, outlining 10 steps necessary for a fascist group (or government) to destroy the democratic character of a nation-state. The book details how this pattern was implemented in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and elsewhere, and analyzes its emergence and application of all the 10 steps in American political affairs since the September 11 attacks. Alex Beam wrote in The New York Times: “In the book, Wolf insists that she is not equating [George W.] Bush with Hitler, nor the United States with Nazi Germany, then proceeds to do just that.”

Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries,” published in 2008, was written as a sequel to “The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.” In the book, Wolf looks at times and places in history where citizens were faced with the closing of an open society and successfully fought back.

Leaders frequently attributed to ruling totalitarian regimes, from left to right and top to bottom in picture, include Joseph Stalin, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union; Adolf Hitler, former Führer of Germany; Mao Zedong, former Chairman of the Communist Party of China; Benito Mussolini, former Duce of Italy; and Kim Il-sung, the Eternal President of North Korea.

The NEW totalitarians:

It is my opinion that Joe Biden is just a puppet in this whole grand scheme, and that he is just happy to be in the White House, to read what they put on the teleprompter for him, and to sign what they tell him to.

Kamala Harris, also, really doesn’t factor into much of this either.  She was a human prop who was used to garner minority and female votes, and that’s about it.

The real “New totalitarians” are those shown after those two.

I have heard it said that George Soros could be one of the people who really dictates what they want done. This is the real difference betwen this “new totalitarianism” and totalitarian regimes of the past. In the past, these regimes were all led by tyranical “front men.” Now, the people calling the shots are ghosts behind the scenes, but just as dangerous.

The other cast of characters: AOC, “the squad,” Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, et al, along with mainstream media, and the “useful idiots” of the “deep state,” are really into socialism and not so much the totalitarian aspect of what is happening around them, although they all seem to be willing, if not unknowing, participants at this point.

Again, like the good doctor said, “I really hope we wake up quickly, because history also shows that it’s a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.”

Illegitimate, racist, and cognitively challenged, Joe Biden.

During “President” Biden’s town hall, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tuesday night, Biden demonstrated, again, his TRUE perception of black and brown people.

And good luck finding an article about his regrettable comments, because it doesn’t exist.

These remarks were apparently deemed to be unimportant, not worth reporting, and something to be ignored by the mainstream media.

Remember, if they don’t report it, it didn’t really happen.

I bet they only wish former President Trump had said something as stupid!

Now that would have been a story!

I can only comment about these remarks because I heard them.

Thankfully, Newsweek provided a complete transcript of the town hall meeting, otherwise I would have to rely completely on my memory.

As reported by Newsweek, “President Joe Biden spoke to CNN’s Anderson Cooper at a town hall meeting hosted by CNN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday.”

“Biden discussed a range of topics, from when every American will be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and the end of the pandemic, to being ‘tired of talking about Donald Trump’ while answering questions from Cooper and members of the audience.”

It was when Biden was taking questions from the audience that he let his true feelings be known.

“AUDIENCE MEMBER: God bless you. Mr. President, hello. My name is Dr. Dessie Levy. And my question to you is considering COVID 19 and its significant impact on black Americans, especially here in Milwaukee and thus, the exacerbation of our racial disparities in health care, we have seen less than three percent of blacks and less than five percent of Hispanics given the total number of vaccines that have been administered to this point.”

“Is this a priority for the Biden administration? And how will the disparities be addressed? And that’s both locally and nationally.”

“BIDEN: Well, first of all, it is a priority, number one. Number two, there’s two reasons for it being the way it is. Number one, there is some history of blacks being used as guinea pigs in other experiments as I need not tell you, Doctor, over the last 50 to 75 to 100 years in America. So, there is a concern about getting the vaccine whether it’s available or not. But the biggest part of this is access –”

“AUDIENCE MEMBER: Mm-hmm.”

“BIDEN: — physical access. That’s why last week I opened up, I met with the Black Caucus in the United States Congress and agreed that I would — all of the — all of community health centers now, which take care of the toughest of the toughest neighborhoods in terms of illness, they are going to get a million doses, you know, a week, and how we’re going to move forward because they’re in the neighborhood.”

“Secondly, we have opened up — and I’m making sure that there’s doses of vaccine for over 6,700 pharmacies because almost everyone lives within — not always walking distance, but within the distance of being able to go to the pharmacy like when you got your flu shot. That is also now being opened.”

Unless your local pharmacy happened to be burned down during the peaceful protests last year!

“BIDEN: Thirdly, I also am providing for mobile — mobile vans, mobile units to go into neighborhoods that are hard to get to because people are — for example, even though everyone is within, you know, basically five miles of a Walgreen’s, let’s say, the fact is if you’re 70 years old, you don’t have a vehicle and you live in a tough neighborhood, meaning, you’re — it’s a high concentration of COVID, you’re not likely to be able to walk five miles to go get a vaccine.”

By a “tough neighborhood,” you mean a neighborhood where the police are being defunded and forced to operate with one hand tied behind their backs?

“BIDEN: The other thing we found is – I’m sorry to go on, but this is really important to me — the other part — portion is a lot of people don’t know how to register. Not everybody in the community, in the Hispanic and the African-American community, particularly in rural areas that are distant and/or inner-city districts know how to use — know how to get online to determine how to get in line for that COVID vaccination at the Walgreen’s or at the particular store.”

Wait, whaaaat?!

Did you really have to qualify these remarks around the African-American and Hispanic communities?

So, African-Americans and Hispanics don’t know how to use their phone or a computer and get on the internet?

Is that what you’re saying, Illegitimate Joe?

Because it seems like that’s what you’re saying.

“BIDEN: So, we’re also – I’ve committed to spend a billion dollars on public education to help people figure out how they can get in there.”

So, you’ve committed A BILLION DOLLARS to show “these people,” people of color, how to get on to the internet?

Wow…, it must be harder than I thought!

Hey, Joe, I got it…, maybe you can hire some white people to shown them how it’s done?!

How about those people you kicked off the XL Pipeline?

But only the whiteys, of course.

And where is this intense training going to take place, Joe?

Will you have to build training centers?

And how long will the training be?

You know, the training to have the person press or click on the Google icon?

It may take a while for these African-Americans and Hispanics to catch on, you know.

“BIDEN: So, it’s all about trying to more rationalize in detail so ordinary people like me can understand, I mean that sincerely. I mean, my grandchildren can use that online, you know, make me look like I’m, you know, the seventh century, but all kidding aside. This is a process. And it’s going to take time.”

I am more than willing to put “all kidding aside,” Joe, but this really isn’t funny.

In fact, it’s quite sad.

YOU are quite sad.

And you don’t have to convince me that you’re operating as if you were from the seventh century either!

When will we get back to normal?

This is a question on a lot of people’s minds, and a question that a lot of people are asking.

My simple answer is, WE WILL NEVER GET BACK TO “NORMAL,” especially if you or your fellow citizens were foolish enough to elect a democrat governor or a democrat mayor.

Things will never be like they were pre-2020 and pre-COVID.

It’s not that we can’t get back to “normal.”

The truth of the matter is there are groups of people, people with a lot of power and influence, who don’t want our country to get back to “normal.”

Our “normal” way of life had way too much freedom and way too much capitalism in it, according to these people.

We could go where we wanted, do what we wanted, live like we wanted, and work like we wanted.

That, my friends, is all over now, and it ain’t coming back…, at least back to “normal.”

A precedent has now been set, regarding our response to the China virus.

A precedent that will now be retriggered every year, or every other year.

I’m sorry to say it, but masks are never going away now.

We will only continue to experience “new normals” from now on…, and they won’t be good.

According to Cornelius Phanthanh, the publisher of the article, Why Japanese wear masks: a look behind health, etiquette, and culture, “Not only relegated to flu season or fears of catching colds, masks have long been a regular part of Japanese society. They’ve evolved to carry a wider definition, some not having anything to do with health reasons at all.”

Ralph Jennings, of VOANEWS.com, says, “Not Just Coronavirus: Asians Have Worn Face Masks for Decades.”

“Asians, especially in Japan, China and Taiwan, have worn masks for a host of cultural and environmental reasons, including non-medical ones, since at least the 1950s.”

“Masks became a regular part of the street scene in parts of Asia after the deadly severe outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) that started in China in 2002 before spreading to Singapore and Taiwan over the following year. Today manufacturers in East Asia are pumping out 10 to 20 million units per month.”

“The SARS outbreak was a ‘turning point,’ for Asia, said Chen Yih-chun, director of the National Taiwan University Hospital Center for Infection Control in Taipei.”

‘“Why we always mention the SARS matter is because during SARS and before that to wear a mask was impossible and patients didn’t want to cooperate,’ Chen said.”

“But Japanese had worn them even in the 1950s as a safeguard against rising air pollution, a byproduct of industrialization. Now people who feel just ‘under the weather’ in Japan wear them to be polite, Sutton said.”

“The website credits masks further with hiding people’s identities. To that end, the black face mask became a symbol of last year’s Hong Kong protests attended by citizens hoping to avoid detection by police or their employers.”

“In Taiwan, older people add sunglasses and sun hats to masks to obscure their entire faces. The full blockade wards off sunburns and, some users say, stops common air pollution. High-tech pollution barrier masks are a norm in China’s major cities.”

“The common use of masks in Asia now goes beyond official health guidance as panic spreads about catching the coronavirus and people already find masks acceptable. In Taiwan, as well as South Korea, the rage in mask buying has prompted rationing.”

“Governments in Singapore and Taiwan recommend masks primarily for people who are already sick. The World Health Organization says healthy people need not wear masks unless caring for someone with the new coronavirus.”

“Common surgical masks stop only droplets from the mouth and nose, not airborne germs.”

DID YOU GET THAT EVERYONE?

MASKS DO NOT PROTECT US FROM THE VIRUS, OR ANY VIRUS FOR THAT MATTER!

“Taiwan Health and Welfare Minister Chen Shih-chung advises against masks for healthy people unless they’re in crowds, where someone might cough or sneeze.”

‘“We’re still saying that healthy people basically don’t need to wear face mask, but we still want to advise that once you reach a crowded place for a long time, to wear a mask can protect yourself and protect other people,’ Chen said.”

DID YOU GET THAT, EVERYONE?

HEALTHY PEOPLE DON’T NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK.

AND WHY IS THAT?

BECAUSE IT IS UNHEALTHY FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK ALL OF THE TIME!

SAY WHAT?!

IT IS UNHEALTHY FOR HEALTHY PEOPLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK ALL OF THE TIME!

The truth of the matter is, if we would take extra precautions for older people and people with pre-existing conditions, the China virus is no more dangerous than the annual flu for the rest of us.

The truth of the matter is THESE EGGHEADS AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS SHUT DOWN THE ECONOMY AND OUR LIVES FOR NO GOOD REASON!

Well, I shouldn’t say for no good reason, especially for them.

Their “good reason” was to tank our unbelievable economy.

Because without doing that, the democrats had no chance of defeating President Trump in the 2020 election.

And the way it turned out, they still couldn’t beat him…, at least fair and square.

COVID-19 was a win-win for the democrats and the Communist Chinese Party.

For the rest of us, it was a lose-lose.

Now we’re supposed to wear two masks?!

According to Alexander Tin, for CBS News, “CDC [Center for Disease Control] recommends double masks to help protect against COVID-19.”

So, does that mean for the last year we’ve not been properly protected with just one mask?

That would explain why the infection numbers have been so high for so long.

Thanks CDC, for your flawed recommendations once again.

Remember…, we have to “follow the science,” even if “the science” doesn’t know where it’s going!

“After months of demands for federal health officials to update mask recommendations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new guidelines Wednesday that include wearing well-fitting face masks or two masks at a time to help curb the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Who, exactly, has been demanding “federal health officials to update mask recommendations,” by the way?

The only thing most people are demanding, as far I know, is for the CDC to come out and admit that masks are not really effective in stopping the virus, which obviously now, they’re admitting they’re not.

They admit that even two masks will not stop the transfer of the China virus.

Don’t believe me?

Hospitals didn’t let visitors in even if you were wearing a mask.

Now try visiting someone in the hospital wearing two masks…, they still won’t let you in.

If masks really worked, why would hospitals not let family members visit their loved ones if they were wearing one…, or two?

BECAUSE MASKS DON’T WORK!!!

“The updated guidance follows the release of new research from the CDC which tested various masks in a lab setting and found evidence that combining a cloth mask over a surgical mask could dramatically reduce both the spread of the virus to others and exposure to the virus oneself.”

“Reduces,” not eliminates.

We’ve been dealing with the China virus for like a year now, and just now they’re coming up with this two-mask thing?!

“The CDC’s new recommendations advise Americans to select masks with a nose wire that can be adjusted for a snug fit, and to use a mask fitter or brace to better seal their masks. The CDC also recommends wearing a mask with multiple layers for greater protection, or layering a cloth mask over a disposable medical mask.”

“For a better fit, it advises knotting the ear loops of the disposable mask and then tucking and flattening the extra material on the sides.”

Whatever.

‘“I want to be clear that these new scientific data released today do not change the specific recommendations about who should wear a mask or when they should wear one. But they do provide new information on why wearing a well-fitting mask is so important,’ CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said at a White House COVID-19 briefing.”

You want to be “clear,” Ms. Walensky?

Then you should try harder.

“For the new study, CDC researchers tested combinations of multi-layered cloth and common surgical or medical procedure masks in a laboratory, simulating breathing and coughing between pairs of dummies.”

“Between pairs of dummies?”

C’mon…, these CDC researchers deserve a little more respect than that, don’t they?

Well…, maybe not!

No…, definitely, not.

“Dummies” it is!

“When only a disposable mask was worn, just 42% of cough droplets were blocked in the experiment. Combining the disposable mask with a cloth mask on top blocked 92.5% of particles expelled from the cough.”

Okay…, we get the “droplets” thing…, but how much of virus sized particles are blocked?

I’ve heard a good analogy for how much “virus” a typical mask blocks is, envision throwing sand at a chain-link fence.

Ha, ya…, that’s about it.

“The new research comes after months of pleas by advocates for the CDC to update its guidance to include recommending wearing two masks, after other studies and anecdotal evidence suggested the move could curb the spread of the virus.”

If two is better than one, then three must be better than two!

How about four?!

No, wait, I’ve got it!

How about wearing just one mask that actually works?!

“The agency’s top officials had declined to change their official recommendations until this new research had been completed, though many — from President Biden to Dr. Anthony Fauci — had already been spotted wearing two masks.”

Should taxpayers get a rebate for schools that aren’t open?

I believe this is a valid and an honest question.

If you pay local property taxes on your home or business, the lion’s share of what you pay goes towards funding your local schools.

Taxpayers pay these school taxes, whether they have school-aged children or not, in order to guarantee the children in their community receive an education, and eventually, hopefully, become intelligent and productive members of society…, at least until they go to college.

If our local governments decide to close our schools, should we still be paying for them?

If they decided to discontinue garbage collection, would you still be forced to pay for that?

Just sayin’.

It really doesn’t matter if you think the schools should be closed or not.

It really doesn’t matter whether your local government is “following the science” or not.

If the children of our community are not receiving the education we are paying for (and I’m sorry, but this distance learning crap doesn’t count), why shouldn’t the taxpayers get at least a percentage (a big percentage) of the money back that they paid?

Why should teachers get paid for a job they aren’t doing?

Why should the local school district be paid for the upkeep, utilities, and support staffs for buildings our children aren’t using?

And, again, I’m sorry, but this distance learning crap doesn’t count.

No wonder why the teachers are hesitant about going back to work, like in Chicago.

Why go back when you can use COVID as a ready-made excuse, and continue to be paid for doing next to nothing?

Why go back when all of the “the scientists” in the teachers’ unions are overriding the scientists from the CDC (Center for Disease Control)?

Now I’ve heard that the Biden administration considers a school “re-opened” if they hold classes one day a week.

If you say so, Illegitimate Joe.

This was one of the Biden administration’s “clarifications” of their official policy.

That’s funny, because only a month ago these “clarifications” were called lies.

If it’s one thing we have learned, it’s that “it’s all about the money,” and not “all about the kids.”

If the teachers stopped getting paid, and the school districts stopped getting their share of the money, the schools would be reopening so fast it would make your head spin!

Of course, hell would freeze over before a penny of taxpayer money was ever returned to the taxpayers.

That being said, there are many taxpayers across our country who really should be receiving some of their hard-earned money back.

What goes around comes around.

Restaurant owners in Democrat controlled states and Democrat controlled cities should post signs saying democrat politicians are not welcome, just like restaurants did in these cities to conservatives, or has your memory faded regarding these practices?

So, this type of action has precedent.

And then these signs should remain up even after these lockdowns have been lifted.

The democrats were all silent regarding this discriminant type of treatment of republicans, so, like I said…, “What goes around comes around.”

You reap what you sow.

If these governors and mayors want to destroy all of the restaurants in their states and in their cities…, fine…, just don’t come around later looking to be served a meal.

It only seems right, right?

And who are these bar and restaurant owners who allow these hypocritical liberals to break their own rules?!

How many articles has there been about various democrat politicians showing up for drink or a meal after banning this behavior for the rest of us?

We’ve seen the democrat Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, the democrat Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, the democrat Mayor of Austin, Texas, Steve Adler, displaying their hypocritical behavior,

… along with California Senator Diane Feinstein ignoring guidelines in an airport,

… and the latest hypocrite is Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, who showed up without a mask at a wine bar after tweeting, “It’s week two of our pause. I know it’s been hard, but I want to thank every Rhode Islander who’s following our guidance. Please, stay home except for essential activities & wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with. Together, we can turn our case numbers around.”

What’s all of this “together” talk? It sure seems like she’s not holding up her end of the bargain.

The governor’s office did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.

Oh, really?

That’s odd.

And she won’t either, because she, of course, feels that she is above any type of public scrutiny…, just like all of these other democrat fascists in training.

And it seems like there’s a new article every other day.

It’s ridiculous.

And to all of the police out there enforcing these crazy lockdowns, while we recall the police looking the other way, and kneeling before the rioting organizations, while their rioters burned buildings and looted stores…, and now you are hauling small business owners off to jail, blocking the entrances to their businesses, and ticketing these small business owners with exorbitant fines…, you should really consider what you are doing, or soon you won’t have any supporters or any “friends” left either.

When do law-abiding American citizens get shown any respect or loyalty?

Saying you are only following orders only goes so far.

This is the same excuse the Nazi “SS’ troops and the Nazi Gestapo used.

Just saying you’re following orders doesn’t get you off the hook…, especially at this point in time.

At this early point in time, you can still stand on your morals, quit your police job, and get into another line of work.

Show some integrity, please.

Most law-abiding citizens support the police, but this too could change, and it’s on the verge of changing.

Just sayin’.

Following the Science?

For how long and how many times have we heard the liberals decry, “We have to follow the Science?”

Well, apparently, “following the Science” is only a popular liberal catch phrase which is trotted out when it suits their intentions and their politics.

Democrats (blue state governors in particular) have used the China virus as a means to impose a wide range of impositions on our Constitutional freedoms in the name of safety.

Some based on “following the Science,” and some not so much.

Usually only when it was politically convenient.

Dr. Richard Besser, for Fox News, says that, “Despite coronavirus, science is NOT telling us to close schools.”

But how could that be?!

We MUST “follow the Science,” right?!

“Sound science, like the coronavirus itself, is apolitical. Most everything else this year — including decisions on whether to close schools — is not.”

I think if we’ve learned anything these last four years, it’s that nothing is apolitical anymore.

Nothing.

“As the pandemic enters its deadliest phase to date, government leaders and school districts are having to make extraordinarily difficult decisions about whether to continue in-person learning amid record communitywide surges in cases, hospitalizations and deaths.”

Excuse me, but these aren’t “extraordinarily difficult decisions” at all.

The Teachers’ Union has made those decisions for our illustrious political “leaders.”

“New York City’s decision to close schools indefinitely, and the decision in my home state of New Jersey to allow school districts to keep them open, offers a stark contrast in how the two states with the highest death rates for COVID-19 are managing this crisis.”

“As a pediatrician and a parent, I understand the fear, confusion, and even anger that parents and caregivers face today as policymakers grapple with school decisions.”

Can’t you just envision those policymakers “grappling” with those school decisions into the wee hours of the morning?!

“We know that being in the classroom benefits children socially, emotionally and academically.”

Oh, yeah…, so, what’s the problem?

Isn’t it all about the kids?

Of course it’s not.

Huge numbers of these kids have been thrown out with the trash by these supposed caring liberals.

Many of these kids depend on school for at least one or two decent meals each day.

“On the other hand, virtual learning can be a sound option — and when transmission rates rise to unsafe levels, a necessary one — if a student has a computer, a good Internet connection, a quiet workspace, and no special learning needs. For millions of families without these luxuries, however, it’s an unworkable burden and educational disadvantage that many children could bear for a lifetime.”

Ya…, “It’s an unworkable burden and educational disadvantage that many children could bear for a lifetime,” but it’s a sacrifice the liberals and the Teachers’ unions are willing to bear for them on their behalf.

“From a health perspective, it appears that most children fare well if infected, but they can still spread the coronavirus to higher-risk people in their homes, communities and yes, schools. But when schools have the necessary resources and follow strict protocols, in-person learning has worked remarkably well without accelerating community spread.”

Not according to the teachers, apparently.

“Knowing this, we should do all we can to keep kids in school by providing the funds for proper staffing, equipment, protective gear and ventilation systems. Without these supports, we cannot expect schools to remain open.”

Ok, there we go…, we just need to provide more funding.

We should all know by now that it’s always about the money.

The current CDC Director, Robert R. Redfield, says, “Schools are among the safest places kids can be.”

I guess he isn’t considered to have anything to do with “Science.”

“Achievement gaps could be exacerbated when students are out of school, placing yet another burden on children of color.”

“However, the science and data now tell us a much more nuanced story, and we must adapt as new information arrives. That is the fundamental value of rapid learning during a crisis. With differing approaches, schools have shown that safe in-person learning is possible.”

“That’s why New York City’s decision last week to close schools seems to be a case of following a rigid plan written before we knew schools could remain open safely. The city’s test-positive threshold of 3% — established well before the school year began — has been eclipsed, triggering closures. Yet a mere 0.23% of students in the city’s public schools have tested positive. In fact, New York schools have been a pandemic success story.”

“Governors nationwide are under pressure to follow New York’s lead and close schools, no matter what the data shows. With nearly 200,000 cases a day being reported in the U.S., some of those cases will undoubtedly be teachers, students and staff.”

Why would governors nationwide be under any kind of pressure to follow New York’s lead?

The state of New York, New York City, Governor Cuomo and Mayor DeBlasio have the worst COVID record of any state in the nation.

So, “the Pressure” is on other governors to follow their political lead, not their successful dealing with the virus lead.

Just so we’re clear about that.

“However, decisions on school closures should be driven by data on transmission linked to schools and not on anecdotes or outdated metrics. Public pressure, I fear, is going to make it increasingly difficult in the weeks ahead for governors to stick to the science-based guidance on school closures.”

“Science-based guidance?”

And “public pressure” has no effect on these slimy democrats anymore.

Their friends, the fake news, liberal propaganda, media will just ignore and spin “the pressure” whichever way they want.

“In the spring, New Jersey was among the hardest hit per capita by COVID-19, with the nation’s highest death rate. But this fall, New Jersey schools have not been the problem. The state’s governor, Phil Murphy, issued a joint statement with six other Northeast governors last week that said in part: ‘In-person learning is the best possible scenario for children, especially those with special needs and from low-income families.’”

“That’s the crux of why we need to do all we can to keep children in schools. The pandemic has disproportionately impacted Black, Latino and Native American communities with dramatically higher rates of infections, hospitalizations and deaths.”

Where is Black Lives Matter on this issue?

Where are any of the democrats on this issue?

Oh, I forgot…, the election is over, so the democrats can go back to ignoring any of the issues affecting the Black, Latino and Native American communities.

Just sayin’.

“Because of the inequitable way schools are funded in much of America, (And whose fault is that?) achievement gaps could be exacerbated when students are out of school, placing yet another burden on children of color at the very moment when our nation is forging a new path forward based on racial equity and justice.”

“We know, too, that education is just one facet of what our schools provide. Many families — especially those with parents working full-time, one-parent households, and low-income households — also rely on schools for healthy meals, technology support, and before- and after-hours child care.”

“The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the perversion of our national priorities. We need to treat teachers and school staff like the indispensable front-line workers they are and support them as such.”

I think we are, aren’t we?

The teachers appear to be the ones who aren’t comfortable being front-line workers.

Yes, “The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the perversion of our national priorities,” but the “perversions” are much more far reaching than the good doctor understands, or is willing to acknowledge.

“At the same time, we must reject the false choice that we either sacrifice teachers or do harm to our children. In the next critical months, we must come together and follow the science so that the greatest public health crisis in a century doesn’t also become an educational crisis.”

Uh…, the “educational crisis” is already here, and has been here for quite a while already.

Governor “Fredo” Cuomo…, I mean Governor Andrew Cuomo, of New York, would rather see the body count rise than a COVID vaccine under President Trump.

“The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is that it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan,” Cuomo told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America.

According to the New York Post Editorial Board, ‘“We can’t let this vaccine plan go forward the way Trump is planning it,’ Cuomo said. ‘We need to fix it or stop it before it does damage.’”

“Damage?”

What kind of “damage?”

“Cuomo says Trump vaccination plan is ‘flawed,’ and ‘learns nothing from the past.”

Okay, Fredo…, I doubt you have any understanding of The President’s plan, in this regard.

And, what does “learns nothing from the past” mean?

The “past” what?

Your whole perspective and intent is the only thing that’s “flawed” here, Fredo!

“It’s probably the lowest thing Governor Andrew Cuomo has ever done, and that’s saying something.”

Really, it’s not.

It’s not even close…, but go on.

“On Monday morning, when everyone else was celebrating the spectacular news that Pfizer’s vaccine for COVID-19 looks 90 percent effective, Cuomo, as is typical, reverted to politics.”

“First, he let people die in nursing homes because of his ineptitude.”

Excuse me, but it wasn’t “ineptitude.”

It was by design.

It was imperative to get the COVID-19 death numbers elevated at the time to add to their negative narrative regarding The President’s response to the China virus.

We were constantly being reminded how many people had died from the virus, when in reality the real number was only a fraction of the number we were constantly bombarded with.

How many times during the vice-presidential debate did “cackling Kamala” feel it was necessary to remind us that “over 200,000 people have died from the virus?”

Five times?

Ten times?

More?

In any regard, it was obvious that this was a talking point the democrats valued quite highly…, whether it was really accurate or not.

“Now Cuomo wants the body count to keep climbing because God forbid President Trump oversees a vaccine effort.”

Actually, it has to do with governmental control now, and not President Trump any longer.

‘“What on earth is Governor Cuomo talking about?’ Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) rightly said in a statement. ‘This is great news and everyone — Republicans and Democrats and apolitical folks — should all be jointly thrilled about the possibility of an effective vaccine.’”

The first mistake you’re making Senator Sasse is that you’re assuming we’re talking about a normal human being here…, when we’re not.  We’re talking about a deranged, power hungry, psycho.

‘“After this nasty virus has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and put millions out of work, it is beyond disgusting that Governor Cuomo would use a glimmer of hope for another worn-out ‘Trump is bad’ talking point. When we get a vaccine, we’re going to need all hands-on deck distributing it as fast as possible — shamelessly politicizing this is dangerous and stupid.’”

I’d lean more towards evil, but, yes, “stupid” and “dangerous” as well.

“Thank goodness it’s not up to Cuomo about how the nation proceeds. He messed up in New York, he can’t be allowed to fail nationally. Hopefully this puts to rest any idea of Cuomo serving in a Joe Biden cabinet — or even being governor again.”

Au contraire mon ami!

On the contrary my friends!

As far as the democrats are concerned, these comments put him at the front of the list…, on both accounts!

“Stupid is as stupid does!”

Maybe, “do as I command, but not as I do” would be more appropriate.

According to Adam Shaw of Fox News, “The office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom has told residents in the Golden State that if they go out to eat, they should be wearing a mask ‘in between bites’ to protect themselves from COVID-19.”

Seriously?!

Are you kidding me right now?!

Do you think it would be a good idea to pat your head and rub your tummy while chewing as well?

It has literally gotten to the point that I am embarrassed to concede that California is a part of The United States.

None of this stuff has anything to do with effective ways of controlling the China virus.

It’s all about government seeing how much dictating and controlling of our lives it can get away with in the name of “public safety.”

‘“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?’ an Oct. 3 tweet from the governor’s office says. ‘Don’t forget to keep your mask on in between bites.’”

“For emphasis, the tweet shows an image of someone at a dining seat wearing a mask, then not wearing a mask while taking a bite, and then putting the mask on again.”

“However, the image then advises people to ‘minimize the number of times you take your mask off.’”

So, I guess you’re either not supposed to finish your meal, or take really big bites.

C’mon!!!

Please tell me you can see through this insanity.

Because if enough people can’t or refuse to, “The Socialist People’s Republic of The United States” is just around the corner.

The “debate” that wasn’t a debate.

During the first presidential debate of 2020, nothing was actually debated.

Questions were asked.

Questions were sidestepped.

Questions were ignored.

Statements were made.

Statements were questioned.

Accusations were made.

Accusations were denied.

Accusations were responded to.

Lies were uttered as attacks and defenses.

But it seemed that nothing was actually “debated.”

According to Tyler Olson of Fox News, “The first debate of the 2020 presidential election on Tuesday night was fiery from beginning to end.”

“President Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden attacked each other in starkly personal terms for more than 90 minutes as moderator Chris Wallace worked to get both candidates, but especially [President] Trump, to follow the debate rules the candidates had agreed to.”

President Trump was obviously quite aggressive, but I think I have to give him a bit of a pass on that.

It is not often that The President gets the opportunity to face his accusers.

Since day one on the job, The President has been spied on, attacked on a daily basis, was forced to deal with the fake Russian collusion Mueller investigation, then endure an impeachment hoax, and then he was forced to deal with the Chinese virus, which was unleashed on our country by China and adopted as a political strategy by the democrats and the fake news media.

Now here, President Trump had the man right in front of him, who has called him a racist and a xenophobe.

Here he had the man right in front of him, who is a card-carrying member of the political establishment which has sought to discredit and attack him at every turn.

President Trump had a boat load of pent up frustration that was just primed to be unloaded on Joe Biden.

There was no way these time constraints or a moderator were going to get in his way.

“The ‘conversation’ ranged from the coronavirus crisis to the Supreme Court vacancy to health care. It’s not clear how much substance voters could get out of the debate, however, as it largely consisted of lines aimed to appeal to partisans.”

I feel that President Trump’s supporters could relate to exactly what he was talking about at times, while Biden supporters, who have relied on the fake news for their information, may have been hearing about many of these issues for the first time and may have needed a little more groundwork or background in order for The President to make his point effectively.

The limited time format just didn’t allow for this to happen in many instances, however.

In a nutshell, we had President Trump insisting the radical left was in control of the democrat party, while Joe Biden proclaimed, “I am the Democratic Party right now.”

“It was one of the strongest statements from Biden to date distancing himself from the farthest-left wings of the party. [President] Trump would continue to hammer this point throughout the ‘debate.’”

Biden constantly distanced himself from the radical left regarding healthcare, and global warming, while still managing to remain pretty far out there.  He seemed to be in “no man’s land” on a lot of these issues.

“During a discussion about global warming later in the debate, Biden said ‘the Green New Deal is not my plan.’”

I’m sure Joe will be receiving calls today from his running mate, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez regarding many of his statements.

President Trump clearly established himself as “the law and order candidate.”

And Joe Biden blatantly lied about all of the money his son, Hunter, had received from Russian, Chinese, and Ukrainian interests.

Joe lied about President Trump not acting quickly enough regarding the China virus, when in fact it was he and his democrat friends that ridiculed the President for taking steps to protect the country at the time.

And lastly, President Trump attempted to show a clear difference between the two of them, by emphasizing that Biden would close the country again and that the shutdowns are “hurting people both financially and in their mental health.”

Biden said keeping the country shut down would help the economy long term.

Well, there you have my take and analysis on the first presidential “debate.”

It may be the last presidential “debate” as well.

The liberals just can’t afford for any of these nagging facts to get out there anymore!
