Let’s take a look into Joe’s primetime revisionist history address!
Caitlin McFall of Fox News reports, “In his first primetime address to the nation Thursday night, President Biden lobbed barely concealed criticism at former President Trump for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Let’s take a listen…, this oughta be good!

‘“A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked, denials for days, weeks then months — that led to more deaths, more infections, more stress, and more loneliness,’ the president said. ‘We lost faith in whether our government and our democracy can deliver on really hard things for the American people.’”
Oh, really?

So, that’s how you remember it, Joe?
I seem to remember the circumstances differently.
I remember Nancy Pelosi downplaying the virus and inviting people to get out and visit Chinatown (you can’t make this stuff up) in her wonderful city of San Francisco.
Then we had New York’s Mayor, Bill DeBlasio, saying, “If you’re not sick, you should be going about your life,” while encouraging people to patronize restaurants in the city.
Don’t you recall that, Joe?
Let’s go back to March 12 of 2020, a year ago, and see what Tristan Justice of The Federalist, an on-line magazine, had to say.
“Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden complained Thursday about President Donald Trump calling the Wuhan coronavirus ‘a foreign virus’ in Wednesday’s Oval Office address.”

Well, wasn’t it?
Just sayin’.
‘“Labeling COVID-19 a foreign virus does not displace the accountability for the misjudgements that have taken place so far by the Trump administration,’ Biden said. ‘The [Wuhan] coronavirus does not discriminate based on national origin, race, gender, or zip code.’”
Exactly what “misjudgements,” Joe?

“In Wednesday night’s primetime White House address announcing new travel restrictions to Europe, Trump pointed out that the novel coronavirus wreaking havoc on global public health and stock markets around the world began in China, accurately referring to it as a ‘foreign virus.’”
Which it is.
“Many on the left, however, have been quick to decry the label as ‘racist’ and ‘xenophobic,’ although it’s common practice to identify a new disease with the site of its first outbreak, such as the West Nile virus and Spanish Flu.”
So, “the left” was really more concerned the verbal semantics than with the virus itself.
“In this case, however, it is even more important to identify the new coronavirus with where it originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, as the Chinese government attempted to cover up warnings and brushed off the threat of its severity, giving rise to what the World Health Organization has now declared a global pandemic.”
“On Thursday, Biden also criticized the administration’s decision to implement a near-total European travel ban recommended by White House public health advisors, with an exception for the United Kingdom.”
‘“Banning all travel from Europe or any other part of the world may slow it, but…it will not stop it,’ Biden warned.”
So, if Biden had been president, he wouldn’t have banned travel to and from Europe?
“In January, Biden also criticized as ‘xenophobic’ the administration’s travel ban to China as the outbreak began to worsen, although it was instrumental in preventing an outbreak in the United States much sooner.”
‘“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia,’ Biden said during an Iowa campaign event.”

So, if Biden had been president at the time, he wouldn’t have even banned travel to and from China?

“In response to Biden’s Thursday press conference, the Trump campaign put out a statement reminding the public of Biden’s opposition to the China travel ban.”
‘“Just weeks ago, he [Biden] was openly critical of President Trump’s early move to restrict travel from China to the United States in response to the coronavirus – a decision which medical experts agree helped impede the spread of the virus to this country,’ Trump Communications Director Tim Murtaugh said. ‘President Trump acted early and decisively and has put the United States on stronger footing than other nations.’”
So, it really appears the only “misjudgements” that were made early on were by you and your democrat friend, Joe, not President Trump.
McFall continues by saying, “Without ever mentioning Trump by name, Biden highlighted issues over which his predecessor has been criticized, like the importance of wearing a mask and ‘listening to the science’ in deciding how to best reopen the economy.”
So, you claim you’re “listening to the science” regarding the reopening of schools?
Interesting.

‘“A mask, the easiest thing to do to save lives, sometimes it divides us, states pit it against one another instead of working with each other,’ Biden noted, nodding to the recent decision by Republican-led states to lift coronavirus restrictions, including mask mandates.”
“Biden encouraged Americans to listen to the advice issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in continuing to wear masks ‘to save lives.’”
“Trump’s refusal to wear a mask until several months into the pandemic was an issue Biden was critical of throughout the presidential race.”
“Biden called Dr. Anthony Fauci ‘one of the most distinguished and trusted voices in the world.’ The comment was a contrast to those made by Trump, who was sometimes a sharp critic of Fauci, the top doctor on his White House Coronavirus Task Force.”
Please recall that, initially, on March 8, 2020, Dr. Fauci said, “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask.”
Maybe that’s why President Trump didn’t feel the need to wear a mask at the time?
He was only “following the science” at the time, and Dr. Fauci’s recommendations.
“Biden suggested Americans were not getting honesty from Trump, reflecting on a visit he made to a small business owner in Philadelphia last summer.”
‘“Looking me right in the eye, she said, “I just want the truth,”’ he said, describing what the business owner said she needed most to help her through the pandemic.”
‘“My fellow Americans, you’re owed nothing less than the truth,’ Biden added.”
Well, then why aren’t you giving us the truth, Joe?

“He noted that when he entered office, only 8 percent of people age 65 and up had received their first vaccine shot, contrasting that with the numbers who have gotten the vaccine under his presidency.”
Could it be because, “The vaccines had only recently been made available when Biden took office Jan. 20?”
“But defenders of President Trump have noted that Operation Warp Speed — the Trump administration’s effort to help develop coronavirus vaccines — helped produced results in less than a year, a timeframe considered fast for vaccine development.”
Not just considered “fast,” but considered impossible by many doctors and experts throughout 2020.
According to Sandy Cohen for UCLA Health [UCLA Health is among the most comprehensive and advanced health care systems in the world, comprised of multiple hospitals and medical centers in the Los Angeles area], in December of 2020, “The COVID-19 vaccines coming soon to the United States and already approved in the U.K. and Canada are the fastest vaccines ever created.”
“In a remarkable achievement of medical science, we’ve gone from identifying a new pathogen — the novel coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 — to discovering an immune response against it to developing and testing a safe and effective vaccine for it in less than 12 months.”
“Previously, the fastest vaccine to go from development to deployment was the mumps vaccine in the 1960s, which took about four years.”
‘“This is shattering that record,’ says Otto Yang, MD, an infectious disease specialist at UCLA Health. ‘This is really an amazing achievement.’”
So, why hasn’t the “fake news,” any of the democrats, or “President” Biden given any credit at all to former President Trump for facilitating this remarkable achievement?
‘“President Biden’s plan is to rely on the work that has already been done by Operation Warp Speed,’ House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., wrote on Twitter on Thursday night. ‘That’s why only 9% of his “relief” bill went to defeating the virus.’”

‘“What American needs now is to fully reopen our economy and our classrooms,’ McCarthy added.”
Biden also directed states to make all adults eligible for vaccines by May 1, 2021.
So, adults weren’t eligible to get the vaccines already?
I don’t get it.
“[Former President] Trump could not be immediately reached by Fox News for comment.”
That’s okay…, I think we can all imagine what he would have said, anyway.
In addition, Li Cohen of CBS News reports that, “While President Biden’s first prime-time address was largely optimistic regarding the country’s plan for tackling coronavirus, Mr. Biden also used his time at the podium to condemn the surge in violence that Asian Americans have experienced over the past year.”
‘“Too often, we’ve turned against one another,’ the president said. ‘Vicious hate crimes against Asian Americans, who have been attacked, harassed, blamed and scapegoated.’”
“While hate crimes fell overall by 7% in 2020, a new report published this week found that Asian Americans experienced a 150% surge in attacks. In July 2020, there were more than 2,100 anti-Asian American hate incidents that were directly related to the pandemic.”
A White House official had confirmed to CBS News’ Weijia Jiang ahead of the speech that the president would address these attacks, saying his decision to do so was deliberate and that his message would be ‘very forceful.’”
No one is going to argue that any these harassment incidents are okay.
So, along those lines, it is a good thing that President Biden brought this to everyone’s attention.
I’m not afraid to give credit where credit is due…, unlike Mr. Biden, here.
My only question is, why has this been kept such a secret, for so long?
I, literally, cannot recall hearing anything about this, not one time, over the last year.
Our mainstream news media, who are usually so eager to jump on these types of race-based attacks, obviously felt that none of this was newsworthy.
Why would that be?
Americans of Asian descent must not have fit their (the democrats) narrative for one reason or another.
We’ll have to keep an eye on this and see how the democrats, and the “fake news” choose to spin this one.
