How stupid do the democrats think we are?

In most cases, when considering their own minions, the democrats believe they’re extremely gullible and stupid, which I would have to agree with! Regarding everyone else, they simply don’t care.

The democrats have no problem spewing all sorts of propaganda and misinformation, knowing full well the fake news mainstream media will either promote their disingenuous narrative or give it zero coverage, depending on what is more advantageous.

According to Jamie Gangel, Zachary Cohen and Ryan Nobles of CNN, “The US Secret Service erased text messages from January 5 and 6, 2021, shortly after they were requested by oversight officials investigating the agency’s response to the US Capitol riot, according to a letter given to the House select committee investigating the insurrection and first obtained by CNN.”

Hmmm…, that’s odd!

Well, not really. This is behavior we have now come to expect from our swampy federal law enforcement organizations.

And I’m not sure how this story saw the light of day from CNN. I’m sure the three authors are either in hot water, or looking for new jobs by now, along with the editor that let this story hit the internet.

“The letter, which was originally sent to the House and Senate Homeland Security Committees by the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General, says the messages were erased from the system as part of a device-replacement program after the watchdog asked the agency for records related to its electronic communications.”

‘“First, the Department notified us that many US Secret Service text messages from January 5 and 6, 2021, were erased as part of a device-replacement program. The USSS erased those text messages after OIG requested records of electronic communications from the USSS, as part of our evaluation of events at the Capitol on January 6,’ the letter from DHS IG Joseph Cuffari stated.”

The key phrase to note here is, “The USSS erased those text messages AFTER the OIG requested records of electronic communications from the USSS, as part of our evaluation of events at the Capitol on January 6.”

‘“Second, DHS personnel have repeatedly told OIG inspectors that they were not permitted to provide records directly to OIG and that such records had to first undergo review by DHS attorneys,’ Cuffari added. ‘This review led to weeks-long delays in OIG obtaining records and created confusion over whether all records had been produced.’”

This is similar to how the swamp releases documents only after they have been redacted (Redaction in its sanitization sense (as distinguished from its other editing sense) is the blacking out or deletion of text in a document or the result of doing so. It is intended to allow the selective disclosure of information in a document while keeping other parts of the document secret. Typically the result is a document that is suitable for publication or for dissemination to others rather than the intended audience of the original document.). They typically claim the redactions are necessary to protect national security, when, in fact, the redactions are made to protect swampy backsides.

The Intercept, is an American non-profit news organization founded by Glenn Greenwald, Jeremy Scahill, and Laura Poitras, “and was first to report the existence of the letter.” They are the media “watchdogs” referred to in this article.

“The Homeland Security inspector general did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment.”

Again…, that’s odd.

And again…, not really.

“The US Secret Service pushed back on the allegations in a statement, saying that ‘the insinuation that the Secret Service maliciously deleted text messages following a request is false. In fact, the Secret Service has been fully cooperating with the OIG in every respect, whether it be interviews, documents, emails, or texts.’”

Ha! How dare we insinuate “that the Secret Service maliciously deleted text messages!” after all, the Secret Service says they were, “fully cooperating with the OIG in every respect.”

Ya…, why would Congressional investigators want to see these text messages in the midst of a massive Congressional investigation concerning the events surrounding January 6th?

It seems that the Secret Service is trying to employ an old Jedi mind trick! Do you recall Obi Wan Kenobi, from Star Wars, when he said, “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for?”

“More than a year after the riot, the Homeland Security inspector general review of the Secret Service and its actions on January 6 remains ongoing.”
