Have the democrats lost their minds?!

Seriously.

The democrats have either lost their minds, or they are just operating without any reasonable concern for, or accountability to, the American people…, including those Americans who voted for them, for some ungodly reason.

Orrr…, the democrats, and their puppet masters, may just simply be trying to destroy America so they can rule over the ashes.

So, why do I say this?

Let’s take a look at just the latest case in point.

According to Brooke Singman of Fox News, “The Biden administration, earlier this month, awarded ICE [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] an $86.9 million contract through Texas-based nonprofit Endeavors [Endeavors is the name of the ‘non-profit’ organization] for hotel rooms near the border to provide temporary shelter and processing services for families who have been expelled from the United States but have been placed in immigration proceedings for their removal.”

Sooo, they have been “expelled from the United States, but we’re putting them up in hotels in the United States for who knows how long?

This only makes sense in the minds of double talking, misinformation dealing, democrats.

Reuters news service reports, “Some migrant families arriving in the United States will be housed in hotels under a new program managed by nonprofit organizations, according to two people familiar with the plans.”

What “two people?”

Who are these people?

“’Endeavors,’ a San Antonio-based organization, will oversee what it calls ‘family reception sites’ at hotels in Texas and Arizona, the two sources said.”

Sooo, again, these illegal immigrants have supposedly been “expelled from the United States, but we’re putting them up in hotels in the United States called “family reception sites?”

Wouldn’t you consider “expelled” and “reception” to be direct opposites of one another?

“The organization [Endeavors], in partnership with other nonprofits, will initially provide up to 1,400 beds in seven brand-name hotels for families deemed vulnerable when caught at the border.”

“Brand-name hotels?”

Only the best for all of these, illegal, future democrats!

“As the current contract stands, the cost to taxpayers for housing 1,200 migrant families for six months is about $71,000 per person.  For a family of four, that amounts to a shocking $284,000.”

Wait…, What?!!!

Each illegal immigrant is going to cost us $71,000 per person?!!!

And a family of four illegal immigrants is going to cost us $284,000?!!!

That works out to $394 per person, per day!!!

$394 a day!!!

What kind of hotels are these illegals staying at?!!!

Better said, why is this “Endeavors” NON-PROFIT charging the government so much?

According to endhomelessness.org, “Seventeen out of every 10,000 people in the United States were experiencing homelessness on a single night in January 2019 during HUD’s [The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s] Annual Point-in-Time Count.  These 567,715 people represent a cross-section of America.  They are associated with every region of the country, family status, gender category, and racial/ethnic group.”

So, on any given day, the United States has over 550,000 homeless AMERICAN CITIZENS across the country!!!

But Biden and his comrades are spending $394 a day to house each new ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT?!!!

That’s why I say, “The democrats have either lost their minds, or they are just operating without any reasonable concern for, or accountability to, the American people…, including those Americans who voted for them, for some ungodly reason.”

Getting back to this supposed “non-profit,” I think we need to learn a little more about this “Endeavors” outfit.

Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn, from Tennessee, in a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro [I never met a lie I didn’t like.] Mayorkas and ICE acting Director Tae Johnson, questioned the nonprofit’s [Endeavors’] past financial disclosures, and how the new contract funds will be used.

Blackburn said that in 2018, Endeavors brought in “over $38 million in contributions and grants,” and noted that “IRS filings show that nearly $22 million or almost half of those contributions went to salaries.”

“This raises questions if half of the $86.9 million in ICE contract proceeds will likewise be allocated toward employee and executive compensation instead of migrant services or housing,” Blackburn wrote.

Ohhh, I get it now.

This “Endeavors” “non-profit” organization is one of these DEMOCRAT “NON-PROFIT” organizations, which really isn’t a “non-profit” organization at all…, it just says it is and all of the “swamp” rats look the other way…, as opposed to conservative non-profit groups who are examined under a microscope and held to the letter of the non-profit law.

Establishment republicans get their share of the blame as well, for never shining a light on these double standards and abuses of the law.

So, really, “Endeavors” is spending $25 a night per family, and keeping the rest for “executive compensation.”

Singman continues by saying, “Blackburn, though, raised concerns that Endeavors’ CEO Jon Allman did not provide ‘specific details about the contract’ when asked.”

That’s odd.

I wonder why not?

‘“It is unclear whether this nonprofit has ever previously managed a contract of this magnitude [It hasn’t.], housed a migrant population of this size [It hasn’t.] or served vulnerable children without putting them at further risk [It hasn’t.],’ Blackburn wrote.”

“Blackburn went on to demand an unredacted copy of the $86.9 million contract, and answers as to which hotels would supply rooms for migrants, which rates would they be charging.”

Now why would she have to specify an “unredacted copy of the contract?”

Think about it.

Why are democrats always trying to hide things and keep things secretive?

It’s because they are always up to no good.

The democrats always cry about “transparency,” but then they are anything but.

“Blackburn also requested information about children safety, questioning whether migrant children would ‘ever be placed in a situation where they are unsupervised by a parent or a guardian and left alone with an Endeavors staffer.”

“Blackburn also asked whether ICE was requiring Endeavors to conduct background checks on workers and volunteers, amid reports that the Office of Refugee Resettlement between 2015 and 2019 received more than 4,500 allegations of sexual abuse and sexual harassment against children in facilities. Blackburn said, ‘178 of the complaints were against staff at the shelters.’”

Hey…, this is a perfect set-up!

I’m sure we’ll Bill Clinton sniffing around these facilities, along with the rest of his democrat, pedophile, friends!

“Blackburn demanded answers from Mayorkas and Johnson by April 15.”

I’ll keep you posted.

My oh my, how Mayorkas can lie!

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Mr. Mayorkas had an advanced degree from the Clinton center for falsehoods and plausible deniability!

Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas made the talk show rounds this last weekend, and he was an absolute well of misinformation!

And that’s being nice.

Secretary Mayorkas started off by saying, “We have an asylum program that recognizes young children’s right to claim asylum, to claim fear from persecution by reason of their membership in a particular group. That is what the law provides and we administer and enforce those laws.”

He says, “We administer and enforce those laws,” not “the law.

That is the problem here.  The democrats like to “cherry pick” the laws they want to enforce and the laws they don’t…, like letting illegal migrants free into our country without even scheduling a hearing date for them, or without any type of processing or vetting at all.

Regarding former President Trump’s policy of returning many of these illegal immigrants to their country of origin, Mayorkas said, “The prior administration did expel children, did fly children to countries where — from which they were fleeing, countries that did not have the capacity to administer asylum claims, countries that suffer tremendous violence, poverty, corruption, and other infirmities.”

Have you looked at the United States lately, Mr. Mayorkas?

“Violence, poverty, corruption, and other infirmities?”

Do you honestly think these kids would be any safer in any of your democrat-run, “sanctuary cities,” like Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, or Seattle?

Mayorkas continued by saying, “The prior administration dismantled the orderly and safe way that these children could make their claims. It tore down the Central American Minors [CAM] program that allow these children to make their claims under United States’ law without having to take the perilous journey.”

This is not true. The only part of the CAM program that was terminated under former President Trump was the parole portion of the CAM program, which was terminated in August 2017. Individuals who were determined to be ineligible for refugee status were then considered by USCIS [U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services] for the possibility of entering the United States under parole.

“We are rebuilding that process,” Mayorkas continued.  “It takes time because the entire system was dismantled.”

Again, this is just not true.

Secretary Mayorkas was reminded about what President Biden said soon after becoming President, “Vice President Harris and I and our entire administration, we’ll always be honest and transparent with you about both the good news and the bad.”

This obviously hasn’t been the case, here, regarding the immigrant children being held at the border, seeing that reporters have not been allowed to see the conditions under which they are being held.

To this Mayorkas said, “Let’s not forget that we’re in the midst of a pandemic and we are focused on our operations, executing our operations in a crowded Border Patrol facility where hundreds of vulnerable migrant children are located.”

Okay…, here we go.  When all else fails, blame the pandemic.

So, it’s okay to have these kids crammed like sardines in these “facilities,” not even being tested for the virus, in many cases, and then release them into the country, but it’s not okay to acknowledge the freedom of the press and allow a few reporters in to see what’s going on in there?

Mayorkas then said, “We’re working on providing footage so that the American public can see the Border Patrol stations. And I would encourage you and other reporters to see the facilities under the control of the Health and Human Services Department where those children are sheltered and where they belong and where we are moving them as quickly as possible.”

Ohhh.  Now I get it!  They’re going to “provide the footage” so we all can see what a great job they’re doing!

Would that be similar to footage provided by the Chinese Communist Party, showing how well the Uyghur’s are being treated?

That’s what you call a deceptive governmental propaganda film…, attempting to paint the government in the best possible light while controlling the evidence and the narrative.

And this is what the Biden administration is planning on doing?

Can you imagine the outcry and the outrage if former President Trump had not “allowed” the press access to border facilities?

The press was losing their minds down there as it was!

Mayorkas stated earlier in the week that, “We are on pace to encounter more individuals on the Southwest border than we have in the last 20 years.”

But, yet, he, Biden, Harris, Psaki, and all the rest, claim it is all former President trump’s fault?

Can I remind you that President Biden has halted part of Title 42 to allow unaccompanied minors to stay in the U.S. during the pandemic, ended the provision that asylum seekers must remain in Mexico while their cases are being heard, and suspended the Safe Third Country Agreements to share asylum seekers with other countries, all in just his first two months in office…, but the disaster at our southern border is President Trump’s fault.

“Safe Third Country Agreements is misnamed. There’s nothing safe about it. To return people to the very countries from which they are fleeing persecution, Mayorkas added.”

Huh…, yeah…, why would you want to return these people to the countries they came from?

Maybe because they don’t belong here?

And then he tries to sell us all on the assumption that these people are all fleeing persecution?

Being persecuted for what and by who?

Try being a white guy in the United States these days, and you’ll see what real persecution looks like.

Mayorkas has also stated, “The border is secure. The border is closed. We’ve been unequivocal in that and we are operationalizing our processes, executing our plans, we are a nation of laws, and we treat vulnerable children humanely.”

The only things that have any truth to them, regarding this statement is, “we are operationalizing our processes, executing our plans.” The rest are flat out lies.

And just recently, as a part of “executing their plans,” the Biden administration has awarded ICE [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] an $86.9 million contract for hotel rooms near the border to provide temporary shelter and processing services for families who have not been expelled from the United States but have been placed in immigration proceedings for their removal, which will result in none of them being removed.

How about spending that money on hotel rooms for some of our own citizens, who are down on their luck, and homeless right now?

How about spending that money on treating the mental illness, or addictions, many of these homeless people are experiencing?

You don’t because these people already vote democrat, if they vote at all.

The ultimate plan here is for one party rule by the democrats.

Let’s make no mistake about it.

And they will do anything and say anything to realize that goal.

I don’t have anything against these immigrants trying to find a better life for themselves.  If I was in their shoes, I’d probably be doing the same thing.

But, believe me…, IF THESE IMMIGRANTS WERE ALL POTENTIAL REPUBLICAN VOTERS, THAT BORDER WALL WOULD BE SO HIGH AND SO AIR TIGHT, THAT NOBODY WOULD BE GETTING THROUGH.

Just sayin’.

Texas may have to go “maverick!”

Based on what the Biden administration is doing, regarding the border wall and their immigration policy changes, Texans are going to suffer safety-wise and economically, while all other state resources and services will be strained as well.

So, what is Texas to do?

Do Texans have to sit back and accept what the federal government is imposing on them, or can they defend themselves?

Can Texans continue to build the wall that’s located in their own state?

Can Texans defend themselves by deploying their own border guards?

Can Texans refuse to allow a federal presence in their state, like federal troops were not allowed in Seattle, Portland, and elsewhere?

I wonder if these are questions that Texas’ Governor (Greg Abbott) and Attorney General (Ken Paxton) have been considering?

Because it may be time for the state of Texas to go “maverick.”

It may be time for Texas to stand-up and tell the federal government that they’re not going to put up with their foolishness and disregard for the welfare of the people in their state any longer.

It may be time for Texas to tell the radical democrats back in Washington D.C. to go to hell, and “don’t mess with Texas!”

Why are these liberal, sanctuary mayors so intent on making sure dangerous illegal immigrants are released back out into their communities?

Really…, I’m asking?

Do they have something against all of the legal, law abiding, citizens that live there?

I mean, not even the other illegals and/or criminals want a child molester running around.

acrime2 2

Why are these elected officials so concerned about illegal immigrants who can’t vote, who are also convicted felons, who also can’t vote?

It just doesn’t make any sense.

Who are these politicians representing?

Is the majority of people who live there that ignorant?

Apparently so.

Adam Shaw of Fox News reports that, “[Immigration and Customs Enforcement] ICE chief scorches Chicago mayor for glib response to latest sanctuary city horror crime.”

“In an interview with Fox News this week, the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ripped into Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for her response to the sexual assault of a 3-year-old girl, allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant who had been sprung from custody by the city’s sanctuary policies.”

“The Democratic mayor had attempted to shift the blame to ICE in the aftermath.”

Ahhh yes, the old “trying to shift the blame game.”

acrime2 4

How, under any circumstances, could this possibly be ICE’s fault?

How, under any circumstances, could this possibly not be the fault of Chicago’s elected hierarchy and the local law enforcement who are willing to go along with these mindless policies.

The democrats have learned well from the originator of the denial strategy, former President William Jefferson Clinton, or “Wild Bill” as I like to refer to him.  He’s one of the original “Fondling Fathers,” along with Creepy Joe Biden!

Deny, deny, deny.  Lie, lie, lie.  Never, ever admit to anything or take responsibility for anything.

acrime2 6

‘“I think it’s the height of hypocrisy,’ acting ICE Director Matthew Albence told Fox News. ‘I can tell you, I’ve been firsthand trying to work with the city of Chicago for the better part of a decade to get them to cooperate with us so we can get criminals off the streets.’”

And we all know Chicago doesn’t need any help getting criminals off the streets!  (cough, cough, cough)  Ya, right.

acrime2 1

“The city’s controversial sanctuary city policies, in which local law enforcement ignore detainer requests from ICE that they be notified when arrested illegal immigrants are released from custody, have come under renewed scrutiny after one of those sprung from custody was arrested last month for allegedly sexually assaulting the 3-year-old in a bathroom.”

Ya think?

acrime2 9

“ICE had lodged a detainer in June against Christopher Puente, who has several felony convictions and a prior removal, after he was arrested for theft. But Chicago ignored the request and released him.”

acrime2 5

Why wouldn’t you ignore ICE’s request?  Mr. Puente sounds like an upstanding individual to me?

NOT!

“He was arrested again last month for the alleged assault. According to ABC 7 Chicago, prosecutors said the attack happened after the little girl’s father took his son and daughter to the men’s bathroom at a fast-food restaurant, taking the boy into a stall but leaving the girl outside.”

“Prosecutors say Puente then motioned for the girl to enter his stall, locked it, held the victim by the back of her head and covered her mouth. They say the girl’s father heard her cries and frantically tried to open the stall — he was able to see her feet dangling off the ground. He eventually grabbed her legs and pulled her out from under the stall. The girl was later hospitalized.”

‘“They’re critical because we have said very clearly we are a welcoming city, a sanctuary city. Chicago Police Department will not cooperate with ICE on any immigration-related business,’ she [Mayor Lightfoot] said when asked about the case.”

So you can’t be a “welcoming” city without letting illegal immigrant criminals run free, committing crimes all over the place?

It sounds more like you’re creating a lawless crime zone as opposed to some kind of sanctuary.

acrime2 8

If I was that father, I would be looking to charge the city with aiding and abetting a felon in the commission of a crime.”

How can you argue that they didn’t?

How can you argue that the city didn’t aid this criminal in his escape from custody?

Actually…, correction…, if I was that father, Puente would be dead, and they’d be searching for the person who brutally attacked one of their sanctuary friends.

I feel the city and its elected officials need to be held criminally accountable for their policies when they harm the citizens they are supposed to be protecting.

‘“If ICE is complaining, then they should do their job better,’ she [Mayor Lightfoot] said.”

There’s her “glib response” for you.

acrime2 7

“For the mayor to sit there and say ICE should do its job better — we’d love to do our job better but we depend on the cooperation of other law enforcement agencies, just like Chicago Police Department does,” [acting ICE Director Albence] he said. “When they are working a case, they rely on the cooperation of other law enforcement agencies as well, that’s how law enforcement works — information sharing, intelligence sharing, and the sharing and pooling of resources.”

“He went on to note that it is the latest in a string of violent crimes allegedly committed by illegal immigrants who were released from custody despite ICE detainers. The Trump administration has sought to bring attention to other cases too, including the sexual assault and murder of a 92-year-old woman in New York City earlier this year. The granddaughter of the victim blamed the sanctuary policies specifically for her death.”

In the old days, democrats used to pretend to be tough on crime when they were running for office and then pull a 180 once they got elected.

Nowadays, they proudly declare they’ll be soft on crime in order to get elected in these confused, liberal, dens of inequity.

‘“We have seen time and time again, unfortunately, way too many tragic circumstances like this poor 3-year-old kid who is going to suffer trauma for the rest of her life as a result of Chicago not turning this criminal over to us when we asked for him last year,’ Albence told Fox News.”

‘“When they make policies that prevent ICE from doing its job, they have gotten involved in immigration law enforcement, they’ve gotten involved in impeding immigration law enforcement,’ he said. ‘They’ve made a determination that their political aspirations are more important than the safety of their constituents.’”

Even though President Trump has taken steps towards limiting federal funding to these cities, he should start getting really serious and direct the Department of Justice to start pressing federal charges against these elected partners in crime.

acrime2 10

I can see in my crystal ball…, yes…, it’s becoming clearer…, I see improved cooperation between sanctuary cities and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)!

But why the sudden change of heart by all of these sanctuary liberal strongholds?

Well, according to Jonathan Stempel of Reuters News Service, “President Donald Trump’s administration can withhold millions of dollars in law enforcement funds from states and cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, a U.S. appeals court ruled on Wednesday.”

Ohhh, that’s why!

afunds 7

Now we’ll see how much federal money these liberal sanctuary cities are willing to do without.

I believe we’ll see a shining example here of how “money talks and BS walks!”

“The unanimous decision by a three-judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan was a victory for [President] Trump in his years-long fight with so-called sanctuary jurisdictions.”

“It overturned a lower court ruling directing the release of federal funds to New York City and the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington.”

“The states and cities sued over a 2017 policy conditioning receipt of the funds by state and local governments on their giving federal immigration officials access to their jails, and advance notice when immigrants in the country illegally are being released from custody.”

afunds 8

Just to let you know, if you’re not already aware, the democrats in this country have been influencing behavior, by cities and the states, with the promise of or the withholding of federal money for decades.

It is almost comical that they chose to sue the federal government over doing the same thing they themselves have used to their benefit without question.

afunds 13

“Wednesday’s decision sets up a possible appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, which often resolves legal disputes that divide lower courts.”

Ha!  Good luck with that appeal!

“A U.S. Justice Department spokesman called the decision a ‘major victory for Americans’ in recognizing Attorney General William Barr’s authority to ensure that grant recipients do not thwart federal law enforcement priorities.”

afunds 5

It is a major WIN for American across the country.

Are you tired of winning yet?

I know I’m not!

afunds 12

“His [President Trump’s] battle against Democratic-led ‘sanctuary’ jurisdictions focuses on laws and policies making it harder for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials to find and arrest immigrants they consider deportable.”

afunds 2

afunds 6

“U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos in Manhattan in Nov. 2018 declared the conditions unconstitutional, saying the administration acted arbitrarily and capriciously in withholding grants without considering the impact on local law enforcement.”

“Acted arbitrarily and capriciously?”  Oh, you mean like when local police let dangerous criminal back out into their communities with no concern about the safety of their citizens, Judge Ramos?

afunds 10

“[The DOJ], however, said the conditions ‘help the federal government enforce national immigration laws and policies supported by successive Democratic and Republican administrations.’”

Like I said earlier, the democrats in this country have been influencing behavior, by cities and the states, with the promise of or the withholding of federal money for decades and decades.

Karma’s a b…h, ain’t it!

And, “what goes around comes around!”

WINNING!

The Coronavirus, Mexico and illegal immigration.

acorona 2

Right now, the coronavirus is not a problem in Mexico.

There have been some suspected cases, but nothing confirmed.

But what if the virus spreads to Mexico?

Better said, what about WHEN the virus spreads to Mexico…, because you know it will.

Then how will democrats spin their love of illegal immigration?

acorona 6

Even though President Trump has managed to greatly reduce illegal immigration from Mexico, there is still an average of over 30,000 illegal immigrants crossing over into our country on a monthly basis.

acorona 7

That’s over 30,000 people, A MONTH, just walking into our country, unscreened for the coronavirus, or any other virus or disease for that matter.

When the virus starts showing up in Mexico, that’s when we’ll really see the effects of not being able to control our borders.

I’m sure President Trump will ask for the means to exert additional control over the border (which would be a completely reasonable and appropriate request), and I’m sure the democrats will fight him every step of the way on this.

acorona 8

We already understand that democrats have NO concern for the safety of American citizens when it comes to illegal immigrants…, so I’m sure passing the coronavirus onto us all (but not them of course) won’t bother them at all.

acorona 3

I can hear all of the democrats now…

“Donald Trump is to blame!”

Donald Trump is just using the coronavirus as an excuse to expand his racist border practices.”

acorona 12

“Immigrants (referring to illegal immigrants) have a right to the best treatment for the virus, just like American citizens.”

acorona 10

“It isn’t right to discriminate against individuals who are sick by no fault of their own.

“We are a caring nation and we shouldn’t turn anyone away for any reason.”

acorona 5

Keep your ears open and see how long it takes to start hearing comments like these from the democrats and their co-conspirators in the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

The Statue of Liberty says, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”

It doesn’t say anything about sending your sick people here!

Especially your sick people who have the potential of spreading an epidemic across our country and killing thousands, perhaps millions of Americans.

Two ideas, regarding immigration problems, which make too much sense to ever happen!

EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT!

A couple politicians have actually been discovered using their heads and coming up with some creative ideas!

Imagine that?

This is the kind of stuff that could start giving politicians a good name!

The first idea was proposed by Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

His idea is to use confiscated drug money to help build the wall on our southern border with Mexico…, since the Democrats in Congress can’t see fit to allocate any money for this endeavor, even though President Trump was elected amid cries at his rallies to “BUILD THAT WALL!”

ideas 8

Dominick Mastrangelo of The Washington Examiner reported that “Ted Cruz wants to use money from the ‘El Chapo’ drug empire to ‘build the wall!’”

ideas 1

“The reparations to the U.S. taxpayer are justified, prosecutors said, because Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman acquired his billions as part of his drug empire that directly led to the death of thousands of drug-addicted Americans and victims of violent drug-related crime.”

ideas 2

I would say that “reparations” by Guzman are not only justified…, they should be considered a small and required attempt at compensation for all of the suffering he has caused.

“Prosecutors stated Guzman can pay the sum because ‘criminal forfeiture is viewed as part of the sentencing process,’ according to Newsweek.”

“After a lengthy trial, Guzman was found guilty on multiple drug-related felonies and will likely face life in prison.”

Representative Mo Brooks of Alabama also deserves some credit for introducing legislation earlier in the year, “that would reserve up to $14 billion seized from ‘El Chapo’ for the construction project.”

‘“People across the United States are desperate for a sign that Washington is ready and willing to protect them from dangerous criminals and porous borders,’ Cruz wrote a month later in an op-ed for the Washington Post. ‘Congress has two clear mandates from the American people: secure the border and save money. So let’s build a wall, and make El Chapo pay for it.’”

Absolutely…, who could argue with that?

The second idea was proposed by Representative Lance Gooden from Texas.

ideas 3

His idea is to use DNA testing to aid border officials in determining whether children are really with their families, or being used by child traffickers to get across the border.

Brilliant!

Adam Shaw of Fox News reported that, “Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas., introduced the End Child Trafficking Now Act on Monday. The bill would implement DNA testing at the border, and punish those caught trying to cheat the system with up to 10 years in prison.”

I’d say 10 years would be a good start.

“The proposal comes in response to growing awareness of the fraudulent use of children by adult migrants to gain access to the U.S. The 1997 Flores court settlement limits how long children can be held in custody to just 20 days, meaning that adult migrants claiming to be family members will also be released into the homeland as their asylum cases are considered.”

ideas 4

‘“Unfortunately we see that all too often now … adults that are bringing children with them that are not their own to try and take advantage of what they perceive as a loophole in our law that would allow them to be released into the United States,’ Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan told the House Oversight Committee last week, as he described how a DNA test helped thwart one migrant who allegedly ‘bought’ a child in a bid to exploit loopholes.”

‘“We’ve had egregious cases, including a 51-year-old man who bought a six-month child for $80 in Guatemala and admitted that when confronted with a DNA test by a Homeland Security Investigations agent conducting a pilot at one of our border stations,’ he said.”

“He also testified about the problem of ‘child recycling’ that authorities were investigating, where children are used multiple times to get adults into the U.S.”

ideas 5

‘“There are one in five cases, according to ICE, of groups of people coming over with children, saying “these are our children” — when they say that they get preferential treatment through the asylum process — and then we have later found out they are not even related, so the DNA testing helps us to determine if they’re telling the truth or not,’ Gooden told Fox News.”

“Tests would consist of mouth swabs similar to those already in use by the State Department. The agency says that such tests are 99.5 percent accurate.”

Representative Gooden added, “I would be shocked to hear of anyone being opposed to preventing child trafficking, but I’ve been shocked before.”

Yes…, I’m afraid we’re all getting used to being “shocked” by how low and by how political some of our democrat friend will stoop.

You have to wonder sometimes if these loopholes are really loopholes, or if these ways of beating the system were intentionally built into the law?

Some people might be surprised by that accusation, but the law is there to be changed and corrected at any time, and Congress is refusing to do so.

Doesn’t their inaction indicate that they are okay with what’s happening with these children at the border?

What else could their inaction indicate?

ideas 6

Like I said in the beginning…, these are two ideas which make way too much sense to ever happen.

Let’s play a picture game!

I’m going to show you a sequence of pictures.

See if you can see something they all have in common.

flags 1

flags 2

flags 3

flags 4

flags 5

flags 6

flags 7

flags 8

flags 9

flags 10

flags 11

Well…, what do you think?

Yes…, these are all either pictures from “caravans” headed to our southern border or people attempting to enter our country illegally.

But…, the answer I was looking for is they all show migrants waving a flag that is typically blue and white.

No American flags, however.

The flags we see in these pictures are all from either Honduras,

flags 12

Guatemala,

flags 13

or El Salvador.

flags 14

The question is, why would you travel over 1,000 miles, on foot, to escape a country that is supposedly oppressing you to the point that you have to seek political asylum in another country, but then wave the flag of the country that you were forced to escape from?

If you desired political asylum from the United States, wouldn’t you be carrying and waving an American flag?

Wouldn’t someone…, anyone…, be carrying an American flag?

In fact…, I dare you to find a picture of migrants making their way to America, carrying an American flag.

These people aren’t  fleeing for their lives…, they’re fleeing for their wallets.

They’re fleeing to America to get on the gravy train…, not the freedom train.

It’s not that big of a deal I guess.  I just normally like a “kiss” before I get screwed.

Just sayin’.

President Trump should “trump” Congress over the handling of illegal immigrants.

As we watch yet another migrant caravan making its way toward the U.S.-Mexico border, and as we set new records of migrants crossing into the U.S. each month, I believe President Trump should leap frog Congress and propose a solution to this illegal immigration crisis.

The solution I am suggesting is definitely not the best solution, but it’s a solution that I believe could garner support on most sides of this issue.

pathway 1

It is widely accepted that our current border crisis “falls squarely on the hands of Congress,” according to the National Border Patrol Council.

Greg Norman for Fox News reports that, ‘“The record number of migrants coming to the U.S. border is no accident,’ National Border Patrol Council Vice President Hector Garza says.”

pathway 8

“The massive migrant caravan said to be making its way toward the U.S.-Mexico border is a result of Congress ‘not acting and continuing to encourage illegal immigration,’ according to a border agent and top union official.”

Garza also says that migrants are taking advantage of the way the U.S. immigration system processes asylum seekers in order to gain entry to the country.

pathway 2

“President Trump is doing everything in his power to be able to stop this crisis but Democrats and some activists are just doing everything behind his back to undermine his authority,” he told the hosts of Fox & Friends.

Realistically, and with there not being much hope of radically changing our current pathetic immigration laws anytime in the near future, we need to come up with strategy and a plan that is doable.

Will everyone love it?

No.

Will everyone hate it?

No.

So what is it?

Ok…, here we go.

First of all we have to face some facts.

There are currently tens of millions of illegal immigrants already in our country, with tens of thousands more joining them every month.

For the ones we actually catch crossing our border, our current laws don’t allow us to do much more than take their names, schedule a hearing date (which are backlogged for like 50 years) and let them loose into the country.

The ones we don’t catch (a number that is probably much greater than those we do catch) are just “out there” in our country doing who knows what.

We also have to understand that 99.9% of these illegals are never going to be forced to leave our country.

That is a fact.

Like it or not, they are here to stay.

pathway 5

pathway 6

So…, now that we have that straight, what are we going to do with them?

Is it better to leave them in our country with an “illegal” status, or would it be better to provide a helpful way for them to achieve documented citizenship?

The taxpayers of this country are paying for these people one way or another, so we might as well get something out of this deal…, right?

I believe President Trump should hijack this whole issue and turn it into a strength for him, conservatives and other republicans.

President trump should propose a “Pathway Force.”

This “Pathway Force” would be somewhere in between the AmeriCorps program and the Army Reserve.

By serving in the “Pathway Force,” these “illegals” earn their way to citizenship.

At a designated start date, all illegal immigrants caught coming into the country would be automatically “drafted” into the pathway Force.

Those illegal immigrants already in the country could “enlist” and take advantage of the opportunities and benefits provided by the Pathway Force.

The Pathway Force program would provide housing, utilizing military bases, provide English classes, civics classes, and train them to be a kind of FEMA response force that would assist in public works programs, emergencies and natural disasters around the country.

After four years of service in the Pathway Force they earn their citizenship and they can leave the force or choose to re-enlist.

Like I said, like it or not, these people are here to stay.

For the “Dreamers” and others who can document that they have been productive workers and law-abiding citizens for a given period of time, I would propose amnesty and a conditional citizenship to be certified after an additional five years of issue free living.

By proposing these type of actions, President Trump could co-opt all of these immigrants and flip them to Trump supporters.

It would be a beautiful thing.

It would be a better “gotcha” than “The Sting” or “Ocean’s 11.”

The President and conservatives have nothing to lose…, only supporters to gain.

pathway 4

Again…, remember…, these “illegals” aren’t going anywhere.

They are here to stay.

Now, with that understanding…, what are we going to do?

Let’s not bite off our noses to spite our faces.

Let’s be proactive and WIN this issue…, not continue to get beat up time and time again over it.

pathway 3

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

This is what happens when the government doesn’t take care of its responsibilities.

According to The Constitution, our federal government isn’t really specifically tasked with a lot…, but in Article 1, Section 8, Item 1 it states: “The Congress shall… provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States…”

When citizens feel threatened and the federal government is not providing the proper laws…, enforcing the laws…, or generally protecting or providing “domestic tranquility,” “the common defense,” “the general Welfare,” and “the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity,” people will protect themselves.

It’s the American way.

In this instance, a New Mexico militia group detained migrants, who crossed our border illegally, at gunpoint until the Border Patrol could arrive.

vigilantes 1

I would call these people heroes.

According to Danielle Wallace for Fox News, “An armed right-wing militia group operating along the U.S.-Mexico border posted several videos to social media this week, including one in which they held about 200 asylum-seeking migrants at gunpoint near Sunland Park, N.M., until U.S. Border Patrol agents arrived, according to a report.”

Before we proceed, let’s put this reporting in the proper perspective.

Okay, Danielle.  First off, I have an issue with you when you label these people as “an armed right-wing militia group.”  Can’t we just say they are a militia group or a group of vigilantes?  Do we ever see any other groups labeled as “left-wing” groups?  No…, we don’t.

Second of all, the people that were held are described as “asylum-seeking migrants.”  The truth is you really have no idea who all of these people are or what they want, and you left out the word “ILLEGAL.”  These are ILLEGAL immigrants who crossed our southern border ILLEGALLY.

Okay…, that being said…, let’s continue.

“The militia group, which calls itself the United Constitutional Patriots, said, ‘… it is determined to monitor the border until President Trump fulfills his campaign promise of a border wall or until Congress enacts stronger legislation to make it more difficult for migrants to request asylum,’ Jim Benvie, a spokesman, told The New York Times in a phone interview.”

‘“It should go without saying that regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone,’ the governor of New Mexico, Michelle Lujan Grisham, said in a statement to The New York Times, adding that it is ‘completely unacceptable’ that migrants be ‘menaced or threatened’ upon entering the U.S.”

“The American Civil Liberties Union said in a statement that ‘the Trump administration’s vile racism’ emboldened these groups.”

“Carlos A. Diaz, a spokesperson for Customs and Border Protection, would not divulge specific details about the scene in the video or about the United Constitutional Patriots, but said in a statement that Border Patrol ‘does not endorse private groups or organizations taking enforcement matters into their own hands.’”

Well Ms. Michelle Lujan Grisham…, let’s begin with you.

It does not “go without saying that regular citizens have no authority to arrest or detain anyone.”  In fact, in the nearby illegal immigrant friendly state of California, in section 837 of the California Penal Code, it says, “A private person may arrest another: For a public offense committed or attempted in his/her presence.  When the person arrested has committed a felony, although not in his/her presence.  When a felony has been in fact committed, and he or she has reasonable cause for believing the person arrested to have committed it.”

So, no, Ms. Michelle Lujan Grisham…, it does not go without saying.

In addition, you continue by saying that, “it is completely unacceptable that migrants be menaced or threatened upon entering the U.S.”  But apparently it is acceptable that some of these (and she left out the word ILLEGAL as well) migrants go on to “menace” and “threaten” law-abiding U.S. citizens.

vigilantes 2

vigilantes 3

vigilantes 4

In my opinion, you are a disgrace of a governor Ms. Michelle Lujan Grisham, and the state of New Mexico should be ashamed for having elected you.

I guess, in the end, people get what they deserve.  Good luck with that New Mexico.

Then we have The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) saying in a statement that “the Trump administration’s vile racism” has emboldened these [militia] groups.”

The ACLU has already lost any semblance of credibility it may have had at one time…, but in response I would like to say that the inaction of the U.S. Congress and many prior presidents, along with the actions of many of the current democrat politicians and their supporters, has emboldened these illegal immigrants to put unprecedented pressure on our southern border.

There is no racism being demonstrated here.  Being “illegal” is not a matter of race…, it’s a matter of law.

vigilantes 6

Lastly we have a spokesperson for Customs and Border Protection, Carlos A. Diaz, saying that the Border Patrol “does not endorse private groups or organizations taking enforcement matters into their own hands.”

With all due respect…, and I am saying “with all due respect,” Mr. Diaz, patriotic citizens of this country don’t need your endorsement…, and these patriots only “take matters into their own hands” when the government is not taking care of their business for one reason or another.

Hard working, God fearing, Americans don’t need these politicians who have their heads up their backsides to figure out what’s right and what’s wrong…, we already know.  We just hope they figure it out sooner than later.

vigilantes 5

Until that time these patriots will just have to help them do their job…, for their own sakes and ours.

WINNING!
