Hollywood hypocrites love to “dish it out,” but they sure can’t take it!

Ricky Gervais is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, director, producer, and musician.  He is best known for creating, writing and acting in the original British television series “The Office.”

77th Annual Golden Globe Awards - Show

He also hosted The Golden Globe awards show last night, and according to Yahoo senior writer, Ethan Alter, Gervais “attacked Hollywood” in his monologue and “went a little too far.”

Awwww, poor Hollywood!

Inexplicably, I actually caught Gervais’ opening monologue last night, and I thought it was actually refreshing to see all those Hollywood prima donnas take their comeuppance.

If pointing out Hollywood’s hypocrisy and laying out the truth is going too far, then so be it!

You haven’t seen President Trump, or his supporters crying about the abuse they’ve been forced to stomach at the hands of all of these Hollywood hypocrites, have you?

‘“This is the last time I’m hosting these awards,’ Ricky Gervais said moments after taking the stage at the 77th Golden Globe Awards for his fifth hosting gig. Based on the audience reaction to his bridge-burning, F-bomb-laden monologue, this might be the last time he’s allowed in Hollywood… let alone at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s [HFPA’s} annual shindig. The mood in the room was essentially summed up by everyone’s favorite L.A. neighbor Tom Hanks — this year’s recipient of the HFPA’s Cecil B. DeMille Award — whose face displayed an expression of shock and disgust every time the cameras found him in the crowd.”

“One of those jokes that noticeably raised Hanks’s ire was Gervais’ suggestion that the license plate on his HFPA-hired limo was made by Felicity Huffman during her brief prison stay after she was swept up in the college admissions scandal.”

HA!

“Gervais proved anything but embarrassed as he continued to call out the rich and famous on their privileged lifestyle. ‘If you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a political platform to make a political speech,’ he warned. ‘You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything, you know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So, if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God and f*** off. OK?’”

BWAHAHA!

Thank you for that Rickey!  No truer words were ever said!  And they are words that many of us have been dying to say for many years.

“Meanwhile, tech world titan [and Apple CEO], Tim Cook, looked on stone-faced as Gervais praised Apple TV+’s marquee series ‘The Morning Show’ as a ‘superb drama about the importance of dignity and doing the right thing made by a company who owns sweatshops in China. You say you’re woke but the companies you work for — Apple, Amazon, Disney — if ISIS started a streaming service, you would call your agent, wouldn’t you?’”

OUCH!

Tyler McCarthy of Fox News added that, “The biggest stars in TV and film gathered in Beverly Hills in the hopes of kicking off the 2020 awards season with a highly coveted Golden Globe award, and notoriously controversial host Ricky Gervais wasted no time laying into the Hollywood elite vying for a big win.”

“He called out the many stars in the room for their relationship to large corporations like Apple, Amazon and Disney.”

“Gervais then mocked the stars in attendance for their relation to the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Gervais declared that Epstein didn’t kill himself, prompting groans from the crowd.”

‘“Shut up, I know he’s your friend but I don’t care!’”

BAM!

“He also took a shot at Leonardo DiCaprio for his film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ being three hours long.”

‘“Leonardo DiCaprio attended the premiere and, by the end, his date was too old for him!’”

Ha!

“He added: ‘Even Prince Andrew is like, “Come on Leo, mate. You’re nearly 50.”’”

OUCH, and double OUCH!

Way to go Ricky!

It was a beautiful thing, watching all of the stunned faces as the comedic tables were turned on them for a change.

“Lady Justice” is not only blind…, apparently she’s prejudiced as well!

In other words…, she’s biased, discriminatory, partisan, partial, unfair, unjust and inequitable.

We are now regularly seeing evidence of a multi-tiered justice system in America…, and that’s a problem.

blind 1

We see the political, social, and economic elite being treated quite differently from you and I.

You and I never get the benefit of the doubt.

You and I never get the consideration of what our “intent” was.

blind 2

You and I don’t get the best team of lawyers that money can buy.

Here is just the most recent case that makes my point.

A recent headline form Claudia Harmata of People Magazine announced, “Homeless Mom Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison for Using Friend’s Address to Enroll Son in School.”

“In 2011, Tanya McDowell wanted a better education for her then 5-year-old son Andrew, and enrolled him in an elementary school in the neighboring town of Norwalk — using her son’s babysitter’s address for registration papers. At the time, she and her son were living out of her van and homeless shelters, and spending nights at an apartment in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Post had reported.”

Okay…, my first questions is, how could she be “sentenced for enrolling her son in a school district where he did not reside,” if she was homeless?!

If you’re homeless, can’t you be homeless in any district?

“The mother was arrested and charged with first-degree larceny and served five years behind bars for the ‘stolen’ education.”

‘“Who would have thought that wanting a good education for my son would put me in this predicament?’ McDowell, who also had prior drug charges, said in court at the time of her sentencing. ‘I have no regrets seeking a better education for him, I do regret my participation in this drug case.’”

Five years in prison for this?!

Seriously?!

I mean there are people convicted of manslaughter, and committing crimes with weapons who don’t serve that much time.

But she gets five years for enrolling her son in school in a different district?!

And Connecticut is supposedly a liberal “blue” state?

If “Lady Justice” is blind, then someone must have told her that Ms. McDowell was a poor, African-American woman, who could be treated like a second class citizen.

Would an illegal immigrant even be treated like this?

The answer is HELL NO!

Oh…, and who complained on her behalf that she was separated from her children like all of these poor non-citizens at our southern border?

All Ms. McDowell heard was crickets.

Currently, we also have the cases of rich, white, liberal parents defrauding college entrance exams and buying preferential college entrance treatment, involving actresses Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin and dozens of others.

blind 6

Felicity Huffman was just recently sentenced to 14 days in jail and a $30,000 fine.

blind 4

That’s 1,811 days less that Ms. McDowell had to serve for her terrible crime!

blind 7

And who thinks that Lori Loughlin will get anywhere close to five years in prison for her lawlessness?

My hand certainly isn’t up.

Hey…, when you’re facing jail time, you’ll take all of the elite, white, liberal privilege you can get, right Lori?!!

Some people argue that nobody benefits from these elites serving jail time, but just paying a fine is no deterrent for people with tons of money.

Why did all of these elites defraud the college entrance process?

Because they believed they could, and get away with it!

And sadly, they were right.

They say, “Birds of a feather flock together,” don’t they?

Yes they do.

And they do.

“Birds of a feather flock together” is an old English proverb, dating back over 500 years.  It suggests that people of like beliefs and like behaviors that travel in similar circles tend to congregate together and with each other.

Just as with many stereotypes, these proverbs are usually based in truth.

In this case particular case, we have the Obamas involved with an individual who is being charged in the recent college entrance bribery scheme.

According to Ryan Gaydos of Fox News, “A tennis coach who worked with the family of former President Barack Obama was among the 50 people charged Tuesday in a college admissions scheme in which wealthy parents allegedly bribed coaches and others to get their children accepted to some of the top schools in the U.S.”

“Gordon Ernst, 52, was a former tennis coach at Georgetown University and the University of Rhode Island.  He is accused of conspiracy to commit racketeering while he was at Georgetown.”

“Ernst was at Georgetown [University] from 2012 to 2017 and was the personal instructor of former first lady Michelle Obama and her daughters, Sasha and Malia, according to the Providence Journal.”

“None of the Obamas are implicated in the scandal in any way.”

No…, of course they’re not.

But there is also something called “guilt by association.”

Here we have a guy, working with the president’s wife and his daughters as a “personal instructor.”

How was he referred for this job?

Who referred him for this job?

Was he not checked out before being allowed to work so closely with the first family?

I’m just wondering.

Or were his “special skills” as a college recruiter put to use in the case of the Obama family girls as well?

How about Obama family friends?

How about other individuals in the Obama administration?

Aren’t these valid questions given the situation?

I mean, I know the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media” would never go down that road, but I would think a responsible and fair media would find its way to at least check this out a little bit.

“Ernst allegedly accepted nearly $3 million in bribes and in return helped a dozen students get onto the Georgetown’s tennis team, including kids who didn’t actually play the sport in a competitive fashion, according to the New York Post.”

The scam, which helped liberal Hollywood elites get their children admitted to the colleges of their choice, has produced charges of fraud, racketeering, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, for starters.

Remember, “Birds of a feather DO flock together.”  Be mindful of who you’re “flocking” with!
