Unemployment rates are high? You don’t say?!

I’m really getting tired of every time I turn on the news…, any news…, fake or not…, and I hear people bemoaning the unemployment rates.

“We lost 15 million jobs last month!”

“The unemployment rate is at 14.7%!”

“The unemployment rate could go as high as 20% or even 25%!”

“We haven’t seen unemployment rates approaching these levels since The Great Depression!”

NO KIDDING?!

YOU DON’T SAY?!

WE INTENTIONALLY SHUT OUR ECONOMY DOWN…, WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT?!

The real news would be if the unemployment rates didn’t skyrocket!

And as if President Trump’s economic policies are somehow responsible for this.

As The President likes to remind everyone…, before this voluntary shut down, our economy had been the BEST EVER in US history, and unemployment rates had been at historic, all-time, lows.

Again…, our government chose to shut down our economy for the sake of health considerations pertaining to the coronavirus.

This was not a case of failed economic policies, as in the case of the Obama administration, for example.

These reporters all act like they’re passing along some great breaking news they skillfully unearthed.

Please, do us all a favor, and go ahead and report the numbers…, but please spare us the over-dramatization, and put the situation in the proper and honest perspective.

I mean, what you talkin’ ‘bout Giridharadas?

Brian Flood of Fox News reports that, “MSNBC’s Anand Giridharadas [says that] Americans’ ‘freedom obsession’ blinds them to other ‘threats.’

Oh, really? You’re an American Anand. What’s with the “them” reference?

Anyway…, please…, go on.

“MSNBC contributor Anand Giridharadas declared on Wednesday that Americans have a ‘freedom obsession’ when speaking about the coronavirus pandemic during an appearance on ‘Morning Joe.’”

Oh, I get it now. For the sake of this interview, when Giridharadas uses the term “Americans,” he is really referring to us “deplorables.”

Just for reference sake, Anand Giridharadas is a former columnist for The fake news New York Times.

And, yes, Mr. Giridharadas, we “Americans” do have a “freedom obsession,” since our kind of “American freedom” shouldn’t be taken for granted. And our kind of “American freedom” was bitterly fought for and defended with the lives and the blood of millions of American fathers, brothers, mothers, sisters, sons and daughters.

Our freedom did not come freely, and we’re not going to hand it over for any reason…, to include a virus, climate change, or whatever.

“Giridharadas continues by asking, ‘One of the fundamental questions to me is, what’s going to be our relationship to government, the idea of government after this?’”

True Americans’ relationship with government is that of a necessary evil.

Let me say that again. True Americans’ relationship with government is that of a necessary evil. We don’t view government as our friend, our mommy, our daddy, or our baby sitter.

Remember…, the second amendment to the US Constitution says, “…being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This was put into The Constitution not for our right to have weapons to go hunting. This was put into The Constitution to guarantee the American people would be able to defend themselves against an oppressive government.

And you think we have a “freedom obsession.”

This guy has really given this a lot of thought!

So, now you’re referring to us deplorables as cavemen and cavewomen?

And you claim our country was “founded on slavery and genocide?”

Allow me to correct you Mr. Giridharadas.

The United States of America WAS NOT “founded on slavery and genocide.”

Slavery was a component of our country’s history, just as slavery was a component of most countries’ histories, and it was a practice our country corrected.

And “genocide [the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation]?” The European immigrants (And you like immigrants, don’t you?) and later our young country was in a war with the Native Americans. People on both sides died fighting this war. And The United States won that war. Even though we won that war…, if you look at how our Native Americans are being treated today, even though they were a conquered people, you would have to say they’re doing pretty good. Even better than pretty good. They are respected and supported by our government.

Our history with the Native American “Indians” is a FAR cry from genocide.

We’re not “blind” Mr. Giridharadas…, and we’re certainly not afraid…, we’re just able to put it all into perspective…, from the deplorable point of view.

“Giridharadas said a ‘more recent, kind of 40-year version’ is the ‘Reagan war on government,’ which he said is an idea that impacts Americans on both sides of the aisle.”

President Reagan was a wise man, and he put America and the American people first, just like President Trump does. Although we can track this acknowledgement of freedom back even earlier to President Kennedy.

‘“There’s a hard version on the right, there’s a small c, conservative kind of militant version of it, but it has also infected many people on the left in this passive sense, like ‘I believe in government,’ but ‘I would never go work there,’ or ‘I believe in government but, you know, I kind of like don’t like my taxes too high, or I use trusts in the Cayman Islands.’”

Your level of confusion, Mr. Giridharadas, is truly impressive!

“Militant?” This could be, or may be, I guess.

“Infected many people on the left?” It seems that you’re confusing some democrats opening their eyes and waking up with them being slightly “infected’” by conservatism.

Okay…, and here comes the perfunctory Trump bashing segment of Giridharadas’ comments.

“Giridharadas said ‘The more recent Trump-era twist is when…you put someone who can barely read a sentence in government, in the figure of Donald Trump, and it becomes true [that] government sucks, because you made it suck by telling everybody it sucks. I think the most important thing that could come out of this is realizing the government is not the biggest threat to our liberty.’”

Oh. No?!

Have you been paying attention to what the FBI and the DOJ attempted to do to President Trump and his associates? I would have to say that our government [at least “the deep state” and “the swamp”] has shown itself to absolutely be “the biggest threat to our liberty.”

‘“It can be a threat to our liberty but we’re threatened by many, many things and what the government fundamentally does is protect us.’”

Theoretically, our government should have our best interests in mind and be protecting us…, but in many cases that is just not the case.

Democrats aim to spread and finance their own disease called liberalism.

Yes, my friends, democrats are aiming to spread and finance their own disease called liberalism on the back of the coronavirus.

Adam Shaw of Fox News reports that, “Former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said during the 2008 financial crisis that lawmakers should ‘never let a crisis go to waste,’ and many Democrat lawmakers appear to be heeding that advice — using the coronavirus pandemic as a jumping-off point to renew calls for a historic expansion of government.”

Which is an expansion of “the deep state” and an expansion of “the swamp.”

“The view that the crisis should be an axis for deep, long-lasting change was on display during negotiations over the $2 trillion stimulus package, in which House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn reportedly said that the package was ‘a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.’”

And what exactly is your “vision” Mr. Clyburn?

May I say I feel you’ve been on that “liberal plantation” way too long, Mr. Clyburn?

“That remark brought criticism from Republicans, when Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., said of Clyburn’s comments: ‘When we see a rising body count, they see a political opportunity. Shame on them.’”

Shame on them indeed.

“But Clyburn’s sentiment was reflected at the time in an ultimately unsuccessful House Democratic stimulus proposal that included environmental regulations on airplanes, diversity demands for the boards of companies receiving bailouts, as well as other wish list items.”

Skeptics of my outlook towards these democrats really need to take a step back, look at what’s going on, and make an honest assessment of their desires and their intentions…, neither of which are good things for America and We The People…, unless you are a recent immigrant from Venezuela and you already miss the socialism there and the government controlling every aspect of your life.

According to Katelyn Burns for Vox.com, “Joe Biden says the pandemic response is an opportunity for structural change.”

“The former vice president highlighted needed changes to the voting system, as well as environmental and economic reforms.”

Ahhh, yes…, we must change our voting system and pretend to help the environment in order to combat the coronavirus!

‘“I think it’s going to, it may not dwarf, but eclipse what [Franklin Delano Roosevelt] faced,’ he said. ‘We have an opportunity, Chris [Cuomo], to do so many things now to change some of the structural things that are wrong, some of the structural things we couldn’t get anyone’s attention on.’”

Oh, you got a lot of peoples’ attention, Creepy Joe…, but only because your “structural change” ideas were so ill-contrived and stupid.

“The combination of the pandemic and a free-falling economy has exposed several policy shortfalls that some Democrats have been speaking to for years. In the two weeks before March 28, about 10 million people in the US filed initial claims for unemployment, the most since the statistic started being tracked in 1967. ‘The Band-Aid’s been ripped off,’ Biden said.”

The only “policy shortfalls” this whole pandemic nightmare has exposed is the failed fairy tale that says government run and administered healthcare is a better system and that we can trust the liberals in government “to take care of us.”

Hillary Clinton has said basically the same things as Creepy Joe as of late.

‘“We just have to reject any calls for a return to normal,’ Rep. Pressley said Monday. [That’s Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts] ‘Because that normal is one that was slowly killing people.’”

These lefties are opposed to a return to “normal?”

If we’re going to hand money out, let’s REALLY hand some money out!

Howard Gleckman, for Forbes Media, says, “Congress is about to pass [actually has already passed] another coronavirus relief bill, adding another $500 billion to the more than $2 trillion it already spent to support business and individuals in the midst of the pandemic. And it likely will approve trillions more in future stimulus in the coming months.”

And spending money “to support business and individuals” is just a portion of the spending. There is quite a bit of spending in these “relief” bills that goes to the states and to a whole collection of non-covid related entities just looking for a hand-out.

And what do WE get from all of this spending? WE get like $1,200…, if we’re lucky. Many of us will get ZERO because we’re so wealthy or don’t qualify somehow. Ha!

So, WE may get a measly $1,200 while these other governmental charities get millions and billions of dollars thrown at them.

Our representatives in Washington are already starting to argue over where the next round of trillions of dollars in “relief” spending will go.

Allow me to offer a suggestion.

JUST GIVE THE PEOPLE SOME RELIEF!

If you’re going to waste OUR money…, “waste it on us!

In your own words Pelosi, quit throwing all of us “crumbs!”

I’m pretty sure we would do a better job of spending our money than the government does.

Let’s amend that to ABSOLUTELY SURE.

If we gave EVERY adult in the country (209 million people) $25,000, it would cost us 5.225 trillion dollars…, or about what we’ll end up spending anyway in total, anyway.

If we wanted to get a little crazier, we could give every adult $50,000 at a cost of 10.45 trillion dollars.

And really, what’s another 5 trillion bucks between friends?

No one else seems to be worried about spending money we don’t have.

So, what does a trillion of something look like, anyway?

The United States national debt is currently over 20 trillion dollars. We hear these HUGE numbers thrown around all the time, but does anyone really have a grip on what a BILLION or a TRILLION of anything really looks like?

Just for a refresher on how you get to a Trillion and beyond, recall from grade school the implications of adding three zeros after a “one”.

1 = One

1,000 = One Thousand

1,000,000 = One Million

1,000,000,000 = One Billion

1,000,000,000,000 = One Trillion

1,000,000,000,000,000 = One Quadrillion

1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = One Quintillion

Quadrillions?

Quintillions?

Our national deficit is only in the lower trillions now.

We’ve got a lot of room to grow our debt!

In fact, we’ll never run out of bigger numbers!

That’s just a fact.

The Imagination Station website asks, “OK, so what does a trillion look like?”

The problem with most answers to questions like this is that they try to put it into perspective by relating it to things normal people have no perspective for. For instance, did you know that one trillion dollars would stretch nearly from the earth to the sun?

I don’t know when the last time you traveled from the earth to the sun, but for me this comparison is just as mind-boggling as the concept of a trillion of something.

One Million Pennies

The Megapenny project uses something a lot more common to most of us, a penny. Most people have a few in their pockets or in a jar and it provides a much better sense of scale. Round up 16 of them, stack them on top of each other into a little pile and it’s one inch tall. Place them side by side in a line and they stretch out one foot.

So much for what’s in your pockets, now break open your piggy banks and gather up one million pennies. One million pennies creates a wall four feet wide, five feet tall and one foot thick.

One Billion Pennies

Stepping up to a billion, things start to change as we start imagining stacks of pennies the size of a typical school bus. Five school buses to be exact.

Add another three zeros and we begin to enter into the realm of the national debt (in dollars – not pennies). One trillion pennies would create a mind boggling cube with edges nearly as long as a football field.

One Trillion Pennies

Of course, the final step here is to image twenty (20) of these cubes of pennies. Each penny representing one dollar of the national debt. The physical representation of large numbers is an interesting way to wrap your head around what it means to say something is in the billions or trillions, and beyond.

So, Congress…, if you’re going to throw all of this “funny money” around…, remember…, it’s not YOUR money, it’s OUR money, and we want some of it back without it having to filter down through your wasteful and misdirected bureaucracy.

This is the type of hate we are up against.

According to Dom Calicchio of Fox News, “A professor at a New Jersey university is blaming President Trump and his supporters for the impact of the coronavirus outbreak, claiming it’s their fault African-Americans have been dying at a disproportionate rate.”

You are to blame,’ were among the comments – several of them containing profanity – posted on Twitter this week by Brittney Cooper, an associate professor in the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Rutgers University.”

First of all…, seriously Rutgers? This level of racism and general idiocy is allowed at your university?

Secondly…, this person is allowed to interact with and teach students at your university?

Rutgers University is obviously an unapologetic, anti-American, liberal indoctrination and promotional center…, as well as a liberal disinformation mouthpiece.

Like I have said in previous blogs…, it is time to start calling out these individuals and institutions for what they are. The days of giving these people the benefit of the doubt are over.

C’MON MAN!

You can say that again!

According to Joe Hernandez and Nicholas Pugliese of WHYY-FM, a PBS and NPR affiliate in Philadelphia, “During his daily press briefing Wednesday, Murphy [Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey] unleashed an uncharacteristically angry tirade [Why does an “angry tirade” need to be characterized?] against U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for comments he made earlier in the day.”

“The Republican from Kentucky suggested that some states and cities should declare bankruptcy instead of relying on the federal government to prop up public finances that have been obliterated by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Please notice how McConnell is tagged as “the republican from Kentucky, but that Murphy is not identified as a democrat.

Specifically, according to Ted Barrett and Manu Raju of CNN, “Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took a hard line Wednesday against more funding for state and local governments in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, saying that Republicans are not interested in ‘revenue replacement for state governments’ or ‘solving their pension problems.’”

“McConnell’s tough words came a day after the Senate approved a $484 billion bill [known as coronavirus response bill phase 3.5] to help small businesses and hospitals respond to the coronavirus outbreak.”

“McConnell suggested in interviews Wednesday that Democrats are trying to get the federal government to essentially bail out state and local governments for bad decisions they have made related to public pension obligations and other sources of expensive debt.”

‘“I would certainly be in favor of allowing states to use the bankruptcy route,’ McConnell told Hugh Hewitt in a radio interview. ‘It saves some cities. And there’s no good reason for it not to be available. My guess is their first choice would be for the federal government to borrow money from future generations to send it down to them now so they don’t have to do that. That’s not something I’m going to be in favor of.’”

Agreed. Why should states, that have been fiscally responsible, now be forced to bail out those states which have blown their budgets year after year after year, and spent money they never had, or were ever going to have.

“New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, also slammed McConnell’s remarks Wednesday, calling it ‘one of the dumbest statements of all time.’”

I ask you…, why should the people of McConnell’s state, Kentucky, who are looked down upon as “ignorant hillbillies” by the “oh so wise and smart east coast liberals,” pick-up the tab because these “oh so wise and smart east coast liberals” don’t know how to balance their checkbook?

And it’s gone way beyond the “balancing of checkbooks.” These “oh so wise and smart east coast liberals” have the equivalent of multiple personal loans, multiple second mortgages, and a wallet full of maxed out credit cards.

Governor Cuomo then told his brother, CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “Cuomo Prime Time,” ‘“He then says this is a bailout to the blue states, which was a really offensive statement.’”

This is the worst kind of “offensive statement” for a liberal…, BECAUSE IT’S THE TRUTH!

‘“Come on, man,’ Murphy said. ‘That is completely and utterly irresponsible [referring to McConnell’s suggestion that the states consider bankruptcy].’”

“C’mon yourself, Murph!

It is you and your blue state friends who are, and who have been, “utterly irresponsible.”

“Murphy suggested that, absent federal help, states would be able to stay financially afloat but be forced to make painful decisions about spending cuts.”

Cry us all a river Murphy.

Everyone, everywhere, is forced to make painful decisions from time to time. That’s why you all are in the position you’re in. No one chooses to be responsible or accountable.

‘“We will gut the living daylights in every state in America out of the services — the exact services — that our citizens need right now. We will just cut, cut, cut, and cut,’ Murphy warned.”

No, Governor Murphy…, not “every state…,” just those states, like yours, which have been mismanaged, while spending foolishly and irresponsibly for decades.

“Murphy again called on federal lawmakers to provide direct cash assistance to states that have been hardest hit by the pandemic so they could help residents ‘in their most profound hour of need.’”

Are you not aware Governor Murphy, that on March 25^th, Congress passed phase 3 of the coronavirus response bill, called The CARES Act [Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security]?

This was a $2 trillion [that’s $2,000,000,000,000.00] relief bill that has already targeted $340 billion [that’s $340,000,000,000.00] in aid to cities and states, based on need, regarding those states affected the worst by the virus.

Your share of that should be quite substantial, Governor.

In fact, New Jersey would be second in line for this money based on the coronavirus case numbers, and would stand to receive over $40 billion [that’s $40,000,000,000.00] in aid!

SO, WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT, GOVERNOR?

Is that a “depends” you’re wearing for a mask?

I don’t see anybody bailing me out, my friends, our families or our businesses if we choose to be stupid with our money.

But apparently you “oh so wise and smart east coast, blue state, liberals” don’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else.

You just spend, spend, spend and spend, and then expect someone else to pick up the bill?

Like I said…, I don’t see anybody bailing me out, my friends, our families or our businesses if we choose to be stupid with our money.

We haven’t seen much from ANTIFA lately.

You know…, the group that would have you believe they are against fascism.

Yes…, the masked morons have been suspiciously absent so far in 2020.

I guess their mommies won’t let them come out and play during the coronavirus lock down.

Or maybe they’re just choosing to stay home, since their costumes with the masks wouldn’t stand out with everyone out here wearing masks or scarves over their faces now.

It’s more likely that the ANTIFA “coordinators” are just too lazy and inept to organize anything while the rest of the sissies and bimbos are away from college.

In any case, I just wanted to take the time to remind everyone about this pathetic group of brainwashed, liberal pawns, who represent fascism and the ones who are the real fascists.

ANTIFA claims to be anti-fascist, but they are the ones running around with masks on, hiding their identities, and using force to intimidate those who don’t agree with them.

ANTIFA claims to be anti-fascist, but they are the ones who are opposed to free market capitalism, while promoting socialism.

Excuse me…, but were there any fascist regimes that weren’t socialist in nature?

So, when these ANTIFA posers decide to surface again, just remember to recognize them for what they are.

Remember to recognize them as lonely, rudderless, fools, whose desire to “belong” so badly, has led them to become a part of this confused, and manipulated, fascist and socialistic movement.

“Which way did he go, George…, which way did he go?!”

This phrase is from a 1940 Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies short film titled “Of Fox and Hounds.”

The cartoon focuses on a sly fox, George, and a lovable but dimwitted hound, Willoughby, who repeatedly asks George where the fox went, never suspecting that his “friend” George is the fox.

According to Julia Marsh and Jorge Fitz-Gibbon of The New York Post, “It is ‘unconscionable’ that Rikers Island inmates who were released due to coronavirus concerns are committing new crimes, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday.”

For my purposes here, De Blasio would be Willoughby, the lovable but dimwitted hound, minus the lovable part, and the released inmates would be represented by, George, the sly fox.

‘“I think it’s unconscionable just on a human level that folks were shown mercy and this is what some of them have done,’ the mayor said during his morning briefing Monday, which came on the heels of a Post report outlining the issue.”

This article tells you all you need to know about the naive and clueless liberal mindset.

“De Blasio said the number of re-offenders remains relatively small and that the city was ‘buckling down’ on monitoring and supervising released prisoners.”

“The number of re-offenders remains relatively small,” Mr. Mayor?

The number should be really small…, LIKE ZERO!

Everything else over zero is on you at this point.

Just for the record, “More than 1,400 city inmates have been granted early releases due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus.”

The Post reported Sunday that, “At least 50 of the newly released Rikers Island prisoners were rearrested for new crimes in recent weeks — and in some cases were cut loose again.”

Wait, what?!

THEY WERE CUT LOOSE AGAIN?!!!!!!!!!!

The level of irresponsibility and idiocy displayed here, by de Blasio and other New York City officials, is truly impressive!

“The Legal Aid Society, Bronx Defenders and other legal defense groups have been petitioning courts since the outbreak of the deadly global pandemic, arguing that inmates, particularly those who are older or have medical conditions, are more vulnerable to the deadly bug within the confines of city jails.”

What “defense groups” are petitioning the courts regarding the vulnerability of law-abiding citizens who will now be forced to deal with over a thousand convicted criminals being released into their midst?

The survivability rate for the coronavirus is 98.5%

The “survivability” rate of being affected by these criminals committing another crime is only 96.5%.

And the Mayor’s “virus of ignorance” is completely preventable!

According to Andrew O’Reilly of Fox News, “Angry demonstrators took to the streets in North Carolina and Missouri on Tuesday to voice their discontent at their states’ stay-at-home orders amid the coronavirus pandemic.”

And these aren’t your typical run-of-the-mill protesters either!

These are all the people who are normally too busy working and don’t have the time to protest!

“The protests in Raleigh, N.C. and Jefferson City, Mo., are the latest in a series of protests across the country against state lockdown orders – fueled by tweets of support from President Trump and the economic unease caused by the coronavirus.”

“Holding handmade signs with slogans like ‘My Rights Are Essential’ and ‘ReOpenNC,’ hundreds of people marched through downtown Raleigh while chanting ‘Freedom Now.’”

“Similar signs along with a slew of American flags were seen as people began to gather outside the Missouri Capitol building.”

“Protests against the lockdown orders have cropped up in numerous states over the past few weeks as some Americans have become frustrated with being told to stay at home and with the economic freefall the virus has caused.”

The virus didn’t cause the “freefall…,” it was the liberal media’s and the democrats’ reaction to it this time around that caused it.

“The federal government said Thursday that 5.2 million more Americans applied for unemployment benefits last week, bringing the four-week total to about 22 million out of a work force of 159 million — easily the worst stretch of U.S. job losses on record. The losses translate to about one in seven workers.”

“Last week, hundreds of cars, trucks and SUVs descended on Michigan’s state capital Wednesday afternoon as part of a noisy protest against Democratic Gov. “Four states – Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas – already have lifted some restrictions or plan to this week.”

“Despite the protests and opening up of some states, many lawmakers and public health officials warn that the country is far from safe when it comes to dealing with the virus.”

The point is we’ll never be “safe.”

We were never “safe” to begin with.

If the democrats’ ultimate goal is to be safe…, here’s some suggestions…,

…quit letting criminals out of jail early so they can prey on law abiding citizens again!

…knock off this sanctuary city garbage, which protects and hides illegal immigrants with criminal records from federal authorities.

…support President Trump in his efforts to stop the flow of illegal immigrants, criminals, drugs, and human traffickers along our southern border.

…stop promoting drug use and homelessness in your big cities.

So, there. If you democrats really want to promote safety, those are some good places to start with.

The cure can’t be worse than the disease itself.

This underlying belief is why we have never “shut down” the world before because of “the flu.”

But now we have established a precedent.

Do we really intend on “shutting down” the world every year or every other year?

Since when do we quarantine the healthy and the sick?

Tyler Olson of Fox News reports that, “Defensive Dems scold coronavirus lockdown protesters as rallies spread across country.”

“As protests spread against the stay-at-home orders put in place by governors across the country, some prominent Democrats have panned the demonstrations as dangerous and ill-informed, saying the protesters risk spreading coronavirus among themselves and contributing to a spike in cases in their states.”

How typically elitist of you to scold these protesters who were not sanctioned by the liberal hierarchy.

But, remember…, the cure can’t be worse than the disease itself.

What would be worse…, losing your business, losing your job, losing your home, losing a place to live, losing all of your money and having to depend on charity to eat…, or possibly getting a flu that has a 98.5% survivability rate? Which is about the same rate as every other flu that’s come down the pike?

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., addressed the protesters in an interview on ‘Fox News Sunday’ with Chris Wallace.”

‘“No, not really,’ she said when asked if she understood why people are demonstrating. ‘…I’m respectful [of] whatever people think they should say, but the fact is this has to be science-based, evidence-based, data-based.’”

Of course, she can’t understand why people are demonstrating!

She hasn’t lost her job!

I mean, she’s been in Congress for the last 100 years!

She’s still getting paid.

Her family’s livelihood isn’t being threatened.

And all of her supporters are still receiving their government checks on schedule.

She’s got enough of cash in her big fat bank accounts, just like all of her other elitist friends, to hold her over for years.

“Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on MSNBC last week said that the protests against her stay-at-home order may lead her to extend the order, due to the fact so many people could have been exposed to the coronavirus.”

Why don’t you just get it over with and extend your order until 2022?

That way you’ll be sure to be safe from the virus…, right?

There’ll be nothing left of the state of Michigan, but you will have saved lives…, at least from the virus.

Remember…, the cure can’t be worse than the disease itself!

On a side note…, please remember that protesters are only deemed “political” when they are in disagreement with the liberal policies. Sunday, Washington Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee explicitly said the protests were ‘illegal.’”

If I’m not mistaken, Jay, the right to protest is protected by The Constitution…, regardless of any orders you may be laying down.

Remember…, the cure can’t be worse than the disease itself.

“The anti-stay-at-home order protests are often largely made up of supporters of the president, waving Trump flags and wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ hats. The governors of Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia are also all Democrats.”

Oh…, I’m sure that every single one of the protesters are Trump supporters.

What a disingenuous statement.

I’m sure there are quite a few democrats who also see the harm that some of these extended stay-at-home orders could cause.

“Governors of both parties have cautioned against lifting social distancing measures too soon and too completely…”

“[President] Trump’s plan to reopen the economy similarly does so in phases, ‘one careful step at a time.’”

“But Democrats have been more forceful in their rhetoric, not just against protesters but also by keeping states closed.”
