OBAMAGATE!

Regarding the reporting of Obamagate, Jonathan Tobin’s heart is in the right place, but his understanding has a long way to go to catch up.

Jonathan Tobin, wrote in The New York Post, “For reporting Obamagate straight, media knives are out for Catherine Herridge.”

“Journalists are pack animals, he continues.”

I would say that’s being extremely kind.

Jackasses are considered pack animals, aren’t they?

He continues, “That’s especially true in Washington. Despite the hunger for scoops, when it comes to the substance of stories, few have the guts to go against the ideological groupthink that prevails in our nation’s capital.”

Hunger for scoops?

Are you serious?

Their hunger for “scoops” exists only as long as these “scoops” pertain to negative news about President Trump, his administration, republicans in Congress, and republicans and conservatives in general.

And you think what we’re dealing with here is “groupthink,” huh?

I’m sorry, Mr. Tobin…, this isn’t groupthink, it’s called toeing the party line…, promoting the approved narrative…, pushing the desired propaganda, or performing propaganda by omission.

“That’s what makes CBS’ Catherine Herridge so exceptional,” Tobin goes on to say.

So, a journalist doing what a journalist should be doing makes them exceptional these days?

I guess it does, actually.

“In an era when too many network journalists slant their reporting to serve establishment opinion, Herridge sticks to the facts. Her dogged determination to get to the bottom of stories has made her an invaluable source on the national-security beat.”

If I didn’t know any better, Mr. Tobin, I’d say you have a little thing for Catherine Herridge! Why else would you throw yourself to the liberal wolves to sing Catherine Herridge’s praises?

And, “when too many network journalists slant their reporting?”

Is that what your calling all of this conspiratorial, fraudulent “reporting,” Mr. Tobin…, being “slanted?”

“Her sterling quality and integrity have also put a target on her back. When it came to the ‘collusion hoax,’ she dared to let the truth guide her. Likewise, with her reporting into government misconduct in the prosecution of President Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn.”

“Most of her colleagues reveled in collusion falsehoods — and ignored FBI wrongdoing. She did the opposite.”

They did more than revel in the “collusion falsehoods,” they knowingly perpetuated these “falsehoods” (LIES) on the American people for well over two years!

TWO YEARS!

Day after day…, night after night.

“But there’s always a price to be paid for refusing to conform. If you expose documents that further discredit the already-exploded myth that Trump colluded with Russia, you are going to lose friends in Washington.”

So, exposing the truth will cause you to “lose friends” amongst the Washington media.

That alone is quite telling.

“If you show that there was a concerted attempt to spy on his campaign and to leak information designed to paralyze his administration, you aren’t going to be popular with journalists who were part of this effort.”

So, she’s not going to be popular with “journalists” who got the story entirely wrong…, knew they got the story entirely wrong…, earned “journalism” awards for their excellence in reporting a story that was entirely false, but pushed it anyway because their ultimate goal was to discredit President Trump and somehow remove him from office?

Hopefully Catherine Herridge is okay with that. I always liked her, and I also felt she was one of the few who had a degree of integrity left.

“So, it’s hardly surprising that Herridge — a star reporter at Fox News from 1996 until last year before moving to CBS — has been subjected to abuse by Joe Biden’s campaign mouthpiece and backstabbed by her colleagues in recent days.”

Her big mistake was allowing herself to be lured to CBS, just like Megyn Kelly was lured to NBC.

You know the old saying, “Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer?”

Megyn Kelly was eventually silenced at NBC, and I expect Catherine Herridge will be silenced as well at CBS in the not too distant future.

Eating their contracts is a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things.

And don’t be fooled…, THE LIBERAL NARRATIVE IS ONE, BIG, GRAND SCHEME.

“Say it ain’t so, Joe!”

Yes…, “say it ain’t so, Joe…, again, and again, and again, and again…

Has there been an interview or an appearance in the last few months where Sleepy, Creepy, Quid Pro Quo Joe hasn’t stuck his foot in his mouth or just couldn’t put two understandable sentences together?

Seriously…, I’m asking.

My response would have to be no.

If you can give me an example where he seemed coherent, intelligible, and presidential, please feel free to email me and make your case.

In this latest interview, Sleepy Joe Biden stated that, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

This, of course, was said in his typical wise a$$ tone…, like the tone Quid Pro Quo Joe used in his Ukraine interview where he said, “I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired.”

Ha! “Well, son of a bitch,” Joe!

“Son of a bitch!”

Hey…, wouldn’t you say that “bitch” is a derogatory and misogynistic term there, Creepy Joe?

Just sayin’.

I mean, since you like name calling and labeling people so much, yourself.

You better watch it or you might fall off of that high horse you ride around on.

Anyway…, getting back to the “you ain’t black” crack…

Eric Bradner, Sarah Mucha and Arlette Saenz of CNN report that, “Joe Biden said he ‘shouldn’t have been such a wise guy’ on Friday hours after he told a popular African American radio host that anyone struggling to decide whether to support him or President Donald Trump in the general election ‘ain’t black.’”

On a side note…, have you noticed it seems that no one over at CNN is capable of writing an article on their own anymore?

All of their stories seem to be authored by at least two people, and sometimes three, and sometimes even four.

Just sayin’…, again.

Bradner, Mucha and Saenz continue by saying, “The presumptive Democratic nominee’s comment came at the end of an at times tense interview with Charlamagne tha God on ‘The Breakfast Club.’”

“A staffer interjected that Biden needed to go, and Charlamagne shot back: ‘You can’t do that to black media!’”

Of course, he can, Charlamagne!

He can do whatever he wants to the black media.

He’s Joe “freakin’” Biden.

All he has to do is show up, feed you the normal liberal line of BS, and collect your monoracial block of votes.

You better get with the democrat plantation program for blacks, Charlamagne!

And you better watch it or Creepy Joe will be declaring that YOU ain’t black next!

‘“I do that to white media and black media because my wife has to go on at 6 o’clock,’ Biden said, referring to his wife Jill Biden apparently needing to use the broadcast studio they’ve built in their basement in Delaware as the coronavirus pandemic has knocked Biden off the campaign trail. Glancing at his watch, Biden said, ‘uh oh, I’m in trouble.’”

In more ways than one Creepy Joe! In more ways than one.

“Charlamagne told Biden that he should come to the studio in New York City for another interview, telling the former vice president that ‘we’ve got more questions.’”

‘“You’ve got more questions?’ Biden replied. ‘Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.’”

“Charlamagne responded, ‘It don’t have nothing to do with Trump. It has to do with the fact, I want something for my community.’”

‘“Take a look at my record, man!’ Biden shot back.”

Ya, man! Take a look at his pathetic record, man!

Ya man, take a look at what he and his friend Barack accomplished for the black community during the eight years they were in office.

They did zippo, nada, nothing, for the black community, except keep them well fed with their racial BS.

On the other hand, President Trump’s accomplishments have been quite substantial for the black community, including record low unemployment for black and black youth, establishing economic opportunity zones in inner-cities across the nation, his criminal justice reforms, and his commitment to strengthening black colleges.

“Later, on Friday afternoon, Biden addressed his comments in a call with the US Black Chamber of Commerce, saying, ‘I shouldn’t have been so cavalier’ and insisting he doesn’t ‘take black voters for granted.’”

That’s a lie, Creepy Joe, and we all know it.

‘“The bottom line of all of this perhaps is that I was much too cavalier. I know that the comments have come off like I was taking the African American vote for granted but nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve never, ever done that and I’ve earned it every time I’ve run,’ he said.”

No…, the “the bottom line” is you’re an old establishment democrat, and you’ve become quite adept at lying.

‘“I was making the point that I never take the vote for granted and in fact I know in order to win the presidency, I need the African American vote,’ Biden said. ‘I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy. I shouldn’t have been so cavalier.’”

It’s OK, Joe…, we understand…, we understand that stupid people tend to say stupid things.

“Biden at times during the 2020 race has quickly become testy when challenged over his record by groups the former vice president believes would fare worse under Trump.”

Can you even imagine the criticism President Trump would be facing if he had been behaving like Creepy Joe Biden has?

“Charlamagne said during an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett on Friday night that the former vice president’s comments were ‘just a shock coming from an old white man like Joe Biden.’”

For people who constantly play the race card, these libs always seem pretty predisposed to racial classifications.

Irregardless, “A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found Biden with 81% support among black voters to Trump’s 3%.”

Like I said earlier, all Creepy Joe has to do is show up, feed the African Americans the same old liberal line of BS, and collect their monoracial votes.

“Vice President Biden has spent his career fighting alongside and for the African American community. He won his party’s nomination by earning every vote and meeting people where they are and that’s exactly what he intends to do this November,’ senior Biden adviser Symone Sanders said of the interview on Twitter.”

He may have been doing a lot of “fighting,” Symone, but he hasn’t been doing a lot of winning for the African American community.

“She added: ‘The comments made at the end of the Breakfast Club interview were in jest, but let’s be clear about what the VP was saying: he was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African American community up against Trump’s any day. Period.”

Ohhh, Creepy Joe’s comments were all in “jest!’

Well, why didn’t you say so earlier?!

Remember what I have always said about democrats ending a statement with the word “period?”

Ending a statement with the word “period” is just an “official stamp” indicating a lie.

“Katrina Pierson, a Trump campaign senior adviser, said in a statement that Biden ‘believes black men and women are incapable of being independent or free thinking.’”

“[President] Trump in 2016 argued that black voters should reject Democrats who he argued had taken their votes for granted and back him, saying, ‘What the hell do you have to lose?’”

“Biden also defended his calls to decriminalize marijuana, rather than legalize it. He said that before legalizing it, he wants to wait and see the results of studies on ‘what it affects, doesn’t affect in long-term development of the brain. And we should wait till the studies are done.’” “I think we got decades of studies from actual weed smokers though,’ Charlamagne cut in.”

“Yeah, I do,’ Biden said. ‘I know a lot of weed smokers.’”

I kind of doubt that, Creepy Joe…, but I would tend to believe you were high at the time of this interview.

We hear about things being TOP SECRET and CLASSIFIED all of the time.

But who are these people with the power to withhold information from We The People, The Congress, The Senate, and even The President?

If we have learned anything over the last three plus years, it’s that these deep state bureaucrats are way too political, have way too much power, and feel they are above the law.

None of these people were elected…, and it seems that none of them feel accountable to anyone except the democrat hierarchy.

In this latest case, we have Senator Ron Johnson, of Wisconsin, requesting that an email from Susan Rice (Obama’s National security Advisor and former US Ambassador to The United Nations) be fully declassified.

I’m actually surprised the email in question wasn’t already deleted or had somehow disappeared, ala the Hillary Clinton emails.

According to Edmund DeMarche and Brooke Singman of Fox News, “On January 20, the last day of the Obama administration, outgoing National Security Adviser Susan Rice sat down to write her final memo.”

According to an anonymous source, Susan Rice starts of her memo by saying, “I have always loved you, Barack…”

Ha!

Anyway…, let’s get back to the matter of declassifying her entire email.

“Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisc., asked the Trump administration to declassify the entire email that President Obama’s former national security Susan Rice sent herself just before her boss was about to leave office, a report said.”

“Politico reported Monday that it viewed Johnson’s letter, which requested that Rice’s entire email that touched on the January 5, 2017, meeting be released. He said the email summarized the meeting where Obama and his top officials discussed the Michael Flynn case. Flynn was President Trump’s first national security adviser.”

“Earlier this month, Attorney General William Barr’s Justice Department dismissed the case against Flynn, who was seen as the key prosecution witness from Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign.”

“[President] Trump has been trying to go on the offensive after a string of developments he says bolstered his claim that the Russian collusion investigation conducted was nothing more than a political witch hunt.”

And President Trump shouldn’t even have to go on any “offensive.” It has now been shown that none of the people who testified regarding “Russian collusion” testified to any ties between President Trump or anyone in his campaign or administration to Russia.

It absolutely was just a hoax and a witch hunt.

But it was more…, I don’t think there is any reason to downplay the actions of these scumbags.

It was a coordinated coup and treason.

‘“This was all Obama; this was all Biden,’ he told ‘Sunday Morning Futures’ in an exclusive interview Sunday. ‘These people were corrupt. The whole thing was corrupt and we caught them.’”

“The White House meeting on Jan. 5, 2017 has been the source of speculation.”

“The roster in attendance included [President] Obama, Vice President Biden, Rice, then-FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, then-CIA Director John Brennan and then-Director of National Intelligence James Capper and they talked about the Flynn investigation.”

Man! If that isn’t a motley crew, then I don’t know what is!

“Obama asked Yates and Comey to ‘stay behind,’ and said he had ‘learned of the information about Flynn’ and his conversation with Sergey Kislyak, Russia’s ambassador, about sanctions, an exhibit in the DOJ’s motion to dismiss the Flynn case said.”

Do you see the level of conspiracy here?

Do you see the level of hypocrisy here?

President Trump is vilified if he even overtly makes a public suggestion regarding what his attorney general should do. And here we see the directors of all of these agencies in cahoots with each other and being directed by then President Obama.

Just a bunch of corrupt puppets and an even more corrupt puppet master.

Amazing.

But President Trump is impeached over some perfectly valid call with the president of The Ukraine?

Again…, amazing.

“Biden was recently asked about the meeting after the Trump administration released the Obama-era officials behind the Flynn’s ‘unmasking.’ Biden told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that he was ‘aware that there was, that they’d asked for, an investigation. But that’s all I know about it.’”

“Rice and other Obama officials have insisted that they did nothing wrong and that ‘unmasking’ is routine.”

Oh, really?

You mean they didn’t just give themselves up walk themselves into a federal prison?

That’s odd.

And, yes…, we know now that “unmasking” was routine for Obummer and his seven dwarves…, but it shouldn’t be “routine” for anybody.

“Routinely” unmasking US citizens, and especially political rivals, is definitely an abuse of this power.

“Johnson has been a vocal critic of the Obama administration and its role in the Flynn fallout. He recently told Fox News that he has long felt that there ‘has been a concerted effort to sabotage’ the Trump White House.”

Ya think?

“Johnson wrote the letter to Barr and pointed out that that most of Rice’s email was already declassified, but a portion remains a mystery.”

A mystery?

Who is determining that this portion of her email remain inaccessible and a “mystery?”

What is it that the deep staters are so worried about in her email?

Who are they trying to protect?

It sure isn’t President Trump or anyone in his administration, I can assure you of that!

New York City is an absolute disgrace.

The song about New York City goes, “If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere.”

The question is, who really wants to “make it there” anymore?

A state and a city being run by irresponsible, liberal, socialist, fools, tends to encourage all of those with any brains to migrate elsewhere.

Besides all of the ill-conceived, liberal, social, educational and administrative policies…, New York City residents pay dearly for the privilege of living there.

New Yorkers, of course, start out by paying federal income tax, most in the 12% to 22% range, or an average of 17%.

Next, we go to the state income tax. Most pay in the 6.2% to 6.5%, or an average of 6.35%.

Then we have New York City income tax, which only a few cities in America have. The New York City income tax rate ranges from 3.1% to 3.9%, or an average of 3.5%.

So, that give us a combined average income tax rate of 26.85%.

Keep in mind that states like Texas and Florida have NO state or local income taxes!

So, we’re at 26.85% so far.

But let’s not forget property tax!

The property tax rate is 20.4%! And even if you’re not a property owner, you are indirectly paying that rate through your rent for the property owner.

And last, but not least, we have the sales tax.

New York City has a sales tax of 8.875%!

Now that’s a lot of tax!

AND YET, NEW YORK STATE AND NEW YORK CITY ARE TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DEBT!

The actual debt for New York City is $91.56 billion!

New York State’s debt is close to $150 billion!

Unbelievable.

Like I SAID EARLIER…, A state and a city being run by irresponsible, liberal fools.

And now they (“they” meaning the New York State liberals, the New York City liberals, and the federal House and Senate democrats) want all of the rest of us to bail out these liberal cesspools via disguised money in the next coronavirus relief bill.

These democrat politicians just have no shame.

Anyway, so, what do the people of New York City get for all of that tax money?

They get a mayor, Bill de Blasio, who is a hot mess, and his administration which is one big hot mess as well.

The latest example of disgusting liberal behavior was exhibited by the New York City Health Commissioner, Dr. Oxiris Barbot.

And what a gem she is!

According to Fox News, via a story originally published in the New York Post, “The New York police sergeants union described city health commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot as a ‘b—-‘ Wednesday in response to revelations that she told an NYPD official she didn’t give ‘two rats a$$es’ about cops getting safety masks.”

Oh, how wonderful!

This is coming from a person who was handpicked by Mayor de Blasio, to be the city’s health commissioner…, offering her advice and wisdom to the 8.4 million people who live in New York City.

She obviously represents the de Blasio administration’s feelings towards police officers, and the NYPD overall, quite well.

‘“Truth is this b—- has blood on her hands but why should anyone be surprised the NYPD has suffered under de Blasio since he became Mayor,’ the Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) tweeted in response to The Post’s exclusive story revealing Barbot’s decision.”

“The health commissioner said in a mid-March phone conversation with NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan, ‘I don’t give two rats’ a$$es about your cops,’ in response to the mask request, sources said.”

‘“I need them for others,’ Barbot said.”

In other words, Cops are expendable and are dead last on her list of considerations.

“Instead of the 500,000 masks Monahan sought to help protect his force, Barbot said she could only cough up 50,000, according to sources.”

“Shortly after the SBA’s tweet, the union’s president, Edward Mullins, sent a statement calling for Barbot’s ouster.”

Your disdain for New York’s finest is obvious Dr. Barbot.

Your lack of knowledge pertaining to the coronavirus is quite obvious as well.

I wonder how quickly you’d be running to find one of these Neanderthal cops if you found yourself out on the streets in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn, or Downtown Brooklyn, or Ozone Park in Queens?

Your lack of any respect or consideration for your city’s police force is both sad and pathetic.

At least the rest of us can all take comfort in knowing you live in the city you deserve.

If they look like a duck, and walk like a duck, and talk like a duck…, THEY’RE A DUCK!

I keep hearing all of these conservative commentators referring to the illegal actions by Obama era officials as “failings.” The fake news, liberal propaganda media, of course, chooses to not make any mention of any of this.

To all of my conservative commentator friends referring to the behavior of Obama era administration officials, including Barack Obama himself, as “failings,” I say…,

THESE WERE NOT SIMPLY “FAILINGS!”

THESE WERE PREMEDITATED AND COORDINATED ACTS OF TREASON!

My conservative commentator friends are almost there, but they have to stop acting like these attempts to overthrow a newly, and duly, elected president of The United States were not intentional, but merely blunders of judgement and execution.

THESE PEOPLE ARE EVIL AND TRAITOROUS, BUT THEY ARE NOT STUPID.

These “ducks” need to be held accountable for their actions and pay the appropriate price.

Unemployment rates are high? You don’t say?!

I’m really getting tired of every time I turn on the news…, any news…, fake or not…, and I hear people bemoaning the unemployment rates.

“We lost 15 million jobs last month!”

“The unemployment rate is at 14.7%!”

“The unemployment rate could go as high as 20% or even 25%!”

“We haven’t seen unemployment rates approaching these levels since The Great Depression!”

NO KIDDING?!

YOU DON’T SAY?!

WE INTENTIONALLY SHUT OUR ECONOMY DOWN…, WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT?!

The real news would be if the unemployment rates didn’t skyrocket!

And as if President Trump’s economic policies are somehow responsible for this.

As The President likes to remind everyone…, before this voluntary shut down, our economy had been the BEST EVER in US history, and unemployment rates had been at historic, all-time, lows.

Again…, our government chose to shut down our economy for the sake of health considerations pertaining to the coronavirus.

This was not a case of failed economic policies, as in the case of the Obama administration, for example.

These reporters all act like they’re passing along some great breaking news they skillfully unearthed.

Please, do us all a favor, and go ahead and report the numbers…, but please spare us the over-dramatization, and put the situation in the proper and honest perspective.

According to Brian Flood of Fox News, “The New York Times published a polarizing op-ed on Wednesday by a feminist author who plans to vote for Joe Biden despite believing that he has committed sexual assault, all because she can’t stand President Trump.”

“Author Linda Hirshman penned the piece headlined, ‘I Believe Tara Reade. I’m Voting for Joe Biden Anyway.’ The author began by declaring she believes Tara Reade, who has accused presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden of sexual assault.”

‘“Let’s be clear: I believe Tara Reade,’ Hirshman wrote.”

‘“Democratic primary voters knew all about Mr. Biden’s membership in that boys’ club when there was still time to pick someone else. Alas,’ Hirshman wrote. ‘So, what’s a girl to do now?’”

A “girl?”

An old, two-faced, traitor to her gender, would be more like it.

I mean…, what’s a boy to do when he’s staring this kind of hypocrisy and the ugliest kind of disingenuousness that politics has to share, right in the face?

“The liberal author of ‘Reckoning: The Epic Battle Against Sexual Abuse and Harassment’ explained that discounting Reade’s claims, which she notes have ‘four corroborating witnesses,’ would be ‘nonsense.’”

Thank you. On this account, she’s absolutely right.

‘“So, stop playing gotcha with the female supporters of Mr. Biden or the #MeToo movement, making them lie to the camera — or perhaps to themselves — about doubting her to justify their votes,’ Hirshman wrote.”

Oh, it’s definitely the “lying to themselves” option.

And just for your information, Ms. Hirshman…, there has officially ceased to be a #METOO movement.

The #METOO movement has now been positively identified as the liberal sham that it is.

People should only mention #METOO in the future if they are looking for a laugh.

‘“I’ll take one for the team. I believe Ms. Reade, and I’ll vote for Mr. Biden [Creepy Joe] this fall.’”

You just go ahead and “take one” for that “team” of yours, Linda.

And what “team” would that exactly be by the way?

The Los Angeles Liars?

TREASON!

With all of the unbelievable evidence being unearthed as a result of the General Flynn debacle, and the release of previously suppressed depositions regarding Russian Collusion investigations, and the illegal FISA warrant applications, and the coordinated coup attempt by numerous democrats and numerous democrat “deep state” scum, assisted by their co-conspirators, the liberal propaganda fake news media…, there is no longer ANY question about their TREASONOUS behavior.

And make no mistake about it…, we are definitely talking about TREASON against The United States of America and its citizens.

TREASON is defined as follows: “In law, treason is criminal disloyalty, typically to the state. It is a crime that covers some of the more extreme acts against one’s nation or sovereign. This usually includes things such as participating in a war against one’s native country, attempting to overthrow its government, spying on its military, its diplomats, or its secret services for a hostile and foreign power, or attempting to kill its head of state. A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.”

Furthermore, according to 18 U.S. Code § 2381 regarding Treason: “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

I, personally, would be just fine seeing these traitors walked out in front of a firing squad and shot. That punishment may seem a bit extreme, but consider the crime(s).

Their actions have gone WAY beyond any kind of political gamesmanship.

Their actions had the intention of removing a duly elected president of These United States by ANY means necessary. Illegal means, fraudulent means, unconstitutional means, or any other kind of dubious means.

Yes…, their actions went WAY beyond any kind of political gamesmanship. These democrats and “deep state” democrats clearly, unmistakingly, and unapologetically, crossed the line into the disgraceful world of HIGH TREASON and TRAITOROUS behavior.

I pray that they all face justice and pay dearly for their crimes.

Brian Flood of Fox News reports that, “MSNBC’s Anand Giridharadas [says that] Americans’ ‘freedom obsession’ blinds them to other ‘threats.’

Oh, really? You’re an American Anand. What’s with the “them” reference?

Anyway…, please…, go on.

“MSNBC contributor Anand Giridharadas declared on Wednesday that Americans have a ‘freedom obsession’ when speaking about the coronavirus pandemic during an appearance on ‘Morning Joe.’”

Oh, I get it now. For the sake of this interview, when Giridharadas uses the term “Americans,” he is really referring to us “deplorables.”

Just for reference sake, Anand Giridharadas is a former columnist for The fake news New York Times.

And, yes, Mr. Giridharadas, we “Americans” do have a “freedom obsession,” since our kind of “American freedom” shouldn’t be taken for granted. And our kind of “American freedom” was bitterly fought for and defended with the lives and the blood of millions of American fathers, brothers, mothers, sisters, sons and daughters.

Our freedom did not come freely, and we’re not going to hand it over for any reason…, to include a virus, climate change, or whatever.

“Giridharadas continues by asking, ‘One of the fundamental questions to me is, what’s going to be our relationship to government, the idea of government after this?’”

True Americans’ relationship with government is that of a necessary evil.

Let me say that again. True Americans’ relationship with government is that of a necessary evil. We don’t view government as our friend, our mommy, our daddy, or our baby sitter.

Remember…, the second amendment to the US Constitution says, “…being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This was put into The Constitution not for our right to have weapons to go hunting. This was put into The Constitution to guarantee the American people would be able to defend themselves against an oppressive government.

And you think we have a “freedom obsession.”

And you claim our country was “founded on slavery and genocide?”

Allow me to correct you Mr. Giridharadas.

The United States of America WAS NOT “founded on slavery and genocide.”

Slavery was a component of our country’s history, just as slavery was a component of most countries’ histories, and it was a practice our country corrected.

And “genocide [the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation]?” The European immigrants (And you like immigrants, don’t you?) and later our young country was in a war with the Native Americans. People on both sides died fighting this war. And The United States won that war. Even though we won that war…, if you look at how our Native Americans are being treated today, even though they were a conquered people, you would have to say they’re doing pretty good. Even better than pretty good. They are respected and supported by our government.

Our history with the Native American “Indians” is a FAR cry from genocide.

We’re not “blind” Mr. Giridharadas…, and we’re certainly not afraid…, we’re just able to put it all into perspective…, from the deplorable point of view.

“Giridharadas said a ‘more recent, kind of 40-year version’ is the ‘Reagan war on government,’ which he said is an idea that impacts Americans on both sides of the aisle.”

President Reagan was a wise man, and he put America and the American people first, just like President Trump does. Although we can track this acknowledgement of freedom back even earlier to President Kennedy.

‘“There’s a hard version on the right, there’s a small c, conservative kind of militant version of it, but it has also infected many people on the left in this passive sense, like ‘I believe in government,’ but ‘I would never go work there,’ or ‘I believe in government but, you know, I kind of like don’t like my taxes too high, or I use trusts in the Cayman Islands.’”

Your level of confusion, Mr. Giridharadas, is truly impressive!

“Militant?” This could be, or may be, I guess.

“Infected many people on the left?” It seems that you’re confusing some democrats opening their eyes and waking up with them being slightly “infected’” by conservatism.

Okay…, and here comes the perfunctory Trump bashing segment of Giridharadas’ comments.

“Giridharadas said ‘The more recent Trump-era twist is when…you put someone who can barely read a sentence in government, in the figure of Donald Trump, and it becomes true [that] government sucks, because you made it suck by telling everybody it sucks. I think the most important thing that could come out of this is realizing the government is not the biggest threat to our liberty.’”

Oh. No?!

Have you been paying attention to what the FBI and the DOJ attempted to do to President Trump and his associates? I would have to say that our government [at least “the deep state” and “the swamp”] has shown itself to absolutely be “the biggest threat to our liberty.”

‘“It can be a threat to our liberty but we’re threatened by many, many things and what the government fundamentally does is protect us.’”

Theoretically, our government should have our best interests in mind and be protecting us…, but in many cases that is just not the case.

Democrats aim to spread and finance their own disease called liberalism.

Yes, my friends, democrats are aiming to spread and finance their own disease called liberalism on the back of the coronavirus.

Adam Shaw of Fox News reports that, “Former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said during the 2008 financial crisis that lawmakers should ‘never let a crisis go to waste,’ and many Democrat lawmakers appear to be heeding that advice — using the coronavirus pandemic as a jumping-off point to renew calls for a historic expansion of government.”

Which is an expansion of “the deep state” and an expansion of “the swamp.”

“The view that the crisis should be an axis for deep, long-lasting change was on display during negotiations over the $2 trillion stimulus package, in which House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn reportedly said that the package was ‘a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.’”

And what exactly is your “vision” Mr. Clyburn?

May I say I feel you’ve been on that “liberal plantation” way too long, Mr. Clyburn?

“That remark brought criticism from Republicans, when Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., said of Clyburn’s comments: ‘When we see a rising body count, they see a political opportunity. Shame on them.’”

Shame on them indeed.

“But Clyburn’s sentiment was reflected at the time in an ultimately unsuccessful House Democratic stimulus proposal that included environmental regulations on airplanes, diversity demands for the boards of companies receiving bailouts, as well as other wish list items.”

Skeptics of my outlook towards these democrats really need to take a step back, look at what’s going on, and make an honest assessment of their desires and their intentions…, neither of which are good things for America and We The People…, unless you are a recent immigrant from Venezuela and you already miss the socialism there and the government controlling every aspect of your life.

According to Katelyn Burns for Vox.com, “Joe Biden says the pandemic response is an opportunity for structural change.”

“The former vice president highlighted needed changes to the voting system, as well as environmental and economic reforms.”

Ahhh, yes…, we must change our voting system and pretend to help the environment in order to combat the coronavirus!

‘“I think it’s going to, it may not dwarf, but eclipse what [Franklin Delano Roosevelt] faced,’ he said. ‘We have an opportunity, Chris [Cuomo], to do so many things now to change some of the structural things that are wrong, some of the structural things we couldn’t get anyone’s attention on.’”

Oh, you got a lot of peoples’ attention, Creepy Joe…, but only because your “structural change” ideas were so ill-contrived and stupid.

The only “policy shortfalls” this whole pandemic nightmare has exposed is the failed fairy tale that says government run and administered healthcare is a better system and that we can trust the liberals in government “to take care of us.”

Hillary Clinton has said basically the same things as Creepy Joe as of late.

‘“We just have to reject any calls for a return to normal,’ Rep. Pressley said Monday. [That’s Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts] ‘Because that normal is one that was slowly killing people.’”
