“You’re a useful idiot.” Joy Behar speaking to Tulsi Gabbard.

atulsi 8

“Accuse the other side of that which you are guilty.” – Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propaganda Minister.

atulsi 12

I’ll go along with the “idiot” part, regarding Joy Behar, but I wouldn’t say she’s particularly “useful.”

Sam Dorman of Fox News reported that, “Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, got into a testy exchange with “The View” co-host Joy Behar on Wednesday [during a show in October of 2019] as the 2020 candidate confronted Behar over her claim that she was a ‘useful idiot’ for the Russians.”

atulsi 9

This, of course, stemmed from Hillary Clinton’s outrageous claim that Tulsi Gabbard is being “groomed” as an “asset” by the Russians.

atulsi 10

We now know that Gabbard is accusing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of deliberately spreading false accusations that Gabbard is a Russian asset in a lawsuit seeking upwards of $50 million in damages.

Good for you, Tulsi!

Hit her where it hurts most…, in her ill-gotten bank account!

And Joy Behar, of course, didn’t waste any time regurgitating and promoting Hillary’s idiocy.

atulsi 11

She may regret parroting Hillary in the end.  If Tulsi is successful in her suit against Clinton The View and Behar may be next!

Oh, be still my heart!

‘“Some of you have accused me of being a traitor to my country, a Russian asset, a Trojan horse, or a “useful idiot” I think was the term that you used, [which basically means that I am naive or lack intelligence].” Gabbard told Behar.”

‘“Well, useful,’ Behar said. ‘But that’s a Russian term, they use that,’ she added.”

So Joy Behar is implying that her feelings that she is an “idiot” still stand.

Joy Behar is also seemingly implying that she is some sort of an expert regarding the Russians and the Russian language.

Neither of which is true, of course.

She, Joy Behar, is the real idiot here.

atulsi 1

“After Gabbard defended herself, Behar cited compliments of Gabbard that she saw as objectionable.”

‘“Franklin Graham finds you refreshing. He doesn’t find me refreshing. Richard Spencer, the white nationalist leader, says he could vote for you,’ she said.”

Franklin Graham notwithstanding, who on God’s green Earth could ever say they find you, Joy Behar, “refreshing?!”

atulsi 7

“Gabbard laughed and responded: ‘This is why I’m here — because you and other people continue to spread these innuendos that have nothing to do with who I am.’”

“She went on to accuse Behar of doubling down on ‘baseless accusations’ that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton appeared to make about Gabbard. Clinton previously claimed that Gabbard was being ‘groomed’ by the Russians to be a third-party candidate and was an ‘asset’ of the Kremlin.”

We have all come to realize that it was Hillary Clinton who became an “asset of the Kremlin,” regarding policy, favors, and the transfer of U.S. uranium to the Russians.

‘“I’m a soldier — because of the attacks on 9/11,’ Gabbard said. ‘I enlisted in the military to go after and defeat and destroy the evil that visited us on that day. I’ve served now for over 16 years. I deployed twice to the Middle East during the height of the war where every single day I saw firsthand the terribly high human cost. It’s why I ran for Congress.’”

Matt Wilstein of The Daily Beast website says, “The 2020 Democratic candidate [Tulsi Gabbard] lashed out at ‘The View’ host for echoing Hillary Clinton: ‘That is extremely offensive to me and to every woman of color.’”

Wilstein echoes that, “In an attempt to ‘set the record straight,’ Gabbard defended herself as a ‘patriot’ and a ‘strong and intelligent woman of color’ who has ‘dedicated almost my entire adult life to protecting the safety, security and the freedom of all Americans in this country.’”

“Over two segments, Behar and Gabbard went at it over everything from her endorsements from white nationalists to her regular appearances on Fox News. After the show replayed Clinton’s comments, Gabbard said, ‘It’s offensive to me as a soldier, as an American, as a member of Congress, as a veteran, and frankly as a woman, to be so demeaned in such a way.’”

“When Gabbard reiterated her attacks on Hillary Clinton as a ‘warmonger,’ Behar asked, ‘What’s your evidence of that?’ Gabbard shot back, ‘Are you serious?’”

atulsi 6

“Things got even more heated between the two women after a break when Behar suggested that Gabbard might be an ‘unwitting’ asset of Russia, ‘not that that means you’re stupid, but people can be used.’”

‘“That’s exactly what that means though,’ Gabbard replied. ‘Let me start with how offensive it is to say that I’m a witting or unwitting asset of a foreign country, working against the interests of my country, a country that I am willing to lay my life down for. So if you are saying it’s not deliberately, then you are implying that I am too stupid and too naive and lack the intelligence to know what I am doing. And that is extremely offensive to me and to every woman of color.’”

Let me respond by asking, WHO THE HELL DOES JOY BEHAR THINK SHE IS?!

Where does Joy Behar get off questioning Tulsi Gabbard’s patriotism?

Where does Joy Behar get off questioning Tulsi Gabbard’s integrity?

Where does Joy Behar get off questioning Tulsi Gabbard’s intelligence?

How Joy Behar is allowed to sit there and accuse an American hero, like Tulsi Gabbard, of treason, is way, way, way beyond me.

Joy Behar should be ashamed of herself.

ABC should be ashamed of itself.

And Joy Behar should be out of a job and pursuing a different line of work.

Like I said, Behar may regret parroting Hillary in the end, and if Tulsi is successful in her suit against Clinton, The View and Behar may be next!

Let the games, and the lawsuits, begin!

Ohhh…, hello FISA court!  Where ya’ been?

According to Fox News, “FISA court slams FBI over surveillance applications, in rare public order.”

Ohhhh my gosh!  The FISA court “slammed” the FBI soooo hard.

I don’t know if they’ll ever recover!

afisa 11

“In a rare public order Tuesday, the chief judge [Who is the Chief FISA Judge by the way…, and why are these people never identified? I’ll identify these individuals a little later in the article.] of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court [FISA court] strongly criticized the FBI over its surveillance-application process, giving the bureau until Jan. 10 to come up with solutions, in the wake of findings from Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.”

Ohhh…, the FISA Court “strongly criticized” the FBI?

What exactly makes “strong criticism” different from normal criticism?

Do they shake a finger at you while criticizing you?

Do they raise their voices while criticizing you?

Ya…, when I get a speeding ticket or I accidentally blow through a stop sign, that’s what the judge usually asks me…, “What solutions are you going to come up with to make sure this doesn’t happen again?”

afisa 9

“What is the future of the FBI following the revealing IG report on FISA applications?”

afisa 5

What is the future of the FISA Court for that matter?

afisa 7

afisa 8

afisa 6

And why has it taken so long for the FISA Court to address this whole matter of the FBI breaking the law (on numerous occasions) regarding the FISA process?

Especially considering that Congressman Devin Nunes sent two official letters to the FISA COURT, beginning over a year ago, alerting them to these exact circumstances!

afisa 3

It would be my contention that the FISA Court cannot be that blind or that stupid…, which means they must have been a willing part of the deep state’s coup attempt!

And the reason they’ve now, finally, decided to open their mouths is because they were literally forced to, based on the evidence we now have.

afisa 4

So who are these FISA Court pillars of justice?:

Rosemary M. Collyer, District of Columbia /D.C. Presiding Chief Judge: May 19, 2016-Dec. 31, 2019

afisa 2

James E. Boasberg, District of Columbia / D.C. Presiding Chief Judge: effective Jan. 1, 2020

Rudolph Contreras, District of Columbia / D.C.

Anne C. Conway, Middle District of Florida

Louis Guirola, Jr., Southern District of Mississippi

James P. Jones, Western District of Virginia

Robert B. Kugler, District of New Jersey

Michael W. Mosman, District of Oregon

Thomas B. Russell, Western District of Kentucky

George Z. Singal, District of Maine

John J. Tharp, Jr., Northern District of Illinois

Judges Collyer, Boasberg and Contreras, are the ones who I especially would like to hear from.

Perhaps John Durham, the Justice Department’s “investigator of the investigators” will eventually hold these co-conspirators’ feet to the fire.

We’ll see.

Only if there is any justice left in our world.

Comey, Comey, Comey, Comey, Comey Chameleon, You come and go, you come and go-o-o-o.

acomey 2

Ahhhh, Mr. James Comey…, the FORMER FBI director…, the FBI director who was FIRED by President Trump.

acomey 12

It’s funny how a little evidence can totally change your tune, isn’t it Mr. Comey?

This the same James Comey who basically called President Trump a liar.

This is the same James Comey who repeatedly declared that neither he nor any of HIS people at the FBI did ANYTHING wrong regarding their usage of the FISA process or their treatment of President Trump.

Now, according to Business Insider, Comey says, “He [Inspector General Michael Horowitz] was right, I was wrong [regarding defending the FBI’s use of the FISA surveillance process].”

“Former FBI Director James Comey on Sunday said he was wrong to defend the bureau’s [the FBI’s] use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act process when applying for a warrant to surveil Carter Page, a foreign-policy aide on the 2016 Trump campaign.”

Oh…, it’s “the bureau’s use” now?

You were the Director of the FBI at the time Mr. Comey, and YOU signed off on the FISA application!

“His statements marked a reversal from last week, when he said a Justice Department inspector general’s report on the origins of the Russia investigation exonerated the FBI of wrongdoing.”

“In fact, the report revealed that there were 17 ‘significant errors and omissions’ in the FISA applications involving Page.”

That’s all?!

Only SEVENTEEN errors and omissions?!

That sounds like we’re taking ineptness, stupidity and/or disingenuousness to a new level!

Or…, these “omissions and “errors” were intentional.

Which do you think is more likely?

‘“He was right, I was wrong,’ Comey told the Fox News host Chris Wallace, referring to the Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, who wrote the report. ‘I was overconfident, as director, in our procedures.’”

acomey 8

Please allow MrEricksonRules to translate what exactly Mr. Comey is saying here in the language of the liberal, deep state, turds.

What he means is he was overconfident at the time that he could get away with doing whatever he wanted because he was confident that no one would ever be the wiser.

But President Trump messed all of that up by winning the election!

In my estimation, you are a long, long way away from just being “wrong.”

You, Mr. Comey, are a treasonous criminal, whom I am sure will get nowhere near the level of punishment he deserves.

acomey 4

‘“These errors and omissions resulted from case agents providing wrong or incomplete information’ to the Justice Department National Security Division’s Office of Intelligence and ‘failing to flag important issues for discussion,’ the report said.”

And these “errors and omissions” or just “providing wrong or incomplete information” were allowed to be shabbily submitted in an application having to do with a presidential candidate, his campaign, and later a president?

That’s taking professionalism and obeyance of the law to a new low as well.

“Horowitz also found that an FBI employee no longer working at the bureau doctored an email to make it appear as if Page wasn’t a source for another government agency. Had the FISA court been aware of this, it might have been exculpatory for Page [in Page’s favor].”

This is most certainly a crime…, and I don’t care if this person is no longer working at the FBI or not, I DEMAND that charges be leveled against this person and anyone else who was aware of this.

“Testifying before Congress last week, the inspector general didn’t mince words, saying there were ‘significant, serious failures’ on the FBI’s part when applying for the warrant to surveil [Carter] Page.”

“Asked whether his report vindicated Comey, Horowitz replied, ‘It doesn’t vindicate anyone at the FBI who touched this, including the leadership.’”

“Comey on [a recent] Sunday [show] downplayed the role of the so-called Steele dossier in the FBI’s obtaining a FISA warrant to monitor Page. The Steele dossier is an explosive collection of memos alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. The information in it is still largely unverified.”

acomey 5

acomey 11

Not only is it largely “unverified,” it is largely accepted to not be worth the paper it’s printed on.  In fact, less.

“Comey said the dossier was ‘not a huge part of the presentation to the court,’ though he acknowledged that ‘it was the one that convinced the lawyers to move forward.’”

‘“We determined that the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ team’s receipt of Steele’s election reporting on September 19, 2016 played a central and essential role in the FBI’s and the Department’s decision to seek the FISA order,’ the report said. ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ was the FBI’s code name for the Russia investigation.”

acomey 10

“Horowitz found that one portion of the first FISA application alleging possible coordination between Page the Russians on the 2016 campaign ‘relied entirely on’ information from the Steele dossier.”

This is completely the opposite of what Mr. Comey contended.

“Comey on Sunday said he hadn’t misrepresented the relevance of the Steele dossier in the Page FISA application process, but he added that ‘if I was, then I’m sorry that I did that.’”

I have been sorry when I’ve been caught speeding a couple of times, but that didn’t stop me from getting a ticket.

You didn’t “misrepresent” anything Mr. Comey…, you straight out lied.

acomey 3

Shame on you, James Comey.

I really hope you and your treasonous co-conspirators get what’s coming to you.

acomey 13

President Trump’s accomplishments…, America’s best kept secrets!

If you haven’t tuned into FOX for the news from time to time, or watched/listened to a Trump rally…, you may not be aware of any or many of President Trump’s accomplishments for our country.

The “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media” is not prone to give President Trump credit for accomplishing anything, or airing anything that might be construed as positive in nature.

In case you haven’t heard…, President Trump’s list of accomplishments, so far, is long and historic in nature.

Here we go!

aacomms 5

7 million new jobs have been created since President Trump was elected.

An all-time record of more than 158.5 million Americans are employed.

There are 10,000 more factories in America today than on Election Day in 2016.

The unemployment rate for Americans without a high school diploma is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

The unemployment rate for disabled Americans is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

The youth unemployment rate has reached the lowest rate in nearly 50 years.

Hispanic-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

African-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

Asian-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.

Women’s unemployment is at the lowest rate in over 65 years.

Income per household has increased $5,205 since 2017 and is still growing.

Average wages have been on the rise for the first time in over 20 years and are still on the rise.

The U.S. is now the largest producer of oil and natural gas, surpassing Saudi Arabia and Russia. We are a net exporter of energy for the first time since 1957.

Established 8,764 “Opportunity Zones” to promote new jobs in low-income communities.

Poverty rates for African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans have reached new all-time lows.

aacomms 2

In addition to all of these historically accomplishments, the President has:

Donated all of his quarterly salaries to different departments within our government,

Seen all-time highs in the stock markets on his watch,

Lowered personal and corporate tax rates,

Seen over 7 million people come off the food stamp program,

Signed the “Right to Fire” VA bill, which has seen 500 incompetent employees fired, 200 suspended, and 33 demoted,

Signed the VA “Choice” law, which allows veterans access to private medical care if their VA care is unresponsive or inadequate,

Renegotiated unfair trade deals with China, Canada, Mexico, Japan and South Korea,

Rebuilt our military,

Established the creation of the U.S. Space force, a new sixth military branch of the armed forces,

Signed the Criminal Justice reform Bill, which reforms the system by reforming sentencing for a wide range of first-time misdemeanors or by eliminating incarceration time. It also got rid of mandatory minimum sentences for felony drug offenses.

Signed the “Right to Try” law giving critically ill patients access to potentially life-saving cures,

Been the first U.S. President to meet with a leader of North Korea, and the first President to actually step foot in North Korea.

Removed thousands upon thousands of business and progress strangling federal regulations.

And I’m sure there more that I failed to mention.

Perhaps the most underappreciated and under-reported accomplishment is the end of our dependence on Middle Eastern oil.  This is a game changer regarding national security, our economy, and our foreign policy capabilities.

Pretty amazing, isn’t it?

aacomms 6

My point is…, there has been no other president in our nation’s history who can produce a list of accomplishments (in only his first three years no less) that even comes close to that of President Trump.

Promises made…, promises kept…, PLUS!

WINNING!

For “The Deep State,” an apology seems to be a “get out of jail free card!”

Yes…, for “The Deep State,” democrats and liberals in general, a disingenuous apology seems to be a “get out of jail free card!”

adoj 1

At least in their eyes, the eyes of their “Deep State” comrades, and the eyes of their propagandistic fake news media conspirators.

An apology, of course, is only begrudgingly performed when the evidence against the “swamp rat” in question is SO overwhelming that the preferred strategy of lying, denying and pleading ignorance cannot be employed.

Republicans, conservatives, and all the rest of the law-abiding peons, however, are expected to operate under the laws as they were written, and receive punishment accordingly.

adoj 2

Case in point…, an article by Ronn Blitzer of Fox News, titled, “DOJ recommends maximum sentence for former GOP Representative.”

You will NEVER see or hear the words “DOJ recommends maximum sentence” before any liberal bureaucrat’s name or any liberal politician’s name.

In this case, ‘“The Government believes that a sentence at the top end of the Guidelines range is necessary in order to satisfy the objectives of Title 18 United States Code, Section 3553(a), and in particular to promote respect for the law, to provide just punishment for the offense, and to achieve general deterrence,’ prosecutors with the Southern District of New York said in a letter to U.S. District Court Judge Vernon S. Broderick.”

So in other words, they’re saying that there are cases where you don’t need to “promote respect for the law,” “provide just punishment,” and “achieve general deterrence?”

It seems like that’s what they’re saying.

adoj 8

And in fact, we’ve seen many cases where our “justice” system IS NOT promoting respect for the law, IS NOT providing just punishment, and IS NOT achieving general deterrence…, especially where liberal bureaucrats and liberal politicians are concerned.

Do the names Lois Lerner, Loretta Lynch, Hillary Clinton, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Rod Rosenstein, James Clapper, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe, and James Comey ring a bell?

adoj 7

adoj 9

adoj 6

Another such case is the case of Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards, a former top Treasury Department official.

When someone is using three last names, that’s a good tip-off that we are dealing with someone who is extra pathetically liberal.

adoj 5

According to Gregg Re of Fox News, “A former top Treasury Department official pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy for leaking confidential banking reports associated with members of the Trump campaign, following her dramatic arrest in October 2018 as she toted a flash drive full of sensitive documents.”

“Natalie Edwards, 41, entered the plea in Manhattan federal court, where U.S. District Judge Gregory H. Woods set sentencing for June 9. Although the conspiracy charge carried a potential penalty of up to five years in prison, Edwards signed a plea deal with prosecutors that recommended a potential prison sentence of zero to six months.”

A plea deal you say?

What exactly is she pleaing?

She doesn’t seem to have much leverage here.

She must be pleaing that her special liberal privilege be recognized.

“Edwards was a senior adviser at Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, also known as FinCEN. Prosecutors said her crime began in October 2017 and continued for a year, with Edwards sending a BuzzFeed News reporter numerous Suspicious Activity Reports (“SARs”).

Oh…, she was a senior adviser at Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network!

Beautiful!

She should be held to an even higher standard here then.

“As law enforcement swooped in, she was carrying a government-issued USB flash drive containing not only thousands of SARs, but also ‘highly sensitive material relating to Russia, Iran, and the terrorist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant,’ prosecutors said.”

Am I just stupid or does this seem like a pretty serious crime?

‘“I am sorry for what I have done and I apologize to you, your honor, and the court,’ Edwards said.”

THERE IT IS!

She played her “get out of jail free card” apology!

Also notice she’s apologizing to the judge and the court and not to the victims of her crime, her department, or the American people.

“Her arrest came on the heels of other high-profile, leak-related prosecutions under the Trump administration, which had pledged to go on the offensive against leakers whom the president has called ‘traitors and cowards.’”

Exactly, Mr. President.  I would classify her as a coward and a traitor as well.

Traitors should not receive bogus plea deals.

In another case, we have the F.B.I. (Director, Christopher Wray) apologizing to the Court for “botching surveillance of a Trump adviser,” and “pledging to fix their [the F.B.I.’s] procedures.”

According to Charlie Savage of The New York Times, “The F.B.I. acknowledged serious errors and omissions in the facts it put forward for wiretap applications targeting a former Trump campaign adviser.”

“[The] F.B.I. told a secretive court on Friday that it was increasing training and oversight for officials who work on national security wiretap applications in response to problems uncovered by a scathing inspector general report last month about botched surveillance targeting a former Trump campaign adviser.”

“A secretive court?”

What exactly is a “secretive court?”

I’m guessing “secretive” means “rigged” in this instance.

‘“The F.B.I. has the utmost respect for this court and deeply regrets the errors and omission identified by’ the inspector general, wrote the F.B.I. director, Christopher A. Wray, in a statement included with the filing. He called the conduct described by the report “unacceptable and unrepresentative of the F.B.I. as an institution.’”

Senate FBI Director

I’m sure you are very appreciative of this liberal leaning court, rigged in your favor, Mr. Wray…, and Oh…, THERE IT IS…, he played their “get out of jail free card” apology!

Excuse me Mr. Wray…, but you are so full of sh#t I can smell you a million miles away.

Believe me my friends…, these “Deep Staters” have no respect for their employer, the American people, and they think we are all idiots who will continue to keep falling for this crap.

Well…, it’s a new day Mr. Wray.

Our eyes are wide open now, and we recognize you people for what you are…, enemies of our country, and enemies of “We The People.”

“Under FISA — a law for surveillance aimed at monitoring suspected spies and terrorists, as opposed to ordinary criminals — the government must convince a judge that an American is probably an agent of a foreign power. Because the FISA court hears only from the government, and what it says is never shown to defense lawyers, the Justice Department says it has a duty to be candid and tell judges every relevant fact in its possession.”

Oh, sure, why wouldn’t we believe that would happen?!

“But the Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, uncovered that the F.B.I. had cherry-picked and misstated evidence about the Trump adviser, Carter Page, when seeking permission to wiretap him in October 2016 and in 2017 renewal applications.”

In all there were 17 “serious errors and omissions in the facts” regarding the FISA warrant applications.

17!!!

That, Mr. Wray, raises the bar here from extreme incompetence to a treasonous disregard and manipulation of the law.

We are all painfully aware of our two-tiered justice system…, us being on the lower tier.

Apologies are not going to suffice here.

Our last hope of seeing any justice served, at least for a while, is U.S. Attorney John Durham and his investigation into all of this FISA stuff.

His report should be submitted to Attorney General Barr before this summer.., hopefully along with his recommendation of criminal charges for more than a few of these treasonous individuals.

I’ll be very disappointed if we just continue to see more of the same…, more apologies and more “get out of jail free cards.”

I’ll keep you posted.

What you talkin’ ‘bout Sleepy Joe?!

What you talkin’ ‘bout Mr. Excitement?!

What you talkin’ ‘bout Creepy Joe?!

What you talkin’ ‘bout #2 (Obama’s #2)?!

What you talkin’ ‘bout Quid Pro Quo Joe?!

Speaking to overflow “crowds” of 10 to 20 people, Joe Biden has continued to call President Trump’s Iran policy into question.

abiden 1

As if Joe Biden has a clue regarding any matter of foreign policy!

It’s a well-known fact in Washington that Joe Biden hasn’t shown ANY ability to properly understand and/or strategically react to any foreign policy situation over that last 40 years in an advantageous manner!

I’m sure Creepy Joe would prefer we fly a plane load of cash over to Tehran…, beg for their forgiveness, and hope for the best.

Oh wait…, Quid Pro Quo Joe and his “friend” Barack already tried that!

And as for Crazy Bernie, Lizzie the bag lady, and Pistol Pete…, I’m sure the Ayatollah and his friends have been having a good laugh at their expense.  They’ve also been praying to Allah that Americans are stupid enough to elect one of these “special” people!

However President Trump chooses to react to Iran’s latest missile attack, I’m sure his course of action will project American strength and resolve, and not American weakness and fear.

“Tell ‘em what they’ve won Johnny!”

“All of the homeless people in Oakland, California have won an all-expenses paid cruise ship adventure, Pat!”

Well…, not exactly all of the homeless population of Oakland.

According to Travis Fedschun of Fox News, “The City of Oakland considers obtaining a cruise ship to house the homeless!”

“This is not exactly ‘The Love Boat,’ but it could help make a dent in one California city’s homeless crisis.”

acruise 1

Unless you’re over 40 years old, you may not get the reference to “The Love Boat.”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with “The Love Boat,” “The Love Boat” was a TV series set on a luxury passenger cruise ship called the Pacific Princess.  The show aired on ABC from 1977 to 1987.  The series revolved around the ship’s captain, Captain Stubing (played by Gavin MacLeod), and a handful of its crew: Julie, Doc, Gopher and Isaac, along with several passengers, played by various guest star actors each episode, having romantic and humorous adventures.

The Love Boat - 1977-1986

Anyway…

“During a city council meeting on Tuesday, Oakland City Council President Rebecca Kaplan broached the idea of using a cruise ship to house up to 1,000 homeless people, suggesting a ship be brought to the Port of Oakland as the region deals with skyrocketing costs of living and a shortage of affordable housing.”

acruise 2

Have these liberals in California all lost their minds?

Seriously…, I’m seriously asking.

Their “solutions” just seem to be getting dumber and dumber.

acruise 15

I’ve heard they have excellent buffets on cruise ships, but our drug addicted friends may find it hard to find a fix if they’re confined to the ship.

And there would be a lot for them to do on the ship, but it seems all these homeless people do is lay around and sleep all day.

acruise 16

I don’t think we’d see a lot of them in the pool or on the water slide, but I could be wrong.

‘“It could be a great way to house a lot of people quickly,’ Kaplan told the San Francisco Chronicle. ‘Cruise ships have been used for emergency housing after natural disasters and for extra housing for things like Olympics.’”

“Homelessness has spiked in Oakland, with a 47 percent jump in two years — one of the largest surges of any California city, according to a one-night street count released in July.”

acruise 6

“The count, which used federal guidelines, showed Oakland had 4,017 homeless people, up from 2,761 in 2017. The increase has put the city’s per capita homeless rate higher than neighboring San Francisco and Berkeley.”

acruise 9

“Kaplan told the Chronicle she plans to present a proposal to the council in January that will be at “no or low” cost to the city, because residents of the cruise ship would pay for rooms based on their income. The city would not buy the cruise ship.”

I would like to go on record with my prediction that if this idea does come to fruition, it will NOT be at little or no cost to the city.

“The council president added that she has been contacted by cruise ship companies about providing a ship for emergency housing and that the companies – which were not named – were reaching out to the Port of Oakland about mooring options at the port.”

“The idea for a cruise ship in Oakland would be similar to the Queen Mary in Long Beach in Southern California.”

“The 1936 ocean liner is now a floating hotel with 347 rooms, where a room with two twin beds goes for $141 a night and $146 a night for a full-size bed.”

‘“It could be like that,’ Kaplan told the paper. ‘But as affordable housing instead of hotel.’”

Ha!

Something just doesn’t seem right here.

Why in the world would cruise ship companies be contacting the Oakland City Council, offering to let the city use their ships for housing homeless people?

Would anyone like to take a guess as to how long it would be before the ship was completely trashed and deemed worthless?

One month?

Two months?

Three months?

I’m sure these cruise ship companies have an interest in doing something along the lines of the Queen Mary in Long Beach, with a hotel type of situation; not as some sort of floating homeless repository!

There are also many port related issues and regulatory issues standing in the way of this happening as well.

It’s obvious that the liberal politicians are confused and haven’t done their homework…, like usual, regarding this brilliant idea.

“Cruise ships have been used as emergency housing before. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Federal Emergency Management Agency chartered three luxury cruise liners to provide housing for up to 8,000 people that were left homeless after the storm. That $236 million contract was later scrutinized in a study released in 2006 by House Democrats, which said it proved ‘wasteful for the federal taxpayer’ because it ended up costing $50,000 to house a single person for six months, more than $300 per person for each night’s lodging.”

Remember the words, “at no or low cost to the city?”

The logical progression of this line of thinking would be to eventually buy an island and dump the homeless people off there for a permanent vacation!

Out of sight out of mind!

These liberals are really something, aren’t they?

That being said, I would like to offer my services and submit for your consideration, my proposal to deal with this homeless crisis.

Typically, communities are spending an adequate amount of money to address their homeless problem…, they’re just not spending their money appropriately or wisely.

There are many different reason for being “homeless.”

First, we need to divide the homeless into areas of situation and areas of need.

Families are treated differently, and routed to a family specific center.  Families would have all of the same considerations that individuals do plus the additional considerations for any children, regarding family continuity, safety considerations and school requirements.

acruise 12

acruise 11

If we’re dealing with an individual, we need to determine what exactly their situation is and route them at an appropriate assistance center.

Each of the following determinations would have its own specific assistance center.

We start and the top of this list and work our way down.  A person may fit into multiple stops on this list before finally not being “homeless” anymore.

Our overall goal is to not have anyone living on the streets, and to make sure everyone is being properly treated for whatever may be ailing them.

Is the person physically ill?

Is the person mentally ill?

Is the person addicted to drugs?

Does the person have an alcohol addiction?

Is this person disabled, receiving assistance, but needs shelter?

Does this person need shelter and help getting assistance?

acruise 10

Does this person need shelter and help getting employment?

Is this person a victim of circumstances not covered above?

Once the proper determination has been made, the individual would either receive the required medical treatment, be treated for their respective mental illness, treated for their addiction, and/or assisted with their administrative processes.

acruise 13

Our homeless population doesn’t need “band aid” or “feel good” solutions.

Our homeless need real solutions, and so do we.

People don’t mind paying for things that make sense, are effective, and that are run efficiently.

If I ever come across a government program like this I’ll let you know.

Until then, we can always hope.

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

As usual, the democrats just don’t get it, or they refuse to acknowledge reality.

adems 7

As reported in the annual Annenberg survey, only 32% of Americans can name our three branches of government and 33% can’t name any of the branches of our government!

adems 1

With that in mind, I realize I’m going a little out on a limb here discussing British politics…, but I believe MrEricksonRules’ readers are well informed and interested in how the recent British elections may relate to the upcoming U.S. election in 2020.

According to Adam Shaw, Paul Steinhauser and Kelly Phares of Fox News, “Left-wing Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn saw his party mauled in Britain’s general election Thursday as its strongholds across the country fell to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party — a dramatic result that commentators on both sides of the pond are seeing as a warning to socialist-leaning Democrats ahead of the U.S. presidential election.”

adems 9

“And for those who have openly cautioned about the party’s drift to the left, the U.K. results were treated as nothing short of a wake-up call. A sign, for some, that even a populist incumbent as irreverent and contentious as Johnson could ride to victory when the alternative is an equally controversial leftist vowing massive government expansion.”

Or perhaps an irreverent populist is just what the British people are looking for!

The liberals would never admit that, however.  This was obviously just some sort of mistake or a strategical miscalculation.

‘“Maybe this is the canary in the coal mine,’ Democratic presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg, who has tried to sell himself as a more electable alternative to candidates like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders since entering the race last month, told reporters Friday.”

adems 6

And therein lies the problem with the democrats…, they’re always trying to “sell themselves” as something they’re not rather than just being honest about what they stand for.

Anyway…, nice analogy Mr. Bloomberg!

Only you think the canary dying symbolizes some sort of a warning for liberals, while I think it is symbolizing the death of the Democrat Party!

‘“The public clearly wanted a change in the U.K. The change was much more rapid and [had] greater magnitude than anyone had predicted. And I think it’s sort of a catastrophic warning to the Democratic Party that you’re just going to have to have somebody that can beat Donald Trump, and that is not going to be easy.”

adems 2

The problem here is, “Bloomy,” otherwise known as “Mr. Excitement…,” the majority of the people have to want a change for some reason, and President Trump hasn’t given them one. In fact, he has acquired supporters who feel he has, and is, doing a good job.

President Trump has proven he’s not your typical politician.

He has kept all of his campaign promises, and has accumulated quite a list of accomplishments along the way regarding the economy, energy, VA policies, positive minority policies, trade imbalances and foreign policy, just to name a few.

“Americans want change, but I think they don’t want revolutionary change,” the centrist billionaire said. “They want evolutionary change.”

What does that mean?

Please…, don’t even pretend to know what most Americans want, “Bloomy.”

adems 3

“[Boris] Johnson’s Tories won 365 seats in Parliament’s lower chamber, with Labour picking up just 203. It hands the Conservatives their biggest majority since the days of Margaret Thatcher and marks the worst showing for Labour since the 1930s. The left-wing party was left shell-shocked after a night that saw once-safe seats in working-class areas turn Tory, with enormous swings that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.”

Ha!  Ya…, we know what “shell-shocked liberals look like!

adems 10

“Seats in places such as Bolsover, Workington, Blyth Valley, Burnley, Wrexham and Stoke-on-Trent toppled one after another, each one yet another nail in the coffin of Labour’s hopes of ushering in a socialist government and preventing Britain’s departure from the European Union. It represented what many commentators are seeing as a realignment in British politics, as the Conservatives ripped up the electoral map and made gains in the North East, the North West and Wales in particular.”

This is comparable to President Trump winning the “rust belt” manufacturing states, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in the 2016 presidential election.

adems 11

“Corbyn announced that he would eventually step down, promising not to lead the party in another general election, but saying that would come after a ‘period of reflection.’ He quickly tried to set the narrative that it was questions over Brexit, not his brand of hard-left policies that had ‘ultimately doomed the party.’”

Like I said…, these liberals just don’t get it.

There won’t be any “period of reflection…,” only a period of “restrategization.”

‘“All those policies were extremely popular during the election campaign and remain policies that have huge popular support all across this country,’ he said. ‘However Brexit has so polarized and divided debate in this country it has overriden so much of a normal political debate and I recognize that has contributed to the results the Labour Party has received all across this country.’”

Please stop trying to kid yourself and the British people.  I mean, we can all see exactly how “extremely popular” your policies were across your country.

Wa, wa, wa, waaaaaa.

“But while many of the seats that fell represent ‘pro-Leave’ [pro-Brexit] areas, polls suggested that it was Corbyn — and his extreme brand of left-wing politics — that was a more significant factor for Brits. Corbyn had taken over the party leadership in 2015 and dragged it to the left in a rejection of the kind of centrism embodied by three-term Prime Minister Tony Blair.”

Like I said…, these liberals just don’t get it, and they are refusing to allow the will of the people to affect their narrative.

“It’s a lesson that many in the U.K. and the U.S. are saying should be a warning for Democrats who may think that victory lies with an uncompromising agenda featuring government health care, immigration enforcement rollbacks and more. Democrats like Sens. Sanders, I-Vt., and Warren, D-Mass., have promoted far-reaching policies such as ‘Medicare-for-all’ and a halt to deportations of illegal immigrants — leading some to fear they may be out of step with the country.”

They’re only “out of step” with those of us who want to see America succeed.

They’re only “out of step” with those of us who work, or have worked, for a living.

And they’re only “out of step” with those of us who are informed and use our common sense.

adems 12

‘“One lesson from the UK: if the Democrats don’t stop their hard-left slide, they’ll suffer the same fate as Labour,’ commentator Andrew Sullivan tweeted. ‘If they don’t move off their support for mass immigration, they’re toast. Ditto the “wokeness.” Left [leaning] Twitter is not reality.’”

No worries there!

Toast it is!

“Former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan warned also about the Twitter bubble, and that Democrats should be careful about picking someone too far on the fringes.”

‘“Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren both share Jeremy Corbyn’s socialist agenda and both appear to be as popular as him on Twitter,’ Morgan said in an op-ed. ‘But Twitter’s not the real world.’”

“He also drew comparisons between the British Left’s effort to thwart Brexit and the Democratic push to impeach Trump, rather than beat him at the ballot box.”

‘“Those who voted for Brexit and Trump don’t take kindly to their democratic vote being abused in this way and their retribution comes at the ballot box,’ he said. ‘If people think Boris Johnson’s earthquake was big, just wait until the Senate acquits President Trump and he uses that victory to storm to re-election.’”

Amen!

adems 10

“But if there is that kind of warning for Americans, it may be a message that meets significant resistance from activists hoping for their own version of a Corbynite revolution, and who may not be put off by the warning signs in Thursday’s vote.”

In other words…, the anti-American liberals, “the swamp,” RINOs (Mitt Romney for example), and the generally clueless.

adems 5

“MSNBC host Chris Hayes pointed out that Corbyn is running in a way that many Democrats would like to see.”

Again…, like I said…, these liberals just don’t get it, and they are refusing to allow the will of the people to affect their narrative.

‘“One thing you can’t say about the Corbyn campaign was that he was “Tory lite” [conservative lite] or too neoliberal or too establishment. He ran unabashedly from the left in a way many leftists want Democrats to run here in the U.S.,’ he tweeted. But after some criticism he deleted it, saying it was a ‘bad take.’”

And that was his problem!

Here we had a liberal that didn’t pretend to be something he wasn’t.

And that’s exactly why he and his party got whooped so bad!

“But the message of the U.K. election had also resonated in the White House. On Friday, [President] Trump suggested that just as the 2016 Brexit referendum foreshadowed his own presidential win a few months later, the 2019 U.K. election forecasts a win for him in 2020.”

‘“I want to congratulate Boris Johnson on a terrific victory. I think that might be a harbinger of what’s to come in our country,’ he said. ‘It was last time.’”

It might very well be a “harbinger of what’s to come in our country,” Mr. President.

adems 13

And if that were the case, that would mean a landslide victory you.

But what would a “landslide” victory look like for you?

First of all, a landslide victory for you would include your personal victory as well as maintaining control of the senate and regaining control of the House of Representatives.

Second, we would see you capturing a considerable majority of electoral votes.

What do I mean by a “considerable majority of electoral votes?”

Well, there are 538 total electoral votes that can be won.

The winner is the first candidate to win 270 of those votes.

The democrat in the race is virtually guaranteed to win 151 votes because of the liberal dominance in states like California, New York, Illinois, Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia.

That means a landslide victory for President Trump would be in the range of 340-350 electoral votes.  He won 304 electoral votes in 2016.

Lastly, President Trump would come very close to, if not winning the popular vote outright.

It is my belief that President Trump WILL win re-election in a “landslide” victory in 2020.

WINNING!

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

Is the recent election in the UK a sign of things to come for the 2020 US election?

I believe the answer to that would be a resounding YES!

The democrat/liberal leadership in America realizes this as well.

The democrat/liberal leadership in America may be evil, but they’re not stupid.  That’s why they’re in a perpetual impeachment mode.  It’s their only option to stop President Trump and conservatism at this point…, even if they’re failing miserably at the attempt.

aelectuk 2

According to Adam Shaw of FOX News, “U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party was swept back into government Friday after an historic election night that saw opposition Labour Party strongholds across the country swing dramatically to the Tories — making Britain’s departure from the European Union a near-certainty, and immediately bringing a promise of a new trade deal from President Trump.

Note: “The Labour Party” in the UK is the equivalent to the Democrat Party in the US, and the “Tories” in the UK would equate to the Republicans in the US.

‘“Congratulations to Boris Johnson on his great WIN! Britain and the United States will now be free to strike a massive new Trade Deal after BREXIT,’ [President] Trump tweeted. ‘This deal has the potential to be far bigger and more lucrative than any deal that could be made with the E.U. Celebrate Boris!’”

“The Tories won 364 seats in the country’s 650-seat lower chamber, while Labour picked up just 203 — which would give the Tories a majority of 78. It marked a significant victory for the Tories, and a historic drubbing for the Labour Party of a kind they haven’t seen since 1930.

“A HISTORIC DRUBBING FOR THE LABOUR PARTY OF A KIND THEY HAVEN’T SEEN SINCE 1930!

1930!

That’s in the last 89 years!

That’s a loooong time and a lot of elections.

This is truly a “historic” and a very significant “drubbing.”

Of course, The Labour Party is calling the election victory “utterly devastating for the UK.”

A note to The Labour Party…, the people of the UK electing who they want to represent them in their country’s government is not “devastating” for the country.

It’s definitely devastating for The Labour Party, but not the UK.

Fair and free elections are the heart of a democracy.

One of the problems they, and we, have is that many of our elected officials need to be reminded they work for us and not the other way around.

The Labour Party in the UK, just like the Democrats in the US, tend to confuse what is best for their countries versus their warped and corrupt political goals.

The liberal media in the UK, much like the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media” in the US, failed to report that this was coming, and will, of course, downplay this historic event and/or spin it to fit their liberal narrative.

In other words, they’re going to choose to “double down” on their lies and misinformation for the sake of their political and social desires…, again.

The only problem with their plan is that this strategy obviously is not working, as the British electorate jus historically demonstrated.

“The night saw traditional Labour areas such as Burnley, Redcar, Stoke-on-Trent and Wrexham — with some seats that have been held by the party for decades — fall like dominos to the Conservatives. Many of those seats, often in working class areas, had voted in favor of Britain’s departure from the European Union in 2016, and had soured at the Labour Party’s anti-Brexit stance.”

The British people voted for Brexit in 2016, but The Labour Party felt it knew better than the people and fought to block Britain’s exit the last three years.

Well…, I guess the British people didn’t like being told what was best for them and responded in this election in an historic and overwhelming fashion.

I have a feeling the American people will have a similar message for the Democrats in 2020, regarding their unprecedented and continuous attacks on our duly elected president, President Donald Trump.

“As the results came in, Johnson declared that his party had been given ‘a powerful new mandate.’ In the morning, he promised to secure Brexit, as well as his agenda on everything from the health service to the economy to immigration.”

‘“And I repeat that in winning this election we have won votes and the trust of people who have never voted Conservative before and people have always voted for other parties. Those people want change. We cannot, must not, must not, let them down,’ he said.”

“[Jeremy] Corbyn, who had been on the fringe of the [Labour] party for decades, won the leadership in 2015 and had rejected the more centrist shift the party had taken under former Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.”

Hmmmm.  Does that scenario sound familiar?

“The election will result in a Conservative Party dominance in the U.K. not seen since the days of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher — who won 397 seats in the 1983 general election.”

Vandana Rambaran of Fox News reports that, “In the U.S., liberal lawmakers had urged U.K. residents to vote against Johnson, who is a friend and ally to President Trump.”

aelectuk 1

That “urging” sure seemed to have a positive effect!

“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., posted an anti-Johnson video on Twitter insisting that conservative economic policies are hurting Britain’s working class.”

aelectuk6

Believe me when I say that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t the foggiest notion of what the “working class” is, much less what would hurt them.

‘“This video is about the UK, but it might as well have been produced in the United States,’ Ocasio-Cortez wrote, touting her support for Corbyn, who has been accused of being an anti-Semite.”

A clueless liberal and an anti-Semite?  No wonder he has AOC’s support!

‘“The hoarding of wealth by the few is coming at the cost of peoples’ lives,’ she [AOC] said. ‘The only way we change is with a massive surge of *new* voters at the polls. UK, Vote!’”

“Costing peoples’ lives?”

Oh, you’re so dramatic Alexandria!

aelectuk 3

I would like to make one small correction, however, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez.  You don’t just need a “surge of new voters” to help the liberal cause…, you need a surge of new misinformed and properly indoctrinated liberal voters.

aelectuk 7

aelectuk 8

aelectuk 5

“Jess Phillips, a Labour Party candidate for Birmingham Yardley, expressed her devastation at her party’s defeat.”

‘“It feels like a punch in the stomach, she said.”

aelectuk 4

Awwwww, that’s too bad.

Would you like a kick in the a$$ to go along with that punch in the stomach?!

WINNING!
