Everybody was “Kung Flu” fighting!

According to Alexander Nazaryan of Yahoo News, “In a press conference on Wednesday morning, President Trump defended his efforts to brand the coronavirus epidemic as a specifically Chinese disease. Although it did originate there, Trump’s critics have said blaming China for the outbreak is xenophobic and racist.”

Hmmm…, that’s odd…, President Trump’s critics calling him xenophobic and racist!

Couldn’t we have just assumed that?

Just sayin’.

achinav 7

‘“Why do you keep calling this the Chinese virus?’” ABC reporter Cecilia Vega asked The President, “during a briefing with the White House coronavirus task force.”

“The reporter noted that there has been a rise of racist incidents, some of them violent, against people of Asian origin across the United States.”

Oh, really, Ms. Vega?

I haven’t heard about any of these “racist incidents… against people of Asian origin across the United States.”

Especially due to The President referring to COVID-19 as “the Chinese virus.”

How exactly are you able to make that connection, Ms. Vega?

Is this one of those liberal propaganda scenarios like the video that supposedly caused the Benghazi attack?

Perhaps you’d be willing to share more details and facts about these “incidents” you refer to?

I’m sure you heard about the “incidents” through unnamed sources who heard about the “incidents” second or third hand.

If there were actual racial “incidents,” I’m sure your network and organization (ABC) would be more than excited to shine their light on them.

I won’t be holding my breath waiting for these stories to surface, however.

achinav 6

‘“It’s not racist at all,’ [President] Trump said in defending his and his allies’ use of terms like ‘the Chinese virus’ and ‘the Wuhan virus,’ a reference to the city where it originated. ‘It comes from China, that’s why,’ the president continued. ‘It comes from China. I want to be accurate.’”

achinav 2

achinav 3

achinav 4

“Beijing has also promoted conspiracy theories that include blaming members of the U.S. military for causing the pandemic, something that clearly displeases [President] Trump. ‘That can’t happen,’ he said of that allegation. ‘It’s not going to happen. Not as long as I am president.’”

The White House later accused the media of “fake outrage” after the press conference:

“Spanish Flu. West Nile Virus. Zika. Ebola. All named for places.

Before the media’s fake outrage, even CNN called it the ‘Chinese Coronavirus.’

Those trying to divide us must stop rooting for America to fail and give Americans real info they need to get through the crisis.  — The White House (@WhiteHouse) March 18, 2020”

That’s right…, in the past we have had the Spanish flu, the West Nile Virus, the Asian flu, and the Hong Kong flu.

Nobody was crying about any racism or xenophobia in those cases.

Perhaps you should do a little research about a subject before you go shooting your mouth off about it, Ms. Vega?

Isn’t that a novel idea?

I don’t know what’s worse…, your journalistic deficiencies or having to listen to your condescending tone…, albeit fraudulent and stupidly elitist in nature.

achinav 1

BAM!

Take that Cecelia Vega!

David Knowles of Yahoo News reports, “The virus appears to have originated at Huanan live-animal market in Wuhan [China]. Of the first 41 people infected with the virus, 27 had gone to the market, which sells and kills animals, some of them wild, for consumption, Vox reported. In 2002, officials traced the outbreak of the SARS virus to a market in southern China that also sold live, wild animals for food.”

achinav 8

achinav 9

achinav 10

“China’s so-called ‘wet markets’ arose in the 1970s, when famine killed millions there. In 1978, China’s Communist government allowed private farming, and a decade later it legalized the private industry of raising and selling wildlife.”

“The unsanitary conditions of these markets and storage of animals in crates on top of one another has been blamed for the transmission of viruses between species. In the initial stages of the SARS outbreak, Chinese officials withheld information on the number of people infected and later conceded it was ‘not well prepared’ for the epidemic.”

Nice.

I believe, like President Trump, that China fully deserves to take the credit, again, for this latest virus…, “The Chinese Virus,” or “The Wuhan Virus,” and that there’s nothing xenophobic or racist about it.

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

Thanks CNN!  Thanks MSNBC!  Thanks Fake news!

Yes…, thanks CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR and all the rest of the liberal propaganda media.

acnncon 10

And let’s not forget about the democrats.

acnncon 8

Thank you for all of your misinformation and disingenuous hyping of the whole coronavirus situation.

acnncon 1

The world and the United States has faced many infectious diseases before, and we face the common flu every year, but we have never seen this level of outright hysteria demonstrated before.

“The annual flu” routinely kills hundreds and hundreds of times the people that the coronavirus has, and will, kill, and we already have a vaccine for it as well!

Where has the hysteria been about that?

Where have the quarantines been about that?

Where have the school and business closings been about that?

Why are tens of thousands of deaths acceptable every year from one virus, but these thousands of deaths are not from another virus?

acnncon 3

Thanks to the fake news’ eagerness to hang any bit of bad news on President Trump, they have now established a precedent that is going to make everyone’s life a living hell every year or every other year at least.

acnncon 2

acnncon 4

The threat of getting sick is now going to be dictating how we live our lives.

How are all of the politicians going to have to respond in the future to any disease floating around out there?

Are we going to have case counts and death counts for the flu every year now as well?

I hope not…, because those numbers would really be scary…, not like these wimpy coronavirus numbers.

Is it ever going to be “safe” again to gather together in large numbers?

Has the era of going to the movies, concerts, and sporting events come to an end?

Are we doomed to watch everything from remotely from the safety of our homes now?

Think about it.

I’m afraid the world has let the fake news media talk it into believing that our governments can, and should, protect us from anything and everything, including diseases and acts of nature.

Our lives are NEVER going to be the same now.

Yes…, thanks CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR and all the rest of the liberal propaganda media.

acnncon 6

acnncon 7

And let’s not forget about the democrats.

acnncon 9

Your desire to control us has lowered our quality of life…, forever, which I know you’re not really concerned about, but your actions have ended up lowering the quality of your own lives as well.  This, I know, had not been considered before you (the fake news media and the democrats) decided to go down this path.

acnncon 5

Thanks fake news media.

Thanks democrats.

I hope you’re will to accept the credit for this, which you have definitely earned.

OK…, I’m officially ashamed to classify myself as a human being.

Yes folks, this story officially “takes the cake.”

We can now safely say that human idiocy, apparently, knows no bounds.

According to Alexandra Deabler of Fox News, “A woman has been slammed on social media for an alleged ‘coronavirus challenge’ video that has since gone viral.”

alick 3

“In the video, which was originally shared to TikTok [TikTok is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service and is used to create short lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos.], the 22-year-old aspiring influencer [An “influencer” is a person with the apparent ability to influence potential buyers of a product or service by promoting or recommending the items on social media.] from Miami is seen licking a toilet seat, allegedly while in an airplane bathroom.”

alick 2

SHE IS SEEN LICKING A TOILET SEAT IN AN AIRPLANE BATHROOM!

alick 8

alick 9

alick 10

NAAAAAAAAAAASTY!

If this girl was an aspiring influencer, I think she just blew it.

I mean…, would you be stupid enough to be influenced by someone gross enough to lick an airplane toilet seat and think that was a good idea?

“Ava Louise has recently gone viral for a bizarre stunt that is getting widely criticized during the global coronavirus pandemic, which is responsible for 68 deaths and at least 3,700 positive cases in the U.S. alone.”

‘“Please [retweet] this so people can know how to properly be sanitary on the airplane,’ she captioned the 6-second clip.”

Brilliant, Ava…, just brilliant.

alick 4

I’m sure your parents are proud.

“Despite Louise labeling the stunt the ‘coronavirus challenge,’ it does not appear to be an actual social media challenge others are participating in at this time.”

We can only hope.

We can only hope.

Is our response to the coronavirus unrealistic?

I see that this event is getting cancelled, and that school is closing down, and these games are being suspended, and any plans that involve interactions with people are being changed.

We’re wearing masks, washing our hands 20 times a day, and consuming hand sanitizer like never before.

Is it all really necessary?

Are these new “health” practices going to end up being more harmful than helpful?

I mean, the regular old annual flu is way more dangerous than the coronavirus is.

acorona3 1

Are we setting a precedent now where we’re going to implement all of these travel bans and event cancellations and school closures every new flu season?

acorona3 4

acorona3 5

acorona3 6

How can we not now?

How can we pretend one is more dangerous than the other?

How can we put all of these restrictions in place to avoid one virus but not another?

Does that make any sense?

Why have we been willing to just go about our normal everyday lives with the flu virus lurking out there, behind every cough, every sneeze, every handshake, and all of our everyday interactions?

Why is risking getting the flu any less risky than getting the coronavirus?

acorona3 2

Why were we one day completely okay with the potential of catching the flu and the next day completely freaking out over the possibility of catching something that’s not even as bad?

Oh…, and just a reminder…, during the 2018-2019 flu season [November thru April, or about six months], 647,000 people were hospitalized and 61,200 died.”

And that’s only in the U.S.

The seasonal flu kills between 291,000 and 646,000 people worldwide each year, according to estimates.

Again…, it doesn’t make any sense.

Worldwide 4,756 people have died due to the coronavirus as of today.

But making sense is not the strong suit of the democrats or their co-conspirators, the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

It is not a requirement either.

acorona3 7

In fact, a situation like this is a perfect one for the democrats and their co-conspirators, the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

Why?

Because it’s a situation that The President can’t win.

Have we been able to eliminate the flu?

No.

Will we be able to eliminate the coronavirus?

Probably not.

And certainly not anytime soon.

And as long as the coronavirus hangs around, the democrats and their co-conspirators, the liberal propaganda, fake news media can stand back, whip up the hysteria, and take pot shots at him.

acorona3 3

Boy…, the democrats and their co-conspirators, the liberal propaganda, fake news media friends are sure desperate to gain political control over this country again, aren’t they?

They are just hell-bent on destroying this country and our way of life.

That’s exactly why we have to stand strong and make sure they don’t get the chance.

At some point, people will get tired of living in fear and living in a bubble, and they’ll say screw it, just like they had been doing, and they’ll go back to living their lives again, and maybe they’ll get the flu along the way.

I see CNN has finally posted some news about the stock market!

Yes folks, and if you see CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, The Huffington Post (HuffPost), The New York Times or The Washington Post reporting news about Wall Street, or the economy in general, it’s bad news.

acnn3 9

In this case, CNN Business’ David Goldman reports, “US stocks plummet on Coronavirus fears: March 9, 2020.  Dow falls 2,100 points.”

Well, that is definitely news Mr. Goldman…, but it was news too when the stock market hit record highs like over 30 times this last year.

It’s funny how I didn’t see any mention of those economic events.

I wonder why?

acnn3 3

CNN must be doubly excited about this news…, as their hyping of the coronavirus seems to be working and that in turn is causing negative economic news.

Please check out my previous blogs regarding the coronavirus:

You scared of the Coronavirus?  From March 3, 2020

https://mrericksonrules.com/2020/03/03/you-scared-of-the-coronavirus/

and,

Death toll hits 14,000!  But I’m not talking about the coronavirus. From March 9, 2020.

https://mrericksonrules.com/2020/03/09/death-toll-hits-14000-but-im-not-talking-about-the-coronavirus/

Another article out there by David Goldman today reports, “It’s a bad day to be an energy company.”

Wow…, two articles in one day!  Mr. Goldman must be extra charged up by all of this bad news!

acnn3 8

Goldman reports, ‘“The rapidly falling price of oil [due to an oil price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia] is likely to put more pressure on energy companies in the United States, which will hurt the banks with the most credit exposure to the oil industry,’ according to CFRA Research analyst Pauline Bell.”

Yes, Mr. Goldman…, again, this is definitely news.

But it was also news when President Trump pushed to open-up more areas for oil exploration and when he got all of the pipelines approved.  Not to mention when we gained our independence from Middle Eastern oil, and in fact, became the world’s number one producer of oil again!

Not to mention how low the price of gas has been for over three years now.

This “good stuff” was also news that I didn’t catch you or CNN reporting about, or even bothering to mention in most cases.

Again, I wonder why?

acnn3 7

Actually, I don’t “wonder why” at all.

I know very well why all of the liberal propaganda, fake news, shamelessly tries to manipulate the news.

It’s all in an effort to support their anti-Trump narrative.

acnn3 1

acnn3 5

It’s just amazing to me how many people are still falling for this fake news.

acnn3 4

acnn3 2

Just watch the fanfare (I’m being sarcastic) about the market bouncing back on the fake news today.

There won’t be any.

acnn3 6

acnn3 10

Death toll hits 14,000!  But I’m not talking about the coronavirus.

The 14,000 deaths, at least, that I’m talking about is from the annual flu bug in the United States.

So where’s all of the hysteria about that?

14,000 deaths!

And 14,000 deaths is on the low end of the national estimate.  That number could be as high as 36,000!

The latest number we have for coronavirus related deaths is…, 22.

Yeah…, that’s right…, just 2-2.

acorona2 1

Additionally, according to the “Advisory Board” website, “The 2019-2020 flu season has seen the most pediatric deaths in a decade.”

“This flu season has been especially bad for children, according to the CDC. The latest CDC report shows 92 pediatric deaths had been reported as of Feb. 8, the highest number by week since the 2009-2010 flu season, in which 262 pediatric deaths had occurred by this point in the season, according to CDC.”

“ScienceAlert” website reports that, “Parents are understandably concerned. But it’s important to keep in mind that comparatively few children have tested positive for the coronavirus, and deaths in children are very rare.”

“The number of reported COVID-19 cases in children remains low: of more than 44,000 confirmed cases from China, only 416 (less than 1 percent) were aged nine years or younger. No deaths were reported in this age group.”

“The majority of children and adolescents with COVID-19 in China had mild infections and recovered within one to two weeks.”

So the regular old annual flu virus is considerably more dangerous for children that the coronavirus.  In fact, it appears the coronavirus isn’t dangerous for children at all.

Have we heard the fake news media reporting this?

In fact, it appears that the coronavirus isn’t really dangerous at all, except to elderly people and people who are already experiencing some form of disease or illness.

Have we heard the fake news reporting this?

The “Advisory Board” website goes on to say “Between 26 million and 36 million people have been stricken with the flu as of Feb. 8, according to the latest CDC data.”

Again…, “Between 26 MILLION and 36 MILLION people have been stricken with the flu [in the U.S.] as of Feb. 8, according to the latest CDC data.”

And we have that many cases and we already have a vaccine for the flu!

And how many people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus?

Around 500.

That’s right…, 500.

26,000,000-36,000,000 versus 500.

Oh…, but the world is coming to an end because of the coronavirus!

acorona2 3

acorona2 5

The hysteria being created by the fake news media and the democrats is obviously politically motivated.

Just looking at the numbers, what else could explain their reporting regarding the suppression of the flu figures and the hype of the coronavirus numbers?

As usual, what we have here is the democrats taking advantage of a crisis…, albeit a manufactured crisis.

acorona2 4

acorona2 42

If the fake news media and the democrats were really concerned about our wellbeing, they would be putting the coronavirus in the proper perspective and being more outspoken about the dangers of the flu virus.

It’s as simple as that.

If you could catch the virus from watching TV or reading a paper, they wouldn’t be hyping it.  I guarantee you that!

You scared of the Coronavirus?

Were you as scared of the flu, we’re all so familiar with, a month or two ago?

Based on the numbers, if you’re going to be scared, you should be just as scared of the flu…, actually you should be much more scared of the flu!

According to Jamie Ducharme of TIME Magazine, even though we have vaccines for the flu, “In total, the CDC estimates that up to 42.9 million people got sick during the 2018-2019 flu season [November thru April, or about six months], 647,000 people were hospitalized and 61,200 died.”

And that’s only in the U.S.

Currently 2 people have died from the Coronavirus in the U.S.

Two.

The MedicineNet website reports that, “Seasonal flu kills 291,000 to 646,000 people worldwide each year, according to a new estimate.”

Wait…, what’s that again?

The MedicineNet website reports that, “Seasonal flu kills 291,000 to 646,000 people worldwide each year, according to a new estimate.”

The flu kills 291,000 to 646,000 people worldwide each year!!!

Joshua Berlinger, Jessie Yeung, Adam Renton, Mike Hayes, Rachel Bowman and Meg Wagner of CNN say the, “Coronavirus death toll tops 3,000.”

That’s in the two months of January and February of 2020.

3,000.

The good old seasonal flu we’re used to “kills 291,000 to 646,000 people worldwide each year.”

Again…, that’s 291,000 to 646,000!

aflu 3

And you’re all worked up about the Coronavirus?

Now why would that be?

Hmmm, let me think.

Could it be because the fake news, liberal propaganda is blowing the Coronavirus all out of proportion?

I believe the answer to that question is “yes.”

aflu 8

I mean…, 291,000 to 646,000 people have been dying from the flu year after year after year after year, and no one seemed to be making a big deal about it.

Am I wrong?

And now 3,000 have died from the Coronavirus and the fake news media and the disingenuous democrat leadership are all losing their minds?

aflu 4

Why are these 3,000 people so special, compared to the 291,000 to 646,000 people that annually from the flu now?

Denise Grady, of The New York Times, reports, “As the United States recorded its first coronavirus death Saturday…, Americans wondered how to measure this new threat against a more familiar foe: influenza.”

“President Donald Trump, a self-described ‘germaphobe,’ said Wednesday he was amazed to learn that tens of thousands of Americans died from the flu each year, contrasting that number with the 60 or so known to be infected with the coronavirus. On Friday, [President] Trump accused the news media and Democrats of exaggerating the dangers of the virus.”

Isn’t that obvious?

And getting the Coronavirus is not a “death sentence.”  In fact most people are able to recover from the virus, just like most people are able to recover from the flu.

aflu 6

“Both the coronavirus and influenza are most dangerous to people who are older than 65, or have chronic illnesses or a weak immune system.

“There seems to be another important difference: The flu appears far more dangerous to children, particularly very young ones, who can become severely ill. Children infected with the new coronavirus tend to have mild or no symptoms.”

“As of Feb. 22, in the current [flu] season there were at least 32 million cases of flu in the United States, 310,000 hospitalizations and 18,000 flu deaths, according to the CDC. Hospitalization rates among children and young adults this year have been unusually high.”

aflu 1

So again, I ask you, where is the panic and finger pointing regarding our current flu numbers?

The current flu numbers are far, far worse compared to the current Coronavirus numbers.

“Doctors can recommend only the usual remedies for [ANY] viral illness: rest, medicine to reduce pain and fever, and fluids to avoid dehydration.”

We’ve all been there, haven’t we?

These “remedies,” “…can lessen the severity of the illness and shorten its course by a day or so, and they may lower the risk of serious complications.”

Anyway…, hopefully, I’ve managed to calm you down about the Coronavirus, raise your awareness about the flu, and raise your awareness as to how the fake news media and the disingenuous democrat leadership attempt to control and manipulate “the news.”

The Coronavirus, Mexico and illegal immigration.

acorona 2

Right now, the coronavirus is not a problem in Mexico.

There have been some suspected cases, but nothing confirmed.

But what if the virus spreads to Mexico?

Better said, what about WHEN the virus spreads to Mexico…, because you know it will.

Then how will democrats spin their love of illegal immigration?

acorona 6

Even though President Trump has managed to greatly reduce illegal immigration from Mexico, there is still an average of over 30,000 illegal immigrants crossing over into our country on a monthly basis.

acorona 7

That’s over 30,000 people, A MONTH, just walking into our country, unscreened for the coronavirus, or any other virus or disease for that matter.

When the virus starts showing up in Mexico, that’s when we’ll really see the effects of not being able to control our borders.

I’m sure President Trump will ask for the means to exert additional control over the border (which would be a completely reasonable and appropriate request), and I’m sure the democrats will fight him every step of the way on this.

acorona 8

We already understand that democrats have NO concern for the safety of American citizens when it comes to illegal immigrants…, so I’m sure passing the coronavirus onto us all (but not them of course) won’t bother them at all.

acorona 3

I can hear all of the democrats now…

“Donald Trump is to blame!”

Donald Trump is just using the coronavirus as an excuse to expand his racist border practices.”

acorona 12

“Immigrants (referring to illegal immigrants) have a right to the best treatment for the virus, just like American citizens.”

acorona 10

“It isn’t right to discriminate against individuals who are sick by no fault of their own.

“We are a caring nation and we shouldn’t turn anyone away for any reason.”

acorona 5

Keep your ears open and see how long it takes to start hearing comments like these from the democrats and their co-conspirators in the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

The Statue of Liberty says, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”

It doesn’t say anything about sending your sick people here!

Especially your sick people who have the potential of spreading an epidemic across our country and killing thousands, perhaps millions of Americans.
