“We (I) Hold These Truths to be Self Evident”

The democrats don’t deal in truths. They deal in a series of power hungry charades.

There is a God.

And if God exists, so does Satan.

We see evidence of God and Satan around us every day.

An abortion takes the life of an innocent human being.

Those who promote abortions are puppets of the Devil.

Women who have had a change of heart about abortion deserve our love and prayers, and the knowledge that God and their unborn child has already forgiven them and loves them.

We are all human. We all have sinned. We all have fallen short of the glory of God.

“If you’re going through hell, just keep moving. You might get out before the Devil even knows you’re there.”

It is true that money (which equates to power) is the root of all evil.

Sex is not far behind money. Sexual deviancy (Pedophilia in particular) needs to be crushed and eradicated like the cultural cancer it is.

Crude oil IS NOT a product of long dead dinosaurs and animals. It is a natural product of the Earth, and we will not run out of it.

Elite Climate alarmists don’t really think they can change our climate, while their foolish followers believe they can.

Today’s democrats would have supported the British in The Revolutionary War.

Today’s democrats have more in common with Hitler and the Nazis than the allied countries that opposed him at the time.

John F. Kennedy’s assassination was orchestrated by elements within our own government, and then covered up by elements within our own government. Specifically the CIA, LBJ, and other cooperative establishment politicians and bureaucrats. And you can probably say that for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well.

Donald Trump winning the 2016 presidential election over Hillary Clinton caught the democrats completely off guard. They would not allow this scenario to happen again, by any means.

Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 presidential election.

The COVID-19 virus was developed in a Chinese lab, with the help of American funding, to be released into the world, by global fascist forces, when needed to mitigate a threat to their power and control, namely President Trump.

Dogs are more loyal and loving than most people.

The United States has seen its last free and fair national election, relatively speaking, back in 2016.

Any government entity distinguished by three letters, four in some cases, (eg: DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS) are corrupt and politically weaponized beyond your wildest imagination.

Jeffrey Epstein DID NOT commit suicide, nor did Vince Foster. I’m sorry if some of you may need to look Vince Foster up.

Our government is currently run by unelected bureaucrats (The Swamp), not our elected representatives.

Any topic the corrupt DOJ or FBI does not want to talk about is described as “an ongoing investigation.”

It is unethical and immoral for our government to borrow money in order to give it away, especially to foreign countries, leaving the American taxpayers with the burden of paying this money back.

People coming into our country illegally should not get preferential treatment over our military veterans and current citizens.

Our founding fathers meant the “free press” to watchdogs over our politicians and our government, not propagandist lapdogs.

Think about how ignorant and ill-informed the average American is, then understand that half of all Americans are more ignorant and ill-informed than that.

We should all support our police, but we all have also seen how quickly the police can flip from crime fighters and protectors to political mandate enforcers and adversaries of our Constitutional freedoms.

Humans, generally, don’t handle freedom well. That’s why, sadly, America was doomed from the start.

We should all learn how to speak Chinese.

“Weaken America First” is the Democrats’ Goal

According to Newt Gingrich, former Congressman from Georgia, and Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995-1999, for Fox News, “Biden, Democrats make every decision based on how it impacts America and always chose what hurts the most.”

“When Sean Hannity asked me why President Joe Biden would favor buying oil and gas from Venezuela over producing oil and gas in Texas, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Louisiana or North Dakota, something clicked in my thinking.”

Something “clicked” for me as well, although for me it “clicked” a couple of years ago. So, welcome to the party Newt, although you’re quite late.

My prior thinking was that democrats were misguided, foolish, and/or stupid, but then I came to realize the democrats’ (at least the ruling class of democrats) anti-America actions were calculated and evil, while the majority of their followers were misguided, foolish, and/or stupid, although we all know that ignorance is no excuse in the end.

Newt continues, “I was reminded of the amazing speech United Nations Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick gave at the 1984 Republican Convention, when she described the ‘blame-America-first Democrats.’”

“I suddenly realized the common thread of Biden administration policies at home and abroad is to weaken America.”

Ya think, Newt?!

Is this why it seems the republicans are always a day late and a dollar short?

“Think about the administration’s range of choices and ask yourself: Which ones would strengthen America, and which ones would weaken it?”

“In Afghanistan, Biden could have followed the advice of [some of] the professional military and withdrawn in a calm and orderly manner. This would have led to no loss of life, no abandonment of equipment, and no sense of humiliating failure. It would have made America stronger.”

“Instead, the Biden administration overruled the military, abandoned billions in equipment, fled Afghanistan in chaos [and humiliation], sacrificed 13 young Americans [soldiers], and abandoned thousands of Americans and tens of thousands of our allies. He chose to weaken America.”

Biden and his administration were then allowed to lie and deny the whole thing, without being held accountable by the fake news media.

“The Biden team could side with the demonstrators in Iran and China who are trying to overthrow dictatorships. Instead, it has made a series of weak, border-line pathetic comments. A strong America would reach out to people striving to be free. A weak America [led by a bought and paid for Joe Biden] kowtows to Xi Jinping and the Chinese communist dictatorship and grovels to the ayatollah and the Iranian tyranny, no matter how much they work against us. Once again, weakening America and strengthening our enemies is the Biden [and the democrats’] model.”

“If the United States had sustained [maintained] [its] energy independence, we would be strengthening our European allies with liquid natural gas. They could ignore Russia’s economic blackmail. A strong America would do just that. Instead, the Biden administration is pleading with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia and exonerating him from the killing of a journalist. All of Biden’s earlier tough language about Saudi Arabia being a ‘pariah state’ has dissolved. All that is left is Biden’s whimpering plea for more Saudi oil to make up for the American oil he has blocked. Again, America is weaker.”

Again, while Biden and his administration were then allowed to lie, deny, spread disinformation about the whole thing, without being held accountable by the fake news media.

“As I mentioned, Kirkpatrick was the first to clearly identify the decay of the Democrats away from strength and realism toward weakness and fantasies. Her 1984 speech captured the trajectory of madness and destruction onto which the Democrats had embarked.”

That’s close to 40 years ago already, and the democrats definitely are living in some sort of sick “fantasy” world.

“She noted that the Democrats at that time had clearly broken from the patriotic traditions of Democrat Presidents Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon Johnson and were on a new, more destructive path. She continued: ‘They said that saving Grenada from terror and totalitarianism was the wrong thing to do, they didn’t blame Cuba or the communists for threatening American students and murdering Grenadians, they blamed the United States instead.’”

“When our Marines, sent to Lebanon on a multinational peacekeeping mission with the consent of the United States Congress, were murdered in their sleep, the ‘blame America first crowd’ didn’t blame the terrorists who murdered the Marines, they blamed the United States.”

“When the Soviet Union walked out of arms control negotiations, and refused even to discuss the issues, the San Francisco Democrats didn’t blame Soviet intransigence. They blamed the United States.”

“When Marxist dictators shoot their way to power in Central America, the San Francisco Democrats don’t blame the guerrillas and their Soviet allies, they blame United States policies…”

“In the last 38 years, ‘blame America first’ has metastasized into ‘weaken America first.’”

“The patriotic courage of Presidents Truman, Kennedy and Johnson has mutated into a steadily weaker and more pathetic foreign and national security policy. It began with President Jimmy Carter and grew steadily worse with Presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Biden.”

Newt’s perspective here is more of an historic one, and one from a world view.

My perspective here is more one of current affairs and current democrat policies, such as:

The promotion of criminal behavior, and the allowance of crime against law-abiding individuals and businesses.

The promotion of and the allowance of illegal immigrants crossing into our country on our southern border.

The promotion of and the allowance of the Mexican drug cartels to carry out their drug trafficking and human trafficking operations.

The creation of record high inflation, and the disinformation and denial of this record inflation.

The systematic destruction of our country’s history.

The promotion of pedophilia as an acceptable life style, and the federal protection of those involved in this lifestyle, regarding Epstein’s client list for example.

The promotion of aborting babies at any time, even after birth!

The weaponization of the DOJ and the FBI against any citizen who dares to disagree with the democrats’ stated goals and narratives.

The attack on fossil fuel production in our country, even though fossil fuels still provide 90-95% of the energy our country requires.

The promotion of Climate Change as a world-ending, human created, problem, and the promotion of Green New Deal policies and laws that would supposedly have some type of positive effect on this supposed problem.

The promotion of pandemic policies, vaccines, and mandates, which had no basis in science, but rather were all politically driven, with no consideration of the well-being of the American people, or the people of the world for that matter.

The coordinated assault on our election systems and procedures.

The degradation of our education system, and the promotion of liberal narrative indoctrination.

Their attacks on our Constitution, particularly the 1st and 2nd amendments.

It would seem the democrats certainly have left no stone unturned in their attack on our great country!

I agree with Newt when he says, “Today, the most reliable predictor of Biden administration (or Democrat Party) policy is whether it will strengthen or weaken America. If it will strengthen America, they almost certainly will not do it. If it will weaken America, they almost certainly will.”

There can be no doubt that “Weaken America First” is the Democrats’ Goal.

Tyranny Masquerading as a Democracy!

Yes, my friends…, we have reached a point where we have to start calling it like it is, and stop pretending that the democrats have any interest in doing what is best for our country, when in fact they want to destroy our country as it was established under the U.S. Constitution.

Please bear with me as I recap recent events that would support my claim.

First of all, we have lost any semblance of accountability by anyone in government…, at least relating to democrats and the deep state.

We see countless “investigations” but, in the end, no one of any significance ends up being charged or put in jail.

When laws that apply to us do not apply to the ruling class, that is the definition of tyranny.

WHEN YOU CAN CONTROL ELECTIONS YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO OR FEAR THE VOTERS.

As a result, we see no justice. The FBI and the DOJ have become completely politicized. The law is selectively applied based on the party affiliation and ideology of those in question.

Secondly, we are witnessing laws being passed and proposed which are significantly changing the fabric of our country, even though the democrats aren’t anywhere near having a mandate from the voters.

In fact, the Senate is actually tied 50-50, while in Congress, the democrats have a slight advantage of only 220-212.

Again, WHEN YOU CAN CONTROL ELECTIONS YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TO OR FEAR THE VOTERS.

Third, we see the Biden administration ignoring laws and imposing orders in order to impose their anti-American agenda. And, of course, the “Justice” system has no problem with this, nor does the mainstream propaganda media.

This is what you get when you cross incompetence, stupidity, ignorance, and evil.

We’ve seen our AWOL Vice President, “cackling” Kamala Harris, who had funded support to bail out Minneapolis rioters, only to see one of her bailed out rioters go on to commit murder.  Gee, thanks Kamala.  You, of course, carry no responsibility for this. And, of course, you have no comment, and our diligent free press doesn’t care to ask you about it either.

Then we come to the illustrious Army four-star General, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley. If we can believe the accounts of one of Watergate’s Bob Woodward, the liberals’ supposed journalistic hero, Milley was the one who led a real insurrection against President Trump, by attempting to usurp his authority regarding the handling of the nuclear strike codes, while he conspired with his counterpart in China, telling him he would warn him if President Trump was planning on attacking China, for some reason. Sounds like treason to me.  And this guy still has his job? He should be being court martialed as we speak! Although Biden has said he still has complete confidence in him.

We also have the “Justice” department continuing to refuse to name all of the disgusting liberals involved with Jeffrey Epstein on Pedophile Island. How fast would it take them to name conservatives, if they were involved? Just sayin’.

Lastly, we have Dr. Fauci. The guy who repeatedly lied to Congress (which is a crime) and who it has been shown was involved in promoting “gain of function” research, regarding the virus, while managing to use U.S taxpayer money, via a shell game of funding, in Chinese labs.

All of the individuals mentioned here should be in jail, as well as James Comey, Peter Strzok and his girlfriend, Lisa Page, Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as Hunter Biden, just for starters.

It’s sad.

We may not see any justice for these people in this life, but they will eventually get what they deserve.

Epstein is sitting in Hell, after being suicided, waiting for all of the rest of these pieces of garbage to show up.

And be assured, they will be showing up there.

That, at least, should give us all some solace.

The “For The People Act” is anything but.

“H.R. 1” represents the House of Representatives’ bill with the highest priority…, and it is obvious why.

According to Betsy McCaughey, for The Boston Herald, “Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab.”

The “For the People Act” has nothing to do with “The People,” and everything to do with “the democrats.”

On a side note, why does it seem that everything the democrats are doing lately seems to “trash the U.S. Constitution?’

Have you noticed this?

Didn’t all of these people take an oath to preserve and protect The Constitution?

Just sayin’.

“The bill eviscerates [“Eviscerates” is a strong word!] state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote.”

It’s our right to NOT vote as well, isn’t it?

It’s our right to NOT have someone vote on our behalf without our permission, isn’t it?

Well, isn’t it?

“Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out, but there are no criminal penalties if they don’t.”

The fact that in some states, “noncitizens” can get driver’s licenses, food stamps, Medicaid, other social services, or attend a public college, is a whole other issue…, but they should not be allowed to register to vote, and it should not be up to them to “opt out.”

“From California to New York, Democrats are already pushing to allow noncitizens to vote in local elections. They see this as their roadmap to a future permanent majority.”

Maybe “yes,” and maybe “no.”

Just because democrats let them in doesn’t necessarily mean they want to see America devolve into the socialist and totalitarian nightmares they just came from.

“HR 1’s bag of tricks also includes banning state voter ID requirements. Anyone can show up on Election Day to vote, registered or not, and simply sign a statement that they’re a legal voter.”

So, they’re saying voting is less important than:

Buying alcohol

Buying cigarettes

Sitting at a bar

Renting a car

Getting on an airplane

Adopting a pet

Renting a hotel room

Applying for a fishing license

Buying a cell phone

Visiting a casino

Picking up a prescription

Donating blood

Buying an “M” rated video game

Purchasing nail polish at CVS

Purchasing certain cold medicines

Attending the democrat national convention

Is that what they’re saying?

Yes…, that’s what they’re saying.

“HR 1 is being sold as a reform to make voting easier.”

Well, HR 1 definitely does that!

“In truth, it makes cheating easier.”

And we’ve already seen evidence of that in the 2020 election.

“HR 1 compels states to send out absentee or mail-in ballots universally, favoring Democrats who tend to use this method.”

The republicans may be forced to use this “method” as well in future elections.

I mean, you’ve got to fight fire with fire, right?

We may see a day, in the future, where there are more votes tallied than people living in America!

“It also forces states to count ballots that arrive by mail as late as 10 days after the election. Say goodbye to election night finality.”

“HR 1 also legalizes ballot harvesting, a practice many states are struggling to stop. A political organization pays a worker to walk through housing projects and neighborhoods, knock on doors, offer to help residents fill out the ballots they’ve received in the mail, and then submit the piles of completed ballots. It’s a recipe for fraud.”

“It’s also unconstitutional.”

“The authors of the Constitution worried that Congress would try to seize control of presidential selection using dirty tricks like those in HR 1. That’s why they acted to ‘to take the business as far as possible out of their hands,’ according to Charles Pinckney, a framer from South Carolina.”

“Congress, said Pinckney, ‘had no right to meddle’ in it. The framers provided in Article II, Sec. 1 that only state legislatures would have the power to determine how the president is chosen. No national rules.”

“But Pelosi has no qualms about trashing the Constitution to kneecap her opponents.”

There they go “trashing the Constitution, again.

“HR 1 also asserts Congress has the authority to make the District of Columbia into the 51st state. That would hand Democrats two more Senate seats, breaking the current 50-50 tie. Voter registration in D.C. is 76% Democratic and only 6% Republican.”

The recent election indicates the percentage is much higher than that, with over 92% of the votes going to democrats.

“Pelosi ignores that only a constitutional amendment can change the status or parameters of the district.”

“HR 1 also would expose supporters of conservative causes to disclosure and harassment. In 2013, then-President Barack Obama’s Internal Revenue Service tried to strong-arm tax-exempt tea party organizations into disclosing their donors. Pelosi’s bill would give that thuggish tactic the force of law, requiring organizations to disclose their donors.”

“Pelosi’s democracy-destroying bill will pass in the House, where Democrats have a majority [and have no problem with destroying democracy].”

“President Joe Biden has promised to sign it if it passes the Senate. So much for Biden’s unity pledge.”

And, because Illegitimate Joe just signs what they tell him to.

“Under current Senate rules, 60 votes are needed to enact HR 1. Democrats don’t have them yet. It’s up to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to protect the 60-vote filibuster rule. He’s called the bill ‘the Democratic Politician Protection Act,’ and deplores it as a naked attempt to change the election rules to benefit one party.”

It’s really cringeworthy when we have to count on Mitch McConnell to do anything.

“The bill is just what you’d expect from Pelosi. But the Senate needs to rise to the occasion and protect honest, competitive elections — the foundation of our freedom.”

The RStreet.org website says,

“H.R. 1 is likely the most consequential piece of election-related legislation in years and mostly in a bad way. Let’s be clear: it should be easier to participate in elections and easier to talk about elections. Anything that does the opposite is a bad idea.”

“As an organization, R Street stands strongly for the cause of political reform, and we will always support good policy. H.R. 1 is not good policy.”

The Heritage Foundation adds, about HR 1, that, “It would implement nationwide the worst changes in election rules that occurred during the 2020 election and go even further in eroding and eliminating basic security protocols that states have in place.”

“It would make it a criminal offense for a state official to reject a voter registration application even when it is rejected ‘under color of law’ [whatever that means] because the official believes the individual is ineligible to vote. It would also require states to allow 16-year-olds and 17-year-olds to register; when combined with a ban on voter ID and restrictions on the ability to challenge the eligibility of a voter, this would effectively ensure that underage individuals could vote with impunity.”

“Require states to count ballots cast by voters outside of their assigned precincts, overriding the precinct system used by almost all states that allows election officials to monitor votes, staff polling places, provide enough ballots, and prevent election fraud.”

“Mandate no-fault absentee ballots, which are the tool of choice for vote thieves. It would ban witness signature or notarization requirements for absentee ballots; force states to accept absentee ballots received up to 10 days after Election Day as long as they are postmarked by Election Day; and require states to allow vote trafficking (vote harvesting) so that any third parties—including campaign staffers and political consultants—can pick up and deliver absentee ballots.”

“H.R. 1 would add a provision criminalizing ‘hindering, interfering, or preventing’ anyone from registering or voting, which is so vague and so broad that it could prevent providing any information to election officials about the ineligibility of an individual, such as an applicant not being a U.S. citizen.”

“Reduce the number of Federal Election Commission members from six to five, allowing the political party with three commission seats to control the commission and engage in partisan enforcement activities.”

“Authorize the Internal Revenue Service to engage in partisan activity. H.R. 1 would permit the IRS to investigate and consider the political and policy positions of nonprofit organizations before granting tax-exempt status, thus enabling IRS officials to target organizations engaging in First Amendment activity with disfavored views.”

“Limit access to federal courts for anyone challenging H.R. 1. The bill would prohibit the filing of any lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of H.R. 1 anywhere except in the District Court for the District of Columbia and would allow the court to order all plaintiffs and intervenors, regardless of their number (such as all 50 states), ‘to file joint papers or to be represented by a single attorney at oral argument,’ severely limiting the legal representation and due process rights of challengers.”

Wow, they have really thought of everything!

We ARE living in America, aren’t we?

These democrats seem hell-bent on dragging us into some kind of Nazi Germany scenario.

And they have the unmitigated nerve to call this the “For The People Act” on top of it all.

There is no question that the democrats are completely un-American and have no shame.

No shame, whatsoever.

I have many blogs out here regarding democrat voting shenanigans you can check out as well.

The following blog links contain some of my suggestions to improve our voting process.

These would be things that should be included in HR 1 if the democrats were really interested in improving the process for “We The People.”

Thank you, MrEricksonRules.

What are the implications of “ballot harvesting?”

First of all, what is “ballot harvesting?”

Luis Gomez of the San Diego Union-Tribune say, ‘“Ballot harvesting’ is political jargon for a practice in which organized workers or volunteers collect absentee ballots from certain voters and drop them off at a polling place or election office.”

Prior to 2016, turning in absentee ballots was restricted to just relatives of or those living in the same household as the voter.

Since 2016, any person is allowed to collect a mail-in ballot, or thousands of mail-in ballots, from voters and turn in the mail ballot to a polling place or the registrar’s office.

Can you begin to see the potential problems here?

balloth 1

While critics of the new absentee ballot laws are complaining about the potential for voter fraud, the proponents of the new laws say it allows more eligible citizens to participate in elections.  Ya…, even those “eligible citizens” who had no intention of voting, or better yet…, “eligible citizens” who aren’t “eligible,” or those “eligible citizens” who aren’t even “citizens,” or those “eligible citizens” who aren’t even real, live, people!

balloth 4

The Heritage Foundation calls it the “tool of choice for vote thieves.”

balloth 3

In California, ballot harvesting was used to flip seven Republican seats to the Democratic column in 2018.

According to former congressman and Fox News contributor, Jason Chaffetz, “The indication that ballot harvesting made the difference in California can be found in the vote proportions. Studies of absentee voters have consistently shown they tend to reflect the population or lean slightly to the right. But when ballot harvesting was deployed in California, we saw late ballots break heavily for Democrats.”

“Take, for example, the race between former Republican Rep. David Valadao and Democrat T. J. Cox in California’s rural 21st district. When polls closed, Valadao led Cox by 6,000 votes — or 8 percent. That margin was wide enough for media outlets to call the race for Valadao.”

“However, late ballots delivered by third-party groups broke so heavily for Cox that he ultimately eked out an 843-vote victory. The results after ballot harvesting were very different from the polling before the race and since.”

balloth 6

So the new election game plan is to see how many votes your candidate is losing by after all of the conventional votes have been cast, then go back and produce as many absentee ballot votes as you need to win.

Brilliant!

Too bad it’s also cheating and illegal.

What is the voting scenario going to be if both parties decide to partake of this practice?

First the traditional voting takes place…, then one party produces enough votes to jump ahead…, then the other party produces enough votes to jump back ahead…, then the other party, then the other party, and so on and so on.

When would the voting end?

With this scenario, we could have 500,000 votes cast in a district with only 200,000 eligible voters!

Something needs to be done about this whole absentee ballot situation.

I’d like to refer to a couple of my previous blogs to offer-up some answers.

The first blog is from November 5, 2018, and is titled, “It’s not “just” one vote.  It’s MY one vote!”

If the American people lose confidence in the integrity of our election system, we are one big step closer to our republic dissolving right before our eyes.

We hear about examples of voter fraud, and liberals (And please note: The issue of voter fraud is almost exclusively synonymous with liberals/democrats) are always quick to discount our voter fraud concerns as “not that prevalent,” “inconsequential,” “unfounded,” or “very rare.”  Then they will quickly turn the discussion to the “real” problem, in their minds, of voter suppression, which truly is virtually a non-existent problem.

Anyone who wants to vote in this country surely gets every opportunity to do so.

Can you imagine how quickly the “biased, liberal, fake news media” would jump on any credible case of voter suppression?

balloth 7

I rest my case.

Okay.  Back to the concerns about voter fraud.

The big question is how many fraudulent votes are acceptable?

Who’s going to the first one to stand up and volunteer to have their vote cancelled out by a fraudulent vote?

Not me.

And I’m guessing not you either.

The right to vote in a free and fair election is our most basic civil right, and one on which many other rights of the American people depend.

Our government should be able to guarantee that every eligible individual who wants to vote can, and that no one’s vote is stolen or discounted.

Voter fraud is real and hundreds of convictions have been made and documented.

balloth 2

According to The Heritage Foundation:

Contrary to the claims of many liberals, the problem of voter fraud is as old as the country itself.  As the U.S. Supreme Court noted when it upheld Indiana’s voter identification law in 2008, “flagrant examples” of voter fraud “have been documented throughout this Nation’s history by respected historians and journalists.”

Attempts to commandeer election results have been documented dating back to the 1800’s.  In one New York election in 1844, 55,000 votes were recorded even though there were only 41,000 eligible voters. Decades later, these efforts have continued and determined fraudsters have become only more creative in their efforts to fix the outcome of elections.

So what are the different types of election fraud that liberals use in an attempt to undermine our election system?  Well, here they are:

Impersonation fraud at the polls: Voting in the name of other legitimate voters and voters who have died, moved away, lost their right to vote for some reason, but remain registered.

False registrations: Voting under fraudulent voter registrations that either use a phony name and a real or fake address or claim residence in a particular jurisdiction where the registered voter does not actually live and is not entitled to vote.

Duplicate voting: Registering in multiple locations and voting in the same election in more than one jurisdiction or state.

Fraudulent use of absentee ballots: Requesting absentee ballots and voting without the knowledge of the actual voter; or obtaining the absentee ballot from a voter and either filling it in directly and forging the voter’s signature or illegally telling the voter who to vote for.

Buying votes: Paying voters to cast either an in-person or absentee ballot for a particular candidate.

Illegal “assistance” at the polls: Forcing or intimidating voters, particularly the elderly, disabled, illiterate, and those for whom English is a second language, to vote for particular candidates while supposedly providing them with “assistance.”

Ineligible voting: Illegal registration and voting by individuals who are not U.S. citizens, or are otherwise not eligible to vote.

Manipulating someone’s vote automatically at the voting machine.

Altering the vote count: Changing the actual vote count either in a precinct or at the central location where votes are counted.

Altering the vote count: Changing the actual vote count either in a precinct or at the central location where votes are counted.

So, who is responsible for ensuring the integrity of our elections?

Each state is generally responsible for the administration of its own electoral systems, including elections for federal office.  This being the case, I feel we open ourselves up to many problems, mostly because the states don’t have access to national databases, which presents the possibility of citizens being registered in multiple states and voting in multiple states.

Of course MrEricksonRules has his own remedy for all of our voting integrity woes!

First, our government needs to establish a new national holiday called “Election Day,” of course.  This would offer everyone every opportunity and ample time to vote.  Especially those people who work for a living.

balloth 5

There would be no “early” voting.  All voting would occur on Election Day.

All voting machines would be identical, and issued to the states by the federal government.

Polling stations would be manned by current federal and/or state employees.  This would give us a level of accountability we currently don’t have.

All votes would have to be cast in person.  The practice of using absentee ballots would be discontinued.  Military personnel would vote at their duty stations and their votes would be routed to their corresponding state based on a military database.  Others unable to be in their “home” state to vote on Election Day would be able to cast a provisional ballot in the state they were physically in, then each state would then be responsible for sending these votes to their respective states.  These votes would only be counted if the total number of provisional votes could potentially change the outcome of the election.

Every adult individual would be required to obtain a Federal Voter Identification Card, if they want to vote.

An initial “national voter database” would be established by cross referencing the IRS database, national military databases, national benefit databases, Social Security databases, along with Medicare and Medicaid databases.

Initial Federal Voter Identification Cards would then be mailed out based on this database.  People not receiving cards by a given date would then be responsible for acquiring a card at designated state or federal locations.

Any person voting who could not be verified on the national voter database would be casting a provisional ballot.

Once you have voted, this would be entered into the national voting database, which would limit you from voting again, in the current election.

There you go.

Problem solved.

Any other problems or issues of national importance may be submitted at any time to Mr. Erickson at MrEricksonRules.com.

Joseph Stalin, who ruled the Soviet Union (Russia) from the mid-1920s until his death in 1953, said, “It doesn’t matter how many people vote, only who counts the votes.”

“A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.” – President Teddy Roosevelt

The second blog is from August 7, 2018, and is titled, “Voting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say ‘one vote per citizen’ till it be morrow.” ― Will Shakespeare (not to be confused with William Shakespeare)

While there are many groups and organizations out there that deal with the right to vote, there are not many out there that promote our right to make sure our vote counts.

Which is more serious, obstructing someone’s right to vote or negating someone’s vote with an illegal ballot?

I would argue that both scenarios are just as serious in their own rights.

I feel the penalties for defrauding our voting systems should be increased significantly.  The penalties for tampering with votes should be quite severe in any case.

Just as violating someone’s civil rights to cast a vote is a serious crime, with stiff penalties, so too it should be a very serious crime to negate, or steal, the vote of others by casting illegal/fraudulent ballots.

If we as a country cannot be confident in the integrity of our elections, we are on a slippery slope towards anarchy.

Our voting laws and procedures should also strike a balance between the right to vote and the right to have your vote count.

All US citizens should be eligible to vote, of course, along with the following considerations:

There should be no early voting.  Voting should take place on one day.  This one day should be a national holiday, so everyone has time to vote.

There should be no absentee voting or mail-in ballots, except for people serving our military or government overseas, and this should be strictly controlled.

A photo ID should be required.  Either a driver’s license or a state ID card, with an address of residence.

Along with the photo ID, a social security card should also be presented, identifying the person as a US citizen.

A federal election should be covered by federal election laws, not differing state laws.

Just recently I read an article by Lukas Mikelionis of Fox News.  In his article, he points out that, “The names of non-US citizens are increasingly being found on our voter rolls, thanks to covert registration methods, with nothing actually stopping them from casting a ballot in an election.”

In a recent example, Mikelionis relates the story of Elizaveta Shuvalova, a Russian citizen who became a U.S. citizen only last year in 2017, but was oddly registered as an eligible voter in 2012 and added to the San Francisco voter rolls, according to The Washington Times.

“She was perplexed to find herself in the voter rolls, saying she wasn’t an American citizen and didn’t even register to vote.”

“‘I’ve never registered for anything in my entire life,’ Shuvalova told the paper. ‘This is news to me.’”

He went on to explain that, “The woman’s voter log shows that she signed up as a Democrat in July 2012.  In 2016, her registration was canceled after she informed election authorities that she wasn’t eligible to vote because she wasn’t yet a U.S. citizen.”

(Hmm, she was illegally signed up to vote as a democrat of all things!  How unusual…NOT!)

“‘This is definitely a shocker to me.  It is like an identity fraud because this is not coming from me,’ the woman, who identifies as a Democrat, said. ‘Like I told you, I haven’t even been a citizen during that time frame.  So what can we do about it?’”

“But the case of Shuvalova is part of a larger concern some groups have when it comes to the integrity of our elections.  They claim that stories like hers are a common occurrence in many parts of the country.”

“The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a nonprofit specializing in election integrity, found that non-Americans are being added to voter rolls in states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia as well.”

“For instance, in 2017, the group found that nearly 5,600 people on the voter rolls in Virginia were deemed as non-citizens, with a third of them voting in previous elections.”

(That equates to 5,600 actual citizens being robbed of their vote by having their vote cancelled out in many cases!)

“‘All of this could have been prevented if states actually verified citizen eligibility upfront,’ said PILF research director Logan Churchwell.”

“John Arntz, director of the San Francisco Department of Elections, told the Times that a signed registration card was submitted to the office to qualify the woman as a signer of the petition.  He added that activists often distribute registration cards along with their petitions.”

“Normally, election authorities should check the registration application with other databases such as the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles and the secretary of state’s office to ensure the person is a citizen.”

(Yes, Mr. Arntz, checking these databases should be done, but apparently it isn’t being done, and you don’t seemed too overly concerned about it either.)

“The San Francisco election official said that Shuvalova could have easily gotten away with voting in elections before 2016 and she probably would have remained on the voter rolls as an eligible voter had she not informed officials.”

(Just another example of those damn Russians, oops, I mean those damn Democrats, meddling in our elections!)

“But Arntz told the Times that the woman’s story isn’t a reflection on whole the integrity of the election system.  (Of course it isn’t!)  ‘If it was a problem, this would be an issue that comes up every election or something we would have experienced more through time.  But it doesn’t,’ he said.”

(Oh, it happens alright.  You just haven’t been forced to acknowledge it until now.)

“‘I can’t remember forwarding an allegation that someone was a non-citizen who registered to vote or did vote,’ Arntz said.  He added that, ‘Nobody in San Francisco has yet been prosecuted for being a non-citizen on the voter rolls.”

(Yes, Mr. Arntz, and therein lies the problem.)

Tampering with the vote is an insidious crime that is like a cancer attacking the soul of our country.  This cancer must be dealt with, and it must be dealt with harshly and in no uncertain terms.

Is California voter fraud a fraud?

According to Ed Kilgore of New York Magazine, and most liberals, it is.  In a recent article, Mr. Kilgore calls “voter fraud” a “Republican myth.”

voter fraud schumer

Commenting on Republicans’ questioning of the California voting process during the midterm election, “… they professed mystification at the final results. I say “professed” because it’s hard to believe Speaker Paul Ryan is as stupid as he sounds here:”

“The California election system ‘just defies logic to me,’ [former Speaker of The House, Paul] Ryan said during a Washington Post event.

‘“We were only down 26 seats the night of the [midterm] election and three weeks later, we lost basically every California race….’”

‘“In Wisconsin, we knew the next day. Scott Walker, my friend, I was sad to see him lose, but we accepted the results on Wednesday,’ Ryan said.  In California, ‘their system is bizarre; I still don’t completely understand it. There are a lot of races there we should have won.’”

Kilgore adds that, “All in all, the situation in California was well summarized by the statewide elected official in charge of the system, Alex Padilla, [The Secretary of State for the state of California], in a tart response to [then Republican Speaker of The House, Paul] Ryan:”

‘“It is bizarre that Paul Ryan cannot grasp basic voting rights protections,’ Padilla said in a statement to ‘The Hill’….”

But…, “In just [the last] four years, the number of absentee ballots distributed in California has increased by 44 percent. ‘Nearly 13 million voters have received a ballot in the mail, compared to just 9 million in the last gubernatorial election in 2014,’ notes Paul Mitchell, vice president of Political Data Inc.”

‘“In California, we believe in an inclusive and accessible democracy. We provide voters as many opportunities as possible to cast their ballots,’ Padilla’s statement continues. ‘That is why we have no excuse vote by mail, automatic voter registration, same-day voter registration, and early voting. These reforms helped drive California’s historic registration and a 30 year high in midterm turnout.’”

Kilgore then adds, “This brouhaha might not matter if it did not feed the same myths of voter fraud that led Donald Trump to claim without a hint of evidence after the 2016 elections that ‘millions’ of illegal votes had been cast for Hillary Clinton in California, robbing him of a popular-vote plurality nationally. Going into 2020, this sort of loose talk needs to be debunked wherever possible, unless we want to risk the possibility of a GOP election defeat that is not simply questioned but denied.”

Okay Ed Kilgore, and all of your liberal friends…, my turn.

Liberals (democrats) are always quick to dismiss any concerns about voter fraud.  They dismiss these concerns as if you were stating a concern about extraterrestrials (ETs) affecting the voting process.

This is exactly the case and the honest to God’s truth.

Let me state this again, “Liberals (democrats) are always quick to dismiss any concerns about voter fraud.  They dismiss these concerns as if you were stating a concern about extraterrestrials (ETs) affecting the voting process.”

All I have to say is, “E.T…., phone home.”

The group “Judicial Watch” is currently suing California and Los Angeles County over “dirty” voter registration rolls.

Before I go any further, let’s see who “Judicial Watch” is.

Per “Judicial Watch’s” website:

Judicial Watch, Inc., a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law. Through its educational endeavors, Judicial Watch advocates high standards of ethics and morality in our nation’s public life and seeks to ensure that political and judicial officials do not abuse the powers entrusted to them by the American people. Judicial Watch fulfills its educational mission through litigation, investigations, and public outreach.

The motto of Judicial Watch is “Because no one is above the law”. To this end, Judicial Watch uses the open records or freedom of information laws and other tools to investigate and uncover misconduct by government officials and litigation to hold to account politicians and public officials who engage in corrupt activities.

Okay, back to talking about unicorns…, ooops, I mean voter fraud.

“Judicial Watch” has filed a federal lawsuit against Los Angeles County and the State of California over their failure to clean their voter rolls and to produce election-related records as required by the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).

“Judicial Watch” argues that the State of California and a number of its counties, including the county of Los Angeles, have registration rates exceeding 100%!

According to “Judicial Watch,” “Eleven of California’s 58 counties have registration rates exceeding 100% of the age-eligible citizenry.”

“Los Angeles County has more voter registrations on its voter rolls than it has citizens who are old enough to register.  Specifically, according to data provided to and published by the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), Los Angeles County has a registration rate of 112% of its adult citizen population.”

Why is this important to note?  Well, besides the obvious concerns about potential fraudulent votes, Los Angeles County is particularly noteworthy because of the number of potential voters it represents.

Here are a couple interesting facts:

There are only 7 states that have larger populations than Los Angeles County!

Los Angeles County has a larger population that Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Delaware and Washington DC combined!

la county vs 10 statesSo when we’re talking about the numbers of potential fraudulent votes in Los Angeles County, and California overall, we’re talking about millions of votes. That is nothing to sneeze at or dismiss out of hand.

Judicial Watch points out that, “About 21% of all of California’s voter registrations, or more than one in five, are designated as ‘inactive.’”

“California has the highest rate of inactive registrations of any state in the country…, [and] Los Angeles County has the highest number of inactive registrations of any single county in the country.”

Interesting.

Judicial Watch explains that, “Even though a registration is officially designated as “inactive,” it may still be voted on Election Day and is still on the official voter registration list. The inactive registrations of voters who have moved to a different state “are particularly vulnerable to fraudulent abuse by a third party” because the voter who has moved “is unlikely to monitor the use of or communications concerning an old registration.” Inactive registrations “are also inherently vulnerable to abuse by voters who plan to fraudulently double-vote in two different jurisdictions on the same Election Day.”

Judicial Watch has sent numerous written requests for public records pertaining to their voter lists and inactive registrations, but was stonewalled each time. In other cases their requests were just ignored by “The People’s Republic of California.”

“California may have the dirtiest election rolls in the country,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Federal law requires states to take reasonable steps to clean up their voting rolls. Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections. This lawsuit aims to ensure that citizens of California can have more confidence that their elections are fair and honest.”

Judicial Watch has previously filed successful lawsuits against Ohio and Indiana that resulted in those states taking several actions to clean up their voting rolls.  Judicial Watch is currently suing Kentucky over its failure to remove ineligible voters, and is suing the State of Maryland and Montgomery County over their failure to release voting-related records.

So, there you have it.

Please tell us again, Ed Kilgore, how, “Voter fraud is just a Republican myth.”

Please tell us again, Mr. Kilgore, how “stupid” we are for even thinking there might be something to be concerned about here.

Please explain to us again, Mr. Alex Padilla, how, “In California, we believe in an inclusive and accessible democracy. We provide voters as many opportunities as possible to cast their ballots.”

What this translates to is, “In California, we believe in giving democrats access to every opportunity in order to guarantee their candidates get as many votes as is necessary to win.”

Please tell us again, Ed Kilgore, about, “The myths of voter fraud that led Donald Trump to claim without a hint of evidence after the 2016 elections that ‘millions’ of illegal votes had been cast for Hillary Clinton in California, robbing him of a popular-vote plurality nationally.”

Again, we see that President Trump was probably right, again.

Please tell us again, Mr. Kilgore, how, “Going into 2020, this sort of loose talk needs to be debunked wherever possible, unless we want to risk the possibility of a GOP election defeat that is not simply questioned but denied.”

Oh…, Mr. Kilgore, you mean like how you and your democrat friends have not only “questioned but denied” Hillary Clinton’s defeat in 2016?

Is that what you mean?

Again we see that the hypocrisy and shamelessness of the democrats knows no bounds.  They are willing to do absolutely ANYTHING to promote their candidates and their agenda…, ANYTHING.

As patriotic Americans, it is our duty to realize this and to continue to fight for honesty and fairness in the voting process and in our government in general.

Well, I guess we can add Senator Ted Kennedy to the list of treasonous liberals!

Watching “Life, Liberty and Levin” the other night, a TV show hosted by (The Great One) Mark Levin, I was floored by a letter his guest, Paul Kengor, discussed.

Paul Kengor is a political science professor at Grove City College, and the author of the book, “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism,” among others.

According to Sheila Fitzpatrick of the Wiley Online Library, “The opening of formerly closed and classified archives following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 was a remarkable experience for historians…, our data base abruptly expanded in a quantum leap…”

This is how a KGB letter, dated May 14, 1983, written at the height of the Cold War, from the head of the KGB Viktor Chebrikov to Yuri Andropov, who was then General Secretary of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party, came to light.

Here is the translated letter:

Special Importance Committee on State Security of the USSR

14.05.1983 No. 1029 Ch/OV Moscow

Regarding Senator Kennedy’s request to the General Secretary of the Communist Party, Comrade Y.V. Andropov

Comrade Y.V. Andropov,

On 9-10 of this year, Senator Edward Kennedy’s close friend and trusted confidant J. Tunney was in Moscow.  The Senator charged Tunney to convey the following message, through confidential contacts, to the General Secretary of the Center Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Y. Andropov.

Senator Kennedy, like other rational people, is very troubled by the current state of Soviet-American relations.  Events are developing such that this relationship coupled with the general state of global affairs will make the situation even more dangerous.  The main reason for this is Reagan’s belligerence and his firm commitment to deploy new American middle range nuclear weapons within Western Europe.  According to Kennedy, the current threat is due to the President’s refusal to engage any modification on his politics.  He feels that his domestic standing has been strengthened because of the well publicized improvement of the economy: inflation has been greatly reduced, production levels are increasing as is overall business activity.  For these reasons, interest rates will continue to decline.  The White House has portrayed this in the media as the “success of Reaganomics.”

Naturally, not everything in the province of economics has gone according to Reagan’s plan.  A few well known economists and members of financial circles, particularly from the north eastern states, foresee certain hidden tendencies that many bring about a new economic crisis in the USA.  This could bring about the fall of the presidential campaign of 1984, which would benefit the Democratic Party.  Nevertheless, there are no secure assurances this will indeed develop.

The only real threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations.  These issues, according to the Senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign.

The movement advocating a freeze on nuclear arsenals of both countries continues to gain strength in the United States.  The movement is also willing to accept preparations, particularly from Kennedy, for its continued growth.  In political and influential circles of the country, including within Congress, the resistance to growing military expenditures is gaining strength.

However, according to Kennedy, the opposition to Reagan is still very weak.  Reagan’s adversaries are divided and the presentations they make are not fully effective.  Meanwhile, Reagan has the capabilities to effectively counter any propaganda.  In order to neutralize criticism that the talks between the USA and the USSR are non-constructive, Reagan will grandstand, but subjectively propagandistic.  At the same time, Soviet officials who speak about disarmament will be quoted out of context, silenced or groundlessly and whimsically discounted.  Although arguments and statements by officials of the USSR do appear in the press, it is important to note the majority of Americans do not read serious newspapers or periodicals.  Kennedy believes that, given the current state of affairs, and in the interest of peace, it would be prudent and timely to undertake the following steps to counter the militaristic politics of Reagan and his campaign to psychologically burden the American people.  In this regard, he offers the following proposals to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Y.V. Andropov:

  1. Kennedy asks Y.V. Andropov to consider inviting the senator to Moscow for a personal meeting in July of this year. The main purpose of the meeting, according to the senator, would be to arm Soviet officials with explanations regarding problems of nuclear disarmament so they may be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA. He would also like to inform you that he has planned a trip through Western Europe, where he anticipates meeting England’s Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and French President Mitterand in which he will exchange similar ideas regarding the same issues. If his proposals would be accepted in principle, Kennedy would send his representative to Moscow to resolve questions regarding organizing such a visit. Kennedy thinks the benefits of a meeting with Y.V. Andropov will be enhanced if he could also invite one of the well known Republican senators, for example, Mark Hatfield.  Such a meeting will have a strong impact on American and political circles in the USA (In March of 1982, Hatfield and Kennedy proposed a project to freeze the nuclear arsenals of the USA and USSR and published a book on the theme as well.)
  2. Kennedy believes that in order to influence Americans it would be important to organize in August-September of this year, televised interviews with Y.V. Andropov in the USA. A direct appeal by the General Secretary to the American people will, without a doubt, attract a great deal of attention and interest in the country. The senator is convinced this would receive the maximum resonance in so far as television is the most effective method of mass media and information.

If the proposal is recognized as worthy, then Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the largest television companies in the USA contact Y.V. Andropov for an invitation to Moscow for the interviews.  Specifically, the president of the board of directors of ABC, Elton Raul and television columnists Walter Cronkite or Barbara Walters could visit Moscow.  The Senator underlined the importance that this initiative should be seen as coming from the American side.

Furthermore, with the same purpose in mind, a series of televised interviews in the USA with lower level Soviet officials, particularly from the military would be organized.  They would also have an opportunity to appeal directly to the American people about the peaceful intentions of the USSR, with their own arguments about maintaining a true balance of power between the USSR and the USA in military terms. This issue is quickly being distorted by Reagan’s administration.  Kennedy asked to convey that this appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union is his effort to contribute a strong proposal that would root out the threat of nuclear war, and to improve Soviet-American relations, so that they define the safety of the world.  Kennedy is very impressed with the activities of Y.V. Andropov and other Soviet leaders, who expressed their commitment to heal international affairs, and improve mutual understandings between peoples.

The Senator underscored that he eagerly awaits a reply to his appeal, the answer to which may be delivered through Tunney.

Having conveyed Kennedy’s appeal to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Tunney also explained that Senator Kennedy has in the last few years actively made appearances to reduce the threat of war. Because he formally refused to partake in the election campaign of 1984, his speeches would be taken without prejudice as they are not tied to any campaign promises.  Tunney remarked that the Senator wants to run for president in 1988.  At that time, he will be 56 and his personal problems, which could hinder his standing, will be resolved (Kennedy has just completed a divorce and plans to remarry in the near future).

Taken together, Kennedy does not discount that during the 1984 campaign, the Democratic Party may officially turn to him to lead the fight against the Republicans and elect their candidate president. This would explain why he is convinced that none of the candidates today have a real chance at defeating Reagan.

We await instructions.

President of the committee,

Viktor Chebrikov

Well what do you think about that?

Again…, can you imagine a letter like this being unearthed that implicated a Republican, and the blood bath that would ensue?

It’s so obvious that the “biased, liberal, fake news media” has been “running interference” for democrats for the last 60+ years now, and it continues today.

It sure sounds to me like Senator Kennedy wants to conspire with the Russian leader against the President of the United States at the time, Ronald Reagan.

I don’t know how you call this anything less than treason.

Kevin Mooney, a staff writer for Crosswalk.com at the time, seems to agree with me.  In October of 2006, he wrote, “A KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan’s foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.”

In his letter, KGB head Viktor Chebrikov offered the USSR General Secretary Yuri Andropov his interpretation of Kennedy’s offer.  Former U.S. Senator John Tunney, a democrat from California, and Kennedy’s law school roommate at the University of Virginia, had traveled to Moscow on behalf of Kennedy to seek out a partnership with Andropov and other Soviet officials, Professor Kengor claimed in his book.

At one point after President Reagan left office, Tunney acknowledged that he had played the role of intermediary.  Tunney later told the London Times that he had made 15 separate trips to Moscow!

Kennedy’s attempt to partner with high-level Soviet officials never materialized, at least as far as we know.  Yuri Andropov died less than eight months receiving the letter about Kennedy from his KGB head, and it is not clear if the Soviet Communist Party chief ever acted on the Democrat senator’s proposal.  Andropov was succeeded by Mikhail Gorbachev.

“There’s a lot more to be found here,” Professor Kengor told Cybercast News Service. “This was a shocking revelation.”

Kevin Mooney, later an author at “The Daily Signal,” wrote in 2016, “Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy had “selfish political and ideological motives” when he made secret overtures to the Soviet Union’s spy agency during the Cold War to thwart then-President Ronald Reagan’s re-election…”

“In the 1980s, Kennedy was ‘terribly misguided’ and ‘a fool’ for seeing Reagan as a greater threat than either the leader of the Soviet Union or the head of its brutal secret police and intelligence agency,” political science professor and writer Paul Kengor told The Daily Signal.  “But what is clear from history is that Russian agents have worked with “dupes” such as Kennedy and other “naïve” Americans to influence U.S. policy to serve their own ends.”

So, what is the point of this article?

Here’s the point:

President Trump has been under a daily attack, for the better part of two years, from the “biased, liberal, fake news media” regarding some uncorroborated claims of collusion between President Trump and Russia.

In the case of Senator Kennedy, we have an actual letter describing his desires to conspire with a foreign government, and the “biased, liberal, fake news media” chose to, and chooses to, look the other way.

That’s the point.

Whose side are these guys on anyway?

Whoever’s side it is, it’s not “We the People’s” side, that’s for sure.
