“President” Biden knows how to stop these shootings!

Oh, really, Joe?

How long have shootings like this been going on, Sleepy Joe?

You have been a senator, a vice president, and now The President, going all the way back to 1973!

1973!!!

You have been in a position to do something to protect our school children for close to 50 years!

Again…, you have been in a position to do something to protect our school children for close to 50 years!!!

49 years, exactly.

49 years!

And now, suddenly, you have all the answers?

Excuse us all if we’re a little skeptical, “President” Joseph Robinette Biden.

Yes, the “R” in Joseph R. Biden stands for “Robinette!”

But that’s a whole different blog for another day.

Getting back to Sleepy Joe’s answers for these school shootings…, yes, my friends, here we are, again, sadly mourning the loss of innocent young lives, while searching for answers about what we can do to prevent this happening again.

And Incoherent Joe says we need to limit the types of guns people can have and tighten the background checking process used when people buy a gun.

Hmmm.

Are you referring to tightening the background checking process that your own son, Hunter, got past, by lying on the application (which is a federal crime for the rest of us poor slobs), but then was not charged with a crime (this is a felony, in fact), and did not suffer ANY consequences for skirting our gun laws?!

Is that what you’re proposing Creepy Joe?

I would like to harken back to my blog from March 26, 2021, titled “Hidin’ for Biden,” which reads:

According to Charlie McCarthy for Newsmax, “The Secret Service interceded on Hunter Biden’s behalf to quash evidence of a gun purchase.”

Oh, really?

Now why would they do that?

Can you, in your wildest dreams, ever imagine the Secret Service, or any other governmental organization for that matter, going out of its way to protect one of former President Trump’s children in this manner?

The answer, of course, is “no.”

What we have here is just another example of the legal double standards for those who are friends of “the swamp,” and those who aren’t.

Democrats, in other words.

“Based on information from two sources, Politico [a political news website] reported the Secret Service [which falls under the Department of Homeland Security] tried to obtain paperwork for a gun sale to [Hunter] Biden after the weapon was tossed into a trash can and then was missing.”

“The report surfaced on the day President Joe Biden was scheduled to hold his first solo press conference since taking office.”

I wonder if any of the press will ask him about it?

My guess would be, “over Jen Psaki’s dead body!”

“The Secret Service said it had no record of agents investigating the incident, and the president, not under protection at that time, said through a spokesperson he had no knowledge of Secret Service involvement.”

Really?

So, I guess either the Secret Service is lying, or some other agency was masquerading as the Secret Service.

Hmmm.

“Law enforcement officials said any involvement by the Secret Service on behalf of the Biden family or on its own initiative would be inappropriate in an incident already under investigation by Delaware State Police with the involvement of the FBI.”

“According to law enforcement officials and a copy of the police report obtained by Politico, Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law, Hallie, searched Hunter’s pickup truck and found a .38 revolver on Oct. 23, 2018.”

Interesting. That’s a lie, but go on.

“She then took her brother-in-law’s gun, wrapped it in a shopping bag, and threw it in a trash can behind a high-end grocery store [Oh, that’s okay, as long as it was a “high-end” grocery store!]. When she returned later to retrieve it, the gun was gone.”

First, it’s illegal to just throw a gun in the trash, which of course Ms. Hallie will face no repercussions for.

Second, why did she go back and go dumpster diving for it?

“With the trash can located across from a high school, Delaware police began investigating and were concerned the missing gun could be used in a crime.”

“Secret Service agents then approached the owner of the store where Hunter bought the gun.”

So, these supposed “Secret Service agents” must have had access to gun registration records, if they knew where he bought the gun.

“They requested the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people — one with firsthand knowledge of the episode, and the other briefed after the fact by a Secret Service agent.”

If these people already had all of the information regarding the sale of this gun, why did they want the store’s paperwork?

The ONLY reason they would want the store’s paperwork would be to erase any recorded tie of Hunter Biden to this gun.

But why would they have the need to do that, if Hunter Biden bought the gun legally?

“The store owner, Ron Palmieri, refused to hand over the paperwork. He suspected Secret Service officers wanted to hide ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said.”

Good job, Mr. Palmieri…, and that was a good guess, but it wasn’t the reason they wanted your paperwork.

“Palmieri eventually turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives [ATF], which oversees federal gun laws.”

I’m sure we’ll learn later that these papers have somehow been “misplaced” or “lost.”

“The gun was returned days later by an older man who regularly rummages through the grocery store’s trash to collect recyclable items, according to sources.”

Ha!

What are the odds of that?!

“No charges or arrests resulted from the incident.”

That’s odd.

Although, if anyone would have been arrested, it would have been the gun store owner, or the old dumpster diver who returned the gun.

Just sayin’.

“Although Joe Biden was not under Secret Service protection at the time, individual Secret Service agents at offices in Wilmington, Del., and Philadelphia informally monitored the former vice president’s security, according to one law enforcement official.”

I’m sorry, but how exactly does the Secret Service “informally monitor the former vice president’s security?”

And what would all of this have to do with the former vice president’s security, anyway?

I guess it depends on what all falls under the umbrella of “security.”

“As an example, the official said the Secret Service’s Wilmington office called the Delaware State Police in 2019 to arrange security for a public appearance by Joe Biden.”

“The Secret Service declined to confirm whether it had informal involvement in Biden’s security during that period.”

C’mon, now!  Did they “informally” monitor Biden’s “security” or didn’t they?

The answer is “yes” when that’s convenient, “no” when that’s convenient, and “we don’t know” when that’s convenient.

“A Delaware State Police spokesman responded to an inquiry about whether the Secret Service requested security for Biden during the period. ‘I have reached out to our sergeant who oversees the Executive Protection Unit with the Delaware State Police. He is unaware of any such requests or services provided,’ the spokesman said.”

So, again, someone is lying here.

Can you guess who?

I bet you can!

“In copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018, and obtained by Politico, Hunter Biden answered ‘no’ to a question on the transaction record that asks, ‘Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?’”

Ohhhh!

There it is!

There’s the reason the people who “informally” look out for former vice president Biden wanted to hide the fact that Hunter Biden bought this gun.

HE ILLEGALLY PURCHASED THE GUN!

“Hunter Biden was discharged from the Navy Reserve five years earlier after testing positive for cocaine. He and family members have spoken about his history of drug use.”

He was probably wasted when he bought it!

“Lying on the form is a felony, though prosecutions for it are rare.”

Yeah, “prosecutions for it are rare,” if, like I said, you’re a friend of “the swamp.”

Anyone else would be facing felony charges.

Believe that!

Would you like me to tell you what I believe happened here?

Okay, I’m assuming you do!

Here’s the deal, as Sleepy Joe would say.

Hunter Biden bought the gun for whatever reason, and had second thoughts about it, since he lied in order to get it. If he didn’t actually have the gun, no one could ever really tie it to him…, at least in the world he lives in.

So, he asked Hallie to toss it into a dumpster, which she did.

After thinking about it for a while, I’m sure they became worried someone would find it, use it in a crime, and it would then be traced back to Hunter.

So, Hunter talked Hallie into going back and retrieving the gun, so they could dispose of it in a different and safer way, for him.

When she went back to the “high-end” store and couldn’t find it in the trash, they didn’t know what to do.

Ha!

You’re brilliant, Hunter!

What an idiot?!

A real chip off the old block!

Then, when the old guy turned-up (my hero) and turned the gun in, that’s when the fun started.

That’s when the gun was traced back to Hunter, and the “Secret Service” had to get involved.

“Neither George Mesires, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, nor Hallie Biden responded to requests for comment.”

No surprise there!

And, of course, the mainstream, democrat propaganda, media won’t touch this with a ten-foot pole.

By the way…, what ever happened to the investigation into Hunter’s laptop, and that whole money from China and money from Russia for the Biden family thing?

I’m sure we’ll find out where Jimmy Hoffa is buried before we hear anything else about the Bidens as a result of these “investigation.”

*****************************

So, there we have the story behind Hunter’s illegal gun purchase, and the effectiveness of these background checks.

When Sleepy Joe starts talking about background checks, why doesn’t anyone in the media question him, regarding his son’s experience with a background check?

Just sayin’.

So, please don’t start lecturing us all, Illegitimate Joe, about what we need to do to curb these school shootings. You’ve been in a position to “do” something for decades, and, obviously, you haven’t done one damn thing that has made any difference at all!

Please see my recent blog for some real answers to this school shooting problem.

Let’s protect our children from these shooters first, then we can look at addressing some of the underlying reasons for the occurrences of these shootings.

Let’s insist, from our representatives, that they actually address the school shootings problem, as I have suggested. Or, we’ll be right back here, having this same discussion all too soon, and more students will have lost their lives due to more inaction by our government on every level.

The liberal mantra is “Do as I say, not as I do!”

Over the Labor Day weekend, 35 people were shot in the city of Chicago, and seven people were killed as a result of gun violence.

Unless you were tuned into Fox News you probably didn’t hear about this.

That’s because this, of course, was ignored by democrats and their partners in crime, the “biased, liberal propaganda, fake news media,” because Chicago already has many of the gun laws which are being proposed by democrats to solve gun violence nationally.

chitown 6

chitown 9

Another example of “propaganda by omission.”

According to Adam Shaw of Fox News, “Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot clashed with Sen. Ted Cruz over the latest burst of gun violence in the city, claiming Monday that Chicago’s decades-long crime problem is actually the fault of Republican-run states like Indiana – because they don’t have ‘commonsense gun legislation’ in place.”

Ohhhh, riiiiight.  I get it.  Of course…, Chicago’s crime rate and gun violence problems are due to the Republicans in Indiana!

Makes sense to me…, NOT!

I guess you have to have some sense before you can have any common sense, Ms. Lightfoot.

She then added that Senator Cruz should, ‘“Keep our name out of your mouth.’”

Oooooh.  That sounds like a threat!

chitown 5

It also sounds like Lori Lightfoot (Seriously?) is trying to deny Senator Cruz his right of freedom of speech.

Do as we say, not as we do.

It sounds like she had “republicans” in her mouth.

It sounds like she had “Indiana” in her mouth.

Do as we say, not as we do.

chitown 10

“The retort came after Cruz, R-Texas, tweeted that ‘gun control doesn’t work’ and pointed to the Democrat-run city as evidence that ‘disarming law-abiding citizens isn’t the answer.’ His tweet referenced an article reporting that at least 35 people were shot in Chicago during Labor Day weekend amid a continuing crime wave in the city.”

‘“Stopping violent criminals—prosecuting & getting them off the street—BEFORE they commit more violent crimes is the most effective way to reduce murder rates,’ Cruz tweeted. ‘Let’s protect our citizens.’”

Lightfoot, who was elected mayor of Chicago earlier this year, then tweeted something about Indiana, Wisconsin and Mississippi and recovered firearms.

chitown 2

chitown 14

chitown 3

Now she’s got “Wisconsin” and Mississippi” in her mouth as well.

Mississippi?  Really?  What the hell does Mississippi have to do with Chicago?

Do as we say, not as we do.

Don’t you know it’s everyone and anyone’s fault EXCEPT the poor helpless people of Chicago.

chitown 4

She then went on to call Republicans ‘cowards’ and blah, blah, blah and blah, blah, blah.

If this feud goes on much longer, we’re bound to see the race card come out!

‘“When @tedcruz and the @gop dismiss common sense gun policies, they disrespect victims and their families, who deserve to live without pain and fear,’ she [Lori Lightfoot] added.”

chitown 11

chitown 12

Yes, Ms. Lightfoot…, “disrespected victims and their families,” in the city of Chicago, do “deserve to live without pain and fear.”

The people of Chicago also deserve more than the poor excuse for a mayor you are.

ALL ABOARD!  All aboard the liberal “crazy train!”

Yes…, it’s all aboard the “liberal crazy train…,” again!

The liberals/democrats have lost their minds when it comes to President Trump.

crazy 8

Every time I hear their latest rounds of accusations, name calling and profanity laced “stupidness…,” I don’t think they can get much worse…, but then manage to up their “crazy ante!”

Now, regarding the Dayton and El Paso shootings we hear:

“NBC News contributor raises suspicions over Trump’s order to fly US flags half-staff until Aug. 8,” according to Lukas Mikelionis of Fox News”

“NBC News contributor Frank Figliuzzi said Tuesday that President Trump’s decision to fly American flags half-staff until Aug. 8– in response to the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings– could be seen by white supremacists as a nod to Adolf Hitler.”

What?!

“Figliuzzi, a former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, made the claim during an MSNBC broadcast with Brian Williams. Trump issued the order on Sunday ‘as a mark of solemn respect’ for the victims of the shootings.”

‘“The President’s either getting really good advice and rejecting it, or he’s getting really bad advice,’ he [Figliuzzi] said. ‘We have to understand the adversary and the threat we’re dealing with, and if we don’t understand how they think we’ll never understand how to counter them, so it’s the little things and the language and messaging that matters.’”

‘“The president says that we will fly our flags at half-mast until August 8, that’s 8/8.  Now I’m not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that’s being demonstrated by the White House,’ Figliuzzi continued. ‘The numbers 8/8 are very significant in the neo-Nazi and the white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter “H” is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them, the numbers 8/8 stand for “Heil Hitler.”’”

They say that Mr. Figliuzzi, is “a former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence.”  I would have to agree that his statements are “counter-intelligent!”

Cuckoo, cuckoo!

crazy 1

Please keep in mind that President Trump said, “Our nation is overcome with shock, horror and sorrow.  We are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil.  In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy.  These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hatred has no place in America.”

How you can translate these words into a “Hitler love fest” is beyond me.

crazy 2

Next, according to Joseph A. Wulfson of Fox News, “MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace issued an apology Tuesday evening over remarks made during a panel discussion stemming from a guest’s suggestion that President Trump has been ‘talking about exterminating Latinos.’”

Again…, What?!

“On Monday, Wallace led a conversation where USA Today opinion columnist Raul Reyes slammed Trump’s remarks condemning white supremacy since he had ‘basically declared open season on Latinos’ during his entire presidency.”

‘“President Obama used the power of the presidency to try to pass comprehensive immigration reform, with the Latino community, Latino leaders, at the table. You now have a president, as you said, talking about exterminating Latinos.’”

Cuckoo, cuckoo!

crazy 1

How this “talking head” can extrapolate ANYTHING President Trump has said into him wanting to “exterminate Latinos” is pure craziness or an intentional attempt at pathetic misinformation of the highest degree.

crazy 3

“After her remarks went viral on Tuesday, the ‘Deadline: White House’ host took to Twitter to clarify that she ‘misspoke.’”

‘“I misspoke about Trump calling for an extermination of Latinos. My mistake was unintentional and I’m sorry,’ Wallace said.”

I’m sorry Ms. Wallace…, but you didn’t misspeak…, your comments WERE completely intentional…, and you are totally NOT sorry.

You are simply a liar and you’re crazy.

crazy 7

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, ‘“Morning Joe’ host claims Trump ‘seems to want’ white nationalist terror attacks.”

“MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski Tuesday shockingly floated the idea that President Trump — despite his speech denouncing white supremacy on the previous day — actually wanted white nationalists to carry out attacks like the mass shooting that left more than 20 dead in El Paso, Texas on Saturday.”

‘“You have to ask the question, Joe, and I’ll ask you, isn’t it okay to deduce that at this point this is what he wants?’ Brzezinski asked on ‘Morning Joe.’”

Cuckoo, cuckoo!

crazy 1

‘“He is inciting hatred, inciting violence, inciting racism if he doesn’t unequivocally call it off and say, this is wrong and we stand together against this and we are doing this, this and this to help fight hate crimes.’”

‘“I mean this is a president who seems to want these things to happen. How else can this be explained?’ she asked.”

“Rather than pushing back on her claims, husband and co-host Joe Scarborough piled onto the idea that Trump was ‘inciting hatred.’ ‘As you know, he’s inciting hatred now and he’s been inciting hatred up until yesterday because he sees that as a good political strategy,’ Scarborough said.”

crazy 9

AGAIN…, please keep in mind that President Trump said, “Our nation is overcome with shock, horror and sorrow.  We are outraged and sickened by this monstrous evil.  In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy.  These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hatred has no place in America.”

What are Mr. and Mrs. Brzezinski talking about?!

The only way to describe their remarks is by saying they are delusional.

They are obviously living in some strange “Trump derangement syndrome” fantasy world, and they have a show on MSNBC which broadcasts their craziness on a daily basis.

crazy 10

Then, lastly (at least for now), we have Mr. “one percent in the polls” Beto O’Rourke.

According to Joseph A. Wulfsohn of Fox News, “Over the past several days, O’Rourke has slammed the president, who he has placed blame for the massacre.  The former congressman declared that Trump is a ‘racist’ and compared his language to Nazi Germany’s Third Reich.”

Cuckoo, cuckoo!

crazy 1

‘“That is a leader reveling in the hatred and the racism of the people that he purports to serve and to lead,’ O’Rourke said Monday.”

It seems it doesn’t matter what The President actually says.

No matter what The President says, the democrats have this narrative they attribute to The President which highlights racism and hatred.

crazy 3

They just keep spouting this stuff with no apparent concern for the truth.

As always, the democrats’ only concern is bad-mouthing President Trump, regardless of the divisiveness or hatefulness that creates.

It’s just CRAZY!

Well, lo and behold…, the Dayton shooter was a lefty!

Well you don’t say!

I haven’t really heard a lot about that, or laying the blame on for the Dayton shootings at the feet of liberal ideologies or any democrat politicians.

Now why is that?

In my blog of August 6th, “President Trump’s response to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton is ‘spot on,’” I say:

“Is it just me, or is ‘the media’ always quick to pursue the racism angle when a white perpetrator or a conservative is involved, but completely the opposite when a non-white perpetrator or a liberal leaning individual is involved?”

“The Dayton shooter appears to be a liberal whacko…, but they’re keeping that on the ‘down low.’”

“Just sayin’.”

Now we see The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) chiming in with the headline, “The Dayton killer was a left-winger, but don’t blame Elizabeth Warren.”

dayton 1

Oh…, okay…, please, continue to tell us what to think this guy.

Do you recall seeing the headline somewhere that said, “The El Paso killer was a white supremacist racist, but don’t blame President Trump.”

No.., you couldn’t recall that headline…, because there wasn’t one.

double standard meme Luxury 20 best LIBERAL HYPOCRISY images on Pinterest

Oh…, and the way, this opinion article in the WSJ could not even be attributed to an author, or authors, but was credited to the innocuous Wall Street Journal Editorial Board.

Such journalistic bravery!

The article goes on to say that the “Police are seeking a motive to the Dayton mass shooting.”

Really?

No kidding?

You don’t say?

“Police in Dayton say they’re still seeking a motive for Connor Betts’ shooting spree that killed nine people, including his sister. But whatever turns up, we hope no one blames Elizabeth Warren.”

Oh no…, of course not.

Pathetic.

dayton 3

“We say that because the news site Heavy.com, which gained access to Betts’ Twitter account before it was taken down, reports that his politics appear to have been left of center.”

Well, at least we’re lucky enough that this news site managed to gain access before “Betts’ Twitter account was taken down,” or Betts would have been “spun” into being a conservative somehow!

“The shooter recently tweeted that he would ‘happily’ vote for Senator Warren.  His Twitter profile also read: ‘he/him/anime fan/metalhead/leftist/i’m going to hell and i’m not coming back.’ In December last he wrote: ‘This is America: Guns on every corner, guns in every house, no freedom but to kill.’ A month before that, he wrote: ‘Vote blue for gods sake.’”

After reading this, the WSJ says, “His politics appear to have been left of center.”

Ya’ think?!

Yeah…, I’d say “his politics, not only “appear” to be left of center…, they are definitely left of center!

The WSJ goes on to say, “The Dayton shooter’s leftist ravings are notable only because the media and Democratic politicians have drawn a straight line between the El Paso shooter’s anti-immigrant “manifesto” and Donald Trump and the Republican Party.”

Ha!

Yes…, isn’t it a shame that we would now expect the same correlations to be drawn to in the liberal direction?!

Who would have thought that one of the shooters would be a whacko lefty, exposing our unfair treatment of conservatives everywhere and President Trump?!

The WSJ then adds, “After so many recent mass shootings, it is disheartening to see how quickly the issue of these two highly disturbed shooters was overwhelmed by the urge to assign political causation.”

There was actually twice as many shootings during the Obama years, but I don’t recall any “urge to assign political causation” in President Obama’s direction.

dayton 7

“The answer to how he [the Dayton shooter] or the El Paso shooter found their way from fantasy to murder won’t be found in pointless spitting matches between the left and right over whose politics bears the blame.”

Yes we know.

“The pointless spitting matches” are only pointless when “the left” can be “spit at” as well.

C’mon New York Times!  You’re letting the news get in the way of the party line propaganda!

Gerren Keith Gaynor of Fox News reports that, “New York Times headline of Trump’s remarks on mass shootings ignites backlash.”

“A New York Times headline about President Trump’s remarks on the recent mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton drew condemnation online– including some Democratic presidential candidates– and was subsequently changed late Monday.”

nyt 11

They changed their headline?

Wow!  That never happens.  That headline must have been pretty vile or grossly inaccurate.

What exactly was the headline?

“The newspaper summarized Trump’s comments, in which he denounced hate and white supremacy, with the headline “Trump Urges Unity vs. Racism” on the front page of its first edition.”

Huh?

That was the headline they were forced to change?

That headline was completely accurate and unbiased.  That was exactly what occurred.  President Trump urged for unity against racism, denouncing hate and white supremacy groups.

And therein lies the problem.

How can the democrats’ fairy tale narrative of The President being a racist be true if he is reported as being against racism and denouncing hate and white supremacy groups?

C’mon New York Times!

Get with the program!

Did you forget you’re a propaganda rag that works in concert with the democrats?!

nyt 8

It seems that in a moment of weakness you actually reported “the news” there.

Shame on you!

“A photograph of Tuesday’s first edition was tweeted out by journalist Nate Silver Monday night and was quickly slammed by critics who accused The Gray Lady of inaccurately representing Trump’s comments.”

“The Gray Lady?”

More like “Gray Lady Down!”

nyt 9

“Some Twitter users threatened to cancel their subscriptions and urged others to do the same.”

Really?!

Did you know that “some twitter users” can be found to be doing virtually anything?

Anyway…, I digress.

‘“I canceled my subscription,’ tweeted author and CNN contributor Joan Walsh, adding, ‘I can’t keep rewarding such awful news judgement.’”

Let’s get one thing clear…, Joan Walsh is a liar.  She didn’t cancel anything.  And by “awful news judgment” she means diverting from the “fake news,” liberal narrative.  She is associated with CNN after all.

nyt 4

“Prominent Democrats in Washington also took aim at the Times, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”

‘“Let this front page serve as a reminder of how white supremacy is aided by – and often relies upon – the cowardice of mainstream institutions,’ the freshman congresswoman tweeted.”

What?

Please explain to me how “white supremacy is aided” by reporting that The President is calling for unity against racism and white supremacy groups?

nyt 3

These democrats are sooo confused and sooo disingenuous that it is almost beyond commenting on.

nyt 1

“Presidential candidates, many of whom blamed Trump’s rhetoric for the El Paso, Texas, shooting that left at least 22 dead, also decried the headline.”

“New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand tweeted, ‘That’s not what happened.’”

No, Kirsten…, that IS exactly what happened.

‘“Lives literally depend on you doing better, NYT. Please do,’ wrote Sen. Cory Booker.”

Thank you for your take on the matter “Spartacus!”

I believe we all can “do better…,” including you Cory.

“A photograph of the Times’ second edition of the front page hours later revealed that the headline had been changed to ‘Assailing Hate but Not Guns.’ Its website also showed a similar headline: ‘Trump Condemns Bigotry but Doesn’t Call for Major New Guns Laws.’”

nyt 6

I’m surprised these new headlines were even deemed acceptable.

There is a negative twist to them now, but there is still a bit of positivity there about The President.

“Times spokeswoman Eileen Murphy acknowledged in a statement the original headline was problematic.”

“Problematic?”

The headline was “problematic,” but it wasn’t inaccurate, huh?

‘“The original headline was flawed and was changed for all editions of the paper following the first edition,’ the statement read. ‘The headline in question never appeared online, only in the first print edition.’”

The headline was “problematic” and “flawed,” but it wasn’t inaccurate?

Gee…, that reaction to the original headline would seem to be a metaphor for the democrats and their co-conspirators, the mainstream media!

“Problematic” and “flawed.”

President Trump’s response to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton is “spot on.”

President Trump’s response to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton is “spot on,” in my opinion.

And the democrats’ reaction to his remarks are what I would have expected as well…, exploitative, hypocritical and disingenuous.

Oh…, and foul-mouthed tweets contributed by democrat presidential candidates, Cory Booker, Tim Ryan and Beto O’Rourke.

According to Brooke Singman of Fox News, “President Trump called Monday for reforms at the intersection of mental health and gun laws — including so-called ‘red flag laws’ to take guns from those deemed a public risk — in the wake of back-to-back mass shootings over the weekend that left at least 30 people dead.”

“In unequivocal terms, the president also condemned white supremacy, responding to reports that the shooter in El Paso wrote a racist manifesto.”

Is it just me, or is “the media” always quick to pursue the racism angle when a white perpetrator or a conservative is involved, but completely the opposite when a non-white perpetrator or a liberal leaning individual is involved?

The Dayton shooter appears to be a liberal whacko…, but they’re keeping that on the “down low.”

Just sayin’.

‘“In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy,’ President Trump said, standing beside Vice President Pence. ‘These sinister ideologies must be defeated.  Hatred has no place in America.’”

Spoken like a true racist…, right Bernie?

response 1

“Senator Bernie Sanders, asked that ‘Trump please stop the racist anti-immigrant rhetoric. Stop the hatred in this country which is creating the kind of violence we see.’”

It seems to me that it is the democrats who are promoting divisiveness between the races, cultural groups, and socioeconomic groups for their own benefit.

This statement by Bernie Sanders is just another example of it.

response 9

Then we have democrat presidential candidate, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, saying ‘“This is white nationalist terrorism.’”

‘“We need to acknowledge that this is a problem,’ Buttigieg said, claiming white nationalism has been ‘condoned at the highest levels’ in Washington.

Excuse me, Mayor Pete, but the only group in Washington that has a history of condoning white supremacy are the democrats.

My two best examples would be former Senator Robert Byrd and former Supreme Court Justice, Hugo Black.

Robert Byrd served in the Senate for 52 years, and was referred to as “her mentor” by Hillary Clinton!

According to Richard Stockton of ATI (All That’s Interesting website), “Byrd never once lost an election. Unfortunately, that last record includes the time he was unanimously elected Exalted Cyclops of the KKK chapter he founded and built into a major force.”

By 1942, “Byrd had already recruited at least 150 of West Virginia’s power elite into a Klavern (a local KKK unit) with himself at its head. In 1952, with the winds of change already blowing, Byrd claimed in an interview to have quickly become disillusioned with the KKK, and to have dropped out by 1943. Even if that account is true, it doesn’t explain why, in 1946, Byrd wrote the following to the Grand Wizard: ‘The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation.’”

Regarding former Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black, “It was said of Black that in his youth he dressed in white robes and scared black folks, in his later years he dressed up in black robes and scared white folks.”

“Black started out as a country lawyer who defended a Klansman accused of killing a Catholic priest in what was an obvious hate crime. Soon after, Black joined the Alabama KKK.  Later, Black was elected to the Senate.”

“Black was an enthusiastic supporter of [President Franklin] Roosevelt, and in 1937, Black’s loyalty was rewarded with an appointment to the Supreme Court.”

“President Trump also tweeted about the possibility of ‘linking background check legislation to immigration reform.’ However, he said he is ‘open and ready to listen to ideas that will actually work.’”

Just remember, democrats are only interested in ideas that actually work on getting them re-elected, not ideas which would address an actual problem in our society.

shootings 1

“Among his list of proposals, Trump called for reforms to mental health laws ‘to better identify mentally disturbed individuals who may commit acts of violence,’ adding that we must ‘make sure those people not only get treatment but when necessary, involuntary confinement.’”

‘“Mental illness and hatred pulls the trigger, not the gun,’ Trump said.”

response 6

“The president also called for “cultural” changes, citing violent video games…, further, he called for policing the ‘dark recesses of the Internet ‘in a bid to catch mass murderers before they act.  We must also do a better job at identifying and acting on early warning signs,’ [President] Trump said. ‘We must stop the glorification of violence in our society. This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace…It is too easy for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this and it has to begin immediately,’ he added”

“Within minutes of completing his address, 2020 Democratic presidential candidates were slamming his remarks as insufficient.”

‘“The president is weak. And wrong. White supremacy is not a mental illness, and guns are a tool that white supremacists use to fulfill their hate,’ Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., tweeted.”

White supremacy may not be a mental illness, Cory, but liberalism sure appears to be!

response 5

“The attacks have revived the national debate over how to tackle gun violence, with many Democrats demanding the Senate return from recess to address the issue. A number of Democratic lawmakers and presidential candidates have also accused the president of fueling racial tensions with his rhetoric.”

Only when you are viewing his remarks through your own political and racially focused set of lenses.

Do we overreact to mass shootings?

I don’t think so.

I believe we react appropriately…, it’s the reaction of what we should do about these shootings is where some of us tend to overact, and even exploit the circumstances.

This last weekend we saw at least 30 people die to shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

Yahoo Lifestyle  reporter, Elena Sheppard, reported that, “Famed astrophysicist and TV personality Neil deGrasse Tyson has shared his reaction to this weekend’s double mass shootings, and people are outraged.”

Tyson was “slammed” for his reaction to the mass shootings reactions.

“Tyson argued that more people are killed by the flu and car accidents than mass shootings, adding, ‘often our emotions respond more to spectacle than to data.’”

Tyson tweeted:

‘“In the past 48hrs, the USA horrifically lost 34 people to mass shootings.’

‘On average, across any 48hrs, we also lose…’

‘500 to Medical errors’

‘300 to the Flu’

‘250 to Suicide’

‘200 to Car Accidents’

‘40 to Homicide via Handgun’

‘Often our emotions respond more to spectacle than to data.’

— Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson)  August 4, 2019’”

In addition, every 48 hours in the U.S.:

About 3,200 people will die from cancer.

40 U.S. Veterans will commit suicide.

380 people will die from drug overdoses.

5,000 abortions will be performed.

6 women die from domestic violence.

69,000 report domestic abuse or violence.  (That’s only what’s reported)

11 people will die as a result of gang violence.

9 people will die from knife wounds.

500 people will die from Alzheimer’s.

There are 483 alcohol related deaths.

57,500 people come into our country illegally and undocumented.  (And that’s only the ones we know about! The actual number coming in could be twice as many!)

And remember, these numbers happen all over again EVERY 48 hours in our country.

The fact of the matter is that bad things happen to good people all of the time.

We just have to accept that fact and realize that no matter what we do, many of these occurrences are not preventable.

We can take reasonable steps to minimize them as much as possible, but we just can’t eliminate them from occurring at all.

We can make laws banning this and banning that, but people break laws all of the time.

Killing all of those people this past weekend was already against the law, wasn’t it?

I guess, in this case, I’m going to have to agree with Mr. Tyson.

It was a sad occurrence, no doubt…, but we have equally sad, and even sadder things occurring every day, over and over again, 24/7/365, that deserve more of our attention, and our outrage, as well.
