Dumb, dumber, dumbest!

I’m sorry, Leslie Marshall, for Fox News, but I’m referring to an opinion piece you recently wrote, titled, “Leslie Marshall: Hillary Clinton endorsement of Biden is bad news for Trump – Democrats uniting to defeat him.”

First, a little bit about Ms. Marshall. Per Fox News, “Leslie Marshall joined Fox News Channel as a contributor in 2009; providing analysis on both political and social issues from a liberal point of view. A nationally syndicated talk host, whose program, ‘The Leslie Marshall Show’ can be heard on radio, stream, ‘Tune In,’ ‘The Progressive Voices Radio Network,’ and ‘The Armed Forces Radio Network.’”

The Armed Forces Radio Network? Talk about liberal propaganda fed to a captive audience. I guess someone should be looking into the selected programming for our Armed Forces, and at least ensure that conservative voices get equal time.

“The swamp” [the deep state] never sleeps.

Anyway…, back to our confused and/or propagandistic Ms. Marshall.

According to Leslie Marshall, “Hillary Clinton’s endorsement Tuesday of former Vice President Joe Biden in the November presidential election is just the latest sign of Democratic unity that will be needed to send President Trump into political retirement.”

Hillary Clinton endorsing Creepy Joe Biden is an absolute journalistic bombshell, Ms. Marshall!

NO KIDDING!

WHO ELSE WAS HILLARY GOING TO ENDORSE…, OPRAH? MICKEY MOUSE? PRINCE HARRY? ALEC BALDWIN? WHOOPI GOLDBERG?

I mean, c’mon…, this isn’t news at all.

Marshall continues by saying, “Biden has also picked up the endorsements of many other prominent Democrats, including candidates who ran against him for the presidential nomination this year, former President Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, and even Rep Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez of New York – one of the most progressive members of Congress.”

OH REEEEALLY?!

You actually mean to tell me that, “Biden has also picked up the endorsements of many other prominent Democrats?”

AMAZING!

AGAIN, WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT?!

She continues, “The endorsement of Biden by Clinton – a former first lady, senator and secretary of state – may not get Biden many additional votes, but it’s likely to help him raise the millions of dollars he needs to defeat Trump.”

Actually, Ms. Marshall, the endorsement of Creepy Joe by Hillary will probably end up costing him votes, and rich democrats were going to pour money into Biden’s campaign regardless of Hillary’s endorsement.

Stating the obvious and now stating inaccuracies are not good traits for a journalist to project.

“Trump’s continuing insulting attacks against Clinton – including regularly referring to her as “Crooked Hillary” and falsely accusing her of wrongdoing – are strong motivators to her to work for the defeat of a president she clearly views as unfit for the nation’s highest office.”

“FALSELY ACCUSING HER OF WRONGDOING?!”

Excuse me…, please give me a minute while I catch my breath.

“Additionally, Clinton and Biden worked well together in President Obama’s administration and hold similar policy positions that differ dramatically from Trump’s. The sober and fact-based leadership styles of the two Democrats are far more similar to each other than to the erratic and unpredictable shoot-from-the-hip style favored by Trump.”

Yes…, Biden’s and Clinton’s anti-America, pro new world order, Pro-Russia and Pro-China positions differ dramatically from President Trump’s positions.

“It’s a safe bet that with or without the Clinton endorsement, Biden could count on strong support from Democratic voters in November.”

Are you kidding right now with this comment, Ms. Marshall?

“Many independents and even some Republicans want to see Trump defeated. For example, former Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona told The Washington Post he will not be voting for Trump and hinted at supporting Biden.”

All I have to say to this comment is, these “independents” need to climb down off of their fence and pick a side. Either you’re pro-America (Republican/conservative) or anti-America (Democrat/liberal). It’s a pretty straight forward choice.

And yes…, RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) like Jeff Flake and Mitt Romney will probably not be voting for President Trump.

Again…, is there any news here?

Marshall continues by informing us that, “Biden needs money for ads on TV, the web, radio, print publications and direct mail. TV ads are expensive and particularly crucial now that many people are homebound and watching more TV than usual due to shelter-in-place orders imposed to combat the coronavirus pandemic.”

So, you’re saying that Creepy Joe needs money to run ads on TV and radio?

And that these ads are expensive?

Who exactly subscribes to your opinion newsletter, Ms. Marshall…, people that have recently come out of decades-long comas? People who have been living off the grid since World War II? Mindless democrats?

I guess I’m going to have to go with mindless democrats.

She concludes her remarks by saying, “A lot of surprises can happen between now and November.”

Thank you for that bit of wisdom, Ms. Marshall.

And, “I don’t know if Joe Biden will be our next president, but if I were a Trump supporter I’d be very nervous about the prospect.”

To this I would say, right back at ya Ms. Marshall…, right back at ya.

I don’t normally berate articles that I refer to in my blogs, but this piece truly stands out.

I would venture to say that the article by Leslie Marshall, here, could have been written by any naïve and/or confused high school newspaper reporter…, with all due respect to naïve and/or confused high school newspaper reporters.

Do they have newspapers in middle school?

The democrats are dealt some heat by Hall of Fame pitcher Goose Gossage!

As a Milwaukee Brewers fan, I can remember back to the days when the Brewers would be playing the Yankees and their “closer,” Goose Gossage, would be called in from their bullpen to finish us off.

Gossage would calmly stroll to the pitcher’s mound to the tune, “Bad to the Bone,” by George Thorogood and the Destroyers, and the crowd chanting “Goose, Goose, Goose.”

He was “bad to the bone,” and he normally would finish us off in short order.

Well, he’s retired from baseball now, but he’s still firing fastballs of the truth at a new team…, The Washington Liberals!”

Ryan Gaydos of Fox News reports that, “[Hall of Fame closer Goose] Gossage, who has gotten political over the last few years and has been an outspoken supporter of Trump, told NJ.com he wants to see some of the top Democrats go to jail.”

‘“I’m hoping and I’m praying that these (expletive) go off the cliff to never be heard from again,’ Gossage said. ‘All of them! Nancy Pelosi and that lying Chuck Schumer. And then (expletive) Robert Mueller and the (expletive) Mueller Report, and the FBI … I hope some of them go to jail!’”

It seems that Goose is venting his frustration regarding our apparent two-tiered justice system, which sees liberal politicians and various members of “the swamp” get away with just about anything, while the rest of us are held to the letter of the law.

“Gossage, who reminisced with the newspaper about the life of Hank Steinbrenner, said it’s Trump who can be the only person to replace Steinbrenner as owner of the Yankees. He also said he was an unabashed Trump supporter.”

“The former Yankees pitcher told NJ.com he felt Trump was being unfairly criticized for how he handled the coronavirus pandemic.”

That’s true, Goose, but it shouldn’t be of any surprise.

President Trump is unfairly criticized on a daily basis, for whatever he does, by the democrats and the liberal propaganda, fake news media.

‘“It’s just lies, lies, BS, BS,’ he said. ‘They don’t even respect the election. The majority of liberals still think the Russians got him in office. They all want him out of power.’”

“He added that he believes Democrats want the economy to be in the gutter in order for Joe Biden to claim the White House in November.”

‘“I cannot even fathom that they would go to this length, but this is the last straw,’ Gossage said. ‘Where would you attack Trump? In the economy. That’s all they have. And let me tell you something, people are (expletive) dying and the liberals could give a rat’s a-s.’”

At this point, Goose, there isn’t any length the democrats won’t go to.

‘“Our civil liberties are under siege. And Biden, he can’t put two (expletive) sentences together!’”

“Gossage said he was a Democrat who voted for former President Barack Obama and that Trump ‘earned’ his vote during the 2016 election.”

“Gossage [who] pitched from 1972 to 1994…, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. He was a World Series champion in 1978 with the Yankees, was a nine-time All-Star and finished in the top five in Cy Young voting four times.”

Goose’s new theme song should be “Sad but true,” by Metallica!

According to Dom Calicchio of Fox News, “The U.S. presidential election is still seven months away but an MSNBC host is already suggesting that Democrat Joe Biden set up a ‘shadow government’ against the Trump administration amid the coronavirus outbreak.”

“Stephanie Ruhle pitched the idea Wednesday during an interview with Jim Messina, who served as deputy chief of staff of operations under former President Barack Obama.”

Uh, helloooo Stephanie…, the democrats already have a “shadow government” set up…, it’s called “the deep state,” or “the swamp.”

Unless you’re calling for a Civil War type of situation, like when the Confederates established their own separate government.

Is that what you’re calling for Stephanie?

You said Biden should “set up a shadow government against the Trump administration.”

You do realize that President Trump’s administration is our administration…, The United States’ administration, don’t you?

Are you proposing some kind of treasonous type plot, Stephanie…, ala “the lovers,” Peter Strzok and Lisa Page?

The most important election of our lifetimes…, WAS THE LAST ONE!

Matt Flegenheimer for The New York Times asks, “What if the Most Important Election of Our Lifetimes Was the Last One?”

My response to him would be the last election, in 2016, was definitely the most important election of our lifetimes.

The election of 2016 showed that the people who really care about our country could still win a national election, regardless of the blatant liberal propaganda media and the millions of fraudulent votes fabricated by the liberal democrats.

The election of 2016 put an end to the appeasement of Muslim terrorists and those who support them.

The election of 2016 put an end to the wholesale shipment of American jobs overseas.

The election of 2016 put an end to the allowance of virtually every foreign country taking advantage of us via unfair trade agreements and policies.

The election of 2016 ended our dependence on oil from the Middle East.

The election of 2016 brought manufacturing back to America, most importantly of steel, which was a national defense concern.

The election of 2016 has put a finger in the dyke of the seemingly never ending leak of illegal and dangerous immigrants into our country.

The election of 2016 has brought to light many abuses perpetrated by the FBI, the DOJ, the CIA and more, which would have never even been known had Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election.

The election of 2016 forced the liberal propaganda, fake news media to finally, and unquestionably, show themselves for who they are…, an arm of the democrat party, an enemy of our country an enemy of the American people.

The election of 2016 short circuited the unconstitutional UN-Affordable Care Act, better known as ObamaCare, and the attempted government takeover of our private healthcare system.

The election of 2016 brought long awaited reforms which improved the performance of the VA system and the overall treatment of our veterans.

The election of 2016 resulted in the rebuilding and upgrading of our military across the board.

The election of 2016 also resulted in the slashing of thousands and thousands of suffocating and obstructing federal regulations.

Other than that, the election of 2016 wasn’t important at all!

Flegenheimer continues, “Politics runs on superlative: the best plan, the biggest rally, the most votes.”

“And one trope [a figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression] has proved most enduring of all, repeated each campaign season with well-practiced conviction.”

Hold on a minute.

What is it with these “reporters” from The Times and The Post? Why do they always feel the need to interject some word that no one ever uses?

I’m sure Flegenheimer spent quite a bit of time coming up with that “elitist word of the day.”

Anyway…, back to the one “figurative or metaphorical use of a word or expression which has proved most enduring of all, and repeated each campaign season with well-practiced conviction.”

‘“This is the most important election of our lifetimes,’ Bernie Sanders said of 2020 last month.”

‘“The most important election of our lives,’ Pete Buttigieg agreed in February.”

‘“Maybe the most important election,’ Joe Biden ruled last year, hedging slightly, ‘no matter how young or old you are.’”

“Maybe. But what if they’re wrong this time? What if the other clichés — of dice cast and Rubicons [defining moments] crossed [there we go again] — have finally overwritten this one? [I actually think he meant to say ‘dies cast.’]”

“What if the most important election of our lifetimes happened already?”

“[President] Trump is in charge during a generational emergency, briefing the nation on life and death with an eye toward television ratings and miracle cures. It can feel unlikely that any choice in 2020 will be as consequential as the fact that he won in the first place.”

Regarding the 2016 election, ‘“It was the rejection of business as usual,’ said Rebecca Kirszner Katz, a progressive Democratic strategist. ‘And that includes any form of competent governing.’”

The word “competent” being a matter of opinion, of course.

To be sure the 2016 election was “the rejection of business as usual.” And if you believe career establishment politicians and anti-American policies represent competency, then Ms. Kirszner Katz is your girl.

“Recent weeks have at once exposed the messiness of the federal virus response and the consistency of [President] Trump’s rampaging leadership instincts, delivering a moment that has at last closed the gap between the permanent chaos of his White House, a once-remote sideshow for many Americans, and the daily upheaval in their own lives.”

Okay, Mr. Flegenheimer, I just have to dissect this last remark.

“The messiness of the federal virus response?”

At least we have a federal response!

And what is “messy” about it? We have daily, transparent, briefings from The President and his team, and plan of action that’s endorsed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

What kind of “response” was put together by any other president in the last 50+ years regarding a “response” to a potentially dangerous virus?

Go ahead Flegenheimer…, talk amongst your friends…, I’ll wait.

I hate to interrupt, but…

Don’t you recall other presidents banning travel from foreign countries?

Don’t you recall other presidents ordering that people be quarantined before reentering our country?

Don’t you recall other presidents shutting down educational systems across the country in order to guard against the spread of a virus?

Don’t you recall other presidents ordering all non-essential business be suspended and all personal interactions be limited in order to guard against the spread of a virus?

NO, OF COURSE YOU DON’T, Flegenheimer!

YOU DON’T RECALL ANY OTHER PRESIDENTS DOING ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING…, BESIDES GIVE US ALL A BUNCH OF MEANINGLESS LIP SERVICE!

Please let me remind you, Flegenheimer, since you seem to be factually challenged…,

… we currently have seen 1.9 million coronavirus cases worldwide, resulting in 120,500 deaths.

… we currently have seen 555,000 cases in the United States, resulting in 21,900 deaths.

… in 2009, the H1N1 virus, or the Swine Flu, effected a billion people worldwide, with 284,000 estimated fatalities. How come our country wasn’t shut down for this outbreak, President Obama? Sleepy Joe Biden? Anybody?

… in 2003 we had the SARS virus.

… in 1999 we had the West Nile Virus.

… in 1968 we had the H3N2 virus, or the Hong Kong Flu, where 33,800 people died in the U.S.

… and in 1957 over a million people died from the Asian Flu worldwide, while 116,000 died in the United States.

When have we cancelled, closed, or shut down anything before because of a virus?

The correct answer is NEVER.

Getting back to your remark…, “[President] Trump’s rampaging leadership instincts,” could also be referred to as decisive, informed leadership, which has saved tens of thousands of lives.

And then you talk about “a moment that has at last closed the gap between the permanent chaos of his White House, a once-remote sideshow for many Americans, and the daily upheaval in their own lives.”

May I suggest that any “chaos” in the White House, if there is any, is instigated and nurtured by you and your friends in the liberal propaganda, fake news media, and your democrat friends.

‘“What do you have to lose?’ [President] Trump famously asked black voters in 2016, suggesting he was a risk worth taking. He has repeated the question more recently in a new context: to encourage stricken citizens, in defiance of expert opinion, to try an anti-malarial drug to combat the coronavirus.”

Again, aiding you in your “factual challengedness,” Mr. Flegenheimer, the drug you’re referring to is hydroxychloroquine, and it has been proven to be quite effective in many cases. In fact, many have given the drug credit for saving their lives.

“Of course, the answer to [President] Trump’s initial prompt has always been evident to most Democrats. At stake were health care plans, immigration policies, a generation of court seats and now, they say, many lives that would not have been lost to the coronavirus under more capable executive stewardship.”

And, of course, “the answer” to your answer is that your answer is all politically motivated anti-Trump propaganda and fake news.

‘“I believe history will look back on four years of this president and all he embraces as an aberrant moment in time,’ Biden said in his announcement video last year. ‘But if we give Donald Trump eight years in the White House, he will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation.’”

Only in a positive way, Sleepy Joe…, only in a positive way.

Oh, and by the way, Sleepy Joe, wasn’t it you who called President Trump a “xenophobe” [a person having a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries] for blocking any travel from China at the onset of the outbreak, and probably saving tens of thousands of American lives as a result?

Yes…, it was you Sleepy Joe…, don’t be shy!

Reich’s level of confusion here is both stunning and impressive.

How could a former labor secretary describe President Trump’s accomplishments regarding the lowest unemployment rates across the board, in history, as “damage?”

“In less trying times, Biden’s record on the subject had been consistent.”

Yes…, consistently a bunch of hot air.

‘“The most important election you’ve ever been part of,’ he told voters in 2018, rallying for midterm candidates.”

‘“The most important election,’ he said in 2016, stumping for Hillary Clinton, ‘in any of your lives.’”

Yeah…, we know…, it’s like, “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. Period. If you like your plan you can keep your plan. Period.”

They’re all just disingenuous words spouting out of an establishment politician’s mouth for the sake of those ignorant enough to believe them.

The White House is “smoking out the rats!”

According to Tyler Olson of Fox News, “The Trump administration has been working with allies to assemble lists of officials [unelected bureaucrats] it considers ‘disloyal’ to the president and come up with potential replacements, according to an Axios report.”

The only thing I have to say about this is…,

“IT’S ABOUT FRIGGIN’ TIME!!!!!

DRAIN THE SWAMP!

“The report, based on anonymous sources [Are there any other kind of sources when dealing with the fake news?!], alleges that the memos have circulated in the White House, produced by individuals including a GOP Senate staffer and a group of conservative activists named ‘Groundswell,’ which is led by Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.”

You go, Ginni Thomas!

And “alleges?”

As if The White House or this conservative group is guilty of anything.

“Anonymous sources” is fake news code words for “our embedded deep state, swampy, anti-Trump, “Benedict Arnolds.”

The exact same people President Trump wants to “reassign.”

“On Fox News’ ‘Outnumbered Overtime’ with Harris Faulkner, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway defended [President] Trump’s right to hire and fire as he wishes and emphasized that the president is the person who sets executive branch policy.”

“According to Axios, Thomas at one point handed one of the memos produced by Groundswell directly to President Trump, which included the names of several conservatives loyal to Trump which the group recommended that he hire for various positions, including former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke for a senior role in the Department of Homeland Security.”

OMG!!! She actually handed it to the President?! How dare she!

And who was the person who witnessed this and passed the information on to Axios?

PRECISELY ONE OF THE DISLOYAL DEEP STATERS THE WHITE HOUSE IS TALKING ABOUT!!! THAT’S WHO!

How can any organization operate effectively with a bunch people intent on making that organization fail operating from within that organization?

These swampy bureaucrats seem to think they have some sort of right to whatever position they have.

These people are not elected.

And again…, like Kellyanne Conway stated, President Trump has the right to hire and fire as he wishes and he is the person who sets executive branch policy.

Again…, so what?

In many other countries these people would be lined-up and shot or jailed.

In President Trump’s case, he just wants these rats reassigned or let go so he can work without their constant interference and undermining.

Not too much to ask for I don’t think.

Do these people think President Obama was loading up his staff with people that were opposed to him or his policies?

Do these people expect us to believe that anyone opposed to President Obama or his policies wasn’t shown the door pretty quickly?

I wouldn’t even hold it against President Obama. It’s something I would expect.

“One memo that Axios reports on specifically involves the former nominee to be Treasury Department undersecretary for terrorism and financial crimes Jessie Liu. The memo spelled out why Liu was not sufficiently pro-Trump at her previous post as U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.”

“Reasons included Liu not pursuing criminal referrals that came from the Senate Judiciary Committee on the heels of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing, asking for jail time for ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn, not indicting former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and more.”

“Trump later withdrew Liu’s nomination to the Treasury Department post.”

Again…, so what? And good. These nominations are entirely his, President Trump’s, prerogative.

“There were other memos like the Liu memo that made it to Trump’s desk, according to Axios, including one that named several State Department officers.”

Again…, who was the person who witnessed this and passed the information on to Axios?

If I was President Trump, I’d leave some particularly juicy [but specifically] fake memos laying around, monitored by a video camera, just to see what got leaked and by whom.

Lisa and Peter sittin’ in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g…

Edmund DeMarche of Fox News reports that, “Ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page [one of the FBI “LOVERS”] calls out [President] Trump in tweet, saying he’s ‘still obsessed.’”

“Lisa Page, the former FBI lawyer who had an alleged affair with former FBI head of counterintelligence Peter Strzok and is a favorite target of President Trump, tweeted Sunday claiming that the president is still obsessed with them.”

Uh…, yeah…, why wouldn’t he be?

Here we have two treasonous former FBI employee scumbags, who tried to take him and his presidency down, and they’re out there walking around, free as a bird, or free as birds in this case.

“Page retweeted a column from The Washington Post titled, ‘The President Has Nothing Better to Do.’”

Just another fair and balanced article we can attribute to The Washington Post.

“The column, like the title suggests, claims that Trump wastes a lot of time, and pointed out that he spent about 45 minutes with the cast of ‘FBI Lovebirds: Undercover.’”

Ha! That’s too funny!

And honestly…, I don’t think The President “wastes” as much time as “the LOVERS” did on the government’s time. Just sayin’.

“The play [FBI Lovebirds: Undercover], which starred Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson, was the first to ever be performed at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The play is also available on Fox Nation.”

There! Now if that’s not a reason to finally subscribe to Fox Nation, I don’t know what is!

I can’t wait until we put this virus crap behind us and President Trump can get back to the business of promoting truth, justice, and the American dream again.

Did Page actually think appearing on Maddow’s show, with all 3 of her viewers, would actually move her public perception needle one way or the other?

“When asked about Strzok’s text saying ‘we won’t allow’ Trump to get elected, Page insisted it was the ‘collective we’ as in ‘like-minded, thoughtful, sensible people who were not going to vote this person into office.’”

What a pathetic liar!

That’s what they [the LOVERS] came up with in an attempt to explain away their treasonous tweets?

It was a pretty lame attempt, if you ask me. But I suppose a lame attempt is better than no attempt at all.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Well, ga-a-a-aaoooolly.

It seems that The United States was the most prepared to deal with our current pandemic, although you would think our government was and is failing miserably on every level, according to the dumocrats and the liberal propaganda, fake news, media.

Gregg Re of Fox News reports, “US was more prepared for pandemic than any other country, a Johns Hopkins study found.”

“The United States was ranked the best-prepared country in the world to handle a pandemic in late 2019 by the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) and the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security (JHCHS) — an assessment seemingly at odds with claims by Democrats that the Trump administration left the country vulnerable to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.”

We’ve heard you declaring that President Trump had slashed the CDC budget.

We’ve heard you say that important support personnel in the CDC had been “trimmed away” by President Trump.

We’ve heard you say The President has silenced or muffled those on his coronavirus team or in his administration who disagree with him.

False, false, false and FALSE!!!

A thousand times FALSE!

It doesn’t seem to stop the fake news, however.

They just shake their latest disproven lie off and spout off another one the next day.

The dumocrats and the liberal propaganda, fake news media have absolutely no shame.

I’m not sure how President Trump is able to put up with their crap on a daily basis, to tell you the truth.

President Trump is an amazing man, and I thank God every day that he is willing and able to battle all of these anti-America forces in our own country and around the world.

Hey democrats and fake news media! Be careful what you wish for…, you just might get it!

Yes, democrats, and the fake news media…, “Be careful what you wish for…, because you just might get it!

As they continue searching for anything to criticize The President about, the democrats and the fake news, liberal propaganda, media has latched onto The Defense Production Act…, demanding President Trump invoke this law and use it towards alleviating the shortages for medical equipment that we’re facing.

In fact, in his first “coronavirus update,” Sleepy, Creepy Joe Biden hung his hat on this recommendation and usage of the law as well.

So…, what exactly is the Defense Production Act?

According to Eric Tucker, for The Associated Press, “The Defense Production Act of 1950 was signed by President Harry S. Truman amid concerns about supplies and equipment during that war. It’s been invoked multiple times since then to help the federal government for a range of emergencies including war, hurricanes and terrorism prevention.”

“The act gives the federal government broad authority to direct private companies to meet the needs of the national defense. Over the decades, the law’s powers have been understood to encompass not only times of war but also domestic emergency preparedness and recovery from terrorist attacks and natural disasters.”

“The act authorizes the president to require companies to prioritize government contracts and orders seen as necessary for the national defense, with the goal of ensuring that the private sector is producing enough goods needed to meet a war effort or other national emergency.”

According to Peter Sullivan, of The Hill, “President Trump on Sunday rejected calls from governors, hospitals and others to direct companies to ramp up production of critical supplies for the coronavirus fight through the use of the Defense Production Act.”

“[President] Trump argued that he has used the Defense Production Act (DPA) as leverage in negotiations with companies to get them to produce supplies and equipment for the coronavirus fight.”

‘“We’re a country not based on nationalizing our business. Call a person over in Venezuela,’ Trump told reporters. ‘How did nationalization of their businesses work out? Not too well.’”

“[President] Trump has been under increasing pressure to use his powers under the DPA to direct private companies to increase production of supplies such as masks and other protective gear for health care workers as well as ventilators, which allow seriously ill people to breathe.”

“New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) warned that prices for crucial masks had spiked from $0.85 to $7 apiece and urged the federal government to step in. ‘The Federal Government should immediately use the Defense Production Act to order companies to make gowns, masks and gloves,’ Cuomo tweeted Sunday.”

Well, Mr. President, perhaps you should reconsider your stance, and start putting Defense Production Act to good use!

For instance:

MrEricksonRules would immediately order The Washington Post and The New York Times to suspend the printing of their papers switch over to producing toilet paper to meet the national shortages there.

They could still print their articles on the TP if they want to. In fact, more people would probably read their articles as well under this scenario!

It’s a win-win!

Next, I would order CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS and NPR to use their employees to support the temporary hospitals in New York, by helping with cleaning the bathrooms, taking out the garbage, and generally keeping the facilities clean!

There…, now wouldn’t that be fun!

This would also be a win-win scenario…, as they would be helping out the cause by supporting coronavirus treatment facilities, and at the same time they would not have the time to continue to ramp-up the hysteria about the coronavirus and continue their unceasing attacks on President Trump.

Like I said…, it’s a win-win!

So, yes, democrats, and the fake news media…, “Be careful what you wish for…, because you just might get it!

Everybody was “Kung Flu” fighting!

According to Alexander Nazaryan of Yahoo News, “In a press conference on Wednesday morning, President Trump defended his efforts to brand the coronavirus epidemic as a specifically Chinese disease. Although it did originate there, Trump’s critics have said blaming China for the outbreak is xenophobic and racist.”

Hmmm…, that’s odd…, President Trump’s critics calling him xenophobic and racist!

Couldn’t we have just assumed that?

Just sayin’.

‘“Why do you keep calling this the Chinese virus?’” ABC reporter Cecilia Vega asked The President, “during a briefing with the White House coronavirus task force.”

“The reporter noted that there has been a rise of racist incidents, some of them violent, against people of Asian origin across the United States.”

Oh, really, Ms. Vega?

I haven’t heard about any of these “racist incidents… against people of Asian origin across the United States.”

Especially due to The President referring to COVID-19 as “the Chinese virus.”

How exactly are you able to make that connection, Ms. Vega?

Is this one of those liberal propaganda scenarios like the video that supposedly caused the Benghazi attack?

Perhaps you’d be willing to share more details and facts about these “incidents” you refer to?

I’m sure you heard about the “incidents” through unnamed sources who heard about the “incidents” second or third hand.

If there were actual racial “incidents,” I’m sure your network and organization (ABC) would be more than excited to shine their light on them.

I won’t be holding my breath waiting for these stories to surface, however.

‘“It’s not racist at all,’ [President] Trump said in defending his and his allies’ use of terms like ‘the Chinese virus’ and ‘the Wuhan virus,’ a reference to the city where it originated. ‘It comes from China, that’s why,’ the president continued. ‘It comes from China. I want to be accurate.’”

“Beijing has also promoted conspiracy theories that include blaming members of the U.S. military for causing the pandemic, something that clearly displeases [President] Trump. ‘That can’t happen,’ he said of that allegation. ‘It’s not going to happen. Not as long as I am president.’”

The White House later accused the media of “fake outrage” after the press conference:

“Spanish Flu. West Nile Virus. Zika. Ebola. All named for places.

Before the media’s fake outrage, even CNN called it the ‘Chinese Coronavirus.’

Those trying to divide us must stop rooting for America to fail and give Americans real info they need to get through the crisis. — The White House (@WhiteHouse) March 18, 2020”

That’s right…, in the past we have had the Spanish flu, the West Nile Virus, the Asian flu, and the Hong Kong flu.

Nobody was crying about any racism or xenophobia in those cases.

Perhaps you should do a little research about a subject before you go shooting your mouth off about it, Ms. Vega?

Isn’t that a novel idea?

I don’t know what’s worse…, your journalistic deficiencies or having to listen to your condescending tone…, albeit fraudulent and stupidly elitist in nature.

“China’s so-called ‘wet markets’ arose in the 1970s, when famine killed millions there. In 1978, China’s Communist government allowed private farming, and a decade later it legalized the private industry of raising and selling wildlife.”

“The unsanitary conditions of these markets and storage of animals in crates on top of one another has been blamed for the transmission of viruses between species. In the initial stages of the SARS outbreak, Chinese officials withheld information on the number of people infected and later conceded it was ‘not well prepared’ for the epidemic.”

I believe, like President Trump, that China fully deserves to take the credit, again, for this latest virus…, “The Chinese Virus,” or “The Wuhan Virus,” and that there’s nothing xenophobic or racist about it.

GOP slammed by Nobel-Winning Economist, Paul Krugman.

How this guy has any credibility left, or a job for that matter, is beyond me.

I used to think “Nobel-Winning” actually meant something until Barack Obama and this guy won one.

“This guy” being “Economist” Paul Krugman…, and I use the term “economist” VERY loosely.

Krugman hasn’t been remotely close to being right about anything he’s said regarding the economy in like forever.

That’s probably because he’s more interested in spreading desired liberal propaganda economic narratives rather than actually analyzing our real economy.

Lee Moran, of the ever disgusting HuffPost, reports that, “Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman blasted the GOP [The Grand Old Party, or Republicans] for ‘the most cynical policy reversal of modern times,’ and warned their bold duplicity may help President Donald Trump secure a second term in office.”

Oh…, I can’t wait…, this should be interesting!

“Fake Newsers” are always more than happy to regurgitate other fake news propaganda…, no matter how hypocritical or idiotic it is.

“In his latest column for The New York Times [Guaranteeing the fakeness of it!], Krugman called out the ‘broader pattern of breathtaking fiscal hypocrisy, in which the G.O.P. went from insisting that federal debt posed an existential threat under Obama to complete indifference to budget deficits under Trump.’”

‘“This 180-degree turn is, as far as I can tell, the most cynical policy reversal of modern times,’ he argued.”

How dare anyone in politics change their mind, right Paul?!

“Krugman predicted ‘this cynicism may win Trump the election’ because ‘what’s driving the U.S. economy now is the very deficit spending Republicans pretended to be horrified by during the Obama years.’”

Ok…, wait…, this is too good!

What Mr. Krugman is saying is President Trump may win re-election because he and the republicans have changed their position on the federal deficit, and they have now chosen to ignore it like the democrats have been doing!

That’s beautiful.

It’s not fair! You can’t be irresponsible about the federal deficit…, that’s our job!

In all fairness to President Trump, he didn’t run particularly on reducing the federal deficit, and he never pretended to be overly concerned about it.

And those fiscally conservative republicans are still out there…, they’re just not putting up much of a fight right now.

Being responsible with the nation’s money is just not a winning argument these days.

So, like they say…, “when in Rome, do as the Romans do,” and “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”

Being responsible sucks!
