Nobody wants a president who’s a yellow-bellied chicken.

Except democrats, apparently.

Nobody wants a president who can’t stand toe-to-toe with an opponent.

Nobody wants a president who can’t think on their feet without the aid of a teleprompter.

Except democrats, apparently.

It would seem they’re less afraid of being called chickens than of being called inept or incapacitated!

I don’t actually believe that Joe Biden is afraid to debate Presiddent Trump…, but he should be.

I believe Joe Biden believes he’s just fine, and capable…, but he isn’t.

I’m sorry, Joe…, but you’re just not “with it” anymore…, if you ever were.

According to Benjamin Fearnow, for Newsweek. “Democratic strategists and supporters of Vice President Joe Biden are urging him not to debate President Donald Trump in the lead-up to Election Day, citing Trump’s publicity stunts and disregard for the rules in 2016.”

Oh, you mean like how Hillary, her people, the DNC, and the fake news media conspired to get her the debate questions before one of the debates in 2016?

Is that the kind of “disregard for the rules” you’re referring to?

And we are completely aware of why “Democratic strategists and supporters of Vice President Joe Biden are urging him not to debate President Donald Trump.”

Because they know Biden is going to look like an incomprehensible old fool and an indefensible old fool, up against President Trump.

President Trump mopped the floor with the other 15 republican candidates in 2016, and then Hillary Clinton as well.

“Former White House Press Secretary, Joe Lockhart, joined several Democratic Party strategists in bluntly advising Biden, ‘whatever you do, don’t debate Trump.’ Speaking on CNN Saturday, Lockhart said Trump shouldn’t be given another platform which will enable him to ‘repeat lies,’ which he said occurred in the 2016 debates against Hillary Clinton.”

It’s hilarious!

These people are on their knees begging Sleepy Joe to bail out of the presidential debates.

They have obviously calculated that it’s better to appear weak and afraid, as opposed to exposing yourself as an incomprehensible old fool and an indefensible old fool.

‘“We saw in the debates in 2016 Hillary Clinton showed a mastery of the issues, every point she made was more honest and bested Trump,’ Lockhart told CNN.”

What debates were you watching, Lockhart?

‘“But Trump came out of the debates doing better I think because he just kept repeating the same old lies: “we’re going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it,” “we’re going to keep all those Mexican rapists out of the country,” and “we’re going to make great trade deals” — none of these things have come to pass.’”

‘“Giving him that national forum to continue to spout — get him to 21,000 or 22,000 lies — I think just isn’t worth it for the Democrats or for Biden,’ Lockhart continued.”

“Several opinion columns published in recent months have called for an outright cancellation of the debates, describing them — alongside the party conventions — as outdated political rituals designed purely for TV ratings.”

“Longtime Democratic strategist and former Hillary Clinton senior adviser Zac Petkanas agreed with calls for Biden to back out of any and all debates with Trump in the coming months.”

“As it stands currently, there are three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate scheduled between September 29 and October 22.”

‘“Biden shouldn’t feel obligated to throw Trump a lifeline by granting him any debates at all. This is not a normal presidential election and Trump is not a legitimate candidate,’ Petkanas tweeted last week.”

“Speculation over the cancellation of the Biden versus Trump 2020 presidential debates increased last week after the University of Notre Dame withdrew its campus as host of the September 29 event over coronavirus concerns. The University of Michigan withdrew from hosting a presidential debate on its campus in June, which has since been rescheduled at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.”

“Political commentator Bill Kristol, a so-called ‘Never Trump’ conservative, praised Notre Dame for withdrawing as host of the first presidential debate over coronavirus concerns.”

‘“Good. No need to go to any trouble to replace this debate. Indeed, I gather Biden’s already all booked up with zoom calls in those weeks. Also, the Jewish holidays. And the new Perry Mason series. Too bad!’ Kristol quipped on Twitter.”

What a pathetic “never Trumper.”

Kristol is just another tool of the old estabilishment politicians who really don’t want to accomplish anything.  All they want to do is blow hot air and kick the country’s problems down the road.

“The first presidential debate is now set to take place at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland on September 29; the first vice presidential debate is currently set to take place at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City on October 7. The second presidential debate is scheduled for the Arsht Center on October 15, and the third and final debate is set to take place on October 22 on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville.”

But wait…, there’s more!

Crazy Nancy is now joining in with the chorus!

Marisa Schultz of Fox News reports, “Pelosi says Biden shouldn’t debate Trump: ‘I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him.’”

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested Thursday that former Vice President Joe Biden cancel his three scheduled debates with President Trump because the commander-in-chief would ‘belittle’ the forum and engage in ‘skullduggery.’”

“Skullduggery?!”

‘“I don’t think that there should be any debates,’ Pelosi said out of the blue at a news conference at the Capitol, saying she doesn’t want the debates to be ‘an exercise in skullduggery.’”

“Biden told MSNBC Thursday he’s still planning on showing up to the high-profile faceoffs with the president.”

‘“As long as the [debate] commission continues down the straight and narrow as they have, I’m going to debate him,’ Biden said.”

What does that mean?

That sounds like you’re building-in a little wiggle room there, Joe.

‘“I’m going to be a fact-checker on the floor as I’m debating him,’ he added.”

Yes, please, feel free Sleepy Joe.

Will that “fact checking” apply to yourself as well?

Just keeping it real.

“Pelosi is just the latest high-profile Democrat to offer a major piece of advice to the former vice president.”

“Republicans pointed to Pelosi’s remarks as another sign that Democrats are trying to hide Biden.”

Really?

I think we all understand that Sleepy Joe has been relegated exclusively to his basement by now.

“Debates have been an issue of contention for weeks as the Trump campaign has pushed for an additional early debate to coincide with early voting that will be underway in states.”

It does make sense to have at least one debate before people can vote…, that is, if not afraid to debate in the first place.

“And the idea of abandoning debates all together made headlines after a New York Times op-ed earlier this August argued that presidential debates should be ‘scrapped,’ with critics suggesting that it’s the latest effort by the media to prevent Biden from debating Trump.”

“Pelosi made the comment at her weekly news conference, unprompted, and her advice was not in response to a question about debates. She cited Trump’s ‘disgraceful’ performance at the 2016 debate when he was ‘stalking’ Clinton as one reason Biden should break tradition and sit out the debates.”

If you watch that debate, the claim that President Trump was “stalking” Hillary, was completely and only imagined by Mrs. Clinton…, then regurgitated by ignorant democrats and their fake news media friends.

“So, I think that he’ll probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency; he does that every day,’ Pelosi said of Trump. ‘But I think it will also belittle what the debates are supposed to be about. And they’re not to be about skullduggery on the part of somebody who has no respect for the office he holds, much less the democratic process.’”

‘“Why else would he try to undermine the elections in the manner in which he is doing?’ Pelosi continued. ‘So, if Joe Biden asked me what I thought about it, [I’d say] I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump.’”

The only problem is, Sleepy Joe’s wife, Jill Biden, already declared her man “would be there for the debates.”

And Sleepy Joe, himself, has said, “I can hardly wait to debate Trump.”

“Shortly after Pelosi’s comments, the Biden campaign responded that while they agree with the speaker’s characterization of Trump, Biden will go through with the debates as planned.

“The Biden campaign already agreed in June to three debates in September and October in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, in addition to a vice-presidential debate.”

‘“We certainly agree with Speaker Pelosi on her views of the President’s behavior,’ Biden campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates said. ‘But just as she has powerfully confronted that behavior in the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room, Joe Biden looks forward to doing the same on the debate stage.’”

That’s good to hear, and that’s tough talk…, but talk is talk, and talk is cheap.

We’ll see.

“The first debate is scheduled for [Tuesday] Sept. 29.”

I’ll definitely be watching…, if Sleepy Joe actually shows up.
