Another political “hit and run.”

Yes…, “hit and run” politics has become extremely popular for the democrats as of late.

It’s a nice tactic, when you can get away with it…, and, of course, the liberal propaganda fake news media is only more than happy to cooperate.

Most recently, we have seen vice presidential candidate, Senator Kamala Harris, perform a political “hit and run.”

According to Thomas Barrabi of Fox News, “Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris faced renewed scrutiny for her lack of press availability on Monday after she abruptly exited the stage after a speech in North Carolina in which she criticized President Trump’s bid to fill a Supreme Court seat before the election.”

“Harris did not take any questions from the media after her speech at Shaw University, one of North Carolina’s historically black colleges and universities. The event was closed to the general public and attended only by news reporters, according to the Fayetteville Observer.”

Political “hit and run!”

“Aside from her role as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s running mate, Harris is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and will have a chance to directly question Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, Trump’s pick to fill the high court vacancy, in any confirmation hearing that takes place prior to Nov. 3.”

“In her speech, which was criticized by the research wing of the Republican National Committee, Harris ripped the GOP for moving forward with the nomination so close to an election.”

‘“We will not give up, and we will not give in,’ Harris said. ‘We will not let the infection that President Trump has injected into the presidency and into Congress, that has paralyzed our politics and pitted Americans against each other, spread to the United States Supreme Court.’”

Translation: We will do everything we can to discredit and limit President Trump, since he refuses to play ball with the establishment politicians in Washington D.C. and our deep state bureaucrats. He has made it very difficult for all of us money grubbing, anti-America, vermin to take advantage of America and the American people.

“Harris has faced criticism for not taking questions from the press in recent days.”

Oh, Really?

I don’t think you can hardly call anything she has faced anywhere near any kind of serious criticism.

Now, President Trump, he faces criticism, serious criticism, on a daily basis.

The level of criticism The President faces would have little Joey Biden and little Kammy Harris running home and crying to their mommies.

Believe that.

“Reporters from multiple outlets have questioned why Harris hasn’t made herself available to the media, and [President] Trump and members of his campaign staff have frequently complained that both Biden and Harris are being given a free pass when it comes to questions from the press.”

Yes…, “reporters” from obscure outlets who nobody pays attention to. All of the major mainstream media outlets are sitting on their hands like good little co-conspirators.

“Fox News reported last week that Biden hasn’t participated in a formal press conference or gaggle since she was announced as Biden’s running mate in August.”

Yes, we’ve all seen the pathetic “press conferences” put on by Biden and his campaign…, which include a few “reporters” sitting in their socially distanced circles, and posing preapproved questions to Sleepy Joe, if they’re allowed to even do that.

“[President] Trump nominated [Judge Amy Coney] Barrett on Saturday for the Supreme Court seat held by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg until her death earlier this month.”

“In her speech, Harris warned that Barrett’s confirmation to the Supreme Court would endanger the Obama-era Affordable Care Act, as well as reproductive rights legislation.”

What you say is all a matter of opinion and perspective Senator Harris.

Some would say “good riddance” to the UNaffordable Care Act, as well as your “NON-reproductive rights.”

“The Supreme Court will hear arguments on the ACA just days after the election.”

‘“Judge Barrett has a long record of opposing abortion and reproductive rights,’ Harris said. ‘There is no other issue that so disrespects and dishonors the work of Justice Ginsburg’s life than undoing the seminal decision in the court’s history that made it clear a woman has a right to make decisions about her own body.’”

Again, what you say is all a matter of opinion and perspective Senator Harris.

Some would say, including me, that Justice Ginsburg has the blood of millions of unborn babies on her hands.

Just sayin’.

Rebecca Klar, for “The Hill” news website reported that, “Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, shut down a question Sunday from CNN’s Jake Tapper about any ‘gaffe’ her husband may make.”

‘“Oh, you can’t even go there,’ Jill Biden told the ‘State of the Union’ host when he led into a question by noting that the former vice president ‘has been known to make the occasional gaffe.’”

‘“After Donald Trump, you cannot even say the word gaffe,’ she said.”

‘“I can’t even say the word gaffe?’ Tapper asked.”

‘“Nope. Done. It’s gone,’ she responded.”

‘“Over, so over,’ she added.”

Wow…, way to fold up like a cheap suit there, Jake!

When Jill Biden tells you to shut up and go screw yourself…, if you’re the fake news, you shut up and go screw yourself!

It must be nice to be able to dictate what you may and may not be asked about.

“President Trump has sought to make Joe Biden’s age and mental acuity an issue in the campaign, suggesting the Democrat has dementia and accusing him of having used drugs to improve his public performance. Trump renewed his call on Sunday for drug tests before Tuesday’s debate.”

The President has also asked they both be checked for any communication devices in their ears.

The Biden campaign has denied both requests.

There’s only one reason why anyone would be afraid to take a drug test.

And there’s only one reason why you would care if anyone checked your ears for anything funny in there.

Just sayin’.

“Jill Biden told Tapper her husband is ready to face Trump on Tuesday in the first general election presidential debate.”

‘“Oh, my gosh, yes, he’s ready,’ she said on CNN. ‘You know, one of the things I am excited for is when the American people see Joe Biden up there on that stage, they’re going to see what a president looks like, someone who is, like I’m saying, calm, steady, strong, resilient. It’s like night and day between the two candidates. And so I can’t wait for the American people to see Joe, to see that statesman up there in front of the American public.’”

Wow, Mrs. Biden, but excuse me…, oh my gosh, you are sooo full of crap!

Another political “hit and run.”

Your definition of “peaceful” is shameful!

According to Brian Flood of Fox News, “CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell says ‘mostly peaceful’ protests caused $1B to $2B in damage from looting and arson.”

That’s a pretty general statement, and as we will learn, that only reflects damages over a two-week period, not for all “protests” in total.

‘“Peaceful protests don’t leave behind death, destruction, and shattered lives in their wake,’ media analyst Nicholas Fondacaro says.”

“Many members of the mainstream media have made sure to paint nationwide protests as ‘peaceful’ in recent months– and ‘CBS Evening News’ anchor Norah O’Donnell demonstrated how far they’re willing to go on Wednesday night.”

Let’s stop and think about this for minute.

Is that really the job of the mainstream media and “CBS Evening News” in this particular instance, to “paint” events which are happening in our country or around the world?

Aren’t “news organizations” supposed to report what’s happening and let the public decide what to think about it?

“Axios [Axios is an American news website, founded in 2016, and launched the following year by former Politico team members.] reported earlier in the day that damage caused by ‘riots and civil disorders’ from May 26 through June 8 would cost insurance companies between $1-2 billion.”

‘“The vandalism and looting following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police will cost the insurance industry more than any other violent demonstrations in recent history,’ Axios reported.”

Please note that it still hasn’t been determined that the officers were responsible for George Floyd’s death.

“When O’Donnell reported the overwhelming figure, she made sure to insist the protests were mostly peaceful.”

“Overwhelming figure?”

The real “overwhelming figure” would be the figure that takes into account ALL of the “protesting,” rioting, looting, burning, and vandalizing which has occurred over the past four months.

I would conservatively, no pun intended, estimate those damages to be in the tens of billions of dollars…, which taxpayers and people with insurance will end up paying for, I’m sure.

‘“The protests in late spring were mostly peaceful, but damage from looting and arson will cost $1 to $2 billion in claims. That’s according to the Insurance Information Institute. And that would eclipse the previous high, the 1992 riots that followed the acquittal of four officers in the beating of Rodney King,’ O’Donnell told viewers.”

In truth, the “protests” were mostly NOT peaceful.

“Media Research Center analyst Nicholas Fondacaro pointed out that NBC’s ‘Nightly News’ and ABC’s ‘World News Tonight’ didn’t bother to report the alarming statistic. While O’Donnell at least informed viewers of the damage, Fondacaro doesn’t understand why she needed to add the disclaimer.”

Has the Media Research Center mentioned that the mainstream media has failed to report much, if any, of the violence tied to the “protests” of the last four months?

It’s not really surprising then that most of the media failed to point out these “alarming statistics,” is it?

That answer would be a big, “no.”

‘“Earth to the liberal media, ‘peaceful’ protests don’t leave behind death, destruction, and shattered lives in their wake,’ Fondacaro wrote.”

What death, destruction and shattered lives are you talking about?  Don’t you realize, Mr. Fondacaro, that if the liberal propaganda fake news media doesn’t report something it didn’t really happen?

“Insurance Information Institute (or Triple-I) compiles information from a company called Property Claim Services (PCS), which has tracked insurance claims related to civil disorder since 1950, and other databases. It provided reports to Axios that the damage from unrest between May 26 and June 8 will be the most expensive in the nation’s history, surmounting the Rodney King riots of 1992 in Los Angeles.”

“The price tag could be as much as $2 billion and possibly more, according to Triple I. But the protests related to Floyd differ from others the database has tracked – never before have they been so widespread.”

‘“It’s not just happening in one city or state – it’s all over the country,’ Loretta L. Worters of the Triple-I told Axios. ‘And this is still happening, so the losses could be significantly more.’”

That’s a real good guess there, Ms. Worters.

I guess Captain Obvious could be a woman, although I never really thought about it before!

“The last time PCS compiled insurance losses for a ‘civil disorder event’ was 2015, when riots erupted in Baltimore after Freddie Gray died from a neck injury in police custody. But those riots did not even accrue $25 million in damages.”

Not even $25 million?

Well that’s hardly even worth mentioning then!

Ya know, I’ve seen that rich liberals and Biden staffers, encouraged by Kamala Harris, are raising a lot of money to bail some of these violent “protesters” out of jail. Quite a few in fact.

I keep reading about some of these scared companies donating millions and millions of dollars to the Black Lives Matter organization too.

Maybe the bail-out fund, the Black Lives Matter organization, and the rest of their corporate friends can help pay for some of the damage their friends have caused?

Just sayin’.

“The sky is falling!  The sky is falling!” – Chicken Little

Although in this case it’s “The oceans are rising!  The oceans are rising!” – Climate change whackos

Chris Ciaccia of Fox News reports that, “Melting Antarctic ice will raise sea levels and might cause humanity to ‘give up … New York!’”

There’s one of our favorite “scientific” words again…, “might.”

“Might” is right there with “may,” “could,” etc.

“The research notes that if temperatures rise 2 degrees Celsius, ocean levels will rise 8 feet.”

Note: 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit for every 1 degree in Celsius. So, a 2 degree rise in Celsius would be a 3.6 degree rise Fahrenheit.

“If the goals of the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement are not met, the Antarctic ice sheet will melt, resulting in global sea levels rising to the point where humanity will have to ‘give up … New York,’ according to a new study.”

Ahhh…, the old Paris Climate Agreement.

The agreement that proposed to hold the US to higher standards than everyone else, while having the US pay dearly, monetarily and economically speaking, while the rest of the world took its time sacrificing anything in the name of saving the environment.

So, in actuality, it isn’t up to the United States to insure the Paris Climate Agreement environmental goals are met, it’s up to the major pollution violators, like China, India, Russia and Japan.

I’m assuming this article and this study are being highlighted and touted in the countries I mentioned above, right?

Right?

I would recommend not holding your breath while waiting for any of these countries to take any environmentally responsible actions if it costs them one extra dollar to do so.

Just sayin’.

I really hate to throw my Indian friends under the bus here, but even they would have to admit that India definitely has issues with clean air, clean water, and pollution in general.

“The research, published in ‘Nature,’ [‘Nature’ is a British weekly scientific journal founded and based in London, England. It features peer-reviewed research from a variety of academic disciplines, mainly in science, technology, and the natural sciences], notes that if temperatures rise 2 degrees Celsius, ocean levels will rise 2.5 meters (8 feet), the temperature limit set by the Paris agreement. Should temperatures rise 4 or 6 degrees Celsius, sea levels would eventually rise 6.5 meters (21 feet) and nearly 12 meters (39 feet), respectively.”

‘“Antarctica holds more than half of Earth’s fresh water, frozen in a vast ice-sheet which is nearly 5 kilometers thick,’ study co-author Ricarda Winkelmann said in a statement. ‘As the surrounding ocean water and atmosphere warm due to human greenhouse-gas emissions, the white cap on the South Pole loses mass and eventually becomes unstable.’”

“Winkelmann continued: ‘Because of its sheer magnitude, Antarctica’s potential for sea-level contribution is enormous: We find that already at 2 degrees of warming, melting and the accelerated ice flow into the ocean will, eventually, entail 2.5 meters of global sea level rise just from Antarctica alone. At 4 degrees, it will be 6.5 meters and at 6 degrees almost 12 meters if these temperature levels would be sustained long enough.’”

Okay Professor, let ME throw some numbers at YOU.

In the Antarctic (the South Pole) the warmest month of the year is January, with an average temperature of -14 degrees Fahrenheit.

The coldest month of the year in the Antarctic, is September, with an average temperature of -70 degrees Fahrenheit.

So even if the average temperature rises 40 degrees, we would still be well below freezing, which is +32 degrees Fahrenheit.

So, what would a rise of 4, 8, or 10 degrees Fahrenheit cause?

I mean, freezing is freezing, isn’t it?

Something is just as frozen at -70 as it is at -30, isn’t it?

Do you really have to be a “scientist.” An “expert,” or a “professor,” to figure this stuff out?

Additionally, the oceans make up 71% of the surface of our planet.

If you’ve ever taken a trip and flown across the Pacific Ocean or the Atlantic Ocean, you have gotten a feel for ow immense they really are.

Now, the Antarctic makes up only 2.7% of our planet’s surface.

It is utterly absurd to suggest, or insinuate, that an area so small in relation to an area so big could have such a huge effect on the larger area.

Like I said before, “Do you really have to be a “scientist.” An “expert,” or a “professor,” to figure this stuff out?”

The answer is “no.”

A little common sense will serve you well every time.

“The landmark Paris Climate Agreement, which was agreed to in 2015 under the Obama administration [An administration which was always eager to enter into agreements that put appearances over reality], has as its long-term goal limiting the increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Nearly 200 nations signed the landmark agreement, including China.”

Signing something in which you have no responsibility, only benefits, is not a hard thing to do, nor is it something which is particularly noteworthy.

“In early November 2019, the Trump administration began its formal withdrawal from the agreement.”

And rightly so.

Let’s take a look at what former President Obama agreed to under the wonderful Paris Climate Agreement.

Per Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming, “The poorly negotiated Paris climate accord imposed unfair, unworkable and unrealistic targets on the United States for reducing carbon emissions.”

“Poorly negotiated?”

Is that the definition of a “negotiation” to President Obama and his friends…, bending over and grabbing your ankles?

“As the climate deal punished America’s energy producers with expensive and burdensome regulations, it gave other countries U.S. taxpayer-funded subsidies and generous timelines.”

“Countries like China got a free pass to pollute for over a decade. With abundant low-cost coal, China and India would put our manufacturers at a huge competitive disadvantage. Economic costs would be severe.”

“According to the National Economic Research Associates, if we met all of our commitments as part of the Paris climate agreement, it would cost the American economy $3 trillion and 6.5 million industrial sector jobs by 2040. We don’t need to cripple our economy to protect our environment.”

“America’s emissions actually continue to decline, and we are the world’s driver of innovative solutions. Since 2005, the United States has reduced its combustion-related carbon dioxide emissions more than any other nation in the world. Global emissions have moved in the opposite direction.”

Huh.

It sounds like a typical “putting America and Americans last” Obama deal.

But all of that being said…, President Trump will just be accused of being an evil “climate denier” for getting the US out of that agreement, regardless of how detrimental and unfair it was towards the United States.

I guess President Trump didn’t get the memo that the US is supposed to be everyone else’s bitch.

Anyway…, getting back to the issue of the Antarctic melting…

“The period of melting is likely to last for many years, but it’s likely the changes will be permanent, the researchers added.”

“Likely,” huh?

Another typically “scientific” word these days.

You’ve heard of the term, “the new math,” right?

Well, what we are dealing with now is “the new science.”

It’s “science” with a twist of propaganda.

‘“Antarctica is basically our ultimate heritage from an earlier time in Earth’s history,’ study co-author Anders Levermann added. ‘It’s been around for roughly 34 million years. Now our simulations show that once it’s melted, it does not regrow to its initial state even if temperatures eventually sank again. Indeed, temperatures would have to go back to pre-industrial levels to allow its full recovery – a highly unlikely scenario. In other words: What we lose of Antarctica now, is lost forever.’”

Anders Levermann is a climate scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and Columbia University. He is a Professor of the Dynamics of the Climate System at Institute for Physics and Astrophysics of the Potsdam University, Germany.

“In an interview with the Guardian, Levermann was even direr, noting ‘we will be renowned in future as the people who flooded New York City.’”

“Earlier this week, a separate study said sea levels could rise 15 inches by 2100 because of melting from the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets if greenhouse gas emissions continue at their current pace.”

There’s that word again, “could.”

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

“The research shows the stark impact humanity is having on the planet, even if the most extreme impacts will not be seen for years to come, Winkelmann continued.”

‘“In the end, it is our burning of coal and oil that determines ongoing and future greenhouse-gas emissions and therefore, if and when critical temperature thresholds in Antarctica are crossed. And even if the ice loss happens on long time scales, the respective carbon dioxide levels can already be reached in the near future. We decide now whether we manage to halt the warming. If we give up the Paris Agreement, we give up Hamburg, Tokyo and New York.’”

“A separate study published in February suggested that if global temperatures were to rise 0.5 degrees Celsius over the next 50 years, approximately half of the world’s species would become locally extinct. If temperatures were to rise 2.9 degrees Celsius, 95 percent of the species would become locally extinct.”

“In March, another study suggested that almost half of the world’s sandy beaches could be gone by 2100 if climate change continues.”

“In August, researchers found that 28 trillion tons of ice, primarily from the Arctic sea, Antarctic ice shelves and mountain glaciers, had been lost over the past 23 years, ‘a direct consequence of climate warming.’”

So, why aren’t coastal cities being flooded already?

Hmmm.

“In May 2019, a separate study suggested climate change could raise sea levels by as much as 7 feet by 2100.”

Wow…, it’s just study after study of “could” and “might.”

Back in the day, I think these would have been called theories…, but with the “new science,” theories along the preferred narrative are considered proven facts.

“Skeptics have largely dismissed fears over man’s impact on global warming, saying climate change has been going on since the beginning of time. They also claim the dangers of a warming planet are being wildly exaggerated and question the impact that fossil fuels have had on climate change.”

Exactly.

Call me a “skeptic” then.

I believe you can question “science” without being a “science denier.”

“Science” should be questioned…, that’s a part of the process, unless you’re talking about “the new science.”

“Houston, we have a problem.”

Kyle Mills, for Fox News, reports that, “As a thriller novelist, I expect to be terrified by the scenarios I explore. With bioweapons, terrorist attacks, and loose nukes as my daily companions, it takes a lot to get a rise out of me. But in researching my new book, ‘Total Power,’ I stumbled upon what I now believe to be America’s greatest weakness: Our electrical grid.”

“It’s been called the most complex machine in the world and that’s probably a fair description. Three thousand three hundred utility companies, fifty-five thousand individual substations, and two hundred thousand miles of transmission lines all coordinate to meet the country’s insatiable demand for power. Unfortunately, it’s this scope and complexity that makes us so vulnerable.”

“And this isn’t just a theoretical threat. In 2013, a meticulously planned attack was carried out on a substation near San Jose, California. It caused fifteen million dollars in damage and looked very much like a dry run for something bigger.”

“None of the perpetrators were ever caught and if they are indeed plotting something more ambitious, it could be unimaginably destructive.”

Well, that’s not good.

“According to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, only nine critical substations would have to be disabled to plunge the entire country into darkness for eighteen months or more. Nine. None of which likely have much more security than the San Jose facility.”

Again, that’s not good.

“COVID has given us all a glimpse into the dangers of not being prepared for a crisis. We now have some inkling as to what it would be like to try to survive without the machinery that makes modern society possible.”

I don’t really think the China virus is even a fair comparison to the prospect of being without electricity for an extended period of time.

With all due respect to the “pandemic,” we are all so dependent on power these days that most people would just not know what to do or which way to turn if the lights went out.

“Even more sobering is the cyberattacks. According to former Energy Secretary Rick Perry, malicious actors probe our systems hundreds of thousands of times a day.”

“One of the most serious incidents occurred in 2017 when Russian hackers penetrated deep enough to actually take control of parts of our grid. Based on testimony given to Congress by the director of the National Security Agency, a number of our enemies likely already have the ability to put the entire country in the dark.”

They, our enemies, must realize, however, that we also have the capability to put their countries in the dark, and much worse.  This is probably the only thing saving us right now.

“This all leads to an obvious question. What would happen if such an attack occurred?”

“Grocery stores would be emptied in a matter of days and, without power, replacement products could be neither manufactured nor transported.”

“Critical medication would no longer be available. There would be no air-conditioning or heat. Those who live in cities would be trapped.”

“Cars full of people trying to escape would clog the streets, permanently blocking them with vehicles that had run out of gas while waiting in endless traffic jams.”

“Then, a couple of weeks in, the systems that bring water to our homes would begin to fail. And while a human can survive for a surprisingly long time without food, we die within days without fluids.”

“This would also lead to a breakdown in basic sanitation, contaminating whatever water sources were still available. Disease would spread and violence would erupt as people became increasingly desperate.”

Have you seen the Mad Max movies?

I guess the only people who would be happy would be the climate change activists…, but that would only be for a short time, until they couldn’t use their phones or their microwaves.

“Normally, we could hunker down and wait for help from FEMA, the National Guard, and maybe even the U.S. military. But in a country-wide shut down, that help would never arrive.”

“All those organizations operate on the principle that they can stage from places that still have power. Hurricane Sandy was a perfect example of this. While devastating to the eastern seaboard, the rest of the country remained online and able to provide assistance.”

“R. James Woolsey Jr., the former director of the CIA, summed it up nicely: ‘If the power went out and stayed out for a year, between two-thirds and ninety percent of the American population would die. That’s more than both world wars and the bubonic plague combined.’”

I would have to concur with that assessment.

“Can we fix it? Yes. But not without a lot of commitment and money. We have to significantly improve our cybersecurity and create manual overrides in case our enemies find ways around those improvements.”

Obviously, whatever it would take would be worth it.

“We need to provide military bases with their own microgrids independent of the greater power supply.”

“We should incorporate renewables that remain operational when more traditional sources can’t be supplied with fuel or are forced to shut down for safety reasons.”

“We have to stockpile replacement parts that can be quickly distributed and installed.”

“Finally, substantial physical security will be required at the hundred or so substations that are absolutely critical to keeping America’s lights on.”

“The likelihood of one of our enemies mounting a significant military campaign against the American homeland is low. We have the most powerful armed forces in the world and our geographic isolation would be difficult to overcome. A surreptitious attack on our electrical infrastructure, though, is within easy reach.”

“Based on our own government’s risk assessment and the shortages we’ve experienced during the pandemic—insignificant compared to what we would lose in the absence of our power supply—it’s difficult to think of a higher priority than making our grid is secure.”

It’s a good thing for all of us that President Trump has recognized this threat and has taken steps to remedy it.

Per the energy.gov website, “President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order [on May 1, 2020], Securing the United States Bulk-Power System. The Executive Order authorizes the U.S. Secretary of Energy to work with the Cabinet and energy industry to secure America’s Bulk-Power System.”

“Today, President Trump demonstrated bold leadership to protect America’s bulk-power system and ensure the safety and prosperity of all Americans,” said Secretary Brouillette. ‘It is imperative the bulk-power system be secured against exploitation and attacks by foreign threats.  This Executive Order will greatly diminish the ability of foreign adversaries to target our critical electric infrastructure.’”

“Today’s Executive Order prohibits Federal agencies and U.S. persons from acquiring, transferring, or installing BPS equipment in which any foreign country or foreign national has any interest and the transaction poses an unacceptable risk to national security or the security and safety of American citizens. Evolving threats facing our critical infrastructure have only served to highlight the supply chain risks faced by all sectors, including energy, and the need to ensure the availability of secure components from American companies and other trusted sources.”

“Accordingly, under this Executive Order, the Secretary of Energy is authorized to do the following:”

“Establish and publish criteria for recognizing particular equipment and vendors as ‘pre-qualified.’”

“Identify any now-prohibited equipment already in use, allowing the government to develop strategies and work with asset owners to identify, isolate, monitor, and replace this equipment as appropriate.”

“Work closely with the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Homeland Security, Interior; the Director of National Intelligence; and other appropriate Federal agencies to carry out the authorities and responsibilities outlined in the Executive Order.”

“Additionally, a Task Force led by Secretary Brouillette will develop energy infrastructure procurement policies to ensure national security considerations are fully integrated into government energy security and cybersecurity policymaking. The Task Force will consult with the energy industry through the Electricity and Oil and Natural Gas Subsector Coordinating Councils to further its efforts on securing the BPS.”

Hopefully the powers that be will get past the talking and planning phases sooner than later and start implementing their safeguards before it is too late.

I’ll keep you posted on any progress that our government makes in insuring our power grid stays viable and secure.

Thank you, Captain Obvious!

Yes…, Captain Obvious, aka FBI Director Christopher Wray, stated, while appearing at a House Homeland Security Committee hearing, that “Antifa is a real thing.”

Reeeeeally?!

You don’t say?!

Thank you, thank you, for this brilliant insight Captain Obvious!

Can you possibly share anything else the FBI has learned?

That the earth is round?

That Chicago is a dangerous place?

That you ought to be fired, just like your fellow deep state partners in crime, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok?

That everyone in the prior Obama administration, including former President Obama himself, are guilty of treason?

Please, tell us something we don’t know, Captain Obvious!

Please tell us something we don’t know!

Acording to By Ronn Blitzer of Fox News, “Wray’s words were in response to Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., who claimed prominent Democrats have called Antifa a ‘fantasy.’”

Ha! “A fantasy?!”

More like a nightmare, I’d say.

“In July, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., had dismissed the idea of Antifa violence in Portland as ‘a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, D.C.’”

These democrats are all such pathetic liars.

And they love to try and talk you out of believing what your eyes are actually seeing.

China’s virus “crisis.”

“The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word ‘crisis.’ One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger–but recognize the opportunity.”  ― John F. Kennedy

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, “The Chinese government intentionally manufactured and released the COVID-19 virus that led to mass shutdowns and deaths across the world, a top virologist and whistleblower told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday.”

Wait, what?!

Let’s hear that again.

According to Sam Dorman of Fox News, “THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT INTENTIONALLY MANUFACTURED AND RELEASED THE COVID-19 VIRUS THAT LED TO MASS SHUTDOWNS AND DEATHS ACROSS THE WORLD A TOP VIROLOGIST AND WHISTLEBLOWER told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday.”

Well, if you’re a liberal, you can’t be much more credentialed than that…, a scientist and a whistleblower?!!!

It would appear that China calculated the DANGER of the virus to themselves, while recognizing the OPPORTUNITY to enhance their position on economic playing fields all around the world, and especially with the United States, and deemed this trade-off to be acceptable.

Even though the virus originated in China, China comes in ranked 41st for number of cases with 85,223 and only 4,634 deaths.

How could that be?

The US is ranked first in cases with 6.72 million cases and 200,000 deaths.

India is ranked second with 5.12 million cases and 83,200 deaths.

And Brazil is ranked third with 4.42 million cases and 34,000 deaths.

Is it coincidence that three of the top four democracies in the world ended-up being the hardest hit in the world, by far?

And that’s not to mention the collateral damage worldwide regarding the economic, social, general health and mental health impact to all of the countries around the world.

Just some food for thought.

“Carlson specifically asked Dr. Li-Meng Yan whether she believed the Chinese Communist Party released the virus ‘on purpose.’ ‘Yes, of course, it’s intentionally,’ she responded on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.’”

“Yan said more evidence would be released but pointed to her own high-ranking position at a World Health Organization [WHO] reference lab as a reason to trust her allegation.”

‘“So, together with my experience, I can tell you, this is created in the lab … and also, it is spread to the world to make such damage.’”

“Yan’s comments conflicted with the opinion of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and White House coronavirus adviser, who previously cast doubt on the idea the virus was artificially created. In May, he told National Geographic: ‘If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats, and what’s out there now is very, very strongly leaning toward this [virus] could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated — the way the mutations have naturally evolved.’”

Excuse me Dr. Fauci…, but you have no idea what the hell you’re talking about here.

You have absolutely no idea of what went on in that Wuhan lab.

And, you’re only throwing shade on the idea of the virus being man-made because you and your deep state friends are all a part of problem.

“Other scientists have also panned the idea that COVID-19 served as a sort of bioweapon or was released by a lab.”

On what basis have they “panned” the idea?

These other scientists also have absolutely no idea of what went on in that Wuhan lab, and should just keep their opinions to themselves.

You can always find a gaggle of “other scientists” who will either agree or disagree with whatever narrative you wish to promote.

We are all aware of this now, so citing scientific support really doesn’t add any value to your propaganda anymore.

Just sayin”.

“Fox News previously reported on Yan back in July, when she blew the whistle on China’s alleged attempts to suppress information about its handling of the virus. With a vast network of contacts in Chinese medical facilities, Yan attempted to gather more information about the virus as China blocked overseas experts from conducting research in the country.”

“Her revelations fueled ongoing complaints that the Chinese government failed to tell the world early on about the virus’ threat. Specifically, she believes the Chinese government ignored research that could have saved lives. The State Department did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.”

And the ever-complicit fake news media has, of course, chosen to ignore Dr. Li-Meng Yan, while choosing to support their good friends in the Chinese Communist Party.

“In response, her former employer, the University of Hong Kong, criticized her account. A press release noted ‘that the content of the said news report does not accord with the key facts as we understand them.’”

‘“Specifically, Dr Yan never conducted any research on human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus at [the University of Hong Kong] during December 2019 and January 2020, her central assertion of the said interview.’”

Please remember that the Chinese Communist party’s fake news is even faker than our own fake news…, so what was said there is to be completely expected.

“Yan, who said she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel coronavirus, fled China and currently fears retaliation. She was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the University/WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 to look into the odd cluster of SARS-like cases coming out of mainland China at the end of December 2019.”

Now, let’s dive a little deeper down the rabbit hole.

Why would the US have funded the controversial Wuhan lab?

Wait…, what?

That’s right…, the US funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility.

Wait…, say again.

The US funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility.

I ask you…, why in God’s name would we be funding anything the Chinese Communist Party is doing?!

In case you forgot, we are already in debt to China up to our eyeballs, and here we are funding the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology; the level four virus Chinese research facility?!!!

I keep feeling our government is incredibly stupid, but then I have to remember they only want us to think they’re inept, when in reality they are corrupt and calculating.

Justin Fendos, a professor at Dongseo University in South Korea, for The Diplomat, an international online news magazine, reports that “Newsweek recently put out some surprising reports that the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) had funded the controversial Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The WIV is the level four research facility suspected by some of being a possible source for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has already been on record confirming and defending this funding, saying it was ‘to protect American people from labs that aren’t up to standard.’”

Nice try Mike…, but I’m not biting on that one. Please don’t tell me that you are one of “them” too?!

“According to Newsweek, funding for the WIV occurred in two phases. The first took place from 2014 to 2019, through a $3.7 million project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses. This work was largely led by Dr. Zhengli Shi, known to many as ‘batwoman’ for her years investigating caves in search of new bat viruses.”

Okay, this phase I can understand, being started during Obama’s time in office.

“The second phase began shortly after, with another $3.7 million. Unlike the first, this project appears to have included work on ‘gain-of-function’ research that investigates how a virus can gain the ability to infect a new type of animal.”

Now this second phase is the one I don’t understand.  I’m guessing the Trump administration was just unaware of this funding, and now Pompeo is just trying to justify it somehow.

“Anyone with a vague sense of current events would, understandably, be concerned that COVID-19 might have been produced through this research.”

Ya think?!

“The connections to the NIH would also be unsettling, offering the possibility that the U.S. government may be complicit, having unnecessarily ‘outsourced’ dangerous research.”

Again, ya think?!

I’m not only “concerned” and “unsettled,” I’m disgusted and outraged.

“Although strong denials by both Chinese and American officials and several pieces of scientific research have concluded COVID-19 is not man-made, the connection between the NIH and WIV still behooves critical examination.”

Again, the obligatory denials and supportive research by the co-conspirators is to be expected.

“Why would the NIH want to fund the WIV to begin with?” Professor Fendos asks.

Yes…, exactly…, why would they?

Let’s take a look at the possible lame reasons they are prepared to offer!

“The first, and perhaps most important reason, may be just as Pompeo said: to help bring Chinese labs up to higher safety standards.”

Oh, yes!  This is a major concern of ours.  None of our other social programs in this country could use almost $8 million.  No, not at all.

“Another reason the NIH may have decided to provide funding is to help foster international cooperation and better communication.”

Oh, yes!  We can all see China’s increased willingness to cooperate now!

“A third reason could be the fact that the United States has long held a fierce debate about the ethics and risks of gain-of-function (GOF) research. Critics, such as Harvard epidemiologist Marc Lipsitch, have argued that such work ‘entails a unique risk that a laboratory accident could spark a pandemic, killing millions.’”

Would that include an intentional “laboratory accident?”

“Unfortunately, from the public’s perspective, reports about the connection between the NIH and WIV are at risk of feeding conspiracy theory fires. With some Chinese officials already blaming the United States for the pandemic and the Trump administration appearing intent on blaming China in return without divulging any decisive evidence, it is quite difficult, even for experts, to develop a fully-informed opinion about what exactly happened. And therein lies a dangerous problem: unanswered questions can only deepen peoples’ suspicions about science.”

“Feeding conspiracy theory fires?!

“Chinese officials blaming the United States for the pandemic?!

No “decisive evidence?!”

HOW CAN CHINA, WITH A STARIGHT FACE, POSSIBLY BLAME THE UNITED STATES FOR THIS VIRUS THAT ORIGINATED IN CHINA (MAN-MADE OR NOT) AND WAS INTENTIONALLY ALLOWED TO LEAVE CHINA AND INFECT THE REST OF THE WORLD?!!!!!!!!!

HOW?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Put simply, the circumstantial evidence surrounding the WIV and its connections to the NIH are a bad look for science.”

Not to mention the Chinese Communist Party and the liberal “deep state” in the United States.

And do you think using the term “bad look” is appropriate?

I was thinking more of a term like a “politically corrupt look,” or how about an “inexcusably evil look?”

“As the pandemic rages on, the worst possible thing is for the rumor mill to latch onto uncertainties and convince more people that the voice of science is not to be trusted.”

Translation: The worst possible thing would be for the whole ugly truth to come out about this virus.

“COVID-19 may have begun in a lab, or not. Either way, the only thing that remains certain is that science will be the brightest light guiding us out of the pandemic. Since there will be plenty of time to divvy blame later.”

I’m sorry professor, but there won’t be “plenty of time to divvy blame later” for the 941,000 people who have died from the China virus, so far.

Can we really question the presence of UFOs anymore?

Robert Gearty of Fox News reports that, “A former U.S. Navy fighter pilot spoke this month about what he says was an encounter with a ‘Tic Tac’-shaped UFO.”

“Retired Cmdr. David Fravor recalled the strange encounter off San Diego 16 years ago (in 2004) in a Sept. 8 podcast with MIT research scientist Lex Fridman.”

“Fravor says he was dispatched to investigate radar anomalies and later described what he saw as ‘like nothing I’ve ever seen’ – a Tic Tac-shaped object able to turn on a dime and make itself invisible to radar, New Zealand’s TV Channel 3 reported.”

“He was followed by other pilots who managed to catch it on video.  Clips were leaked in 2017 by a UFO research group, and formally declassified in 2020 by the Pentagon, according to the station.”

“This is not like, ‘we saw it and it was gone’, or ‘I saw lights in the sky and it’s gone’ – we watched this thing on a crystal clear day with four trained observers,’ Fravor said.”

“Fridman called Fravor ‘one of the most credible witnesses’ in the history of UFO research.”

Colin Drury, for the on-line British newspaper, “The Independent,” reported that, “[Navy pilot] Chad Underwood [who flew with Commander Fravor] broke 15 years of silence on the subject, describing the object he recorded over the Pacific Ocean as ‘not behaving within the normal laws of physics.’”

“He said: ‘It was going from like 50,000 feet to 100 feet in like seconds, which is not possible.’”

‘“It was just behaving in ways that aren’t physically normal. That’s what caught my eye. Because, aircraft, whether they’re manned or unmanned, still have to obey the laws of physics. They have to have some source of lift, some source of propulsion. The tic-tac was not doing that.’”

Commander Fravor also described his alien encounter while on the Tucker Carlson show, on the Fox News channel.

According to Commander Fravor, he and another jet were on a training mission off the coast of southern California, when their training was cancelled and they were redirected to another area to check out something that had shown up on the ship’s, the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz’s, radar.  After arriving at the target location, “Both of us, both airplanes, see a disturbance in the water, and a white 40 foot long tic-tac shaped object was hovering above the water.”

“It was going forward, back, left and right.  There was no rotor wash, no wings, nothing.”

“As we go down it starts to mirror us and we’re getting a great look at it.”

I decide to go see what it is, and as I get within a half mile of it, it rapidly accelerates and disappears.”

You can view the interview yourself at the link below and decide if you feel he is a credible witness or not.

Either he saw an alien craft or he didn’t.  I don’t think a case of mistaken identity is an option here.

You decide.

I don’t know about you, but Commander Fravor seems totally believable to me.

To me, the only question is, why isn’t this bigger news?

So, if we can’t explain something the mainstream media just ignores it?

Purposefully ignoring a newsworthy story is called propaganda by omission, which MrEricksonRules followers are already aware of.

But, what is the mainstream media hoping to gain by not covering this story?

The truth is out there…, but we’re not going to find it if we don’t even look for it.

Do you think police lives don’t matter?

Hopefully you’re not one of these pathetic, conscienceless, neo-fascists.

But, who do we have to blame for remaining silent about this abhorrent behavior?

Who do we have to blame for encouraging these brutal executions of innocent men and women, moms and dads, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, who are just out there doing their jobs and hoping to get home alive after their shift?

I’ve heard the agitators, paid and otherwise, cry for the death of all cops.

I’ve heard the racial parasites from BLM, the NAACP, the ACLU, and more, call for revenge against the police.

And I’ve heard the passive and silent liberal leaders and democrat politicians thusly condoning these actions.

These are the co-conspirators in the deaths and injuries to many of our law enforcement officers.

And make no mistake about it…, these are “hate crimes,” based solely on an individual wearing a police uniform.

If they’re white, all the better, but that’s not a definite prerequisite.

Let’s take a look at one of the big, bad, racist cops who was deemed worthy to be executed recently.

Her name is Claudia Apolinar.

Claudia Apolinar is smiling here for a photo with LASD Sheriff Alex Villanueva at her July 2019 graduation (Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Facebook).

She is a single mom who was a librarian before joining the police force only 14 months ago.

“According to Stephanie Pagones of Fox News, “One of the sheriff’s deputies ambushed Saturday night by a brazen gunman previously worked as a librarian before she applied to join the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department three years ago, according to a report.”

Describing this person as a “brazen gunman” seems too complimentary to me. I would use the words, cowardly, sub-human, and disgusting.

“Claudia Apolinar, who is being guarded by fellow members of the sheriff’s department while she and her partner – a 24-year-old deputy – continue to recover, worked as an aide in a Los Angeles Country library starting in 2011. In 2017, she applied to be a sheriff’s deputy, the Daily Mail reported.”

“Apolinar, who is a 31-year-old mother to a 6-year-old boy, and her partner were ambushed Saturday night while sitting in their car at a metro center in Compton. They were rushed to the hospital in serious condition.”

These cops weren’t harassing anybody.  They weren’t displaying any racist or socially unjust behavior.

They were just sitting there in their car.

For all we know, these two officers may be shining examples of what law enforcement officers should aspire to be.

But they were just randomly selected to be terminated…, just because they were cops.

“Moments after the shooting, the passenger door opens and a deputy stumbles out, hand on head, according to the newspaper. The driver-side door opens soon after.”

“Apolinar was struck multiple times in her face and torso but tended to her partner, who was also wounded after they were able to climb out of the police car.”

“In dispatch audio from the moments following the shooting, a weak-sounding voice can be heard saying: ‘998 Compton Pax,’ which is the code to signify a deputy-involved shooting, according to the Mail. When the dispatcher asks if it just happened, the barely-there voice reportedly responds: ‘Compton Pax, deputies down. Compton Pax 998.’”

“A reporter from local affiliate FOX LA shared a graphic image that shows the bloodied female deputy peering out from behind a pillar in the aftermath of the shooting.”

“Both deputies underwent surgery after the shooting Saturday evening and were expected to recover, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Sunday.”

To tell you the truth, I’m sick and tired of hearing about cops being shot, and seriously injured, or killed.

It’s way past the time that justice needs to be impressed upon these punks.

The cops are being forced to do their jobs with one, or even both, hands tied behind their backs.

It’s time we insist their hands be untied.

It may also be time to install bullet proof glass into these squad cars.

Just sayin’.

Has COVID-19 become an excuse for everything?

It seems that almost every company or governmental entity I have called for assistance the last few months always starts with the disclaimer, “due to the COVID-19 pandemic…”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic…:

…you may experience a longer wait time.

…we will not be able to take your call.

…we are limiting inquiries via email only.

…we are unable to guarantee you will receive a response at all.

…we won’t be able to do this.

…and we won’t be able to do that.

Please tell me why customer service should be affected…, when these people are on the phone and can work safely from their homes?

“He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.” —Benjamin Franklin

David Lazarus, Business Columnist for The Los Angeles Times reports, “Among the various things the COVID-19 pandemic has changed, and not for the better, is customer service. Just ask anyone who has tried to contact California’s Employment Development Department with questions about unemployment benefits.”

That goes for the Unemployment Benefits Departments in any state, as well.

“A study last year in the Harvard Business Review found that the average American consumer spends 13 hours a year stuck on hold trying to resolve problems.”

And that seems like a conservative estimate to me.

“A third of disgruntled customers have to make two or more calls to resolve their issue, the study said. Many just give up.”

“More than three-quarters of consumers come away ‘less than satisfied’ with a company’s customer service.”

“And to no one’s surprise, the study found that in many cases, companies design their customer service departments to prevent irate customers from solving their problems.”

Now wait a minute there, Mr. Lazarus, I am surprised by this.

Why would a company design their customer service to prevent customers from solving their problems?

‘“This structure, we argue, keeps a lid on the amount of redress customers are willing to seek,’ the researchers determined. ‘In other words, by forcing customers to jump through hoops, the organization helps curb its redress payouts.’”

Ohhh, I can see that…, but not all customers seeking help are looking to get money back.

What about these customers?

“The Harvard Business Review study found that the larger a company’s market share, the less it cares what customers think of it, in any case. It cited in particular ‘airlines, internet, cable and telephone service providers.’”

‘“This may help us understand why some of the most hated companies in America are so profitable and why customer service, unfortunately, remains so frustrating,’ the study concluded.”

And the COVID-19 pandemic was just sitting there as an excuse too good to pass up.
