Hey, President Obama!  Where you been?  You still trying to sell us all those lies?

I heard you gave a speech last Friday on “the state of American democracy.”

Of course that’s from your “swampy,” corrupt, anti-American, Black poser and Muslim perspective.  At least that’s from what I’ve heard!

I heard you had a crowd of about 750 college students.

You know, you can get a crowd of 750 college students to listen to just about anything, don’t you?

Do you know the last time President Trump had a crowd that small?

I don’t either.  Ha!

I actually think the smallest crowd he’s had was like 10,000-12,000.   His crowd sizes are usually around 15,000-20,000 plus, with people outside waiting to get in.

You urged Americans to vote this November because “American democracy depends on it.”  You really don’t want all “Americans” to vote, just the liberal sheep who fall for your crap.  Also, I think what you really meant to say is that “the swamp” depends on it.  Those looking to sell-out America and the American people like a pimp sells-out a cheap prostitute depend on it.

You also said that President Trump is “a symptom, not the cause” of the division in America today.  I wouldn’t say President Trump is a symptom of anything, but I would agree that he is not the cause of division in America.  I believe it is you who gets that honor Mr. Obama.  Divide and conquer, right?

You said, “We have been through much darker times than these, and somehow each generation of Americans carried us through to the other side.”  I would definitely have to agree with you there, except the “darker times” I’m referring to were your eight years in office.  And yes, “somehow” the voters in 2016 “carried us through to the other side.”  They carried us through to the side that actually put America and Americans first again.  They elected President Trump and chose to return America to her prior greatness.

Let’s look at, translate and fact check some other remarks from former President Obama’s speech:

Mr. Obama starts off his speech by trying to be funny, but he’s not.

He goes on to say, “It is good to be home.  It’s good to see corn.”  Somehow, I don’t think he’s really all that happy to see corn.  “I was trying to explain to somebody as we were flying in, that’s corn. That’s beans.  And they were very impressed at my agricultural knowledge.”

I’m impressed too!  That’s way more than you know about the economy, foreign policy!

“And truth was, I was also intent on following a wise American tradition.  Of ex-presidents gracefully exiting the political stage, making room for new voices and new ideas.”

The key word here was “was,” and Mr. Obama chose to NOT follow “a wise American tradition of ex-presidents gracefully exiting the political stage.”

Mr. Obama then proceeds to give all of these students a history lesson about America, which I’m sure they all actually needed.  It was probably the first time they heard about a lot of this stuff.  This part of his speech actually had some value, to that extent.

This is the way a lot of liberal speeches start.  They lay down a bunch of actual facts, and this then lends credibility by association to the hot mess which is about to follow.

He starts cutting to the chase.

“Of course, there’s always been another darker aspect to America’s story.”

I wonder what that “darker aspect” is?  I bet I can guess.  Is it anyone who disagrees with liberal thought or “the swamp” in general?

“There’s a reason why progress hasn’t been easy and why throughout our history every two steps forward seems to sometimes produce one step back.”

Ya, the reason is we still have a lot of people in this country with some common sense and at least half a brain!

“Each time we painstakingly pull ourselves closer to our founding ideals, that all of us are created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights; the ideals that say every child should have opportunity and every man and woman in this country who’s willing to work hard should be able to find a job and support a family and pursue their small piece of the American Dream; our ideals that say we have a collective responsibility to care for the sick and the infirm, and we have a responsibility to conserve the amazing bounty, the natural resources of this country and of this planet for future generations, each time we’ve gotten closer to those ideals, somebody somewhere has pushed back.”

Now Mr. Obama uses the old liberal trick of mixing in “founding ideals” with other ideas, making them seem like “founding ideals” as well.  And what’s this about hardworking people pursuing “their small piece of the American Dream?”  We know you like to limit the hardworking people to small pieces of the American Dream, while saving the big pieces for you and your friends, but that is definitely not part of the “founding ideals” either.

“The status quo pushes back.  Sometimes the backlash comes from people who are genuinely, if wrongly, fearful of change.  More often it’s manufactured by the powerful and the privileged who want to keep us divided and keep us angry and keep us cynical because that helps them maintain the status quo and keep their power and keep their privilege.”

That is so spot on!  Except it is him and his friends that represent the “status quo” now.  Then Mr. Obama uses the old liberal and fascist trick of accusing his opponents of doing the exact thing that he and his friends are doing.

“For those with unique skills or access to technology and capital, a global market has meant unprecedented wealth.  For those not so lucky, for the factory worker, for the office worker, or even middle managers, those same forces may have wiped out your job, or at least put you in no position to ask for a raise.  As wages slowed and inequality accelerated, those at the top of the economic pyramid have been able to influence government to skew things even more in their direction: cutting taxes on the wealthiest Americans, unwinding regulations and weakening worker protections, shrinking the safety net.  So you have come of age during a time of growing inequality, of fracturing of economic opportunity. And that growing economic divide compounded other divisions in our country: regional, racial, religious, cultural.”

Wow.  This last section is a lot to untangle.  First, Mr. Obama seems to be complaining about situations that either he created or that he presided over.  Then he somehow attacks and misrepresents our current economic upswing as a negative event, while using this as some kind of impetus for creating divisions in our country, which Mr. Obama actually perpetrated on the American people himself.  Of course, the biased mainstream fake news media will fail to point any of this out.

“It made it harder to build consensus on issues.  It made politicians less willing to compromise, which increased gridlock, which made people even more cynical about politics.”

I’m not sure exactly what the “it” is that he is referring to at this point, but I am sure that it was the democrats who abandoned the concept of building consensus when they rammed ObamaCare down our throats without one republican voting for it or anyone reading it.

“And then the reckless behavior of financial elites triggered a massive financial crisis, ten years ago this week, a crisis that resulted in the worst recession in any of our lifetimes and caused years of hardship for the American people, for many of your parents, for many of your families.”

Yes, the reckless behavior of financial elites triggered a massive financial crisis.  But they were only taking advantage of a system that you and your friends had established.  And then to add insult to injury, we bailed them out, and not one of them went to jail.  In fact, most of the big wigs got bonuses while they got bailed out.  Only in “the swamp’s” America!

“And by the time I left office, household income was near its all-time high and the uninsured rate had hit an all-time low and wages were rising and poverty rates were falling.  I mention all this just so when you hear how great the economy’s doing right now, let’s just remember when this recovery started.”

Yeah, don’t we all remember how awesome the economy was when you left?  Revisionist history is a beautiful thing, isn’t it Mr. Obama?  In one fell swoop, it seems like you’re using this speech to try and change history in many ways while trying to make yourself and your “swampy” friends look like the heroes you definitely are not.

“I mean, I’m glad it’s continued, but when you hear about this economic miracle that’s been going on, when the job numbers come out, monthly job numbers, suddenly Republicans are saying it’s a miracle.  I have to kind of remind them, actually, those job numbers are the same as they were in 2015 and 2016.”

I’m shaking my head right now as I’m wondering what “numbers” you might have been looking at.  I think you might have been looking at a line chart that was upside down!  Anyway, how can you say this when in 2016 you said this:

“…And so what we have to do is to make sure that folks are trained for the jobs that are coming in now…, because some of those jobs of the past are just not gonna come back.  And when somebody says…, like the person you just mentioned (Donald Trump), who I’m not gonna advertise for, that he’s gonna bring all these jobs back, well, how exactly are you gonna do that?  There’s no answer to it.  He just says, ‘I’m gonna negotiate a better deal.’  Well, what.., how exactly are you going to negotiate that?  What magic wand do you have?”

How can you say on one hand that these jobs aren’t coming back, and that we need some kind of “magic wand” to fix the economy, but then take credit for some sort of imaginary good economy at the time, at the same time?

I know it can be hard to keep all of the lies, excuses and fairy tales straight, but this is kind of obvious isn’t it?

“And these challenges get people worried. And it frays our civic trust. And it makes a lot of people feel like the fix is in and the game is rigged, and nobody’s looking out for them.”

Oh, our civic trust was frayed alright.  For the last thirty to forty years nobody was looking out for “us,” as our jobs were shipped overseas and these idiotic trade deals were put in place, which benefitted every country except “us.”  And as far as feeling like “the fix is in and the game is rigged,” we only have to look at the concerted effort against President Trump by “the swamp,” the DOJ, the FBI, the biased mainstream fake news media and the whole Hillary crowd to validate that notion.

“And even though your generation is the most diverse in history, with a greater acceptance and celebration of our differences than ever before, those are the kinds of conditions that are ripe for exploitation by politicians who have no compunction and no shame about tapping into America’s dark history of racial and ethnic and religious division.  (Bingo!  Well that describes you and all of your democrat friends alright!)  Appealing to tribe (What does this mean “appealing to tribe?’  This is some new liberal-speak that I’m not familiar with.), appealing to fear, pitting one group against another, telling people that order and security will be restored if it weren’t for those who don’t look like us or don’t sound like us or don’t pray like we do, that’s an old playbook.  It’s as old as time.  (It sure is an “old playbook,” and old liberal playbook.) And in a healthy democracy it doesn’t work.  A politics of fear and resentment and retrenchment takes hold.  And demagogues promise simple fixes to complex problems.  They promise to fight for the little guy even as they cater to the wealthiest and the most powerful.  (Again, trying to lay all of this at the feet of President Trump, when the democrats have been doing this for decades).  The democrats have been “demagoging” the issues faced by African Americans since the 60’s, and where has it gotten the African American community?  It’s not pretty when you think about it, is it?  Like President Trump said to the African American community about giving him a chance, “What in the hell do you have to lose?”

“So neither party has had a monopoly on wisdom, neither party has been exclusively responsible for us going backwards instead of forwards. But over the past few decades, the politics of division, of resentment and paranoia has unfortunately found a home in the Republican Party.”

Oh really?  That’s funny Mr. Obama.  I guess perception really is reality, because I was just going to say the same thing about the Democrat Party!  I think if we take a closer look at that statement, most of “us” would agree with me.

“It’s not conservative.  It sure isn’t normal.  It’s radical.”   (Yes, it’s very radical.  It’s radical to the point of promoting socialism.  It’s radical to the point of wanting to eliminate our Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) forces.  It’s radical to the point of basically wanting open borders to our country.  It’s radical to the point of wanting to grant illegal immigrants the same rights, or more rights, than American citizens.)  It’s a vision that says the protection of our power and those who back us is all that matters, even when it hurts the country.  It’s a vision that says the few who can afford a high-priced lobbyist and unlimited campaign contributions set the agenda.”

Are we talking about Hillary Clinton here, who ran a billion dollar campaign on other people’s money, or even yourself?  You were no slouch yourself when it came to grabbing campaign money, then kicking-back money later to bogus programs and companies.  Does anybody remember Solyndra?

“They’re undermining our alliances, cozying up to Russia.”

Here, again, uh, excuse me, but who was cozying up to Russia?  Whose administration did nothing about this supposed Russian interference with the 2016 election?  Whose administration sold 20% of our uranium reserves to Russia?  Who said to the president of Russia in 2012: “This is my last election.  After my election I will have more flexibility.”  “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” Medvedev said, referring to incoming President Vladimir Putin.

I’m just a daily blogger.  Are there no journalists out there that feel any of this is worth pointing out?  Apparently not.

“Republicans who know better in Congress, and they’re there, they’re quoted saying, Yeah, we know this is kind of crazy, are still bending over backwards to shield this behavior from scrutiny or accountability or consequence.”

Who exactly are “bending over backwards to shield their behavior from scrutiny or accountability or consequence?”  Mr. Obama has no shame completely flipping around the actual circumstances.  It is republican members of this Congress who are pushing every day for the accountability of the actions of members of the DOJ and the FBI regarding their unlawful spying on President Trump and their treasonous behavior to undermine his presidency.

“These are extraordinary times.  And they’re dangerous times.  (Ya, dangerous for the treasonous “swamp” scum like yourself!)  But here’s the good news. In two months we have the chance, not the certainty but the chance, to restore some semblance of sanity to our politics.”  (You mean the type of sanity brought to us by the likes of Nancy Pelosi or Maxine waters?)

“We know that people are tired of toxic corruption, and that democracy depends on transparency and accountability.  (That’s exactly why “crooked” Hillary Clinton lost the election in 2016.)  So Democrats aren’t just running on good old ideas like requiring presidential candidates to release their tax returns, and barring lobbyists from making campaign contributions, but on good new ideas like barring lobbyists from getting paid by foreign governments.  (If this last sentence weren’t so hypocritically sad, it could actually be funny.)  We know that climate change isn’t just coming. It is here.  (Yes, the climate changes from year to year, from month to month, from week to week, and day by day.  And like I said earlier, people with common sense and at least half a brain know there is nothing we can do to effect the weather one way or another.)  Democrats aren’t just running on good old ideas like increasing gas mileage in our cars, but on good new ideas like putting a price on carbon pollution.  (Ah yes.  Let’s put us and our companies at a disadvantage with regulations no one else in the world will be willing to follow.)

“And Democrats talk about reforming our immigration so, yes, it is orderly and it is fair and it is legal, but it continues to welcome strivers and dreamers from all around the world.”

Yes, we know all about how you and the rest of the democrats want to reform immigration, and there is nothing “orderly” or “fair” about it.

“That’s why I’m a Democrat, that’s the set of ideas that I believe in.

“I’m here to tell you that you should still be concerned with our current course and should still want to see a restoration of honesty and decency and lawfulness in our government.”

I cannot actually believe I hear those words coming out of your mouth!  You want to see “a restoration of honesty and decency and lawfulness in our government.”  Let me remind you of a few names, like Lynch, Rice, Clinton, Comey, Brennan, Yates, Clapper, Rosenstein, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr, Weissmann, and even the name Obama.  Some or all of these people in jail would be a good start on “restoration of honesty and decency and lawfulness in our government.”

“It should not be Democratic or Republican, it should not be a partisan issue to say that we do not pressure the Attorney General or the FBI to use the criminal justice system as a cudgel to punish our political opponents.”

That’s funny, coming from you, since you apparently “weaponized” the FBI against President Trump.  That’s also funny coming from you, since you manipulated Loretta Lynch and Susan Rice like a couple of puppets on a string while they were in your service.

Isn’t this fun when there’s someone like me around to help you jog your memory?

“It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say that we don’t threaten the freedom of the press because, they say things or publish stories we don’t like.”

It’s not a matter of “liking” or not “liking” Mr. Obama, it’s a matter of responding to false stories.  It’s a matter of sounding an alarm when no stories appear because of biased protectionism.  It’s a matter of calling out “news” that is really propaganda.

“I complained plenty about Fox News, but you never heard me threaten to shut them down, or call them enemies of the people.”

Here again sir, you actually went further than to threaten Fox News or call them names.  You actually had your weaponized FBI spy on one of its reporters, and his family, and you tried to shut him down.  You don’t recall that?  Again, I’m glad to be here to help you recall things correctly here and there.

“It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say we don’t target certain groups of people based on what they look like or how they pray.  We are Americans.  We’re supposed to standup to bullies.  Not follow them.”

I’m sure you mean that we shouldn’t target people based on their political beliefs as well, right?  Like Maxine Waters has called on people to attack and harass conservatives? Is that the kind of “bullying” you’re referring to?

“We need majorities in Congress and state legislatures who are serious about governing and want to bring about real change and improvements in people’s lives.”

Exactly!  Except we need republican majorities, not democrat majorities, to make sure we continue President Trump’s policies which have brought about “real change and improvements in people’s lives.”

“You’ve got to vote.  If you support the #MeToo movement, you’re outraged by stories of sexual harassment and assault inspired by the women who shared them, you’ve got to do more than retweet a hashtag. You’ve got to vote.”

If I’m not mistaken, all, or most, of these sexual harassers and assaulters were liberal members of the elite entertainment business or liberal members of the elite biased media.  Were they not?  Why would voting for liberal democrats be any type of antidote for that situation?  Wouldn’t a vote for democrats just be promoting that kind of behavior?  Just sayin’.

“Part of the reason women are more vulnerable in the workplace is because not enough women are bosses in the workplace, which is why we need to strengthen and enforce laws that protect women in the workplace not just from harassment but from discrimination in hiring and promotion, and not getting paid the same amount for doing the same work.  That requires laws.  Laws get passed by legislators.”

Blah, blah women, blah blah blah women.  Women blah blah blah. Wasn’t it discovered that women in your White House were not getting equal pay for equal work or for equal position levels?  Huh.  There I go, helping you remember things correctly again.  As I go through your speech to these impressionable young minds, I’m finding more of your points require correction than those that don’t.  In fact, I’m finding that most of your points are being misremembered of misrepresented.

That’s the good old President Obama I know!

“When you vote, you’ve got the power to make sure white nationalists don’t feel emboldened to march with their hoods off or their hoods on in Charlottesville in the middle of the day.”

Do we also have the power to make sure that masked ANTIFA terrorists don’t feel emboldened?  Do we Mr. Obama, huh, Do we?  I’m sure you forgot to refer to ANTIFA by accident, huh?

Of course reading former President Obama’s words does not give the proper sense of being spoken down to that needs to be imparted.

Former President Obama’s speeches are special that way.  He talks down to his audience, while being fairly ignorant about any practical topic himself.

He stands there and lies right to the face of his audience with no apparent shame.

And he exudes an air of arrogance which he has no business throwing at us.

In my opinion, Mr. Obama was inept, corrupt and a failure as a president.

I think we would all be better off if Mr. Obama had chosen, and chooses in the future, to follow “a wise American tradition of ex-presidents gracefully exiting the political stage.”

Hilariously stupid quotes, lies and a corrupt liberal scheme that wasn’t meant to be heard.

Remember, the first word in “hilariously” is Hillary!  Let’s start off with a quote by our favorite “crooked” former first lady.

“Look, the average democrat voter is just plain stupid.  They’re easy to manipulate.  That’s the easy part.” – Senator Hillary Clinton, 2005

“African-Americans watch the same news at night that ordinary Americans do.” – Former President Bill Clinton

“Unemployment creates jobs. – House Minority leader, Representative Nancy Pelosi

“I predict the ice caps will melt by 2014.” – Former Vice-President Al Gore, December of 2009.

“Anybody not willing to accept the results of an election is a danger to democracy.” – Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton

What magic wand do you have?” – Former President Barack Obama, June of 2016

“Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s businesses and corporations that create jobs.” – Hillary Clinton

“I have to march because my mother could not have an abortion.” – Representative Maxine Waters

“Building a wall will violate the rights of millions of illegals.” – House Minority leader, Representative Nancy Pelosi

“If you like your plan you can keep your plan.  If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” – Former President Barack Obama, on numerous occasions during 2009.

“Employers cutting hours is a good thing.  It then gives that person time to pursue their dreams and passions.” – House Minority leader, Representative Nancy Pelosi

“I will not sign a (health care) plan that adds one dime to our deficit.” – Former President Barack Obama, September 9, 2009

And…

In a private conversation that was caught by a “hot microphone,” about the planned U.S.-led NATO missile defense system in Europe, former President Barack Obama asked, while whispering to, outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for space on the issue.

“This is my last election,” Obama told Medvedev in 2012.  “After my election I will have more flexibility.”

“I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” Medvedev said, referring to incoming President Vladimir Putin.

Tell me again who we’re investigating for colluding with the Russians?

law abiding illegal aliens

Is it a New York Times Opinion-Editorial (Op-Ed) piece about President Trump or a steaming pile of cow manure?  It’s a steaming pile of fresh cow manure…, and it stinks!

On Tuesday, September 5, 2018, The New York Times published an article in its “opinion” section titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.”

The Times opens by saying, “The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay.  We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure.  We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here.”

“The essay” begins by saying, “I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.”

After having read the op-ed, here is my take on it: I don’t believe it was written by a “senior official in the Trump administration.”  I believe that this is a contrived and phony, fake news, piece of garbage that some or someone over at (the failing) New York Times is going to hang over.

Either The New York Times was duped into publishing this fake essay, or worse, they are responsible for propagating this fake essay.

IF, by some chance, this essay was actually written by a “senior official in the Trump administration,” then this individual and their “like-minded colleagues” are acting treasonously, in my opinion, if they have “vowed to thwart parts of his (President Trump’s) agenda and his worst inclinations (in their opinion),” as they say they have.

On Wednesday night, the following night, President Trump tweeted a demand that if “the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also called on the “coward” who wrote the piece to “do the right thing and resign.”

The President has every right be upset and concerned about this article, and I agree with him that The New York Times needs to reveal their source (the author of this essay) for National Security reasons.

President Trump then tweeted Thursday morning that, “The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy – & they don’t know what to do.”

I agree Mr. President.  “The Swamp” is desperate, and they are desperately trying to undermine you anyway possible.

Our “swampy” friend, Former CIA Director John Brennan, called the op-ed “active insubordination … born out of loyalty to the country.”

It is “insubordination” at best, and more likely treason in reality.  I just have a problem with who or what Brennan and the rest of “loyalists” recognize as “the country.”   Is “the country” represented by the person who was overwhelmingly elected to be The President and all of his appointees and supporters, or is “the country” represented by these members of “the swamp,” most of whom were not elected by anybody, but who feel they know better than the rest of us?

The anonymous author, claiming to be part of the “resistance” to President Trump, goes on to say, “Working diligently from within his administration, many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.”

What exactly are these “democratic institutions” they are trying to preserve?  What “democratic institution” is President Trump trying to do away with exactly?

The “institutions” of self-serving politicians and self-serving government employees?

The “institutions” of DOJ and FBI officials that feel they should be allowed operate above the law?

The “institutions” of corrupt and inept VA and IRS officials?

Are these the “democratic institutions” they are trying to preserve?

The anonymous author, and potential traitor, goes on to say, “It may be cold comfort in this chaotic era, but Americans should know that there are adults in the room.  We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what’s right even when Donald Trump won’t.”

What?!  What a bunch of arrogant and self-aggrandizing traitors, if they actually exist.  They are going to take it upon themselves to do us the favor of “trying to do what’s right,” in their opinion, by undermining the person who was actually elected to lead our country.  Amazing.

The author is obviously a “swampy” liberal when they say:

“In addition to his mass-marketing of the notion that the press is the ‘enemy of the people,’ President Trump’s impulses are generally anti-trade and anti-democratic.”

Who would debate that a “press” that lies to the people and propagandizes to the people is not an enemy of the real American people?  Who defends the “biased mainstream press” besides the “biased mainstream press?”

Who believes that President Trump’s “impulses are generally anti-trade and anti-democratic?”  President Trump is not anti-trade, he’s anti-bad trade.  President Trump offered to remove all tariffs to the European Union.  They are the ones who declined to do so.  I’m not even sure what they perceive “anti-democratic to mean.

The author sings the praises of the late Senator John McCain, the poster boy for term limits, as the model of honorable government service.  Again, confirming the author is either a liberal, a closet liberal, or a republican in name only (RINO).

“The root of the problem is the president’s amorality.  Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making.”

If you have listened to President Trump at all over the last two and a half years, you would know that he is tightly “moored” to a handful of core principles.  Principles like “putting the American people, and the forgotten people in America first again, making America wealthy again, making America strong again, making America respected again, making America safe again, and making America great again.  I would say those are some pretty discernable principles that guide his decision making.

What were President Obama’s guiding principles by the way?

Making America confused about which bathroom to go into?

Bending over to any country that wants to challenge America?

Treating illegal immigrants better than American citizens?

Taking advantage of every racial incident in an effort to drive another wedge between blacks and whites?

Are these the types of principles our author yearns for?

Our author recognizes that Trump’s administration has been able to accomplish effective deregulation, historic tax reform and historic military support, but our author also feels that, “These successes have come despite of, not because of, the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.”

The author’s level of confusion here is quite impressive!

Yes, President Trump’s administration has been able to accomplish these things, and much more.  Somehow I don’t think any of these positive economic and foreign policy outcomes would be happening at all without President Trump as the driving force behind them.

Our author whines about The President changing his mind, as if it wasn’t his right to do so, and also writes, “In public and in private, President Trump shows a preference for autocrats and dictators, such as President Vladimir Putin of Russia and North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, and displays little genuine appreciation for the ties that bind us to allied, like-minded nations.”

“Shows a preference for autocrats and dictators” how?  If I’m not mistaken, President Trump has met with Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un a grand total of one time each.  He talks nicely of them because he wants to promote a more positive relationship in the future.  Is our author to ignorant to understand this?

President Trump is also more critical of our allies because he expects more out of them, and because they have been taking advantage of us for quite a few years. “Genuine appreciation” is a two-way street, and we have been the only ones worthy of any appreciation for quite some time.

“This isn’t the work of the so-called deep state. It’s the work of the steady state.”

No, it’s actually the work of a bunch of inept and/or corrupt traitors, if this is actually the case.

Our author closes by saying, “The bigger concern is not what Mr. Trump has done to the presidency but rather what we as a nation have allowed him to do to us. We have sunk low with him and allowed our discourse to be stripped of civility.”

Uh, hello?  Excuse me.  Who is “stripping the civility” of who?

Our duly elected president, his wife, his family and his administration have been under constant attack by the biased mainstream media since day one.

President Trump was right on when he said, “The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy – & they don’t know what to do.”

“The swamp” doesn’t know what to do next.  This is merely their latest attempt at throwing more manure at the wall to see if it will stick.

In my opinion, The New York Times is stuck between a rock and a hard place.  I don’t believe they have an actual source, so it would be hard to name them.  And I also believe it is hard to argue that this person and their friends are not national security risks and need to be identified.  It should be a fun couple of months until the midterm elections.

Hang in there Mr. President.  A lot of people out here have your back, and we’re not falling for the biased mainstream media’s crap anymore.

From Hip Hop to Country, from R&B to Rock, from Spiritual to Pop and whatever else.  Here’s Mr. Erickson’s Favorite Music!

I grew up in the vinyl age.  33’s and 45’s.  8-track tapes were next, and were soon followed by cassette tapes.  Next came CDs, and now digitally stored music.

I went from your basic radio and turn table with two speakers during the 60’s and 70’s, to crazy sound systems with a receiver, turntable, cassette recorder and large high-end speakers during the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. At the same time we had tape players in our cars and boom boxes for just hanging out.  Now, of course, we have our phones.

Music is a funny thing.  Who knows why a certain artist or a certain song makes a connection with us?  Many songs are tied to memories, people, or places we’ve known during the course of our lives.

Like they say, “Music is the soundtrack to our lives.”

It could also be the soundtrack OF our lives, I guess.

Any of these “favorite” lists are really only a snapshot at any given time.  This list would have looked much different forty years ago, twenty years ago, five years ago, and even a week ago.

Let me know what song you just can’t believe IS NOT on my list.

More of my favorite quotes, which all happen to be by one amazing dancer and actress.

(Referring to her dance partner, Fred Astaire)  I do everything the man does, only backwards and in high heels!” – Ginger Rogers

“You’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything.” – Ginger Rogers

“The only way to enjoy anything in this life is to earn it first.” – Ginger Rogers

Rogers was born in Missouri and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas.  She won a dance contest in 1925 which launched her dancing career.  Ginger was a Republican and a devout Christian Scientist.  She was married five times, with all of her marriages ending in divorce; she had no children.  During her long career, Ginger Rogers made 73 films, and her musical films with Fred Astaire are credited with revolutionizing the genre during the 1930s and 1940s.  Rogers was a major movie star during the Golden Age of Hollywood, and is an American icon.  Ginger died in 1995 at the age of 83.

So what’s all this “monkey business” I’ve been hearing all about?

Ok.  Here we go again, for the benefit of our slow liberal friends and/or closet racists, and those of us who see everything through a racial prism everywhere.

All of this “monkey business” has been brought to the forefront by liberal politicians and their supporting biased mainstream media friends who love to try and play the race card whenever and wherever they can.

Last week, Republican Florida gubernatorial candidate, Representative Ron DeSantis urged Florida voters not to “monkey this [election] up” by voting for his Democrat opponent Andrew Gillum (who happens to be a black man).

DeSantis has already come out and stated that his comment had “zero to do with race,” adding, “I don’t care what color you are.”

That didn’t help him to avoid numerous racially driven responses, however:

“It’s disgusting that Ron DeSantis is launching his general election campaign with racist dog whistles,” Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Terrie Rizzo said in a statement.

Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele and Fox News’s Sandra Smith also condemned DeSantis’s comments.

“It’s how white folks talk about black men who are successful,” Steele said on MSNBC’s “Meet the Press.”

(And how exactly would you know this Mr. Steele?  Can you cite any examples?  Do you have any quotes?  Or is this something that floats around in your racist head?  BINGO!)

Smith, speaking on behalf of the network on Wednesday, said, “We do not condone this language and wanted to make our viewers aware that he has since clarified his statement.”

(What exactly is it about this language that you or your network don’t “condone” Ms. Smith?  If you’re willing to make some racial leap here, go ahead, but just to let you know that most of us out here aren’t taking that leap with you.)

Gillum, himself, responded by saying, “He doesn’t need to apologize to me, he needs to apologize to Florida voters, because if he thinks that those kind of shenanigans are going to be persuasive enough in this midterm election to turn their way, I think he’s badly mistaken.”

(When someone refers to “monkey” this or “monkey that,” and you equate that statement to a black person somehow, I believe that’s on you.)

Here are some common “monkey” phrases and their meanings:

Monkey business

Broadly speaking, monkey business refers to fooling around or any sort of mischievous behavior.

Monkey wrench

The exact reasons why this adjustable wrench ended up being called a monkey wrench are still disputed. “Throwing a monkey wrench into the works” implies we are disrupting or causing problems to a plan or an activity.

Monkey see, monkey do

This phrase refers to an example of basic imitation, in which the imitator copies another but does not actually understand what the other person is doing.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys

Apparently because monkeys are perceived as being fun or funny.  Not sure where the barrel part came from.

Well, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!

Used to express surprise or disbelief.  It is believed this phrase dates back to 1925, the year of the Scopes Monkey trial, a landmark court case in Tennessee over the legality of teaching evolution in a state-funded school. This phrase is usually regarded as a sarcastic response to Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution.

A monkey on one’s back

Although this phrase started off specifically referring to some kind of a drug problem, monkey referring to the addiction or the symptoms of withdrawal, it eventually came to refer to any problem or issue that was a burden to someone.

Monkeying around

Playing around or goofing off.

Grease monkey

A mechanic.

Making a monkey out of someone

To do something that makes someone seem stupid or ridiculous.

Monkey suit

Usually a tuxedo. Possibly in reference to the fancy suits worn by an organ-grinder’s monkey.

Monkey with something or somebody

To mess around with something or somebody.

Monkey something up

To mess something up or screw something up.

Well, there you have it.  A fairly complete list of “monkey” related sayings in our lexicon.

Hey, did you think about a black person at all when reading through the list?  I didn’t, and I don’t think most people would either.

Like I said, when someone refers to “monkey” this or “monkey that,” and they equate that statement to a black person somehow, I believe that’s on them, and if the shoe fits….

The weather from one month does not a major climate change make!

A recent headline from our beloved Editorial Board at USA TODAY announced that, “A hellish July validates climate change forecasts.”

(Can you say “o-v-e-r  r-e-a-c-t-i-o-n?”)

“With the cost of climate change to the U.S. economy averaging $240 billion a year, according to a Universal Ecological Fund study last year, America can’t afford not to act.”

(So…, your supposed “climate change” costs us $240 billion a year?  I’d love to know how they arrived at this figure or where it came from.  The problem is, even IF we are suffering the effects from a climate change, man-made or not, what are you proposing we do about it?  How are we supposed to “act?”  What specifically can we do that would affect our climate one way or another, drastically enough, that it would affect our planet’s weather patterns?  The truth is there is nothing we can do or any amount of money that we could spend that would make one bit of difference in our planet’s overall climate.)

“This month’s (July of 2018) weather has been downright hellish in parts of the United States and across the globe, providing further evidence that the impact of climate change is no longer relegated to starving polar bears and shrinking ice caps.”

(Ok.  Here we go with the ice caps and polar bears…, again!  Granted, we’re having a warm summer, but it happens.  The weather changes from year to year.  That’s the way it is.  Oh, and by the way, there are more Polar Bears out there than EVER before, and the whole ice thing is just global warming propaganda.  Why do you think they subtly changed their catch phrase from “global warming” to “climate change?”)

The article makes references to “deadly wildfires scorching California and other Western states,” (We’ve never seen that before!) “an all-time high of 111 degrees recorded at UCLA,” (All-time high temperatures are recorded all of the time. What year was the previous all-time high recorded?  Were you sounding the “climate change” alarm then?) “a record 16.4 inches of rain in Baltimore,”  (Just like with the all-time temperature, the same principle applies to inches of rain.  Were you sounding the “climate change” alarm then?)  “Africa recorded its highest reliably recorded temperature in modern history: 124.3 degrees in Algeria,” (Sooo, you’re saying that it was warmer prior to modern history?  And which recorded temperatures aren’t reliable by the way?  And why would they be recorded?) Oh and “Torrential rains flooded Japan and collapsed a dam in Laos, killing hundreds.”  (Again, we’ve never seen heavy rains collapse a dam before either.)

USA TODAY goes on to say that, “While no single event can be attributed to human-induced climate change, these are precisely the types of extreme weather that become significantly more likely because of it.”

(OK, I’m confused.  Are you blaming all of this stuff on “human-induced climate change” or not?  I guess you’re saying from a responsible scientific perspective, not really, but from your liberal-whacko perspective, yes!)

(These guys really crack me up.  They also say they have groundbreaking studies that show people work slower in the heat and that people use more air-conditioning when it’s hot.  No way!!)

According to Nicola Davis, a reporter for “The Guardian,” from a 2017 article, “Volcanic eruptions triggered global warming 56 million years ago, a study reveals.  A dramatic period of global warming 56 million years ago that saw temperatures climb by up to five degrees and triggered extinctions of marine organisms was tied to volcanic eruptions, researchers have revealed, in a study they say offers insights into the scale and possible impact of global warming today.”

If I have my history right, there weren’t any factories or cars around 56 million years ago.  There weren’t any humans around either for that matter.  So how did global warming occur without the evil humans there to cause it?

Exactly.

If you question these peoples’ beliefs, you are labeled a “climate change denier,’ and looked at as though you had three heads and eight arms!  Just let me remind you that these highfalutin weather people can’t even get the weather forecast right from one day to the next most times!

Remember, a good liberal never lets facts get in the way of a desired narrative!

Stay thirsty my friends…, but remember, don’t drink the Kool Aide!

Say-Global-Warning-1

“Heil Zuckerberg!” “Heil, mein Führer!” “Heil FacenBooken!”

According to Rob Price of Business Insider, “Conservative Facebook employees are organizing to attack the liberal company’s ‘intolerant’ culture.”

“More than 100 politically conservative Facebook employees have formed a new internal group to complain that the famously liberal company is “intolerant” of opposing political thought, according to a report from The New York Times.”

(It’s funny how when conservatives have broached and suggested this possibility in the past, they have been “Pooh pooed” and dismissed out of hand.  Well, not so fast, I guess.)

“The new group, ‘FB’ers for Political Diversity,’ was reportedly created in the last week, and came after senior Facebook engineer Brian Amerige wrote in an internal post viewable only by company employees that ‘we are a political monoculture that’s intolerant of different views … we claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack — often in mobs — anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology.’”

(And these are the same people who are currently warning us about midterm election interference, and pointing their fingers at a “covert Russian campaign?  That’s what Jessica Guynn of USA TODAY reported, at least.  Maybe these Facebook “muckety mucks,” that has a nice swampy ring to it, doesn’t it, should look into that big “election interference” mirror and see who’s really doing the interfering?)

“Facebook has grappled with dissenting conservative employees before, and banned an anonymous group used by them in 2016.”

(Facebook obviously does not “get it.”  Hello!  This is America!  You shouldn’t be “grappling” with dissenting employee opinions.  Since when does a company get to force its political views down the throats of its employees!?  Since when does a company get to discriminate against employees whose political views don’t match those of their management team?  Maybe since people marched around shouting “Sieg Heil!?”  Could that maybe be since when Herr Zuckerberg?)

“Silicon Valley, the heart of the American tech industry, is largely liberal, and has been fraught with allegations of bias in Trump’s America.”

(“Fraught with allegations!”  Where there is smoke there usually is fire.)

“In July 2017, Google found itself at the center of a political firestorm (See, I told you you’d find fire!) after engineer James Damore wrote an internal post decrying what he characterized as ‘Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber,’ in which he attacked the company’s diversity efforts.  Some conservatives also allege, that social media firms are deliberately silencing and censoring non-liberal voices on their platforms.”

“Let me control the media and I will turn any nation into a herd of pigs.” – Nazi Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbels

On Tuesday, President Trump accused Google of “silencing” conservative news publications in its search results.

USA TODAY went on to report, “The fact is Russia meddled in our 2016 elections.  That is the unambiguous judgment of our intelligence community and, as the president said, we accept the intelligence community’s conclusion,” Vice President Mike Pence said at a government-hosted cyber summit in New York Tuesday. “While no actual votes were changed, any attempt to interfere in our elections is an affront to our democracy, and it will not be allowed.”

(Yes, Mr. Vice President, and the fact, in my opinion, is that many others meddled in the 2016 election as well.  From the Obama administration to the Department of “Justice,” from the FBI to the DNC, from the CIA to the Clinton campaign, and from the biased mainstream media to those who control social media.)

“Facebook has intensified efforts to identify and remove bad actors after the Russian-based Internet Research Agency sowed conflict during and after the presidential campaign.  Lawmakers have sharply criticized Facebook for failing to stop the election interference in 2016.”

Lawmakers are of course giving their obligatory lip service about “who should have done this” and “who should have done that,” while of course doing nothing themselves.

It’s also nice to hear that “Facebook has intensified efforts to identify and remove bad actors.”  The problem is, how do they go about removing themselves?

Just a reminder of how Barack Obama and the democrats viewed the problem of jobs.

During a televised edition of PBS NEWS HOUR, back in June of 2016, during the presidential election, then President Barack Obama was lecturing an audience in a town hall type of speech, referencing Donald Trump’s promise to bring back manufacturing jobs to the United States.

President Obama:  “…And so what we have to do is to make sure that folks are trained for the jobs that are coming in now…, because some of those jobs of the past are just not gonna come back.  And when somebody says…, like the person you just mentioned, who I’m not gonna advertise for, that he’s gonna bring all these jobs back, well, how exactly are you gonna do that?  There’s no answer to it.  He just says, ‘I’m gonna negotiate a better deal.’  Well, what.., how exactly are you going to negotiate that?  What magic wand do you have?  And usually the answer is…, he doesn’t have an answer.”

President Obama then went on to bash, then, candidate Trump’s claims that international trade and immigration have hurt American voters.  He then called Trump’s pledge to roll back regulations “crazy.”

“That will not help us win,” Obama said of Trump. “That is not going to make your lives better.”

So here we have President Obama, lecturing us…, again, about something he has no clue about…, again.

I guess my initial reaction is that President Obama is someone I’d like to play Monopoly with.

It has now been over two years since President Obama confidently spoke these clueless words, and year and a half since Donald Trump became The President.

The economy is now cooking at a higher level than ever before!

The GDP for last quarter has now been adjusted up even higher to 4.2%!

Jobless rates are the lowest in history for any demographic group you want to name!

3.9 million jobs have been created and 400,000 manufacturing specific jobs have been added.

If you ask real nice Mr. Obama, maybe President Trump will show you his magic wand!
