Nothin’ from nothin’ leaves nothin’!

I finally figured it out!

About 47% of American households already do not pay any income taxes.

A majority of that 47% probably vote for democrats, because they rely on government “hand-outs” for their existence.

Soooo, if you don’t pay any income taxes, or if most of your supporters don’t pay any income taxes, I guess it would be hard to get excited about the tax cut bill, assuming you’re comfortable with being dependent on the government, or wanting your supporters to stay that way.

Please excuse the rest of us who pay taxes for being excited though.

Thank you.

Democrats, please save us from these tax cuts!

The ink on the tax reform bill wasn’t even dry yet!  President Trump hadn’t even signed the bill yet!  And it hasn’t even been 24 hours since the bill was passed!  Yet already, the American people were forced to confront the evil republican tax cuts!  Help us Nancy!  Help us Chuck!  Help us CNN!

Within hours of the tax reform bill being passed, so much money was being thrown at American workers that we were afraid of sustaining multiple paper cuts!

Let’s take a quick look at those companies responsible for this outrage!

AT&T pledged to give $1,000 bonuses to over 200,000 union workers and low level managers. AT&T’s CEO also pledged to invest over $1 billion in infrastructure and capital investments.  They won’t get away with this if Nancy and Chuck have anything else to say about it!

Comcast also pledged to give $1,000 bonuses to over 100,000 workers while pledging to invest over $50 billion in infrastructure improvements! Save us Oprah Winfrey! Save us Tom Cruise!  What are we to do?!!!!!

Fifth Third Bank then added insult to injury! Not only are they going to hand out $1,000 bonuses to their employees, they are going to raise their minimum hourly wage to $15.00!  Honestly, how much do these evil corporations think the American people can stand?

Wells Fargo Bank then followed suit by also pledging minimum wage increases, and Boeing said it would invest over $300 million in its workforce through various incentives.

I think what we all need right now is a good lecturing from former President Obama, telling us arrogantly what is really good for us and how we should view the whole situation from the proper liberal and anti-American perspective, since we’re not smart enough to understand what’s really going on here. NOT!

According to a “Market Insider” report on CNBC.com:

“This is just the start of companies handing out bonuses, raising wages and increasing spending.”

And that we should, “Expect a stampede of companies handing out bonuses, raising pay, spending on capital projects and giving to charities, with the windfall from the newly passed corporate tax cuts.”

Senator Charles (Mr. Grinch) Schumer (D-NY) criticized the AT&T announcement, and said the company paid a low tax rate over the last decade. “They have 80,000 fewer employees today than they had then,” he said.

Thanks Chuck. That was special.  This one’s for you…

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch

You really are a heel

You’re as cuddly as a cactus, you’re as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch

You’re a bad banana with a greasy black peel!

You’re a monster, Mr. Grinch

Your heart’s an empty hole

Your brain is full of spiders, you have garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch

I wouldn’t touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!

You’re a foul one, Mr. Grinch

You have termites in your smile

You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch

Given a choice between the two of you I’d take the seasick crocodile!

You’re a vile one, Mr. Grinch

You’re a nasty wasty skunk

Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch

The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote

“Stink, stank, stunk”!

“The sky is falling, the sky is falling!” cried Nancy (Chicken Little) Pelosi.

Contrary to the cries of Nancy (Chicken Little) Pelosi, Chuck (Mr. Magoo) Schumer (who don’t really believe their own divisive and deceptive propaganda) and the rest of the “swampy” gang (who have fallen for Nancy and Chuck’s divisive and deceptive propaganda and propagate it), the GOP tax bill isn’t the end of the world, it is, in fact, just the opposite.

After the votes were held in the House and the Senate this week, and the smoke cleared, NOT ONE democrat or “independent” voted along with the republicans. That’s right.  Out of the 193 representatives and the 48 senators that aren’t republicans, ZERO broke the democrat ranks.  ZERO out of 241 possible votes.  NOT ONE democrat had the wherewithal, independence or bravery to think for themselves.  What are they so afraid of?  You do have to be impressed with Chucky’s and Nancy’s ability to keep their “sheep” in check though, as sad as it is.

What is it about the tax reform bill that scares the democrats so much?

Is it the potential of bringing companies and jobs back home to the U.S., by way of the  reduction in the corporate tax rate, from 35%, the highest in the developed world, down to 21%? You can’t find many mainstream economists that disagree that America’s corporate tax rate is too high. In fact, in 2012, President Obama proposed slashing it to 28%. Even at 21%, were still above the European average of around 19%.

Is it the FACT that the plan cuts tax rates across ALL seven tax brackets?

Is it the FACT that this plan DOUBLES the standard deduction, EXPANDS the child tax credit, and alters the alternative minimum tax so that it will affect fewer people? According to an analysis by the Tax Policy Center, THESE CHANGES WOULD REDUCE TAXES FOR EVERY INCOME GROUP.

Is it because this bill also repeals the individual mandate to maintain health coverage that was part of the (un)Affordable Care Act? Democrats argue that millions of Americans will lose health coverage.  That’s not true.  They may choose to opt out of ObamaCare, but they are not forced to.  This will also save millions of middle class families either the $2,400 penalty, or even higher premiums for policies they can’t even afford to use with deductibles of $5,000, $6,000 and even $7,000 or more.

Is it because this bill gives the “fly-over” states, between the coasts, relief from having to subsidize all of the high property taxes imposed by our liberal friends in California and New York? They may be, and should be, scared of this, but hey, fair is fair.

Is it because the tax cuts will continue to feed the fire of the economy, raising tax revenues and growing our GDP? Those arguing against these results ignore a history that shows this is what happens every time taxes are cut. Look at the optimism generated in our economy and by businesses at just the possibility tax reform like this. It seems like the stock market sets a new record high on almost a daily basis, based only on speculation and the hope of things to come.  Imagine how the market and the economy will react to real tax reform?

When you know the facts, you have to ask yourself the question, “Whose side are the democrats on anyways, and why?”

“We the People” don’t need anyone to tell us that keeping more of our own money is a good thing.

“We the People” don’t need anyone to tell us that bringing companies and jobs back to America is a good thing.

“We the People” don’t need any idiot(s) telling us that “the sky is falling,” when we can plainly see that it’s not.

A Blessed and a Merry Christmas from Mr. Erickson!

From The Bible, Luke 2:1-20

The Birth of Jesus

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.

2 (This was the first census that took place while Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and placed him in a manger, because there was no room available for them at an inn.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 And the angel said unto them, do not be afraid: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born unto you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Are you kidding me right now?!

“Trump Administration Is the Most Corrupt Government Institution in the United States, Americans Believe.”

That was the headline for an article written for Newsweek (WeakNews) by Nina Burleigh.

The only problem is she can’t see far enough past her own liberal bias to report on her own numbers correctly.

She writes:

“In the year since Donald Trump was elected president on a promise to ‘drain the swamp’ of Washington’s corruption, Americans have become more, not less, convinced that Washington is corrupt.”

(That’s because President Trump is shining a light on all of the corruption and the fake news trying to cover it up, either by commission or ommission!!!! I’m sure if we had a President Hillary Clinton, corruption would be the last thing the biased mainstream media would be concerned about! It would all still be there but we would be none the wiser.)

She continues:

“A new public opinion poll conducted over the past two months found that Americans don’t believe that Trump is cleaning up the government. In fact, the opposite is true: 58 percent of people surveyed say the level of corruption has risen in the past 12 months, up from 34 percent who said the same in January 2016.”

(I believe she’s trying to portray the President in a negative light here, but it seems like she is tripping over her own words and logic. Regardless, the numbers that she is citing again point towards President Trump bringing the corruption to light, not an increase in corruption as a result of the President.)

Finally she writes:

“Nepotism and Trump’s refusal of transparency with respect to his businesses prompted the resignation of Walter Shaub, who quit in July as head of the federal government’s ethics office. Shaub had been a ferocious critic of the Trump administration’s blasé attitude about government ethics norms.

‘I can’t know what their intention is,’ Shaub said in an interview after he resigned. ‘I know that the effect is that there’s an appearance that the businesses are profiting from his occupying the presidency. And appearance matters as much as reality, so even aside from whether or not that’s actually happening, we need to send a message to the world that the United States is going to have the gold standard for an ethics program in government, which is what we’ve always had,’ he continued.”

(What?! Excuse me! He didn’t just say, “And appearance matters as much as reality, so even aside from whether or not that’s actually happening, we need to send a message to the world that the United States is going to have the gold standard for an ethics program in government, which is what we’ve always had.” Yes, he did just say that! You really have to just let that comment sink in for a minute to realize how “swampy,” how confused, and how based in liberalism it is. “Appearance matters as much as reality.” That is definitely a liberal mainstay of a concept. Then, “Aside from whether or not that’s actually happening, we need to send a message to the world that the United States is going to have the gold standard for an ethics program in government, which is what we’ve always had.” So…we need to send a message to the world about something that might not actually be happening, but that doesn’t matter, as long as people think we’ve always had the “gold standard” for ethics in our government, which nobody would possibly think other than this idiot, Walter Shaub, apparently.)

You can’t make this stuff up!

Well, actually, the biased mainstream media and the “swampy” establishment politicians have.

A Message to Arrogant and Self-Righteous Liberals Everywhere

Here is a message and a reminder to all of those arrogant, self-righteous liberals (mostly the ones who think the world revolves around L.A., New York and D.C.) who feel like it is open-season on President Trump, who want to invalidate and overturn his presidency, and feel that anyone who doesn’t agree with them is an ignorant hillbilly.

President Trump won 30 states to Hillary’s 20.

President Trump won 304 electoral votes to Hillary’s 227.

President Trump’s support basically dominated the country. (Please refer to the county by county map which is shown.)

President Trump won the four perennial swing states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Iowa.

President Trump won the three “blue wall” stronghold states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, which had not been won by a Republican presidential candidate since the 1980s!

President Trump won the election by a wide margin despite…:

Hillary outspending President Trump by more than 2 to 1.

Hillary’s overwhelming advantage of biased, liberal “entertainment mouthpieces.”

Hillary’s overwhelming advantage of the biased mainstream media.

Hillary’s campaign being fed debate questions (and who knows what else) by that same biased mainstream media.

Hillary getting support and information (some would say illegally) from the Obama administration, the FBI, and other intelligence agencies.

And finally, to all of those arrogant and self-righteous liberals who believe supporters of President Trump are either uneducated, ignorant or uninformed; we are none of those things. And remember, having gone to college doesn’t mean you’re smarter, it just means you went to college.

Even though these people do not like the outcome of the election, they need to respect the outcome of the election and accept that Mr. Trump is our President until 2020, at least. They would also be wise to recognize President Trump’s supporters as well. Based on the numbers, there are an awful lot of us out here in the land between L.A. and New York (all of the “red” on the map).

If you like your “swamp” you can keep your “swamp.”

If you think the government, as it stood up until 2017, was doing just fine, then I can understand you supporting “the five forces against President Trump.”

Let’s just be clear then about what you feel was “just fine.”

Was/is it just fine with you that:

… we spend about 5X more per year on incarcerating a criminal that we do on educating a child?

… our education systems are failing millions of children every year?

… our Federal government was grabbing power (through regulation) and land at an unprecedented rate.

… we have a federal deficit of over $20 trillion dollars (and it grows by $3 million every minute), which means each child is born owing about $63,000?

… our economy’s growth had slowed to a snail’s pace, and we were losing a record number of American jobs and companies to other countries?

… people who didn’t qualify to get ObamaCare for free were/are going broke paying their mandated exorbitant premiums, as well as their health care costs, which didn’t even approach their astronomic deductible amounts?

… our governments, the one we see and the one we don’t see (“the swamp”), felt emboldened to be as biased as they wanted to and unaccountable for their actions?

… we were placating terrorist groups and countries supporting them all around the world?

… we were letting “climate change” policies hamper and hinder our economic policies, even though none of the “climate change” policies would actually make an actual impact towards effecting “climate change,” if indeed we really should be trying to effect “climate change?”

… we were allowing illegal immigrants into the country at a record pace, while allowing these illegal immigrants to take advantage of our social services systems, and make a mockery of our laws?

… any progress we may have made in race and culture relations seems to have taken a couple of steps backwards because of divisive leadership?

… our congress (Representatives and Senators) no longer seem to represent their people, but only their party. (When is the last time ONE democrat Representative or Senator went against their national party?)

… we have basically lost our most basic government watchdog, the press, as our major media outlets now just choose to not report items that could prove harmful to politicians or causes that go along with their political stances, while hyper-magnifying (or creating) stories that would seem to have a negative effect on their political adversaries? This is no longer a “free press,” but a purveyor of left-wing propaganda.

… we are unable to determine who is able to go into who’s public bathroom? Or better yet, that anybody is free to go into whatever bathroom they want?

I could go on with this list, but I think I have made a sufficient argument.

So, if all of this was “just fine” with you, and you wanted it all to just continue on this path, then go ahead and support “the five forces against President Trump.” Just don’t expect “We the People” to go along for that ride.

Among Black Americans, who decides who is a “sellout” and what constitutes being a “sellout?”

I saw something on TV this past weekend that had me pondering this question.  I was flipping through the channels and I ended up watching a movie on the BET (Black Entertainment Television) Network. During the movie I saw an ad for some show that would select the biggest Black sellout(s) of 2017.  (Funny, I’ve never seen this ad on any other station that I’ve watched.)  It’s actually kind of ironic that the same people who  throw around the terms “sellout” and “Uncle Tom” are the ones who are the true sellouts in my opinion.

Don’t agree? Let’s take a look and see.  I personally am not Black, but I can still have an opinion.

So who are the ones branding people as “sellouts” and Uncle Toms?” Primarily it’s the Black media (TV, radio, magazines) or Black entertainment groups and Black entertainers.  The same “Black media” entities that are either owned or primarily controlled by their white “money masters,” or establishment Blacks who are in turn controlled by their white “money masters,” similar to the “drivers” that existed on the old plantations of the South.  A good example of a “driver” would be the character “Stephen” from the movie “Django Unchained.”

The Blacks who are branded as “sellouts” are not done so based on actions against their race or culture, but rather for actions that go against established political norms and expectations, which have proved to only be beneficial to the white “masters,” the establishment “drivers,” and entertainers, but not Black Americans as a whole.

You need more proof? Ok. Well, how are the white “masters” doing these days? Pretty good, right? How are the Black establishment, Black politicians, and Black entertainers doing? Pretty good, right?

Now, how is the rest of Black America doing?

Exactly.

How is the rest of Black America doing regarding:

Education?

Employment?

Poverty levels?

Safety?

Housing?

Drugs and drug treatment?

Single parent families?

Rates of incarceration?

Exactly. Unless you’re a member of the Black establishment, then you are not concerned about those issues because they don’t affect you directly.

But if you’re Black, and you go against the status quo, you’re a sellout.

But a sellout to who and a sellout of whom? Think about it.

Black America has remained “beholden” to the same establishment for the last 50+ years, at a rate of about 90%.

So how has that worked out for Black America as a whole?

I’d say about 80% of our fellow Black Americans are suffering, and that’s just fine with the people that aren’t “selling out.”

The Black establishment just keeps trotting out the same old, tired, and divisive, cries of racism, and police brutality, so they don’t have to actually do anything about the other issues listed above.

That’s my opinion. Let me know what you think.

The Man that Spared Hitler’s Life

It was September of 1918 and the First World War was in its final hours. Millions of soldiers on both sides had died and those who were still fighting knew the end of the war was very near, as did English Private Henry Tandey.

Private Tandy was fighting on the French battlefield of Marcoing. As the battle raged, Allied and German forces engaged in bitter hand to hand combat. The defining moment for Private Tandey and world history came when a wounded German limped directly into his line of fire.  The weary German soldier did not even attempt to raise his own rifle. “I took aim but couldn’t shoot a wounded man,” said Tandey, “so I let him go.”  The German soldier saw him lower his rifle and nodded his thanks before wandering off. Years later he discovered he had spared an Austrian Corporal named Adolf Hitler.

Adolf Hitler never forgot that pivotal moment, or the man who had spared him. When Hitler became the German Chancellor in 1933, he ordered his staff to track down the man whom had spared his life.

In 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain paid Hitler an historic visit. It was during this visit that Adolf Hitler arranged for his personal gratitude to be relayed to Tandey.  Chamberlain conveyed Hitler’s message via telephone on his return to London.

Henry Tandey left military service before the start of World War II and worked as a security guard in the town of Coventry. His “good deed” haunted him for the rest of his life, especially as Nazi bombers destroyed Coventry in 1940 and London burned day and night during the Blitz.

“If only I had known what he would turn out to be. When I saw all the people, woman and children, he had killed and wounded I was sorry to God I let him go,” he said before his death in 1977 at age 86.

Estimates are that at least 50 million people died as a result of World War II.
